Chapter Six: Blind Confessions

I watched as my trainee Twilight ran back into Gemini with tears running down her cheeks. I heard my brother Kanon yelling at someone, but my first instinct was to see why Twilight was in tears. Then I'll tear whoever's ass I need to tear.

I walked to her room and found it open, but the heartwrenching sobs tore at my heart. Twilight is like a daughter to me. I hugged her softly and pulled her on my lap. I felt her bury her face in my shoulder. I rocked her gently and cooed soothingly to her.

I heard something hit the entrance of Gemini and then dragged to the exit of Gemini. Then I listened to the quiet steps of my twin coming into Twilight's room. I looked up to see Kanon and, to my surprise Phoenix Ikki. Ikki was pissed off because Ikki took the blind girl from me, and he gently kissed her temple.

"Don't worry, Light; the idiot Lynx won't be bothering you again. I know you loved him, but for him to treat you like this and cheat and lie to your face for six months." Ikki cooed softly.

I left Twilight in Ikki's care while I followed my brother out to where Ikki had dragged Jason. To my surprise, I saw the other Bronze Saints holding Cygnus Hyōga. I came over, pat Hyōga on his left shoulder, shook my head at him, waved the other boys off, and pushed Hyōga toward my brother, waving them both off.

Cracks knuckles

Let's say I gave Lynx Jason the smackdown of his life, and no, I did not kill the bastard, just scared him enough to make him leave Sanctuary, but I made damn sure he left his cloth behind.

Kanon and I kept any wannabe boyfriends away from Twilight. I have noticed Twilight spending most of her time with Andromeda Shun and Phoenix Ikki. I should have mentioned earlier that I went to Lady Athena and asked to adopt Twilight. So legally, I am her father.

I slowly saw my Twilight laughing and joking around with the boys again. I had also noticed how Cygnus Hyōga hovered around my Dove.

Hm.

I'd say Cygnus Hyōga is crushing on my Dove if I didn't know any better. Of course, I went to speak with the boy with his Master present. I learned it was Cygnus Hyōga who found out what Jason did, and it was Cygnus Hyōga who forced Lynx Jason to tell Twilight the truth no matter how hard it was for Twilight to hear, and Ikki had beat up Jason. And Twilight had turned him down when he asked her about a month ago. Camus told me it was another Saint who captured my Dove's heart.

Hm.

I walked back up toward Gemini when I heard a loud whoop from Milo and Kanon. I came running to see Ikki kneeling before Twilight holding her hand, and I could see Lady Athena smiling as I came running up.

"Dove Twilight, with your father's permission, will you be my girlfriend?"

Twilight smiled and nodded.

"Of course, I'll be your girlfriend."

Ikki looked over at me, and I gave a silent sigh as Kanon elbowed me in the ribs hard.

"Oh fine, you have my blessing, but if you hurt my dove." I left the threat open as I walked away, shaking my head but very happy for my Dove.

A year later, Ikki and Twilight are still together.
