Lucy POV

"What do you mean it ends here?" I asked.

"I mean it's gone. No trail. Nothing." Gajeel said.

The wind kicked up causing the ice breeze to send shivers down my spine. Damn this mountain... "I thought you said you could smell him no problem. How is it now you smell nothing?" I asked, frustration bubbling. Natsu is still missing... we've been tracking them for 2 days. You'd think they wouldn't get to far given how close we were capture but apparently they have some major speed.

"Given their speed you think an enchanter could be among them? Wendy is that possible? Could their scent be hidden with enchants as well?" Erza asked looking at Wendy.

"It would account for their speed, how ever, I am not sure about the scent portion." She said.

"What if they are under ground?" Juvia said. "There's a cave system under here. I can feel running streams below us. Maybe they took that?" Juvia said cocking her head to the side.

"Let's split up. Wendy, Lucy, and myself will go down in to the caves and search. Gajeel and Juvia, follow the cave system above ground to see if there is an exit. If so wait there. Maybe we can corner him." Erza ordered. "LUCY!"

"Right! Open! Gate of the Maiden! Virgo" I commanded.

DING DONG!

"Is it time for my punishment Lucy-Sama?" Virgo asked bowing her head.

"No! Virgo, dig below us so we can make an entrance into these tunnels".

"Hai Hima-sama", Turning Virgo started spinning rapidly effectively drilling us a way in.

"Do you think they wanted Natsu-San and Gray-San because they were fairy tail wizards or just because they crossed paths?" Wendy asked.

"I don't know," Erza said pulling a torch,"but, we will find them" she said igniting its end.

"We have too" I said quietly. It's my turn to rescue you.

Gray POV

Why on earth did I follow him? Why did I do what he did? Now here I am in this nasty cell with what little light these torches offer while his idiotic ass is no where to be seen. I sighed at my inner monologue.

"Lu...cy..." Natsu said in his sleep. It has been a couple days at least since that crazy bitch brought us here. To be honest her last comment really had me concerned. It was almost like she plans to pretend to be him...

"Pshh" I scoffed, "No way in hell Juvia won't recognize that ain't me but Natsu... Lucy will be able to tell".

"LUCY!" Natsu yelled sitting up. He look around quickly then realized the situation. "She's going to try and impersonate me..." he said turning to look at me.

"Yup..." I agreed.

"You defeated memory make magic before. Right? The stupid hat wearing asshole " he asked making a hat shape motion above his head.

"Rufus and I did..." I replied standing up starting to stretch.

"Show me..." Natsu said.

"It's all about...speed. The faster we throw spells at her, the more difficult it is for her to memorize. Considering our arsenal now compared to the grand magic games I'd say we have a high chance for success. Lost magic or not, we can take her down. The other guys will be the issue."

"Why? Why can't we just go for "plan T", bust out and take on this place and get her when she returns?" He asked.

"Because we run the risk of her being anyone among them. She could memorize our spells as we go. Also another issue is what she has memorized already. She has a whole arsenal at her disposal of all different kinds of magic. So, I suggest we make a break for it. More than likely she will pursue us." I said. This also gets me closer to Juvia and gets Natsu closer to thinking more clearly. What is his deal anyway?

"Hey, can I ask you something?" I said looking at him.

"Sure" he said looking at me confused.

"What is going on with you? You are are making rash decisions as of late. Especially since Hargeon... I know you worry for Lucy but she is a capable mage. What is really going on?" I asked.

"It's like this... I can't explain it... She just seems... more important than anything else on this earth. I know I love her but that can't just be it. It's more than that. Like it is ingrained in me. Gajeel mentioned the dragon instinct to mate for life is given to us because of the dragon seed. Mine seems stronger than his though. It's like every fiber of my being is screaming at me that she is mine and she is in danger..." he said looking down at his hands.

"Hold up? Mate? Like animals.. mate?" I asked.

"Kinda, but apparently we don't get the drive to 'Fuck our partners til babies fall out' as per Gajeel explanation."

"Yeah, but you all have already been 'intimate' ... So its not Iike that is the issue" I said coughing.

"No... we haven't. I've been too dense for a while not realizing that was something she desired intimacy or whatever. Now that I know what all it entails...I can't get it out of my mind. The need for her is overwhelming, but the drive to protect her is driving my senses insane." He sighed.

"So...let me get this straight, Lucy is your 'mate' and you have like a need in your inner dragon or some shit. That's why you can't think like a normal human?" I asked slightly annoyed realizing that I am at the whim of some animalistic pheromone.

"... urghhhhh" he sighed. " What is wrong with me..."

"I don't know, but you are going to have to put that inner dragon mate shit on hold and deal with the now issue. We have to bust out of here."

"I know lets go. Try and knock out as many as your can", he snarled. His temper was seeming to get the best of him. Glancing down I saw his hands were red hot against the bars in our cell. The metal started to melt as he pulled them apart.

"Split up?" I asked.

"I'll go right."

"See you at the top" I said bumping my fist against his.

He breathed in slowly as the first from the torches on the wall entered his mouth. "Thanks for the meal.." He said as he sprinted off in the dark.

Lucy POV

"Open Gate of the Lion! Leo! Go!" I said extending my hand turning the Loki's golden key.

DING DONG!

"Regulus IMPACT!" Loki yelled slamming his glowing fists into the face of to bandits who jumped us after we finally entered the tunnel.

"VIRGO!" I yelled, " Star Dress Mix: Leo Virgo FORM!" My clothes began to glow as my outfit morphed into a maids outfit adorned with black and gold cloth. "Regulus!" I screamed as large amounts of white light emerge from my hands striking the four on coming men. Breathing heavily I smirked pulling my whip as the combined dress disappeared.

"What was that?" Erza said emerging from the hole Virgo made.

"I've been experimenting..." I said shyly.

"Lucy-San that was amazing!" Wendy said following her.

"Let's move! Requip! Flight Armor!" Erza was now dressed in her leopard armor form. "We need to do this quickly and quietly."

"Close Virgo, Close Leo" I said pulling out another key I spoke again, "Star Dress form: CANCER!" My clothes changed again into light blue shirt with cancers symbol on my chest. Equipped with two red blades I followed Erza as we stealthy took out bandits.

"Get down!" Erza yelled! Suddenly blazing hot fire shot down out hall way.

"Natsu..." I said. Standing I saw him, his eyes looked raged and his breathing was heavy.

"NATSU! You're okay I-"

"Get down!!!" Erza said again, pulling me the ground.

Red hot fire came flying our direction.

"Why is he attacking us..." I said tears filling my eyes as my star dress form faded.

"I don't know but right now he is not the Natsu we know.. we need to take him down, can you do that Lucy?" She asked staring in my eyes.

I sniffled, "Yes... Let's do this."

Natsu POV

"Stay down!" I yelled punching a male mage in the face. Not using my magic was becoming a real pain. Lifting my chin smelled the air, "strawberry... She's here", I said as a low rumble sounded from my chest.

"Fire Dragon...ROARRRRRRR!!!!"

"What the? Thats not me!" I said sprinting towards the soft reddish glow in the dark cave.

"ICE MAKE!!! LANCE!!!!" Gray yelled from up ahead.

"REGULUS IMPACT!"

"NAKAGAMI STARLIGHT!"

They must realize that isn't me.

"Shhhhhhhh sleep..." a faint voice said as my eyes grew heavy and I faded into black...

No POV

"Lushhhiiiiiii" Natsu said as he stalked toward Lucy.

"Ice Make, Hammer!" Gray yelled send a full fledged hammer at him. It melted on impact.

"Why are we fighting Natsu??" Lucy said wiping her forehead after dodging a fire dragon roar.

"Kayru no..." Natsu seethed...

"Requip! Fire empress armor!" Ezra yelled!

"Iron First!!!!!" He Yelled slamming his fist into Erza.

"Ahhh!" She screamed as her armor cracked from her pressure.

"Did that hurt...Erza-San?" Natsu grinned.

"It isn't Natsu! The woman who took us her magic is memory make. She is using Natsu's magic. Ice make... Geyser!!!" Gray yelled.

"But hey does she look like him??" Lucy asked.

"She can use transformation magic" Gray responded.

"Iron dragon...ROARRRRRRR" Gajeel yelled striking the fake Natsu.

"Gray-sama!" Juvia yelled running towards him. She gasped when she say the small cuts on his skin.

"When did you even strip?!?!" Lucy yelled.

"You will pay for hurting my darling Gray. Water Lock!" Juvia yelled. The woman pretending to be Natsu yelled as she was trapped. Her transformation magic ended revealing her another form. She looked up.

"Lucy..." she struggled as her appearance changed. "Open... Gate of the water bearer... Aquarius!"

DING DONG

"You dare summon me and we have no contract..." Aquarius said.

"A-a-Aquarius..." Lucy stammered.

"Lucy..." Aquarius said realizing she was not only across from a tear filled Lucy but now been forced to attack her by another menacing looking Lucy.

"You may look like Lucy but your a bigger idiot that she is to think I will help you." Aquarius said.

"You have no choice you stupid fish... fight her... or I'll kill her" the cop cat said. Using her nail she cut her own cut as the real Lucy screamed and blood trickled down her cheek.

"Body link magic..." Aquarius said.

The copy then punch herself in the gut dropping the real Lucy to her knees coughing blood.

"Ha ha.." Lucy laughed, "you are dumb if that is your threat... everyone knows Aquarius..." she coughed again, "go ahead.. don't you have a date or something..."

"Torrent"

"Star Dress Form! Aquarius!"

They both yelled at the same time. Water flooded the cavern as Juvia enclosed everyone else in her water lock.

"What the!" The copy cat yelled.

"Aquarius always gets her owner caught in her torrents.. you need to learn more about Spirits before you use them! "Open! Gate of Sea Goat! Capricorn!"

DING DONG!!!

"What is it Lucy-sama?" Capricorn said bowing.

"Take..me...out!" Lucy breathed.

"But the body link..." he said.

"I will be fine. Trust me." Lucy replied.

Capricorn launched at the Lucy copy cat punching her first in the face. The real Lucy flew backwards. Then Capricorn kicked the mimic in the side sending her into the wall. The real Lucy screamed in pain and fell to her knees.

"You won't.. beat me..." the copy cat said choking in her words. She suddenly glowed returning to another form. Her skin pale, eyes green like acid with red hair. She lurched forward stumbling.

"Grand...Chariot..." she whispered.

"GET BEHIND ME!!!!!!!" Erza yelled requiping her Adamantine Armor.

"Good bye..." Aquarius said disappearing as Capricorn scooped Lucy up moving her behind Erza then disappearing.

Beams of starlight began to fall on them.

"Ice Make! Shield!" Gray yelled putting ice around them to stop the beams.

"Karyu no... HOKKOOOOOOO" Natsu yelled! As fire erupted for one of the cavern walls sending a man flying into the woman. The ceiling in the cave began to collapse.

"Open...Gate of...the...Maiden... Virgo!" Lucy yelled struggling.

DING DONG!

"Hime-sama! You've used too much magic!!" Virgo said catching Lucy.

"Get..us...out of here..." Lucy said passing.

Virgo spun taking her and the rest to the surface.

Natsu POV

"You..." he said sniffing the air as the cavern began to cave in. Strawberries and blood. My blood began to boil.

"Ohhh Natsu you're so funny. How did you escape? I thought Darians sleep magic was inescapable." She replied.

"You hurt Lucy..." I said this time fire engulfing my arms.

"Are we angry? Memory Make... Explosion!" She yelled shooting her hand up she blew the cavern ceiling off until they were no longer under ground.

"My name Miranda...shall we play?" She said cocking her head to one side.

"The key to being memory make mages is you have to be faster than they can erase." Gray said.

"Fire Dragon...Crimson lotus! Iron first! Wing Talon! Roar! Brilliant Flame!" I yelled each spell hitting her one after another.

"ARGHHHH!" She yelled as my blows hit her repeatedly.

"Ice Make! Lance!" Grayyelled.

"Heaven's Wheel!!! Circle Sword!" Ezra said.

"Irong Dragon Steel Sword!" Gajeel yelled

"Water Nebula!" Juvia said.

"Regulas Impact!" Loki said appeasing from no where.

All the magic hit Miranda dead on. She screamed in pain unable to erase it. Her body hit the ground with a thud as air exited her lungs.

"We did it!" Everyone exclaimed. I grinned looked over at Lucy as she struggled to stand. Running to her I caught her as she fell forward.

"You saved me this time..." I said nuzzling her neck.

"I think we saved each other..." she said pulling my lips to Hers.

"Gajeel!!!!!" Wendy yelled as Charle was carrying her.

"Levy... she is in labor!"
