1950's AU where Christine is inspired a bit by Marilyn Monroe's private life. She begins a new project as the (female) title role in a live-action Beauty and the Beast film with an incredibly curious musical director. Still using the personalities of ALW/Leroux characters.

MODERN AU. E/C. In which Christine Daaé gets a job at the Palais Garnier as a stylist for the ballerinas. Could the opera ghost help her become more, and gain the recognition she deserves? And could she help him escape the darkness of his mind?

Suppose Christine Daae has a backbone and Madame Giry had a strict talk about Christine following her heart not society, what would life be like for the Soprano if she willingly became Erik's wife? Starting at the end of ALW, with a touch of Leroux and Kay. sometimes a little OOC. Humour, Love, Nadir, Meg, Madame Giry and some new and old characters and of course Opera.

A short retelling of some of the events that transpired during *that* time, with Erik and Christine's relationship spiraling into chaos. This is one of the parts of my longer story, Alternatives, but it doesn't deviate from the canon so much and I thought it would work nice on its own as a short story.

Can Erik learn to love again for both their sakes, or will his pain again, drive away love? Or will his temper drive her into Raoul's arms, causing him to lose his son forever?

Erik worries for his protege, and not just about her voice. When he hears a Vicomte has shown interest in her, he thinks that could be just the thing to save her from a life of solitude. Why would Christine prefer to spend her time practicing with Erik when she could be dating the Vicomte? When her relationship with Raoul appears to be serious, why does Erik feel so sad about that?

What if a mother can't get used to her deformed son as easily as she should? What happens when she wants to choose the easier way out? Leroux based oneshot.
