She enters the life of a mysterious masked boy, who unlike her has been exposed to a different sort of harsh reality about the way of the world, he has relinquished whatever hope he has of freeing himself of it. Dragged down to the Phantom's lair, realisation dawns on Christine as her Angel turns out to be the dreaded Phantom. Yet as the days go on, Christine glimpses the true gentle Erik rather than the feared Phantom. However will the cold, rage filled Phantom push her ultimately away from truly seeing the man behind the mask?

The authorities have finally caught up with Erik and he is forced into therapy. If he can prove that he is a changed man, then he can go free. His therapist, one day, suggests he get a dog to see if taking care of an animal that gives unconditional love will help him change. This is the story of the Opera Ghost and his dog, Coda.

Lady Christine arrives with her father, Earl of Baideanach to Alterwood Castle to marry Raoul, Prince of Glayweth. There she meets his mysterious masked cousin who turns her life upside down. But not everything is as it seems...E/C, AU medieval-ish. May contain mature content, visibly separated from the rest.

What if Christine hadn't really wanted to leave Erik? What if she had been pushed away from a man who felt that he was undeserving of her? I suppose only time will tell.
