A dark take on the Spider-Man mythos. When a 14 year old boy named Peter Parker gets bitten by a radioactive spider while in a science lab, Peter starts devoloping spider like powers. He eventually becomes the hero known as Spider-Man. After Peter's uncle gets shot, Peter starts going down a dark path, where he does some questionable things.

After going through yet another multiversal crossover event, 616 Peter Parker is approached by a familiar figure and may need to confront his own past.

One-shot story. Set after No Way Home. After defeating the Green Goblin and returning to his universe, Peter reunites with Felicia Hardy, his lover as his relationship with Mary Jane ended years ago, before heading to Aunt May's grave the following day.

"Peter's head tilts upwards, and there he is- the masked, green glad man, standing on one of the uppermost pillars, a heavy cable in one hand, Mary Jane dangling in the other." Peter is forced to choose between saving Mary Jane and a tram car full of children. He isn't strong enough to save both. And, unfortunately, the answer is obvious. One-shot. AU.

After seeing Spider Man: No Way Home, I enjoyed the movie a great deal and decided not to wait for the next movie to come out. This story will be my continuation after NWH and will pick up some time after the end of the movie. For those who have not seen SMNWH and do not want any spoilers, do not read this.

Hopefully, Spider-Man and MJ will Never Break.
