Reeling from betrayal, Maleficent flees the Moors into a dark forest. There she finds a woodland realm and a people that are not so different from her. As time passes, she becomes more comfortable in her adopted home and even learns to trust others again. One new found friend in particular helps her to discover what she really is and just how she fits into Middle Earth.
