They both miss the life they built together. You can't just shut off you love for someone. They are worth the work it will take. This is what I always imagined happened after season 7 ended.

When Rory is in Europe with Emily she meets someone and does the unexpected. How does this affect her life when she gets home?

Post "A Year in the Life." This is my first Gilmore Girls fanfic. It'll be mostly family drama, like the show, heavy on Rory and Lorelei's relationship with a Rory x Jess angle.

Since we were left with such a cliffhanger, this story needs an ending.

Starting where A Year in the Life ended we see how Rory handles the new life ahead of her and we find out who makes an effort to be apart of her new adventure.
