By Rory's junior year at Stars Hollow High she's got a pretty good grip on who she is... until Jess moves to town. She never thought she'd start second guessing herself and her relationship, but Rory is starting to learn that maybe she doesn't know what type of girl she is at all. Starts at episode 2x05, Nick & Nora/Sid & Nancy.

(Two-shot) They've only been married for four months, but together for five-six years and something is happening, something is changing in relationship. Maybe that's why he left the young man waiting in the living room with at least half a dozen pictures of the woman in question sitting on a self, playing Cinderella. It was true in her eyes and to everyone else that he was Prince Charming, but to her father, he was riding in and stealing Cinderella.

And he knew right then his heart broke as the words his wife and others have spoke to him came back to haunt him, ringing through his mind, reminding him why he was trying to hold on because: It won't be like this for long.

Rory Gilmore gets her dreaded college exam scores back, but can't bring herself to open them. She doesn't know for the life of her, why this exam scores are so different than previous ones she has received. Could it be these exam scores are that close to defining her future? And who can possibly talk some sense into Rory?

A freaky turn of events in season 2 offers Lorelai a bit of insight into Jess' situation, and vice versa. The plot was inspired by the movie Freaky Friday. The plot revolves around Lorelai and Jess but has literati and javajunkie undertones.

The third person in the love triangle finally tells her side of the story.
