Five years after the conclusion of the Prophecy of Time, an earthquake hits New York City. During the earthquake, the Central Park entrance was revealed to the world after the stone covering it was destroyed. As Overlanders descend into the Underland, Gregor acts as a mediator between both sides in an attempt to stop a disaster in the making.

It's been four years since Gregor has ever uttered the words "fly you high," rode a bat, taken part in a prophecy, or been to the kingdom of Regalia. Everyone in his family saw it as a blessing. Well, everyone but him. One fateful day, Gregor runs into a familiar Halflander child, Hazard, who has come to the Overland, saying that Regalia is calling for Gregor's help once more.

He wakes up in a refugee camp, on the border of the Dead Lands. Its nothing like his apartment, or the bedrooms of Regalia's palace, but its more safe. The blame goes to the traitors in Regalia, the traitors of humanity, those that enslave and kill for joy, that laugh at pain and fear. No one knows why they've changed so suddenly, or why. But Gregor intends to find out.

It's been about five years since Gregor and his family left the Underland. He has settled back into society with his family. But soon a foe never thought to arise has finally come to get his revenge on the city that imprisoned him for years. Beware for occasional language.

Gregor was living a pitiful and boring life in Virginia when one day a fimiliar face makes a visit.

Gregors worst fear has occurred. Upon leaving the Underland, probably forever, Gregors mother immediately demanded that the family move to Virginia, and, much to Gregors displeasure, they did.
