She woke to the protests of her entire body at whatever excuse for a bed she was sleeping on, to the burn of a deep wound across the nape of her neck and down her spine, to an aching feeling of something lost that was frankly more alarming than anything having to do with not knowing where she was or how she'd gotten there. The night Maka had planned to stay in the house with her Netflix account and a cup of green tea had warped into her being dragged to a music festival and meeting her potential soulmate as he performed for her on stage.
