Things take a turn for the worse when Soul and maka attend a funeral for Souls grandma. Something happens to cause Soul and the rest of their friends to turn against Maka. Maka ends up leaving the DWMA without saying a word to her friends, years later when she finally returns Maka has become a death sythe. Maka however returned with a huge seceret as well.

From my other fanfic called A Place To Call Home, but this is Soul's story. You don't have to have read the other one since their two different plots with kind of the same message. All character rights go to Atsushi Okubo I own nothing but the plot.
