The Shard in the Present
Kagome had gone back to her present times and Inu-Yasha and the gang were in Keade's Village waiting for her to come back. Kagome got out of the well lugging her big yellow book sack like always. Though when Inu-Yasha jumped over to the well to say hello she told Inu-Yasha the bad news. A shard of the Shikonotoma was inside a girl's neck at school. How will we ever get it from her. We'll have to kill her if we want it and she's a really funny innocent girl. Inu-Yasha was tempted for a while to kill the weakling girl but Kagome seemed to have a relationship with her. Sango quickly asked how Kagome had found out the girl had it. "Well lets see it was Monday and we were about to take a Math Exam when the teacher said that there was a new transfer student. He introduced her as Tenshi and she said that she was from China and last year had to Japan. The teacher told her she didn't have to take the exam but she insisted that she must. That's when I felt the presence of the shard. I looked around and then saw a pink glow around Tenshi's neck. After school I asked her to come over and she ended up helping me with my Math. She tutors me every Saturday and Tuesday now and we always have a snack after school. Plus the shard in her neck is purified."
The gang thought and thought about it and decided to ask Keade. "Well there is way to get the shard from her neck without killing her. But she would have to be fully aware and her own hand would have to pierce the spot where the shards are with a purified arrow. Then I have the herbs and medicine that will heal the wound but the process of this ritual will take twenty Moons (Twenty Days)."
Kagome decided to go back and try to see if having a jewel shard would allow someone to pass into Feudal Times. So the next day at school she brought Tenshi to the well house and said that she had dropped something in the well that she needed for school. Luckily Tenshi was brave and just jumped in. When Kagome looked there was no Tenshi. Great thought Kagome if anyone has a shard anyone can come to Feudal Times. Then she jumped in. Meanwhile Tenshi climbed out of the well to see Inu-Yasha. She rubbed her eyes "I must have hit the bottom of that well hard I'm having hallucinations." Either that or the whole things a dream." "Kagome where are you "Tenshi called out."Useless wench are you Tenshi" Inu-Yasha said. "Is it just me or did that hallucination talk" Tenshi then pinched herself. "Guess it's not a dream" Miroku comes from behind Tenshi and pats her but, "Maiden what brings you here. *SLAP* "PERVERT!!!SICKO!!!! This is just the sickest hallucination I've ever had. Kagome slips out of the well "Hey Tenshi" *sighs* "I guess I'll have to tell her the confusing truth."
