The small craft landed on the rain soaked planet. From it, a single, metallic creature emerged. It looked left and right, getting a bearing on its surroundings. The creature had a name... Samus Aran. She looked to the left, and seeing a door, ran towards it. Relasing one single shot from her arm cannon, she opened it. After walking through it, the door closed, again glowing blue. Dust floated around the room, and a strange fog impeded her vision. Small blue moths flew away as she approached them. Ignoring them, she jumped down a tunnel. Another blue door appeared, on the ground. She aimed down, and opened the door. Falling down the small tunnel, still in the fog. She occaisonally hit a tile, stopping her rapid descent. Her suit (called a Power Suit) absorbed all of the impact without harm. Another door stood in her way, and she opened it.

This was creppy. Shards of glass littered the ground. The room seemed too quiet, and she could hear strange echoes of a long ago battle. She had been here before! This was where she had so long ago fought Mother Brain, and won. The glass was her house, as it seemed. She recalled the lava, the strange balls of flying plasma, the platforms and the explosion as Mother Brain died. She had left 3 years ago.

Shaking her head, she entered the next room, only to find an elevator. As she descended, she contemplated her battle. Upon landing, she recognized the area as well. This was where she had first entered the base. If her memory served her right, there was an object to her left, no pun intended. She jumped, quite high, considering the metal suit she wore. Yes, there it was...the Morph Ball! She picked it up, and added it to her suit. Then, it happened. A light. Not by any means scary, considering what she had seen, but its mere prescense scared her more than a hundred guns aimed at her. Where there was light, the was electricity, and life. They were back...
