This story begins during the Clone Wars episode "An Old Friend". Padmé had been helping an old flame, Rush Clovis, to prove misdoings among the Banking Clan. The first couple of chapters follow this story arc quite closely, as well as events in Season 7 of Clone Wars; but the story will diverge radically soon enough.
