RWBBY: Bare Necessities

Volume 1

Chapter 1: Red, White, Black, Blue, Yellow (Dub Edition)

Legends...

Stories scattered and forgotten through time.

Man, born from dust, was strong, wise, and resourceful.

An inevitable darkness-creatures of destruction-The creatures of Grimm-

set their sight on man and all of his creations. Man was hunted by the Grimm,

and just when it seemed like man's brief existence might return to void.

the smallest spark of hope brought forth a great change.

Man used his passion, resourcefulness, and ingenuity to uncover a new power, appropriately called Dust.

Man thus lit their way through darkness in the shadow's absent, came civilization and life.

Upon the golden sun in an clear blue sky over the tall grass and trees, In front of Summer's Gravestone is a young girl with a cloak billowing petals in the breeze. Hands clasped and hood up, Ruby Rose stands over the white stone memorial.

Ruby: "Hey, Mom! It's been a while. Oh! Guess what? Yang got accepted into Beacon Academy! How cool is that? (looks down at the inscription: "Summer Rose – Thus Kindly I Scatter") She always said she wanted to be an huntress, and she did it! I just can't believe it! (lowering her head a bit) But if I'm being honest, it is kind of annoying. Oh, of course I'm happy for my big sister, but I want to be a Huntress too. I still have two more years at Signal. Oh, why can't I be more like her? (she quickly shakes it off, and takes out her inactive weapon Crescent Rose) Anyway, when it comes to weapons, I'm as good as anyone, better even. I'm gonna work hard, so I can fight to protect the people from Grimm just like you did, Mom!"

After giving a confident wink, Ruby than suddenly heard Yang's motorcycle Bumblebee approaching the gravesite. Ruby's older sister Yang Xiao Long soon stops to park Bumblebee, getting off, and taking off her helmet and sunglasses.

Ruby: "Yang, you came!" (running towards her older sister, with great excitement, as she and Yang share a hug together.)

Yang: "You giving Mom the good news, huh?"

Ruby: "I told her you got into Beacon, oh why can't I go?"

Yang: "Oh Ruby, don't worry, your time will come, Isn't that right, Mom?" (smiling as she looks at their mother's gravestone, giving it a wink)

Meanwhile, in Atlas, The heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, Weiss Schnee was preparing herself with her rapier Myrtenaster outside of her mansion, as the family's butler Klein Sieben approaches her.

Klein: "The arrangements you've requested have been made, Miss Weiss. Your father is waiting."

Weiss: "Shall we get going, Klein?"

Klein: "Yes." (answering with a bow)

Weiss and Klein walked in the hallway, and walked by the family portrait. Clockwise they are Jacques Schnee, Weiss, Whitley, Winter, and Mrs. Schnee. Mrs. Schnee has a stern look on her face, Winter and Weiss are frowning, Whitley is smiling, and Jacques has a neutral expression. Weiss looked outside to see her mother Mother Willow Schnee, sitting on a chair facing only a fountain, drinking a cup of red wine.

Weiss: "Day drinking already, Mother? I guess I shouldn't be surprised."

Weiss and Klein soon see Weiss's youngest brother Whitley Schnee, standing in one of the dark shadows of the hallway.

Whitley: "Presenting Weiss Schnee. our future Huntress."

Weiss: "Whitley, what are you doing here?"

Whitley: "I'm worried about you of course. A test this dangerous isn't normal. We wouldn't want you getting hurt. would we?"

Weiss: "No. This is hardly enough to be intimidating. (she and Klein walk pass Whitley, as she than said to him) So just shut up and watch."

Weiss and Klein were both approaching the end of the hallway, towards the door to the Schnee Training Room, as Whitley soon said to himself.

Whitley: "I've always watched you, my fearless, foolhardy sister."

Weiss and Klein finally stepped in the training room, as the door slams shut behind them. Weiss steps forward towards the center of the stadium. From of the two corners of the stadium balcony, Weiss's oldest sister Winter Schnee and their father Jacque Schnee are going to observe Weiss's performance for her test. Weiss than bowed to them both.

Weiss: "I am ready to take my test. Dear Father. Sister. I hope you'll be true to your word."

Jacque: "This is all utterly preposterous."

Winter: "As I recall, this was your idea, Father, Weiss is prepared to do it."

Whitley than arrived, standing next to his father, and also watching Weiss's final test.

Weiss: "I 'am, now, please unleash the Grimm."

Jacque: "Very well, but if I decide it's impossible, you will fail. That will be the end of this foolishness."

Weiss: "I'm not going to fail."

Weiss turns to Klein, as he approaches a lever. Weiss gives him a confident nod, and Klein pulls the lever. a platform floor suddenly began to lit up, as it lowers down to a lower floor. Weiss placed her hand on the hilt of Myrtenaster, as the platform was rising up again, only for an massive suit of armor wielding a huge sword to now be on it, an Arma Gigas. Weiss now draws out her weapon, ready to fight.

The fight starts as the Arma Gigas stands up and swings its massive sword down at Weiss, which she narrowly evades by back-flipping out of the way. Weiss then draws her rapier, Myrtenaster, and darts forward, landing a hit onto the Armor before briefly twirling and landing.

The Arma Gigas swings again, but Weiss darts behind her opponent, landing several slashes on her foe as she spins. The Arma Gigas responds by swinging its sword horizontally at her, but she manages to block the attack, bringing Myrtenaster up just in time. She is, however, unable to prevent herself from being sent sliding back.

Upon recovering from the attack, Weiss looks up just in time to see her foe in the air preparing to strike at her. As the Grimm swings, she quickly dodges, but it persists in its attack, sending her tumbling back. With white energy gathered on her fingertips, Weiss makes a downward motion to the ground, and a white glyph appears underneath her.

She then dashes forward with inhuman speed, preventing the Arma Gigas from landing a blow, and seemingly teleports around it several times with the assistance of her glyphs, striking it many times in the process. However, when she had Myrtenaster glowing red, deflecting a heavy blow from the sword, she was about to strike at it, but is caught off-guard by the subsequent punch, which sends her flying and landed on the floor, wounded.

Whitley: "Uh-Huh..." (said smugly)

Jacque: "Come to your senses yet? Call it off."

Winter: "Not quite yet, she's not done."

Weiss then stands back up and faces the Arma Gigas, blood flowing down the left side of her face. She then assumes her combat stance.

Elsewhere, in the Forever fall Forest, Blake Belladonna and Bleu Belladonna both siting on a rock outcrop watching red leaves drift down in the Forest together.

Adam Taurus walks up to them.

Adam: "Blake, Bleu, it's time."

She slowly turns to Bleu, greatly concerned, than toward Adam.

Blake: "Okay."

The trio started running through the forest, with Bleu barely catching up with the other two.

Blake: "Adam, are we really doing this, alone?"

Adam: "The guards are just mindless drones. The Humans fear the White Fang too much to face us. You both aren't scared, are you?"

Bleu: "Well... This is my first mission together."

Blake: "Do you think I scare easily?"

Adam: "Hardly, I'm aware of your bravery."

Blake and Bleu doesn't response to Adam's complement, both wanting focus this mission. They've reach a cliff, and stopped by the edge of to see a train rushing through the forest along some tracks.

Adam: "That's the Schnee Dust Company's train. Just think about how mush dust is on board."

Bleu: "Alot, I can guess."

Adam, Blake, Bleu slide down the hill and jump onto the top of the train, digging their weapons into the roof as they land. Upon boarding it the three jump onto another car, Adam slashes at a hatch before lifting it as they enter a car full of AK-130 Androids.

Adam: "Well, this is going to get a little messy."

The Androids activate and circle the trio.

Blake: "Don't have too much fun." (looks to Bleu) "You sure you can handle this Bleu?"

Bleu: (Takes a deep breath) "There's a first time for everything."

An Android activates the guns on its arms.

Android: UNABLE TO COMFORM I.D. PLEASE STATE AFFILIATION AND PURPOSE.

Adam pulls the trigger on Blush, firing Wilt out of the sheath into the head of the robot. He then dashes forward, catching the sword mid-air before slashing the robot, cutting it clean from neck to under its left shoulder as Adam resheaths Wilt.

Adam: "We're Thieves."

The remaining robots switch their arms to a blade mode and begin charging at Adam, Blake, and Bleu. One ran up to Bleu, but quickly kept the two bladed arms back by Polaris Ursae in it's hatchet form. Testing each other's strength, but Bloo managed to push and toss of the robot, colliding with another. Bleu than suddenly had his axeblades engulfed in blue flames, than ran to leap upside down to their heads to soon both be decapitated.

Two come up behind Blake, but she jumps backwards and uses Gambol Shroud to split them both at the chest. She leaps forward to cover Adam's back as he slices at several advancing robots. Adam uses Blush to fire at the robots as Blake backflips to evade another robot.

They've cut down several more robots before one switches its arms into a minigun mode. It fires rapidly at Adam, Blake, and Bleu but Adam is able to deflect the bullets that get too close. After Adam sheathes Wilt, Blake charges towards the robot and it resumes firing. She is able to deflect the bullets and gets close enough to decapitate the robot. She immediately slices down another robot and cuts off another's legs. She rapidly unsheathes Gambol Shroud to begin dual wielding the sheath and the katana before striking another robot, then leaps into the air and slams it into the floor.

Blake and Bleu charges towards the remaining robots and begins cutting them down rapidly, slicing off one's arm and shoving her sword through another, while Bleu hacking and slicing through some as well with his heated axeblades. Blake reaches the last robot in the train car, knocks it into the air, then proceeds to slice it several times before landing on the floor. The robot is still in the air when Adam leaps up and kicks the robot out the door of that train car and onto the flatcar ahead.

Back to Weiss Schnee, who is on her knees, alone in a snowy courtyard, facing an ornate fountain that features the Schnee snowflake. The full moon remains broken, snow gently falling down, and a practically cloudless sky... Winter is not pleased as she's approaching her sister.

Winter: "Your Aura can only shield you from once or twice direct attacks at the most. When your Aura is gone another attack will finish you. Those without power will return to dust. That is the law of this world."

Winter leaves Weiss after saying this to her. This was Weiss's memory as a drop of blood falls to the floor of the Schnee Training room, as Weiss still assumes her combat stance. The Armas Gigas proceeds to charge at Weiss, she quickly changes to another slot on Myrtenaster's revolver and stabs the blade into the ground, which sends a wave of ice forward. This freezes one of the Grimm's feet in place, immobilizing it. Weiss than turns the revolver to the red Dust and releases the Dust onto her rapier's blade. The Arma Gigas swinged his sword at her, only for Weiss to quickly jump and landed onto the flat side of the sword, with Weiss now charging towards it's hand. Klein was barly able to dodge the sword, which stuck at a wall with the Arma Giga's hand still held onto.

The Arma Giga become now furious and start to charge at Weiss once more. Only Weiss had created a glyph on the ground, as the Arma Gigas, stepped onto it, and causes the glyph on the ground to explode, launching her foe into the air. Weiss then sends six beams of blue energy at the Grimm, locking it in midair. With one final glyph-augmented leap into the air, Myrtenaster glows with white markings along its blade and Weiss creates yet another glyph, which she uses to dash at the Arma Gigas, cutting right through it. As the Grimm falls through the air, some sort of white energy is emitted from its joints and helm. Weiss lands in a crouch, but stands up as the suit of armor hits the ground and shatters into ice shards.

Klein: "Miss Schnee, you passed, I knew you do it!"

Weiss stood back up and looked at her father.

Weiss: "So Father? Now that I've finished this foolish test, will you let me go to Beacon?"

Jacque was furious and snarled to see that Weiss had succeeded in her final test. Winter turns to him.

Winter: "Well Father?"

Jacque: "Have it your way!"

Jacque than walked away, while Whitley just grinned. Weiss turned Klein, and smiled and she than basked in the bright sunshine from one of the windows. She relieved and happy to be have been strong enough to go to soon go to Vale.

Onboard the Schnee Dust Company train, A number of other robots run towards them from the other end of the flatcar.

Adam hits a couple of robots up into the air, Blake and Bloo leaps up towards them to slice them up, and Adam partly unsheathes Wilt to knock them away with the hilt. Blake switches Gambol Shroud to its kusarigama-pistol form, throws the sickle part past one of the robots, and pulls on the ribbon while using the pistol shot to launch the blade back towards her, cutting the robot in half. Bloo also switches Polaris Ursaeto it's Uzi-gun form, and started shooting down the robot of father distance, kicking some off the car, falling into trees.

Adam jumps forward and kicks the upper half of the robot away while it is falling as Blake swings her sickle around to cut down another robot. Blake jumps in the air and swings the sickle blade around in a spherical motion several times using its gunfire, cutting down three more robots and getting the sickle wrapped around the neck of a fourth. Adam leaps forward and slices the fourth robot as Blake fires off the pistol, pulling the robot's upper half into the air.

Rushing forward, Adam slices up six more robots, causing five of them to explode. Blake charges up from behind, cuts off the sixth robot's head, and then knocks another robot up into the air using Gambol Shroud's katana form. She lunges forward as Adam takes down another robot, using the kusarigama form of Gambol Shroud to perform a continuous pinwheel attack that launches two other robots into the air. Adam then fires a shot from Blush to send one of the robots flying back.

Adam jumps up and slices the other robot further up into the air as two robots approaching from behind are kicked into the air by Blake. The three robots are then sliced repeatedly by Wilt, keeping them in the air until Blake jumps up and slices through all three, with one going further up into the air with her. Blake kicks the robot down, while Adam slices another as it is falling then shoots it with Blush as it falls behind him, and the three enter into a second freight car.

Adam opens a box and examines the contents inside, seeing many vials containing blue dust.

Adam: "Perfect. Now we crash the train."

Bleu: "What?"

Blake: "But you said this is just a robbery. There are human engineers on board."

Adam: (examining the Dust) "Just human. Not Faunus like us."

Blake: (looking disheartened behind Adam, and look to Bleu) "Not like us..."

Bleu and Blake suddenly turns their heads around as they sees a Spider Droid climbing down from the ceiling of the car.

Bleu: "Guys?" (getting their attention)

Blake (anxiously): "Adam."

The Spider Droid swiftly attacks, using its quartet of cannons to shoot at Adam, who either deflects or dodges every shot, using Wilt and Blush. Blake then lunges forward, launching her own attack, only to be head-butted by the massive robot.

Bleu: "Blake!"

As the Spider Droid advances upon her, Adam and Bleu suddenly unleashes a flurry of blows, each only momentarily stunning his enemy. When they've finishes their attacks, Adam takes a moment to glance over his shoulder at Blake. The Droid then kicks Adam away, distracts him with a barrage of cannon fire before moving to crush Blake beneath one of its massive feet. However, Bleu quickly moves in, grabbing Blake and fleeing to the other end of the car. After he sets her down,

Blake: "We need to get out of here!"

Bleu: "I second that motion!"

The Droid quickly combines its cannons to unleash a massive energy barrage, which sends the trio crashing through a metal bulkhead, and out onto a flatbed car. the Droid begins to close the gap between the three.

Adam: "Blake, Bleu, Buy me some time!"

Blake: "But That's- Are you sure?"

Adam: "I just need a second. Do it!"

As Blake and Bleu rushes the Spider, while Blake more ahead than her brother, it continuously launches barrages of energy at her, which she swiftly dodges. She then uses Gambol Shroud to divert one cannon, while embedding the blade into the thick armor, allowing her to launch herself far into the air, before swiftly coming back down with two furious slashes from her weapon. She then equips both the sheath and katana form of Gambol, as Bleu manages to finally reach Blake before they've start attacking two leg joints and the head in rapid succession, forcing the Spider Droid to stumble. This gives Blake an opportunity to slam her katana into and through the base of the Droid's skull and rapidly open fire, causing no effects other than slight disorientation.

As Blake and Bleu regroups with Adam, the Droid combines its cannons again.

Adam: "Move!"

Just in time for the barrage to be launched at Adam, who absorbs all of the energy fired at him using his weapon's blade. Adam laughs as his body's red colorings glow intensely, along with a sinister laugh. The Droid leaps at Adam, and when it comes mere inches from impact, Adam unleashes all of his energy in one blow, causing the Spider to slowly recoil and disintegrate.

The droid fires a powerful beam. Adam catches the beam with Wilt. As his body starts to glow, the droid jumps toward him. Adam chuckles then slashes out with his sword, disintegrating the droid and even affecting the trees in the Red Forest causing their leaves to fly into the air.

As Adam walks back towards Blake and Bleu, he finds them both on a separate train car standing near the coupler between the cars. As he reaches out to her...

Blake: "Adam, Goodbye."

She severs the coupler and lets the released cars slow down as she lets the rest of the train continue en-route, as they leave.

Adam: "Blake! You both betraying the White Fang? Betraying me?"

Blake: ""I'm sorry, We have to find our own path."

Bleu: "Adam. It's important that White Fang... ...Not lower itself to bloodshed."

As the train was getting farther and farther away from Adam and released cars, disappearing from their sights now.

Bleu: "Blake... I'm so sorry that-"

Blake: (Blake suddenly hugged him tightly, trying to hold back her tears) "I was scared, Bleu. So scared. Scared of what Adam was becoming. You getting hurt. Leaving him and White Fang. What Adam would have done next. But you were so brave. To come all this way for me. Staying with me. Even leaving White Fang with me."

Bleu: (surprised, but hugged her back): "Yeah, well... I just could never see through Sienna's and Adam's lends, but you... I just... Didn't want to lose to that path, they've took. You're my big sister. No matter what. But right now, there's no going back to those ways anymore. So why not start this new path together, and see where it'll take us both!"

Blake: (looking at her brother, she wipes a tear from her eye, nodding) "Of course... Baby brother."

Blake and Bleu soon both throws out their White Fang flags as a sign that they are no longer part of the organization.

Later as the released cars finally comes to a complete halt, more members of the White Fang start to appear, some running on the top of the cars, rendezvousing with Adam.

White Fang Soldier: "Should we go after them?"

Adam: "There's no need. Once they see more about the world, She'll realize that we're in the right."

Hours has passed, and was soon nightfall. Somewhere outside the kingdom of Vale, a small farmland was mostly demolished by several huge grizzly bear-like Grimms Ursa Minors. However high in some trees, Blake Belladonna easily swing through tree to tree, with Gambol Shroud in its Kama form with a ribbon, making it grappling hook, while carrying her backpack. Bleu on the other hand, was able to leap from branch to branch, thanks to his climbing and jumping skills he'd trained in his past. Blake soon noticed and finds an abandoned wooden house, while in disrepair, was still standing good enough for a temporary shelter. Blake and Bleu also saw an opening on top of the roof, and both went inside the attic to rest for after traveling through Forever Fall Forest. As Blake set her backpack and opened it to take out some apples to eat, her scroll suddenly ringed. She took it to soon see in shock, an Notice of Acceptance into Beacon Academy.

Blake: "Notice of Acceptance... Now I... now I can take a different path."

Tears of joy started to appear in Blake's eyes.

Bleu: "Really Blake? That's fantastic!"

With great excitement, as he and Blake share a hug together. Blake soon wiped away her tears, but realised something.

Blake: "But... Bleu, what about you? You're still a year away to join, and Menagerie is too far away and dangerous to go alone."

Bleu: "Hm, good point." (pondering what to now) "Well... what about your contact at Vale, it was Tukson right? maybe he could help?"

Blake: (having a deep thought and meditating their next move, till turning to Bleu) "We are very close to the kingdom walls." (Picking up her backpack, toss an apple to Bleu, and had a quick bite of her's) "Once we finally arrive in Vale, we'll need to find and look out for Tukson's Book Trade, before it closes.

Bleu: "Of course would be a bookstore." (said sarcastically)

Blake: (smiling at Bleu's humor) "Come on, we've rested enough, and an Ursa might eventually tear the rest of this farm down."

Blake and Bleu stepped back outside back to the roof top and both leaped onto another tree, both of them hidden in branches and leaves. An Ursa was strolling by near the abandoned house.

Bleu: "It's too bad this place got destroyed, it seemed nice enough, and was close to the kingdom too."

Blake: "It could be possible that bandits raided here instead of the creatures of Grimm, Bleu, remember, some humans can be as much dangerous as Grimm are." (Taking out a blue beanie and giving it to Bleu) "That's why we need to hide in plain sight." (she wiggles her cat ears beneath the fashionable disguise to demonstrate)

Bleu: (chuckled, before putting on his new beanie) "Your ears still always makes me chuckle, even when I was a young cub."

Blake and Bleu share a smile, and quickly embarked on their almost completed journey towards the kingdom of Vale.

Bleu: "Do you really think humans can be that dangerous?" (asked as they we're leaping tree to tree)

Several moments later, Yang Xiao Long is shown riding her motorcycle through the streets of Vale, driving pass Blake and Bleu, as they we're both walking into Tukson's Book Trade. Yang eventually stops in front of a club that is blasting music. As she walks through the club, she sees Roman Torchwick ending a conversation with Junior. She makes her way to the bar where Junior stands.

Yang: "Strawberry Sunrise. No ice. Oh, and one of those little umbrellas."

Junior: "Aren't you a little young to be in this club, Blondie?"

Yang (giggles): "Aren't you a little old to have a name like Junior?"

Junior: "So you know who I am. You got a name, sweetheart?"

Yang: "Yes, Junior, I've got several. But instead of sweetheart, you can just call me sir."

She brings her scroll up to his face, showing him a picture.

Yang: "People say you know everything. Tell me where I can find her."

Junior: "I've never seen her before."

Yang than playfully flicks to the next picture on her scroll, which just happens to be a picture that she took coming in him and Roman having a conversation.

Yang: "Well you better know, or I'll be more than happy to let this slip to the police and media, if I don't get the answers I want."

Suddenly, Junior's henchmen begin to gather around.

Yang: "Hmm, looks like we have an audience."

Junior "Listen, blondie. If you want to make it out of this club alive, I suggest you let me keep that scroll of yours."

As of the henchmen attempted to take Yang's phone, while she seemed distracted, only Yang caught him off guard instead and grabbed him by tossed him over the bar counter, breaking a few bottles.

Junior: You'll pay for that! Empty this club now! Clear this room with no witnesses!"

He puts on his sunglasses and walks away from her. Yang follows closely behind, as the henchmen start to close in on Yang.

Yang: "Oh Junior, I was just playing with you! Don't be so sensitive! Come on, lets kiss and make up, okay?"

Junior stops and turns around.

Junior: "Huh? Uh, okay."

As he leans in, she punches him in the face sending him flying across the room. Junior was now unconscious, especially when a huge glass bottle fell on top of his head. The surrounding henchmen respond by charging at Yang, who deploys Ember Celica and jumps up into the air only to slam a fiery punch into the ground, sending a ripple through the dance floor, knocking the incoming henchmen off their feet.

As the henchmen get up, Yang charges at one, jumping into the air and performing a somersault kick on her first opponent. She then turns around and uppercuts a second one, following it up with a spinning kick that sends another two tumbling away.

As the rest charge at her, Yang shoots at the first one in front of her and kicks behind her at another. Another henchman swings at her from behind, but she sweeps his legs out from under him and punches him up into the air, only to slam him into the ground. She then takes a couple steps toward an oncoming henchman to jump up and launch herself off of him, allowing her to deliver a flying punch to another henchman. This is quickly followed by her rushing forward as she defeats yet another nearby opponent. As the fallen henchman collapses, he lands on the henchman behind him, sending him stumbling back. He attempts to block the oncoming punch from Yang, but to no avail, as Yang simply breaks straight through her opponent's guard before delivering an uppercut.

She then notices several more assailants approaching from behind and fires a shot, using the recoil to send her flying towards yet another group of enemies. She elbows the first henchman and kicks him away while another attempts to swing at her, but is promptly blocked and shot in the face. Yang then swings around under his arm and punches him once more. This is followed by another spin as she kicks, punches, and kicks him again, with the final hit sending him flying backwards through a glass pillar.

Yang turns around to see the final henchman charge and swing at her. She promptly blocks the blow and punches his chin, stunning him and allowing her to follow up with a flurry of blows that conclude with an uppercut that launches him into the air. Yang then delivers a final punch that sends him flying back.

Upon clearing the dance floor, she spots the DJ pulling out a machine gun before firing down at her from his booth. Yang charges towards the booth, dashing from side to side in order to avoid the incoming fire. Once close enough, she jumps up, firing her shotgun-gauntlets at the floor for additional propulsion. As she lands, she places a hand on the mixing desk before swinging her legs around, kicking the DJ in the face. This sends him stumbling back. Yang then spins and lands with her back facing him, only to fire once more to send her elbow into his face. She then slams his face into the table, picks him up, and launches him off by firing. He lands at Melanie and Miltia Malachite's feet, unconscious, with his "helmet" rolling away.

Miltia: "Melanie, who is this girl?"

Melanie: "I dunno Miltia but we should teach her a lesson."

Yang loads another belt of ammunition into Ember Celica, tossing them in the air and landed perfectly into her gauntlet gun chambers. Yang jumps from the podium, unleashing a barrage of shell-shots in mid-air at the Malachite Sisters, which they evade by backflipping away. After recomposing, the sisters charge at Yang as she lands on the dance floor, continuing her barrage. As the sisters split to opposing sides, with Yang focusing her barrage on Melanie, they begin their counterattack, with Melanie dodging and deflecting Yang's bullets while Miltia takes a swipe at Yang from behind.

Ducking to avoid Miltia's strike at the last second, Yang turns and fires at her, only to have Miltia jump to avoid it as Melanie lands behind Yang and retaliates with a heel-kick. Yang blocks the kick with her gauntlets forcing herself back a distance away from the sisters.

Yang quickly grounds herself and fires a round at them, which Melanie deflects with a frontflip heel-kick off into a pillar. Miltia quickly closes in on Yang and delivers a couple of swipes that Yang defends against, only to have Melanie follow up with a series of jump-kicks while Yang is off-balanced. Blocking each attack, Yang quickly fires a round in response, which Melanie ducks to avoid. Miltia swoops in with a downwards swipe while Melanie sweeps Yang's right leg and finishes with a series of kicks that make contact, launching Yang across the stage.

Yang rolls and quickly regains her footing, firing both gauntlets to propel her back across the stage and landing a hard right punch onto Melanie's face, knocking her down. While Melanie lies stunned on the floor, Yang confronts Miltia in close-range melee combat, with Yang firing rounds with each punch thrown and Miltia defending with her claws. However, Yang overwhelms her with a low kick, a series of boosted body shots, and a final round from Ember Celica, blasting Miltia off the stage.

Melanie finally recovers from Yang's punch just in time to see her sister get flung into a pillar overhead. Yang confronts her by firing off a round at close-range, which Melanie again avoids by backflipping. After avoiding another round into the ground, Melanie retaliates with an upward leg swipe before kicking a third round point-blank in order to deflect it. Both Yang and Melanie resort to close-range melee combat, with Yang throwing boosted punches and blocking with her gauntlets while Melanie kicks and swipes as she defends with the blades of her boots. A hard side-kick pushes Yang away as each take a second of reprieve before Melanie closes in on Yang.

Feinting with her boots to keep Yang off-balanced, Melanie shifts herself along the stage, forcing Yang to back-step continuously. This leaves Yang unable to ground herself while defending against Melanie's feints and kicks. A longer series of kicks from Melanie allows Yang to finally ground herself, spin to dodge Melanie's last kick while retracting Ember Celica, and land a body blow with her left elbow. Yang quickly grabs Melanie's right arm and uses it to twist and spin the rest of Melanie's body, using the built-up momentum to land a final devastating jump-kick to Melanie's face.

The holograms in the club suddenly turn off and a spotlight shines on Junior as he brings out his Bazooka.

Junior: "You're gonna pay for this."

Junior fires off a stream of rockets from his weapon's bazooka form, and Yang backflips and siderolls to dodge several. Upon righting herself, Yang then destroys several more incoming rockets with well-placed shots from Ember Celica.

Advancing, Junior changes his weapon to its bat form and strikes at Yang multiple times, with the latter managing to defend and block all but one, causing her to recoil and stumble. This gives Junior an opening to hit her in the face, sending her flying backwards into a glass structure.

Yang pushes herself to her feet, her hair ablaze and shining gold. She then slams her fists together, creating a minor shockwave, before dashing forward. Junior arms his rocket launcher and starts firing wildly, each shot missing as Yang sidesteps and evades them. She quickly closes the gap between them, dodging a strike from Junior before laying into him, landing seven punches, each amplified by her weaponry. The final punch sends Junior flying back, his weapon broken in two, one piece of it in one hand, a lock of Yang's hair in the other.

The sight enrages Yang, who promptly engulfs herself in a huge explosion of fire, which shatters the dance floor. She then charges Junior at a rapid speed, landing one final blow square in the jaw, which sends him flying through a window into the street, incapacitated, ending the fight. He flies out the window, landing in front of Tai Xiao Long and the family corgi Zwei. Yang comes outside shortly after.

Tai: "Yang? Is that you?"

Yang: "Dad?"

Tai: (arms crossed, with an upset look) "What are you doing here?"

Yang sighs.

Yang: (Sighs) "It's a long story."

Elsewhere, Ruby was walking along the sidewalk of Vale. with her hood up and her headphones, while enjoying the sights in the city.

Ruby: "I forgot how big the city of Vale is! It's way more fun than Patch Island. (rocking out in front of a T.V. setup showing Black Rock Shooter.) They've got the best music, (sitting in a café, sipping a cup of tea) oh and the cafés and (struggling to hold onto an standard battle-axe in a weapons store) and the weapons! I don't know how I'm gonna see it all. Oh, and I still have get a gift for Yang, too? Oh"

Ruby soon noticed a Dust shop called From Dust Till Dawn.

Ruby: "The Dust shop still open!"

Ruby walked into the shop, and had a look around the store, showing an assortment of glass jars, containers and boxes, likely meant for containing Dust. They also offer magazines and a newspaper called "Vale Times". Ruby was very happy to have noticed one of the magazines.

Ruby: "The next issue of Weapon Magazine! Oh this is the coolest!" (picks up and reads the magazine) "Patch Island doesn't have this yet. Vale really does have everything, huh?"

Bleu soon walked into the shop also. He was checking out the Dust crystals in the display.

Bleu: "Man, I didn't think I had to doing work for Tukson if it meant staying here in Vale, oh well, It'll be nice to find something for Blake here, she could never get enough Dust for Gambol Shroud."

As he was choosing which crystal to buy, Bleu also glanced at the young girl wearing a hooded red cloak in the corner of the shop, reading the weapons magazine.

Inside of an hotel, Yang was reading her notice of acceptance to Beacon.

Yang: "We are delighted to accept you into our school." (walking into the next room) "Hey Dad, did Ruby come home yet?"

Tai: "Nope, Not yet."

Yang: "It's not like her to be gone for so long, that's weird."

Tai: "Rumor has it, she's secretly buying you a going-away present, Yang."

Yang: "Dad! Why would you tell me that, I've been trying to play dumb."

Tai: "I like presents! It's gonna be alot harder to regard as a family after you're gone.

Yang: (petting Zwei) "I really hope Ruby will be okay without me around. She tends to get caught in her own little world sometimes, you know?."

Tai: "A little independence will do her good. I love that you two support each other, but she can't rely on you for everything, you know?"

Yang: "I know, I know, you're right Dad."

Tai: (looking at the clock saying 18:05) "Like being on time for instance."

Roman Torchwick and four of his henchmen head down an alley from the shadows. They stop behind Roman, who reignites his cigar without touching it and grins before walking down the road, as they make their way towards the shop; From Dust Till Dawn.

Roman and his henchmen enter the shop, just as Bleu was about to purchase the Dust crystals he'd chose.

Shopkeeper: "Yes?-"

Roman pushes the young buyer out of his way and approaches the elderly shopkeeper.

Bleu: "Hey!"

Roman: (flicking his cigar) "Do you have any idea how hard it is... to find a Dust shop open this late?"

One of the henchman points his gun at the shopkeeper, forcing the shopkeeper and Bleu to rise his hands and frightening nearby citizens to run out of the store.

Shopkeeper: (raising his hands) "P-please! Just take my Lien and leave!"

Roman: "Shhh, shhh, shhh, shhh, calm down, we're not here for your money. (to the henchmen) Help yourselves and grab the Dust."

A henchman opens a case and removes one of several cylinders, which the group uses to take Dust from the tube containers on the walls.

Henchman 1: (placing another open case on the display to the shopkeeper) "Crystals. Burn. Uncut."

Another henchman noticed of Bleu's hands was holding onto a container of Dust he was going to buy.

Henchman 3: "Quite the Dust you got there, now be a good boy and hand it over."

The Henchman grab hold of the Young man's wrist, trying to take his Dust off him.

The shopkeeper proceeds to fill the case.

Ruby (reading): "The first stage of a weapon's transformation should combine both offensive and defensive strategies." "Yeah Totally!"

As another henchman goes for another tube, he hears the muted This Will Be the Day song from the girl's direction, and unsheathes his sword.

Henchman 2: (pointing his sword at her back) "Alright kid, Hands up! (no response) Hey, I said hands in the air! You got a death wish or something!?"

He goes over to her and turns her around, the hood dropping to reveal a surprised Ruby Rose wearing headphones. He motions for her to lower them.

Ruby: (doing so) "Yes? Can I help you?"

Henchman 2: "I said, put your hands in the air, now!"

Ruby: "Are you... robbing me?"

Henchman 2: "Yeah!"

Ruby: "Ooohhh..."

Roman is waiting for his men to finish the heist when a "Hey!" and "Hyah!" are heard, and the threatening henchman flies past him. Roman calmly motions for another to handle Ruby.

The Henchman holding Bleu's wrist was caught off guard for that moment, after both watching what Ruby just did.

Bleu: "Oh! I like her, anyway..."

Not letting this window of opportunity pass, as the henchman had his hand on Bleu's wrist. Bleu started to use his semblance; as his aura gives off a bluish glow and started to glow brightly, Bleu's aura started burning the henchman's hand, which he'd quickly let go waving and cooling down his hand.

Henchman 3: "Ouch, you bast-"

The henchman's words we're cut short, as he's in shock to see Bleu was now growing in a semi-berserker state; cracking his knuckles and punched the goon strong enough for him to crash through one of the store's window.

Henchman 1: "You punk!" (raising his gun at them both) "Freeze!"

Ruby than suddenly dash with an inhuman speed in, leaving trails of rose petals in her wake, passing through the henchmen and Roman, Bleu follows after Ruby.

Roman: "Wow, a Semblance. (sarcastically) Is she a Beacon Academy student?"

Ruby crash through the window. Bleu jumped out the window, quickly runs outside to be at Ruby's side. The other men look outside as Ruby gets up and unfolds Crescent Rose into its scythe form. Bleu soon also takes out Polaris Ursae in it's Hatchet form. Ruby twirling the weapon around, striking it into the ground and turning off her headphones.

The henchmen head out of the shop and run at Ruby, who spins around on top of her scythe and kicks the first approaching criminal in the face. She gets Crescent Rose out of the ground and fires it off to hit another one with the butt of her weapon, sending him flying.

While Bleu was resisting another henchman's gunfire, he was close enough get a swing with Polaris Ursae, extending to reach and slashing at the Henchman's arm, dropping his gun and spins around, using the other handaxe to trip the attacker down to the ground.

She fires again and brings the side down on one attacker and dodges the next's gunfire with her rifle's speed, getting close enough to knock him into the air and follow him upwards so she can beat him away to Roman's feet.

Roman: "You were worth every cent. Truly, you were." (to Ruby and Bloo, dropping his cigar and crushing it with his cane as approaching police sirens are heard) "Well, Red, Blue, I think we can all say it's been an eventful evening, and as much as I'd love to stick around..." (raises his cane and opens the bottom to reveal a rifle with a cross grid) ...I'm afraid this is where we part ways."

Roman unleashes a purple blast at Ruby and Bleu, a purple smoke bomb explodes, and Ruby and Bloo are both coughing. As the smoke starts to clear up, Roman isn't there,

Ruby looked around to spot Roman, and his Melodic Cudgel's hook to climb up a nearby building.

Ruby: (to the onlooking shopkeeper) "You okay if I go after him?"

The shopkeeper gives a short "Uh huh", and Ruby sets off, with Bleu running after her.

Roman makes it to the roof, with Ruby high-flying again and landing right behind him.

Ruby: "You won't get away!" You Thief!"

Roman turns to see Ruby yet again, along with a now-tried out Bleu, who's now panting from keeping up with Ruby.

Ruby readies to fight him, but a getaway Bullhead rises up blinding Ruby and Bleu with it's spotlights and opens the hatch to allow Roman inside.

Roman: (turning around and holding up a red Dust canister) "Persistent..."

He throws it out at her feet and fires at the canister, resulting in a large explosion.

Yang, Tai, and Zwei, meanwhile we're all hurrying down the streets come looking for Ruby. Zwei was snuffing around for her, and soon caught a scent, and ran after it.

Tai: "She's close!"

Yang: "Ruby, where have you wandered off to?"

While Blake was also searching for Bleu, parkouring rooftop to rooftop and surveying from up high. only for all of them to noticed several victims lying on the ground outside the Dust Shop, two officers we're talking to the shopkeeper, and Zwei barking at the crooks.

Tai: "What's going on?"

Yang: "What in the world did you do this time?"

Blake: "Bleu, did you do this?"

Suddenly all of them soon heard and saw the explosion created by Roman. A woman in a purple cape is now in front of Ruby and Bleu, casting a circle of protection over them with her wand. As Ruby and Bleu looks on, Glynda Goodwitch waves her weapon and summons several streaks of purple at the craft. Roman is thrown around in the back until he goes to the cockpit, where a woman in red, her face unseen, is struggling with the controls.

Roman: "We got a Huntress! Let's beat it!"

The woman gets up and heads toward the back as Roman takes the controls.

Glynda glows purple for a moment and aims another blast above the craft, resulting in a dark storm-cloud right over the jet.

Roman: "The hell...?"

With a flick of her wand, large jagged hail starts falling that pummels the jet and even breaks through the window, narrowly missing Roman's head.

The woman reaches the back and her arms and chest light up like fire, aiming a burst of energy at Glynda. The Huntress blocks it, but the flame splatters behind her and glows hot with the enemy's raised hand. Glynda back-flips out of the explosion, which destroys part of the roof, and magically gathers the shards to create a large arrow, which she throws at the craft. The fiery woman shatters the arrow with several blasts, but it reforms just in time to hit the side of the jet due to Roman's quick aerial lean. The wreckage separates and reshapes into more arrows that encircle the jet, but the woman summons several glowing rings around herself that expand and destroy the shards.

Ruby, finally acting, reverts her scythe into its rifle form and Bleu reverts his hatchets into Uzi forms to both fire at the woman, who blocks each shot and creates several blazing circles around her three opponents. Glynda telekinetically pushes Ruby, Bleu, and rolls herself out of the explosion's radius; looking up to see the hatch close and the craft fly away.

Ruby: "Oh Hi" (looking at Glynda) "You're a real Huntress!" (putting on a pleading, awe-stricken face) "Can I have your autograph?!"

The scene cuts the police station and to Ruby's amazed face turn to one of shame as Glynda, with a tablet computer, paces around the table Ruby and Bleu is seated at, right underneath a bright light in the otherwise dark interrogation room.

Glynda: "Did you both not stop to think about how your actions put others in great danger? And on top of that, was your Auras even strong enough to stop all the attacks?"

Bleu: "Well mine is..."

Glynda demonstrates with her riding crop, which Bleu barely avoids as he gives out an "Eeek!"

Ruby: "Well uh... no."

At the front office of the police station, a man in green steps inside, and the officers salute to him.

Chief: "Oh sir, Professor Ozpin!"

Ozpin: "Just stopping by for a quick visit."

Yang, her father, and Zwei we're at the waiting room for Ruby, while Blake was sitting on a different couch away from Yang and Tai.

Ozpin: "Good evening, Tai."

Tai: (Standing up) "Professor! Uh..."

Ozpin: "Don't worry." "I merely wish to speak with your daughter and the boy a little while." (walking pass Blake and Yang)

Yang: (standing up next to her dad) "Uh, is that who I think it is?"

Tai: "Yep." "That the head of Beacon Academy."

Demonstrating with Glynda's riding crop again, which Ruby gives out an "Eeek! and Bloo gave out another small "Eep!"

Glynda: "There is someone here who would like to meet you both."

Glynda moves out of the way so a surprised Ruby and Bleu can see Ozpin, holding a mug and a plate of cookies, placing them down on the table and sitting down.

Ozpin: "Ah" "Miss Ruby Rose..." "Bleu Belladonna..." (leans in to look at Ruby's face) "Silver eyes, just like your mother's."

Ruby: "Wait, how did you..."

Ozpin: "Do you know who I am, Ruby?"

Ruby: "Uh I think, you're Professor Ozpin, the headmaster at Beacon Academy."

Bloo: "Wha?!" (shocked)

Ozpin: "Nice to meet you both. Now, I have a question for you two." "Miss Rose, Mister Belladonna, do you want to attend my school, both one and two years earlier?"

Ruby & Bloo: "Huh?"

Outside the interrogation room, Yang is delighted to know that she can attend school with her little sister.

Yang: "You're coming with me? I can't believe it!" (giving her sister a bear hug)

Ruby: "Yeah. Professor Ozpin said he'd let me skip ahead to get in."

Yang: "Amazing! Now I can go to Beacon together!"

Ruby: "Oh! Where did Bleu go? I wanted him to meet you."

Yang: "Bleu?"

While Ozpin and Taiyang we're standing outside of the police station. Glynda was informing Blake of Bleu's enrollment.

Ozpin: "She's gifted, Taiyang, she reminds me of you and the rest of team STRQ."

Tai: "She's still just a child, though."

Ozpin: "All birds eventually leave the nest."

Tai: "Yeah, yeah, I know, I just never thought they leave together."

Blake than started dragging Bleu back to Tukson's by the ear.

Bleu: "I was just looking for present for for Blake, and than some guy named Roman showed up, and things... just got out of hand."

Blake: "You could have still got seriously hurt, Bleu, I was so worried for you"

Bleu: "I'm sorry, Blake, I couldn't even find something for you too."

Blake stopped for moment. Turning to her brother, with small tears in her eyes.

Blake: "Just knowing that enroll together, is a great gift for me, Bleu."

Blake than gave Bleu a tight hug, relived and happy for Bleu's safety and acceptance of skipping a grade to Beacon.

Bleu: "You're Welcome."

At the front of the Schnee Manor, Weiss was standing by the gates, with Klein seeing her off for her departure.

Klein: "Your remaining luggage has been sent to Beacon, Miss Schnee."

Weiss: "Thank you Klein, I'd better go."

Klein: "Would you wait just a little bit longer?"

Weiss: "Looks like Winter was... too busy to come, and of course, Father and Whitley couldn't be bothered to see me off. But... I'm really happy that you came to say goodbye to me, Klein. Thank you so much for everything."

Klein: "Please do take care of yourself, Miss Schnee. I am certain you will become a fine huntress, remember who you are and will carry on the legacy of Master Nicholas. I believe in you."

Weiss smiled happily from Klein's words of encouragement, and make her way to Beacon with her luggage.

Ruby was placing a bouquet of flowers on her mother's grave.

Ruby: "It's time for me to go, Mom."

Finally, the day comes as young students we're now at a docking bay of the Airship station, steeping inside the cabin of the airship. Blake and Bloo we're in a hurry to get onboard, but we're able to make in time.

Blake: "Phew! We've made it!"

Bloo: "Yeah we did!"

They've both noticed their reflections from the window, and both smiled for how much they've accomplished so far. As Weiss was pushing along her stacks of luggage inside the cabin.

Weiss: "Phew... Pushing my own luggage?"

Weiss soon looked at her refection also, and smiled for her accomplishments too. Elsewhere Ruby and Yang we're saying their goodbyes to Tai and Zwei at the docking bay.

Ruby: "Thanks, Dad! Okay! For you and Mom and Uncle Qrow, I'll try my hardest... Not much time for friends though. But I can't wait! I'll be as good as the best Huntsmen and Huntresses ever! I've dreamed about this my whole life!"

Tai: "haha, That's the spirit. But remember, you don't have to overdo it to be the best. I'm your dad, and I'm proud of you just the way you are. You got it?

Yang: "We know, Dad! We should really get going."

Tai: "Okay, Write to me, Yeah?"

Ruby: "Hm." (nodding "yes")

Yang: "See you later!"

Zwei barks as the airship flies up high. Tai watches the airship leave as well. For soon many new students like Pyrrha Niko, Lie Rin, Nora Valkyrie, an Air-sick Jaune Arc, Blake, Bloo, Weiss, Yang, and Ruby will starting their first semester at Beacon Academy to learn of becoming Huntsmen and Huntresses.

But even the most brilliant lights

will eventfully flicker and die.

And when they are gone...

darkness will return.

So you may prepare your guardians

of the light, but take heed.

There will be no victory in strength.

...

But perhaps victory is in the simpler things.

That you've long forgotten...

Things that require a smaller, more honest soul.

I'm sorry for not working on Chapter 2 some more, but sadly after working on Chapter 2, a glitch took away the views for a long time, and made me lose my attachment to typing. Than after seeing the Dub and how different the lines are from the original, I just had to change a few things around. Chapter 2 will be set around Beacon and ending at the launching to Emerald Forest, and Chapter 3 will be set fulling in the Emerald forest and the Beacon Academy Initiation.

I'd also considered changing Bloo's name for something more fitting to Blake's style of name, any thoughts on this change?

Anyway, I'm hoping to get Chapter 2: This is Beacon out on October.
