"Wow… I never knew someone could ever even have a place like this!" TJ said, amazed. "Hm yes well, when you have as much money or more as me, this and a lot more is possible." Ashley A replied.
"I miss Teej, that fun, goofball practically ditched us!" Spinelli said, rather upset. "Man recess just doesn't hit the same without him. I miss doing all those fun pranks.." Vince added.
"But you guys, we can sit here and complain all we'd like, but why don't we try and find out WHAT TJ has been up to." Gretchen suggested. "Gretchen's right. We're just sitting here complaining about where TJ has been, but why don't we just go and find out what's gone into him?" Mikey said.
"Alright that does it! Tomorrow, we'll follow close behind TJ. Stay close, and out of sight. We can't let him see that we're spying on him. 'Cause I'm sick of TJ's games right now! Whaddaya say guys? Ya in?" Spinelli said as she looked at the others. They all nodded in agreement. "Alright it's settled. We'll soon find out what Teej has been up to." Spinelli said once more.
"Wow! This mattress is so comfy! Oh I can definitely get used to this." TJ said as he laid on Ashley A's bed. Ashley A let out a small giggle. "You know what I could get used to?" She said as she climbed into her bed. "What's that?" TJ asked.
Ashley A then gave him a small kiss on his cheek. "That, and maybe a whole lot more." She said in a flirty tone. TJ could only blush as he returned the favor.
"Detweiler, there's something I wanna tell you, but I don't know how you'll take it since it may be out of the blue.." Ashley A started. "Well, what's up?
"Look.. I've been wanting to tell you for some time now.. that.. that.." TJ had a confused look on his face. "I.. I may sort of.. have a crush on you."
TJ was at first surprised, but he came to realize that he had also been eyeing her for a while now. "Y'know Ashley, I know this might sound crazy but.. I may have also had a thing for you."
"Wait, really?" She replied rather surprised. "Yeah.. I mean, there's just something about you that makes you… unique, y'know. You probably get it a lot or I don't know, but.. you're just so pretty!" TJ replied.
"Oh, why uh, thanks! But TJ, there's something more I'd like to ask.." Ashley A started. "I think I'll ask first. Ashley A, is there any chance, you'd maybe like.. to be my girlfriend?" TJ asked.
"I thought you'd never ask." She then gave a brief kiss. "Of course, I'd love to be your girlfriend! Only thing is here, we have to keep it a secret. We can't risk ANYONE knowing! Not even our closest friends can know about this."
"Especially that little snitch, Randall! If he were to know about this, who knows what would happen!" TJ said. Ashley A nodded. "Exactly, so we just keep on the down low, until we can make our new relationship public." TJ then nodded.
TJ then gave a small kiss on her forehead. "I love you, Ashley." Ashley A let out a small giggle. "I love you too Detweiler."
As the two gave a small kiss to each other, TJ's friends were all worried over what was happening with their friend.
"You think one of those powder puffs brainwashed him?" Spinelli said. "Possible but doubtful. While they have money, I don't think it's possible to do that. Although I might have a few theories in mind, but it's improbable." Gretchen said.
Spinelli was starting to worry now. Her very secretive crush was starting to slip away.
"Any of you guys know where he lives? Maybe we could ask his parents to see if they know where he is right now." Gus suggested. "Yeah.. that's a good idea. I wanna see what ol' Detweiler has for an excuse." Spinelli said as she made a fist.
"Come on Spin. You can't go that far either. This is TJ we're talking about! He couldn't do this to us, right?" Vince said. "How couldn't this possibly anger me?! The freakin' goofball hangs with us twenty-four/seven and now alluva sudden he decides to ditch us! What kind of friend you call that?!" Spinelli freaked out a little.
"Look, nothings gonna calm me down until we find out what's with TJ. And until I don't have an answer, I'll maybe get it myself!" Spinelli soon stomped away.
"Gosh. What could be enraging her this bad? I've never seen her this upset. Even worse when she's around the Ashleys or when they call her a girl." Mikey said. "Why do I get the feeling we may be missing out on something?" Vince said curiously.
"Not only that, but maybe she'll possibly pull something she may regret." Gretchen said.
As the four friends now had another worry in mind, what got into Spinelli that angered her?
