With no Malcolm Graham kill people and to kidnap Trixie, something else is needed to bring Amenadiel back… So, the Postscript is just one shot on how Amenadiel comes back.

Postscript one: The return of Amenadiel

Amenadiel was standing in his fathers office, head down, knowing he would have to face his brother. His father was at his desk, writing. "Another project that needs my attention," he had said. "You will have to deal with the other one."

"Father…"

"Anything more you want to know, son?"

"Is Samael… or…" Two months had past on Earth since Amenadiel returned to the Silver City.

"You may say Lucifer. That is what he prefers nowadays."

Amenadiel nodded. "Is Lucifer still working with that police detective, father?"

"Working?" His father smiled. "A kind of." He gestured to the wall on the left, a wall of white painted planks. The planks seemed to fade away. In the new created view Amenadiel saw a silvery fog in which a vision slowly appeared: a room in a house on Earth, the vague shapes four persons where laying on their belly on the floor around something small. When the picture had become sharper he recognized Lucifer and Maze and Chloe Decker. The fourth person was a small girl he didn't know. They were throwing with dices and doing things on a board in the middle on which 'Monopoly' was written.

Maze called the little human Trixie and apparently the girl was 'losing' and Maze was 'winning'. "Now you may read me the bedtime story," Trixie told Maze when the game seemed to be finished.

"As punishment for winning?" Maze asked.

"No, silly. As reward for winning," Trixie said while hugging Maze. After Trixie and Maze left, Amenadiel saw how Lucifer poured Chloe a drink.

"You should go now, son," his father said from his desk, without looking up.

"But he is with that human. I can't talk openly when she is around, father. I can better wait until she is gone later tonight."

"Then you can wait for a long time. Lucifer and Chloe sleep together for more than a month now. She knows what Lucifer and Maze are."

"Father! She knows?! A human? How can she touch him. Sleep with him! And she let a demon bring her daughter to bed?"

"All. She knows what you are too. She knows you brought Malcolm Graham back from hell. I advise you to think of her as a sister… Your sister-in-law. Go now. Talk with Lucifer and you will find Chloe is the first of a few women that will advice you."

Amenadiel was still in shock when he knocked on Chloe's door. Soon the door opened ajar, a chain keeping it from open fully.

"You?" It was Chloe that looked at him. "What are you doing here?"

"I need… to talk with Lucifer," Amenadiel answered.

"You think? I see no reason to let you in, since you will only yell he should go back to hell."

"I…" Amenadiel sighed. "I will not yell and I will not tell him what to do. I want… to apologize first."

Chloe stared at him, clearly not sure what to say. Then she shrugged, opened the door and said: "Come in."

Lucifer's reaction was the same as Chloe's: "You? What are you doing here?"

"I am told I have to apologize to you."

"For what?" Lucifer asked. "I prayed to you two months ago, asking to come, but you never reacted."

"I was in Silver City. Father had ordered me to come, so I could not come to Earth until father spoke with me," Amenadiel said.

"Of course you couldn't," Lucifer snapped. "Always daddy's boy. Never go against his orders."

"But I did go against his orders," Amenadiel had his eyes down, looking at the floor. "That is why I have to apologize."

"Sorry. Don't get it," Lucifer said. He emptied his glass and poured himself a new drink, without offering Amenadiel a drink. "Can you explain?"

"Father told me I did wrong. I should never have brought a soul from hell back to Earth. He told me I have to apologize to you for this."

"Ah." Lucifer zipped his glass and smiled. "I see. Apologies not accepted."

Amenadiel gave him an angry look, then shrugged. "I was only told to offer my apologies. And ask for your help."

"Ask for my help?" Lucifer laughed. "What makes dad think I would ever give any help."

"Mother did escape," Amenadiel said.

"Escape? What do you mean?"

"What do you think it mean, can mean?" Amenadiel asked. "She broke the seals from her cell and walked out. Disappeared. We don't know were she is."

"Well, you want my help? Go search for her. Free advise. Have fun and leave us alone."

"Your mother?" Chloe asked softly.

"Goddess of all creation," Lucifer said. "Mum and dad created space and time when they first time made love. And all the angels."

"And she escaped? From where?"

"From hell, detective. Dad created mankind, mum didn't like it and was angry. Mum tried to destroy mankind. Dad didn't like that and was angry. He locked her in a cell in hell," Lucifer explained.

"And what do you think she is up to, Lucifer Morningstar?" It was Maze leaning against the closed door of Trixie's room.

"Should I care?" Lucifer asked.

"She might try again to destroy all humans," Maze said. "That includes Decker and Trix, Lucifer."

Slowly Lucifer's eyes went around over Maze, Chloe and Amenadiel. "I see your point, but mum doesn't have her powers anymore."

"Enough to break the seals of her cell," Maze said. "They must have come back. At least parts of them." Amenadiel blinked his eyes by this unexpected assistance.

"Ok," Lucifer snapped. "That is a potential danger. Ok. Ok. What help do you need, Amenadiel?"

"I don't know," he said, taken by surprise by his brother giving in. "What should we do first?"

"We should find her first," Chloe said.

"We?" Lucifer said softly. "Detective, not you. Mum is dangerous."

"Can you guess where she might go?" Chloe asked, ignoring Lucifer's remark.

Lucifer and Amenadiel looked at each other and shrugged. Maze came closer. "She is a soul without a body," the demon woman explained. "Wandering around in hell doesn't bring her much. She will catch a human soul that just arrives in hell and possess it's dead body to move from hell to Earth."

"But that body is dead?" Chloe asked.

"She will heal it as far as she needs. You won't see a difference with other humans." Maze gave it a thought. "Apart that she will have no idea how the 21st century works."

"And it can be anywhere on Earth." Chloe frowned. "So we should look for someone that was dead but seems to come alive again? How much time does she need to possess that body?"

"Seconds, a minute," Maze said. "If someone is shot at this very moment in a dark street with no witnesses, she can move into the body, heal it and stand up before the killer has put away his gun."

Chloe opened her eyes wide. "How can we ever find her"

Lucifer and Maze shook their heads and Amenadiel joined them in that.

"Who knows your mom best?" Chloe asked.

"Raziel," Amenadiel said. "She is our youngest sibling and mother's baby-darling-angel."

"I hardly know her," Lucifer said. "She was not even three hundred when I had my problems with dad and was send to hell."

"If you wanted to upset Raziel," Amenadiel said. "You only had to tell her mum didn't like her. She then always started crying."

"You shouldn't do that to your youngest sister," Chloe said.

"Really, Amenadiel? I like that," Maze said at the same time.

"Maze!" Chloe snapped.

"Ok, ok." Maze raised her hands in surrender, but still grinned.

"Maybe you should ask that sister, Raziel, to come. Maybe she can figure out where your mother will go," Chloe said, still looking disapprovingly at Maze.

"Mother will not be happy on Earth," Raziel said thoughtfully. She took a zip from the bourbon Lucifer had given her. "She will want to go to heaven, but she will need the help from one of her children to go there."

"Mum will simply pray to one of you, most likely you," Lucifer said. Amemadiel nodded he glanced at the three woman sitting on Lucifer's sofa: Maze at the left, then Raziel and Chloe at the right.

Raziel shook her head. "Father is aware of every prayer directed to us, his children. Mother will try to contact one of us without father knowing."

"How?" Maze asked.

Raziel leaned back and so did Maze. The angel and the demon looked each other in the eyes, thinking.

"Which angel can she reach to when she is on Earth?" Raziel mused.

"Their is only one angel more or less permanent on Earth," Maze said.

"Of course," Raziel said turning to Lucifer. "Mother will know you're not in hell. She will come to you All we have to do is wait util she shows up here, in this… what is it called?"

"Penthouse," Chloe said.

"Amenadiel and I will stay out of sight, so mother is not alarmed by seeing us waiting for her. Do you have a place to stay on Earth, Amenadiel?"

Amenadiel was sitting on 'his own' sofa and looked around 'his own' apartment. Yesterday he had had just his office next to dr Linda Martin's office. Raziel had looked around for two seconds in that and decided they needed something better for the goddess. She had used Linda's phone – introducing herself as Lucifer's and Amenadiel's sister – to call Chloe and Maze and the four women – including Linda – had found this apartment. It had three bedrooms, was on the top floor of a high building and had a view over the ocean. They called it Amenadiel's apartment, although his brother Lucifer had payed for it. The four woman were in the kitchen discussing what more was needed. Lucifer was in front of him."

"Also a drink, big boy?" He held up a bottle of Scotch.

"Wiskey? No, thanks. I… I would like a cosmo?"

Lucifer raised his brows. "A woman's cocktail. Well. Not at the moment, but I tell the girls to put the ingredients on the shopping list."

"So, now?" Amenadiel asked.

"We leave. You and Raziel stay here until mum shows up. Then we call you to join us and from there it's up to you two to deal with mum."

"You not going to help me?"

"I'm sure you and Raziel can handle her. Well, I think Raziel can, so you only have to smile in the background. In the meanwhile you have television and Internet."

"I don't know what to do with that," Amenadiel muttered, while the four women entered the living room.

Soon after Linda, Maze, Chloe and Lucifer left, while Raziel turned on the laptop that was on the table. "Let me see what this Internet and Social Media are, what the humans have created," his sister said.
