"HAHAHAHAHA WHAT THE HELL KIND OF HOLY SWORD ARE YOU!? WHAT A MORON! YOU WERE FILED IN THE BOOK TOO HUH!?" Haughtily, Blackstar bellows beaming brightly smirking smugly down at Excalibur laughing at him.

"Hmph incorrect." Excalibur waves his staff at him.

"Huh?" Blackstar blurts out.

"One day a man holding the book of Eibon appeared and brought me here. I have always been someone without roots often described as a man who is like the wind so fickle that as soon as I find a new home I up and move all over again…maybe I am afraid of this new world? Doesn't anywhere I live become the capital? In my case wouldn't nay town I live in be bathed in my colour? It can't be helped but that's boring and so just as I was stuck in my usual cave wishing for a new land with my queen. But also thinking that it would be fine to stay in that usual cave forever." Fleetingly, Excalibur explains to the group all of them simply staring scowling at him.

"SO BASICALLY YOU WERE CAPTURED!" Fed up, Blackstar concludes.

"So you seek power?" Excalibur gathers.

"You're a real loudmouth all that blah blah what a long ass ex-" Enraged, Blackstar begins bitterly but…

"Why have you punks come here? Why have you come all the way here? How did you come here?" Sternly, Excalibur demands from the group cutting him off.

"Lady Ava brought us here." Tsubaki reveals.

"Ava? For her to come here she must have used quite some old magic…" Excalibur remarks.

"Idiot why the hell would you want your damn-" Blackstar seethes but…

"However I cannot lend it to you so easily." Excalibur cuts him off once more.

"You could at least listen when someone else is speaking." Sighing, Tsubaki tells him.

"So you're saying that something someone besides me has to say could have meaning? Fool." Firmly, Excalibur dismisses.

"Huh!? Enough we won't make any progress talking to someone like this! My anger's about to explode!" Fed up, Blackstar screeches.

"Indeed." Index agrees.

"Eibon used me as a model for the new of this table of contents don't we look alike?" Excalibur pokes Index with his cane.

"STOP GETTING IN MY WAY!" Blackstar screams.

"However why have I been placed in the wrath chapter? It's rude to call me the former king of drawing people's ire after all who brings people more joy than I do?" Excalibur ponders out loud.

"HEY WHAT'RE YOU DOING!" Blackstar demands.

"Excalibur! Excalibur!" Excalibur cheer singing a familiar song for the crowd before him while meanwhile…

"…How unsightly." Disgusted, Noah sneers scowling down at the book before him almost as if there were a stain in his book.

"You're noisy indeed it's absorbed how you've messed up the letters and such with your disturbance of the peace of this book. Maybe my form is brought of a gesture Eibon and to bring down your upturned nose." Index shares the same thought as his creator forming a face similar to both Blackstar.

"That's exactly it. I'm the origin of every literary work!" Happily, Excalibur declares.

"We've spent long enough in the wrath chapter thanks to Excalibur get us out of here TOC!" Tsubaki pleads begs the creature.

"Alright then distract him so he won't interfere." Index tells them.

"LEAVE IT TO US!" Determined, the others cheer as they dive at the holy sword but…

"Fools. I haven't the time to play with you louts." Easily, Excalibur dodges said lunges at him.

"You're the one bothering us!" Blackstar screams.

"TOC! DO IT NOW!" Liz yells at him.

"It goes without saying..." Excalibur begins but the page being turned sawfly silenced said male.

"Goodness that was awful." Exhausted, Tsubaki sighs placing her hand over her chest.

"It's a really pretty chapter this time huh…YOU AGAIN!?" Blackstar admires the pride chapter only then to falter form the familiar top hat popping up making him scream, screech at the sad sight of Excalibur tagging alone.

"So you used the children to distract Noah." Index remarks as the two descend down from the portal furrowing her brow by the creature by her side.

"…What makes you think that?" Tensely, Ava demands from the creature before her.

"Because I know you." Simply, the creature states making Ava's eyes narrow just as she feels the sharp sting in her head, haunting her taunting her even at the flicker of a memory resurfacing of her lying flat on the table, a familiar robed figure looming over her mask on. He raises his scalpel shimmering shining from the bright beacon of light above.

"You know nothing of me." Mad, Ava seethes at the creature cross feeling her hand dart to her arm at the small slit of ruby red, crimson currents come gushing out of the bruised battered slits opened up, waterfalls of crimson cascading down with each small slice of the scalpel said wound folds in on itself, healing. Bandaged soon form around her wrapping around her frail feeble form, her vision blurry barely there as she felt on the verge of passing out…again as the robed figure turns his back to her, descending down leaving her the last thing she hears is the harsh boisterous bellow of…

"EIBON!" Enraged, the voice snarls seething shouting as next thing she knew, she felt a pair of arms wrap around her feeble frail form, feeling the strange sense of solace, safety even. She was taken to who knows where as next she knew she remembered being in her bed, having woken up to Death by her bedside…

"Perhaps to me but I know of the reports he has put in here of you. I have made a consistent report read of you." Coldly the index tells Ava crossing her arms at the murky memory…

"Oh really?" Amused, the creature remarks.

"Really." Resolute, Ava snaps sharply scowling.

"Still I suppose I should thank you for not showing me those disgusting succubi now mind telling me where we are?" Ava asks politely, furrowing her brow by the still silence of the two. They find themselves in a different area, her hues widening when seeing a young girl standing before a body, tears freely falling as she holds the woman in her arms.

"Does this not look familiar?" The index quirk its head to the side as Ava flinches from the voice alone, feeling nothing but dread, her heart stopping at the body before her.

"…What are you doing?" Angrily, Ava demands as she slowly makes her way around trying to catch a peek over at the body but falters from the tear strains of coal dangling down from her eyes, mascara smeared all over her, her pale fragile features feeble, weak, swaying from side to side, her darkened gold glazing over, looking done with it all.

"You said I did not know you. It would be best for you to go through some things with me so I know what is right and wrong. Don't you?" Coldly, the index points out making Ava scowl.

"…You." Ava seethes snarling, grinding her teeth together frustration flowing through her veins, grinding gritting her teeth together.

"A child of a witch and mortal, a child that looked harmless, that looked innocent, that look human but was far from it, inside a beast lusting for power, for dominance, for madness…" The index remarks making Ava's gold narrow as she stares at the child before her, so young and yet so new to the world around her now as she heaves, trying to fight back against the vomit as she forcibly swallows…

"Lust for madness? You're wrong…" Ava dismisses the voice watching the girl slam her talon like claws to the ground, cracks forming shooting out of her talon like nails, seething, snarling.

"Am I? That little voice in your head the madness of magic within you even as a child you could hear it and still you fight against it. you were born with an innate desire of destruction, of madness, of chaos…" Tauntingly, the index remarks as the girl screams, sprouting out of her back, feathers flutter from her back protruding out of her screaming, snapping said bones as bones shoot out of her back making her cry out to the high heavens, the tears freely falling.

"I didn't ask for it." Irritated, Ava barks before scarlet splatters on the floor below, the girls screams erupting from her. Her body begins changing, contorting, snapping as said bones break right before her eyes. Ava's hues soften sadly at the sight of the distressed disgruntled mess of a girl she remembered this, she remembered this far too well when it all went…wrong.

"Of course not but you lusted for it didn't you? Just as you lusted for a sense of clemency, of security of humanity, humanity denied to you. " The index remarks.

"Stop…" Warningly, Ava seethes seeing the lab and breaks broken, shards scattered shattered all over the place.

"You craved it didn't you? You wished to be like your brother, you wished you could play, you wished you could be like other children, you wished you could feel what others did. But it was denied to you, denied to you all thanks to him…" Index remarks as next thing the girl knew she was screaming shooting out into the high heavens, fiery feathers shooting out of her back as she screams, seething, snarling at the beast below.

"Stop…" Ava stares shocked horrified to see Death standing before her.

"Thanks to Death." Index concludes as she finds the witches wailing, screaming, seething.

"ARGHHHH!" Ava screams to the high heavens, roaring raising her voice hoping for it to reach the soaring sky above as the tears fell freely from the woman's loss…

"You want to save your friend don't you? You can reach your friend in an instant with one swing of my sword. Shall I lend you my strength? Come make use of me!" Eloquently, Excalibur proclaims proudly, moving high in the air as he elevates up beginning to shift into his sword form.

"With one swing…" Kiluk whispers.

"If we can just bear it for an instant." Blackstar furrows his brow.

"Kidd…" Patty whispers.

"We can save Kidd…" Liz reaches out to said sword.

"Liz…" Blackstar's blues soften sadly at Liz grasping hold of the sword.

"I want to save Kid…EXCALIBUR TEAR THIS SPACE TO SHREDS!" Shouting, Liz cries out raising her blade to the high heavens wishing to cleave a path for them to save Kid.

"A CRACK IN SPACE!?" Stunned, Kiluk exclaims.

"IT CONNECTED TO A DIFFERENT PART OF SPACE!?" Tsubaki adds as Liz is about to finish the strike but…

"AND GET THE HELL OUT OF THIS BOOK!" Liz yells surprising the others as suddenly said sword is thrown into the hole above them all.

"The thought of using that thing…my pride got in the way…" Deflated, Liz falls flat to her knees in shame of her actions as she in her male body bows their head, the tears freely falling.

"No biggie." The others assure Liz, understanding the struggle far too well as they reside in the chapter of pride hoping to find some way to Kid.

"Oh for the…why!? Why here!?" Annoyed, Ava scowls at the sheer sight of the woman towering over her, feeling a wave of fatigue flow through her veins from it all, feeling the sharp sting of a headache forming from the sight of the council proudly presented before her. She feels her fingertips comb through her roots, tugging at a few stray strands scowling at people presented before her.

"You were the one who happily approached." Index remarks reminding the grumbling girl watching her younger form strut in, a smug smirk upon her lips. Her glazed gold glistens as she looks up at the witch's council arms outspread to them. Smiling, she greets them only to be warmly welcomed by the sharp stab of blades. Implements of slick steel impale the woman's side, spikes spewing out from the ground below as she coughs crimson, her body comes crashing down her knees buckling. Her gold dilates at the people presented before her, some turning their heads away in disgust, in shame almost while others simply stand there some shocked, some smiling, feeding off her shock, her pain, her agony as the spikes dug deep into her flesh before being promptly pulled out.

"Some welcome that was…" Bitterly, Ava annoyingly huffs grumbling at the sight of the crimson currents gushing out of her body seeing the bright beam of a smile upon her lips from the onslaught alone.

"To think the witches would be so desperate to survive they would throw one of their own to Death's embrace." Index adds salt to the wound while Ava only heckles hollowly.

"One of their own? Don't make me laugh." Amused, Ava arches a brow bemused by the thought.

"Hm?" index quirks its head to the side.

"I was never one of them." Ava remarks her features darkening shifting scowling as she glares, glowering at the group of witches before her.

"…I see. Nevertheless you seem to be a glutton for punishment." Index remarks as the two watch her bloodied beaten form flail about like a fish heaving on dry land, spasming. They simply watch before the leader bows her head. The two other witches take hold of the young girl, dragging her away where she is swiftly chained up, one of the witches flick their wrist as an array of blades raw, rusted blades are proudly presented as Ava simply smirks at the challenge before her…

"Perhaps…nevertheless for my goal to be complete I had to." Truthfully, Ava says just as Index bows his head just as the scene shifts changing to reveal the torn up shredded corpse of the anguished battered, beaten, bloodied Ava tied up, the raw ropes coiled around her bloodied, soaked scarlet alongside her clothes as she is dragged through the murk mud below, feeling the nick of pebbles below brush against her cheek, feeling the sharp stab of sticks beneath her noting the crimson coated trail following behind her staining said grass below blood red. She is swiftly thrown forward, her glazy glassy gold glaring into a familiar skeletal mask.

"They were fools thinking with my destruction death would protect them, would spare them…" Ava sneers poisonously, disgust dripping down her tense tone feeling her hands ball into a pair of fist fury flowing through her at the memory.

"Desperate times call for desperate measures I suppose…" Index considers.

"But it all worked out well in the end." Ava smirks sadistically, her glistening gold narrowing as Death picks up the body before him. The hunters soldiers standing by his side cheering cheerily. The witches smiles softly both sides joyfully cheering at the sight of the destroyed Ava all except one…

The cheering crowd are unaware of the pack watching on from afar as suddenly the howl echoes making all eyes turn towards the pack that come charging down roaring, raising their crisp claws at the people below.

"Werewolves!? The witches were tricking us this is a trap I knew it!" Frighted, one of the humans wails.

"We're going to die!" Another adds.

"You're not going to die!" Death snaps sharply at the humans beneath him.

"Now hold on the werewolves are not on our side!" Scared, one of the witches whimpers.

"Sure they ain't! Them werewolves are demons just as you lot are!" Angrily, one of the soldiers snap.

"This was all a trick so you could bring lord Death down you monsters!" Another throws in.

"You'll pay for this!" One of them takes out their bow and an arrow.

"Wait pl-" Pleadingly, one of the witches beg before being cut off by the slick stab of silver impaled into her chest making the other witches gasp at the arrowhead impaled into her as next thing everyone knew, chaos has unravelled has unfurled between them both. Desperate, Death tries to keep things under control, placing the body below as he tries to calm the situation, trying to stop the fighting unaware of the small smirk of a certain bloodied battered beaten woman, wavelengths emitting from her as the witches around seemingly crack, suddenly firing flames at the hunters gasping when having their theory be confirmed. The bloodbath begins between human and witch unaware of the battered beaten Ava slowly squirming her way out of it courtesy of a familiar blonde by her side having picked her up, taking her far from there as a fair few werewolves follow.

Next thing Death knew, he was trying to combat against the madden witches, trying to calm his men down seeing a fair few fall flat to the ground, long gone from the world, where watching on perched upon the cliff towering over them resides a pack of werewolves being led by a bloodied beaten Ava clinging to the blonde's side smirking smugly at the bloodbath, the chaos, the madness.

"You knew they would come after you." Impressed, Index exclaims watching on as the pack led by Ava flee from the fight.

"Wouldn't you after seeing the witch you had abandoned had created? We were a threat to them, both of us were. So I made sure they couldn't come after us I gave them something to chew on, provide me and my brother a fair few more years. Besides do you know how much of a pain it has having two enemy factions after you? Now imagine having them join forces that'd give me a whole other headache." Huffing, Ava explains to Index exhaustion etched into her tired tone.

"So you had witches and humans remain enemies…" Index exclaims.

"Course makes things easier for me in the long run back then besides it was easy, as the saying goes it was two birds one stone. Having those two reignite their rivalry they would focus more on each other than on me." Lazily, Ava confesses smirking smugly at the fact of the matter, a glint gleaming in her own eyes as the two then turn their back to the page of Gluttony heading to the next page ahead of them…

"Giriko those two are headed over there right now I'll leave them to you. It's your chance to avenge Arachne." Sternly, Noah warns the slumped figure of Giriko.

"This chapter it's all chairs and beds…" Maka furrows her brow befuddled as she and Soul stand in the room full of said objects having no clue how to progress.

"Hey Soul there's something I want to talk to you about...I'm sorry for always holding you back." Softly, Maka confesses as she then sits down upon the chair surprising Soul turning to see her bow her head ashamed almost.

"What're you saying? All of a sudden?" Soul scowls down at his meister.

"Sorry to decide this on my own…leave me behind…I can't fight together with you anymore." Anguished, Maka confesses solemnly sadly as she states the fact firmly.

"Wha…what are you saying?" Stunned, Soul stares at his meister trying to comprehend her words.

"…Sorry. You haven't done anything wrong everything's my fault. Leave me behind…sorry." Sorrowfully, Maka tells Soul solemnly.

"I don't know what's up with this sudden apology…but I'm not just gonna accept it without a reason." Resolved, Soul states the fact firmly.

"Why not? After all I'm just a burden to you aren't I? I'm not strong like Blackstar or Kid. I can't do anything on my own…" Miserably, Maka states the fact firmly.

"What the hell are you talking about? Seems like the influence of the book has got you thinking you're under the load of some great sin. Don't go sprouting nonsense because of those feelings!" Frowning, Soul snaps at her.

"You saw something in the previous chapter too right Soul?" Maka asks him making him flinch from her words.

"It's just what you wanted to run from music from home from me. When you're with that girl who doesn't know anything about it can you relax and not be jealous of me? Does it put you at ease? Isn't that nice." Tauntingly, Wes mocks Soul scowling.

"I didn't…see anything." Smoothly, Soul lies scratching the back of his neck, glancing to the side.

"I've been waiting all this time you know. What're you doing wasting your time around here? You shouldn't keep me waiting." Surprised, Soul jolts up at the voice turning towards a familiar chainsaw maniac lunging at the two.

"You!? GUAH!" Soul gasps when Giriko raises his chain leg at Soul swiftly incorporating with his blade production out of his wrist blocking said strike.

"SOUL!" Screaming, Maka concerned calls out to him as sparks spew out from the clash of both blades only to cry out as Giriko swiftly lunges at Maka snatching her by her throat and pinning her to the bed below.

"We've met before haven't we? I said I'd play with you in ten years right? I changed my mind I'm gonna make you scream right now!" Maniacally, Giriko growls, a deranged glint gleaming in his hues.

"…Just do as you please." Pathetically, Maka glances to the side sadly making Giriko stare stunned at the woman who supposedly defeated his witch, his creator, his Arachne.

STOP FUCKING AROUND YOU SHITTY BRAT! YELL GET SCARED! IT'S NOT FUN KILLING A GIRL WHO JUST LIES THERE SPRAWLED OUT LIKE A DEAD TUNA! YOU BITCH YOU KILLED ARACHNE SHE'S NOT THE KIND OF WOMAN WHO'D LET HERSELF BE ATTACKED BY A TUNA IS SHE!? C'MON CRY KEEP ME INTERESTED! I'M GONNA PUT THIS CHAINSAW RIGHT THROUGH YOUR GUYS! YOU READY I WANNA HEAR A KYAAA! GOT IT!? CRY OUT NICE AND LOUD HERE WE GO!" Giriko cackles crazed mainly monologing to himself screaming, snarling, shouting as he revs his blade ready to slice her into pieces only then to be swiftly slammed to the side throw off of Maka by a scowling Soul.

"GYAHAHAHAHAH ARE YOU SOME KIND OF PRINCE WHO SWOOPS IN TO SAVE THE GIRL WHEN SHE'S IN A PINCH!? HEY YOU THINK YOU'RE COOL OR SOMETHING!? YOU TRYIN' TO SAY I COULDN'T PROTECT ARACHNE! I'LL KILL YOU, YOU BASTARD!" Bemused, Giriko cackles sneering at the scowling Soul before erupting enraged pouncing at Soul swiftly blocking blow after blow.

"Maka the hell you doing|!? Hurry up and get ready to fight! Here he comes! Below!" Impatiently, Soul calls out to her as he shifts into his form hopeful for the two to fight only for Maka's sluggish strikes to provide more problems than solutions.

"You're incapable girl! Can't even handle a mop!"

"Ahh!" Maka cries out as Soul's scythe form comes clattering to the ground.

"Maka concentrate on the fight!" Firmly, Soul snaps at her.

"You cowardly sly woman always depending on men…"

"So one moment you decide to start moving then its right back…I'm starting to find this annoying too...I guess I'll just end this with one attack. " Annoyed, Giriko huffs.

"Tsk you just stand over there and watch I'll fight by myself this time." Fed up, Soul scowls returning to his human form, having no time for Maka, ready to take on his fellow weapon while Maka stares stunned wrapped up in her own sense of self-loathing.

"So we finally know for sure who's the horniest among us…" Eagerly, the group smirk smugly at both Liz and Tsubaki eager to know which one is the hornist since the first chapter that being lust had trapped them in their different form. Fidgeting, both Tsubaki and Liz sweat drop beginning to pray, pleading begging for some sense of mercy from the heavens above.

God please don't let me be the last.

God please don't let me be the last.

God please don't let me be the last.

God please don't let me b-

"YEEEEESSSS!" Loudly, Liz cheers cheerily to the high heavens.

"No way…it's a lie." Defeated, Tsubaki's knees buckle as she comes crashing to the ground in defeat.

"Hornball! Hornball! Hornball!" Cackling, the others mock her.

"I sleep together in the same room as her…maybe I should stop." Thoughtfully, Blackstar considers laidback.

"You sleep together!? I'm so jealous!" Kiluk confesses in awe.

"There aren't enough rooms in the house that's all." Blackstar shrugs his shoulders.

"This is the place?" Stein asks brow furrowed as he and the death scythe stand outside of the church where awaiting them is Noah noting the caw of a bird above as they turn towards the bird, flying high in the sky hovering circling the church before perching itself upon the top of the church staring down at them.

"That's right this is Noah's gang safehouse. Justin's here too and Ingram." Tesca reveals to the group.

"So they've managed to reach greed…I won't give up my collection to anyone." Crazed, Noah smirks sadistically staring down at the book below in his grasp.

"Soul!" Worried, Maka cries out to him.

"I won't let you touch my meister!" Soul states the fact firmly, sparks spewing out from both blades of a death scythe and normal weapon clashing against one another.

"Huh? I won't forgive you for selfishly slicing up my master!" Mad, Girkio snarls swiftly slamming down upon Soul.

"SHIT." Soul curses as he is thrown back hitting the floor below him.

"HAHAHAH! Just because you've become a death scythe doesn't mean you can fight alone! Get over yourself! I CAN TAKE CARE OF SOMEONE LIK YOU MYSELF! You're different from me and Justin! Know your place! I'm gunna cut out your soul and show it to you!" Giriko proclaims proudly cackling to his heart's content as he lunges at Soul.

"GUAHH! Dammit…I can't do a damn thing by myself…It's my turn to show some courage now." Shakily, Maka composes herself brow furrowing, now knowing what must be done, ready to end this fight once and for all.

"What do you think little fragment? That's power…runaway desire without fetters like reason so what's the power you hold in your hands?" Amused, the great old one asks Kid, the two floating high in the air.

"Symmetry which exceeds symmetry namely nothingness." Kid answers unfazed.

"One in search of power is coming here. How about testing out this power of nothingness?" The old one proposes.

"Interesting…why not?" Smirking, Kid smirks at the thought, a glint gleaming glinting in his gold a glint the old one knew far too well…

"I'm sure you remember fragments of this. This is my main source of information after all when it comes to you." Index reveals to the wide-eyed Ava staring stunned to see her frail form flatly laid upon the table, a familiar male garbed in thick robes holding a scalpel in his hand. Ava grimaces furrowing her brow at the memory. She closes her eyes turning her head away from the gruesome display before her seeing scarlet smears of old and young staining the stonewall, seeing some fresh ruby red and a fair few darker shades as she turns her head away from the display simply waiting wishing for it to end.

"Still nothing…I take it you can lead yourself out." The masked male mutters, brow furrowing beneath his mask. The woman behind Ava wraps the bandaged binded to her frail fragile form simply staring ahead as her gold glaze over. She shakily stands getting off the table, brow furrowed fidgeting. She was fine, she just had to wait for regeneration that was all, she could already see the small slits of ruby red turn in on itself. She feels her nails scrape against the smooth surface of the tabletop trying to steady herself, ignoring the faint black blurs in her vision. She ignores the sharp sting to her temple, trying to steady herself, trying to feel some sensation in her shaking legs. Eibon on the other hand doesn't bat an eye to the shaken state of Ava as he looks over at his notes, focusing on the data collected. Shyly, she nods her head limping out of the way lab.

"Why did you even agree to it?" Index asks confusion clear in his tone.

"When you've lived a life long as mine…you begin to want to die. You just want it to end." Ava sighs shakily, furrowing her brow as she watches her younger from slowly shyly limp through the hallway out of the lab.

Silently, she watches on as her younger form goes about her day bloodied bandages still strapped to her frail form as she wanders through the hallway, holding a book in her hand, face in her book, brow furrowed. She makes her way through the hallways, in her own little world, engrossed in the book before her. She's oblivious to the two passing by conversing chirpily to themselves, Arachne has her arms around the coal claw labeled Death. She's oblivious to the pair of blackish-purple hues narrowing at Ava her web-like iris narrowing, her grip tightening when noting Death's lingered look on the back of Ava making her way out of the room.

"Ava…" Death stops in his tracks, calling out to her as Arachne's arm tightens around him.

"…" Silently, Ava reads her book in her own little world.

"Woman!" Angrily, Death snaps sharply scowling at her but…

"…" Easily, Ava blanks him focusing on the book in her hand.

"DON'T IGNORE ME!" Mad, Death snarls lunging at her pushing Arachne back briefly looking hurt pained when he slaps Ava's book out of her hands. Surprised, Ava arches a brow by the book firmly flat on the floor, her eye twitching.

…You lost my page." Poisonous, Ava coldly curtly states scowling.

"You ignored me." Unapologetic, Death barks back at her.

"…What do you want?" Tiredly, Ava sighs kneeling down picking up said book, brushing the debris off the cover.

"DON'T IGNORE ME WOMAN!" Death tells her making her gold narrow at him.

"I'll do whatever I want." Sternly, she states.

"YOU WENT TO EIBON AGAIN DIDN'T YOU!?" Enraged, Death snarls seething at her confusing her.

"And if I did? What does it have to do with you?" Annoyed, Ava argues.

"I told you…" Death seethes shaking slamming his claw into the wall behind her pinning her almost as she glares at the claws impaled into the wall behind her, bringing a smug satisfied smirk to Arachne's lips at the sight.

"And you think I'll just listen?" Unamused, Ava arches a brow bored.

"Woman you will listen." Darkly, Death digs his claws deep into the wall as small scraps of wall come crashing down nicking her cheek.

"I'll listen when you're actually interesting to listen to." Truthfully, Ava states the fact firmly as she easily bows her head, escaping from his harsh hold.

"WHAT'S THAT MEANT TO MEAN?" Mad, Death demands form her as she rolls her eyes.

"Can your brain not fully comprehend my words? Then again considering how much of a man-child you are I'm not surprised." Sighing, Ava remarks smirking.

"WOMAN!" Warningly, Death bellows but…

"Do you really think shouting will get you the answer you seek?" Sighing, she furrows her brow at him.

"You will answer me." Death orders her.

"Okay then, you're boring." Smirking, Ava swiftly slams her book shut before turning on her heel heading off.

"WHAT WAS THAT!? DON'T WALK AWAY FROM ME! AVA! AVA!" Angrily, Death screams shouting at her, his voice echoing resonating through the hallway but she simply stares ahead continuing on her merry way.

Quietly, Ava watches her younger form sit down at the bottom of the tree turning the page of her book before perking up at the communication before her, feeling the shaded shadow of the tree branch towering over her provide her protection hiding her almost from Eibon, fussing over his coughing wife making her hues soften sadly at the sight unaware of a certain figure of darkness, taking a seat by her side, eyeing the hand flat on the grass below…

"Why did you watch them so much?" Curious, Index asks her.

"I don't know…maybe because I found it fascinating. How the less amount of time a human has the more they make out of that life. Seeing such relations always intrigued me I suppose…maybe it was envy of being free of not being alone. Maybe even envied for having someone to rely on." Ava shrugs her shoulders. She had no clue why she watched them as she did perhaps it was the pit of loneliness in her stomach at the sad truth that if she fell for someone she'd have to bury them in the end like always…

"And him?" Index asks gesturing over to Death by her side.

"I don't know but it was during these times where he was quiet it was a rarity to see him silent. But I think he knew…I think he felt the same too." Unsure, Ava's eyes narrow watching the fidgeting figure of Death squirm clearly having no idea what to say scowling, glaring at Eibon from the trees.

"I thought he was envious of Eibon." Index argues brow furrowed.

"…Wouldn't surprise me. He doesn't exactly like sharing." Snippily, Ava huffs furrowing her brow at the memory only then to blink baffled when seeing the book in her younger form fall from her hands, her vision blurry as she fell into the arms of Death holding her, concern clear upon his skeletal facial features only then to be alarmed at the sight of her scarlet smeared bandaged. Alarmed, he jolts up from their seat, holding her bridal style screaming, shouting, as next thing she knew, the page was turned and she had ventured into another chapter.

"Maka…" Softly, Soul calls out to his meister, his hues softening at her.

"Sorry Soul...I…" Meekly, Maka bows her head sadly smiling at him.

"You don't have to say anything." Soul tells her taking her hand in his.

"Looks like your engine's finally revved up. 800 years…I've waited for Arachne…Don't make me wait any longer!" Giddily, Giriko grins maliciously at the two, crouching down, his motor reiving from his sleeve that he tugs as he charges at the two.

"Adagio of the soul Now Maka!" Soul calls out as she complies working with him as he had hoped focusing as he plays his music.

"Yeah! Warlock Hunter!" Maka raises her scythe to the high heavens as she swiftly slashes at Giriko.

"We did it!" Victorious, Soul points out smirking smugly at their win.

"If we use your power and my soul perception together we can even beat Giriko!" Gleefully, Maka's grip tightens around her scythe feeling a sense of confidence flow through her.

"Let's move onto the page." Soul reminds Maka nodding her head in understanding, the two reminding themselves of why they are here.

"I'm not alone either you know." The two jolt up at the voice.

"Maka!" Soul cries out alarmed as Maka gasp when next thing she knew she was thrown aside as she turns to stare stunned at the woman above the two.

"What the hell there was another one!?" Stunned, Soul stares at the woman before him as a woman, Giriko appears similar to his male form, physically and sartorially. Giriko retains sharp teeth, wears attire similar to his male form: gear-adorned jeans and belt, a sleeveless buttoned shirt, and Enchanter Gloves. Aside from some anatomical and gendered differences in physical form, Giriko's female form differs regarding hair, which now resemble chainsaws

"This is the chapter of sloth I guess that's why you're relaxed and didn't notice me with your soul perception. What you killed my former body which I was using as a golem that body was no good! I messed around with it too much and it got all worn out! I got this new body to kill you I put some of my genes in storage and put 'em in a new child and then accelerated its growth using BREW. And now I've grown into this big titted girl! I'm not happy about becoming a girl but it was my only choice. There's no way a human would explode like that is there!? You were all happy about taking out that golem you thought you killed me right!? Right!?" Deranged, Giriko proclaims proudly ranting to the two stunned staring at her.

"B…But Arachne exploded when she died…." Meekly, Maka points out lost.

"Eh!? You for real!? Sweet! Just what I expect from that woman! Hey Silver hair are you gonna bowl up as you die!?" Joyous, Giriko grins as she raises her leg to the high heavens, ready to cut Maka to ribbons.

"Hey TOD Kid's in the next chapter right?" Blackstar asks Index.

"Indeed." Index confirms.

"Hurry up and there us there." Impatiently, Blackstar orders.

"I can only guide you this far. The rest is for him to decide without the permission of the immense great old one you cannot advance to the next chapter. This is the chapter of greed what is it that you desire?" Index questions Blackstar.

"Power. Power to defeat my enemies power to protect my friend's power to save Kid." Resolute, Blackstar answers just then a portal pops up before them.

"This is…" Tsubaki's eyes expand at the sheer sight of the portal.

"It appears that we've received an invitation…" Index remarks.

"You guys wait here I'll go on alone." Blackstar tells the others.

"What you saying!? There's no way we can let you go by yourself!" Tsubaki argues concern clear upon her furrowed features.

"Decide as you will but only one person can pass through this gate and that Kid's the one who's been invited." Index informs the group.

"But…" Tsubaki furrows her brow.

"No need to worry I'm the great Blackstar after all I'll definitely come back." Blackstar smiles softly patting Tsubaki's head.

"B…But…" Liz joins in brow furrowed.

"Liz Patty I'll be gone a sec while I got get Kid." Blackstar tells them.

"Wait a minute…!" Liz argues annoyed however…

"Later Kid'll do fine as a souvenir right?" Blackstar smirks smugly cutting Luz off, jumping down the portal.

"I guess I'll just keep on fal- KID!" Blackstar furrows his brow as he continues free falling until his hues widen, his blues meeting a familiar pair of jaded gold.

"…" Silently, Kid's gold glare at the intruder before him unamused.

"Goodness whether it's Crona or you the great Blackstar's gotta be there huh. I guess there's no helping it. I'm bringing you back with me even if I've got to drag you." Resolute, Blackstar sighs furrowing his brow, ready for whatever was thrown his away as he stood before the death god of order.

"I assume this is wrath then…" Tiredly, Ava remarks brow furrowed as she stands before the battlefield walking amongst the screaming shouting screeching men and women, hearing the boisterous bellow of wolves' tears silver suited soldiers limb from limb while others impale their silver spears into them, either way scarlet splattered all over the place. The stench of copper and iron hangs heavily in the air as the bored Ava wanders through it like a phantom almost with Index hovering by her side simply staring ahead almost bored by the bloodbath taking place around them.

"You assume right tell me do you even remember this battle?" Curious, Index asks her, quirking its head to the side making her grimace, glaring, glowering ahead at the question.

"…This time period is a murky aspect of my memories." Aloofly, Ava dismisses waving her hand in the air, brushing it off just as a body comes crashing down next to her, the heavy huff of the werewolf body shifting, contorting, a silver arrowhead impaled into the back of the werewolf, the hand draped over Ava's foot making her scowl. Disgusted, Ava kicks the hand on top of her foot aside as she continues on her merry way through the blood and gore of the bloodbath.

"Seems your brain was deeming it to be too graphic even for the likes of you to have this in your subconscious." Logistically, Index considers making Ava furrow her brow.

"What happened happened." Annoyed, Ava states sternly, scowling.

"Your battle was why the werewolves were hunted." Index reminds Ava her hue twitching.

"No it was the humans who hunted them down." Defensively, Ava argues annoyed.

"You offered them protection." Index points out.

"If they served me I cannot protect everyone." Frustrated, Ava disputes.

"And look where your protection led." Index remarks as Ava looks over at the flies flying above the corpses of both beast and man, flies feasting upon the singed, bloodied battered beaten bodies.

"Hey they chose to fight, they chose to go against the crippling laws that Death has conjured up. They knew what they were getting into it isn't my fault they died." Frowning, Ava huffs sneering scowling at the bodies before her.

"Isn't it though?" Index exclaims as Ava falters from her sturt, her features flinching from the sad of the bloodied male below her, a stray stripe of silver dangling down his bloodied blonde roots.

"Stop…" Warningly, Ava snarls seething blinking back the tears threatening to fall. She slams her eyes shut only then for her nose to twitch at the smell of pine instead of iron, feeling the breeze brush against her cheeks, feeling the teasing touch of greenery teasingly touch her cheek. She slowly opens her golds, which meet a pair of icy blue, a male stands over her, his blonde braid dangling down by her side smiling softly at her before picking her up bridal style, no words needing to be said between both of them.

"You knew he liked you…"

Diligently, he stands by her bedside in the tent of sorts, spoon-feeding her from the wooden spoon slowly guided towards her mouth as the male tends to her.

"You knew he wanted you..."

Slowly, he unravels the blooded bandages coiled around her form, his blazing blue gazing into her glistening gleaming gold almost as if she were too pure to touch from his hesitant hand on her unaware that as she has her back turned to him, a small sadistic smirk crosses her lips. He tends to her injuries, brushing the frail feathers of coal to the side.

"You knew he would do whatever you said even at the cost of his own people." Pointedly, Index adds as the newly healed Ava stands before the crowd of wolves, bellowing boisterously to the bright ball of the moon. She too joins them in the hunt, in running through the vast forest, fireflies fluttering in the sky, scattered some tangle in her hair alongside the braided crown and floral entwined in her hair as she runs alongside the blue-eyed boy, both of them smiling softly at one another, a glint gleaming in their hues, in their own little world with their pack…

"…What do you want me to say?" Sharply, Ava snaps seething fed up, fuming, she turns to glare, glower at Index hovering above her. She tries to brush aside the stray tear descending down her cheek.

"Nothing I am simply stating the fact." Firmly, Index adds almost rubbing salt in the wound.

"And does this please you?" Poisonously, Ava seethes snarling baring her feral fangs at him shooting venom at him almost.

"…Yes." Index answers making Ava seethe feeling her blood boil, bubble, burn.

"Of course, a soulless creature like you couldn't comprehend such complex emotions." Enraged, Ava remarks ruthlessly.

"I think I can it was thanks to Death that you and your family had to run constantly, that your father died, that you were hunted down, that your people, your community was brought to ruins." Index adds.

"Stop it!" Incensed, Ava screams shouting at them.

"It was why you made him was it not?" Index points out quirking their head to the side startling Ava.

"…Don't." Ava staggers back, feeling her blood turn ice cold as they both turn towards the screaming, shouting, screeching, a familiar set of three eyes hanging above the fiery flames of the battlefield.

"And look where that got you…" Callously, Index remarks as the two turn towards the fierce flames feasting upon the bloated battered beaten bodies below, where through the thick veil of fierce flames stand the think lanky shadow of a certain scarfed male, standing, still proud, silently staring watching over the wrathful acts of his descendants while Ava herself, turns her back to the bloodied beaten battlefield behind her, heading off. Index follows after her, trailing after her turning the page as they head further into the dark depths of the book of Eibon, a lone tear freely falling from the woman making her way to the next chapter…
