In the Foot Skyscraper, Karai was in a room on the top floor, approaching the statue of her father, wearing her Shredder outfit, while carrying her helmet and a sword that was wrapped up.

Karai: Honorable Father, though you are imprisoned among the stars, I bring you news that will set free your soul. I, your humble daughter, Karai...

In the lair, the Turtles - minus Leo - and Splinter, all stare at Karai, who points her gauntlet at them.

...discovered the lair of your most hated enemies and led...

Karai stood with her forces, pointing at the Shell-Sub, then two Shrednuts fired their cannons.

...a full Foot attack force against them.

The Turtles all scatter as a Shrednut tried to slam them with its cannon left arm - Donnie holding Splinter over his shoulders.

Utterly defeated...

Donnie approaches the Shell-Sub, then puts Splinter inside it.

...all they could do was flee.

Donnie gets inside the Shell-Sub, then closes the door behind him.

The Shell-Sub rides beneath the Hudson River, while being chased by Foots on Scuba Bikes. They all fire missiles, which hit the Shell-Sub, making Donnie and Splinter wobble.

Donatello and the rat we...

The Shell-Sub twirls around as it dives towards the riverbed, with the Foot watching.

...left destroyed at the bottom of the river.

Mikey drives the Turtle Tunneller through a sewer tunnel, with Klunk resting on his shoulders.

Michelangelo tried to burrow his way to safety...

The Turtle Tunneller drills a hole through a wall, then turns left down a tunnel, while being chased by a Shrednut. The Shrednut fires three missiles at it, which all hit it, making it bounce along the water.

...but he could not dig deep enough...

It lands on the water upside down.

...to escape my wrath.

Cath drove the Sewer Slider down a sewer tunnel, being chased by Foot on speeder bikes.

Catharina tried to escape through the sewers...

Three Foot fire missiles from their speeder bikes, as Cath turns the Sewer Slider left down the tunnel.

...but she wasn't cleaver enough to evade me.

The Foot all hear an explosion, then move around the corner, seeing the Sewer Slider in flames.

Raph drives the Battle Shell through the city, with Elisa sitting beside him.

And Raphael and Elisabetta were blown to smithereens in the Turtles' own Battle Shell.

A Foot Helicopter fires two missiles at the Battle Shell.

"Ah!" Raph gasps.

"Oh, no!" Elisa gasps, covering her mouth with her hands.

Both missiles hit the front of the Battle Shell, blowing off its front right tire, while knocking it onto its side.

Karai looks up at the statue in the Foot Skyscraper, now on her knees, holding the sword with both hands.

All that remains is Leonardo, Father, and...

Leo lands behind Karai, then glares at her.

...once I find him, then you will truly and forever be avenged!

At the harbor, a freighter ship was docked near the walkway, as Leo jumped up onto the edge of it, then ran along it. He soon jumped off the freighter, then hid himself near some crates on the walkway. He ran from one pile to another, then ran off away from the harbor.

Later, as wind blew in the city, Leo was walking down a tunnel towards the lair, hoping his family was alright.

"Wow. I've been gone so long I actually missed these old sewers." he said. "Huh?"

He stared at the entrance to the lair, seeing it trashed by Karai's attack while he was away.

"Oh, no, the lair!" he gasped.

He stripped from his trenchcoat, then brought out his left sword. He slowly approached the lair, then saw all the damage that had been done during Karai's attack.

"No! What happened here?" he cried.

He ran towards the river entrance - which was covered with debris - then approached a destroyed Shell-Cell. He picked it up, then turned around as he heard a noise, as a Shrednut was watching him from the upper floor in the shadows. He kept walking as the Shrednut captured his presence on its viewscreen, then it jumped down and landed behind him, the feet making a loud noise. Leo turned around and glared at it, then the Foot Technician inside pulled a lever down, making it fired its right cannon arm.

Leo back flipped away from it, dodging the blast, then he dived forward as it fired again, hitting part of the remains of a wall. He then back flipped away as it fired its left cannon, hitting some more rubble. Leo landed behind some rubble and took out his other sword, then pointed his left one at the Shrednut.

"You dare come into my home and do this?" he roared.

He jumped up and twirled around, sending several slashes at the Shrednut's cockpit, slicing open the glass. He back flipped away as the Shrednut fell onto its back.

"Ah!" the Foot Technician moaned.

Leo jumped onto the Shrednut, then sliced open the safety belt around the Foot Technician.

"The Foot?" Leo hissed, eyeing the symbol.

"Ah!" the Technician gasped, as Leo grabbed him by the shirt.

"My family, where are they?" Leo demanded, pointing his sword at him.

"You'll get nothing from me." the Technician said.

He pressed a button on the controls, making Leo back flip away as the Shrednut shook. He turned and ran off as electricity began to sparkle through it, as the Foot Technician got out of it, then jumped down from the other side and ran off.

Leo ran down the tunnel away from the lair, as the Shrednut blew up, but the impact knocked him away.

"AHH!" he yelled.

He landed on his chest as smoke came up all around him, but then it cleared.

"I need some answers." he realized, sitting up.

Later, parked outside April's ship, was a Foot Surveillance Van, which was there to keep an eye on the store in case Leo showed up. Inside were three Foot, one driver, and two in the back on computers. The driver turned to the store, as he saw Angel approaching it with a pizza box.

"Foot 1 to base. We have activity at Turtle-zone 5." a Foot in the back reported, before turning to the other. "Get a clear scan of that kid's face. See if we have a file on her?"

The second Foot touched his screen, which showed Angel outside the front door.

"On it." he said, as the screen zoomed in.

(Outside)

Angel turned to the van, before she entered the store, where April was behind the counter. April looked at pictures of each of the Turtles, along with a newspaper with the headline 'Who are they?'.

"Yo, Miss." Angel said.

April turned to him.

"Miss., I got your pizza you ordered." Angel said, putting the box down.

"Pizza? What? Angel?" April said, as Angel winked.

"Yeah, that's my name, don't wear it out." Angel said, pointing at herself. "Now, you want this pie or not?"

She opened up the box, showing it had a note in from Leo, who told Angel to give it to April. April picked up the note and read it, hearing Leo's voice in her head.

"Lair is destroyed. Have you heard from the others?"

Angel turned to the door as April put the note down.

"I ordered a pizza, but this isn't it." April said, as she began to write a note. "This is the third time this mouth you guys have delivered the wrong pizza. I'm writing a note to your boss and I want you to take it to him."

She handed Angel the note, then put it in the box, which Angel closed.

"This is an outrage! An outrage!" April exclaimed.

"Whatever, lady." Angel said, winking.

She turned and left the store.

(Outside)

A Foot Ninja watched the store from the opposite rooftop.

"Foot 1 to base. It's just a pizza delivery kid. She's clean." a Foot inside the van reported.

Angel walked down the street towards a phonebooth.

"Roger that, Foot 1." Foot Base said. "Stay alert."

Angel left the box inside the phonebooth - out of sight from the van - then walked on down the street. One of Leo's swords then went into the box, then pulled it up towards himself on a rooftop. Once he got it, he pulled his sword out of the box and put it away, then he opened the box and took out April's note, hearing her voice as he read it.

"Leo, I'm so sorry, I'm not sure what to say. The others are... Karai said she got them all. She left this."

Leo looked into the box, seeing the 'Sewer Sweet Sewer' sign.

"She said you're next. Please be careful."

Leo cried slightly as he clutched the note.

"No, it can't be. Karai is lying!" he said, throwing the note away. "They're alive, I know it."

He ran along the roof to begin his search, knowing his family were still alive out there.

Meanwhile, a Foot Helicopter flew towards the Shredder's Skyscraper. Once it landed on the landing pad, Karai got out of it, as two Foot Ninjas ran towards her, then one walked along with her.

"Mistress Karai, we just received a report. The Shrednut's unit stationed in the Turtle's lair was destroyed." he reported.

They both stopped.

"Leonardo?" Karai hissed, knowing it had to be him. "Deploy all available Foot Ninja. Search the city. Destroy him!"

The Foot bowed and backed away from her.

"This night, my beloved father will truly be avenged." she declared.

Later, Leo was swimming around the Hudson River, searching for the Shell-Sub with a flashlight. When he was in the lair, he noticed all the vehicles were missing, so he decided to start searching for the Shell-Sub, due to only working underwater. He swam on and on, before he found the remains of the Shell-Sub at the bottom of the river.

He shined his flashlight at it, before spotting something shiny in the distance, making him curious. He shined the light over it, seeing one of the diving masks and breathing tanks, shocking him.

He soon surfaced and breathed as he held the breathing tank and mask, then he walked onto the shore of a beach.

"That was defiantly the remains of the Shell-Sub down there, and Don's dolphin scuba tank is nearly empty." he said.

He fell to his knees near some weird footprints as he panted with his eyes closed.

"I guess the other one's still onboard the Shell-Sub. Alright, so much has happened." he panted. "I have all the pieces; I just need to put them together. Like the Ancient One taught me, relax my mind, allow thought to flow within and without."

He began to visualize what happened in his mind.

(Leo's mind)

The Shell-Sub raced away from the Foot Ninjas on the Scuba Bikes, as Donnie gritted his teeth, holding the controls. One of the Foot fired two missiles from its Scuba Bike, which both shot towards and hit the belly of the Shell-Sub.

"AH!" Donnie grunted.

The Shell-Sub capsized over, so its belly was facing upwards, then water began to leak into it.

Donnie pressed three buttons nervously, then the Shell-Sub turned right side up, then began to move down. It shot two torpedoes out, which shot towards the bed of the river, hitting it and creating a dust cloud. Donnie and Splinter grunted as it dived down towards a large hole created by the torpedoes, and was then covered up by the dirt around it.

The Foot on the Scuba Bikes all looked around, but saw no sign of the Shell-Sub.

Inside, Donnie banged the door open with his arm, then Splinter came over with the breathing tank, as water flooded into the Shell-Sub. Splinter swam out, as Donnie held his breath, then kicked a lever down, and then followed Splinter out into the river.

The door closed up, then the Shell-Sub quickly shot up from the dirt, knocking three Foot away and off their Scuba Bikes, as the rest all looked up at it. Three then gave chase - as Donnie and Splinter poked their heads up slightly from the dirt - and fired missiles, which hit the Shell-Sub, smashing part of the hull. Donnie and Splinter put more of their bodes up through the dirt, as the Shell-Sub sank to the bottom of the river.

"Mistress Karai, Donatello and the rat have been destroyed." one of the Foot said.

"Excellent. Most excellent." Karai said, as the Shell-Sub caught fire.

The Foot all began to move their Scuba Bikes away, as Splinter gave Donnie the mask to breath. He sighed as Splinter pointed to the surface, then they both swam up.

(Reality)

Leo opened his eyes, then touched one of the footprints, which he was sure was now Donnie's.

"They'd have surfaced right about here, and then headed towards the pier looking for shelter." he realized, looking up.

He soon arrived at the pier - with a bag and a walking stick - hopping over a crate, then he ran towards a warehouse. He hid against a wall in the shadows, then looked around and saw he was alone, then he turned left and ran off along the side of the warehouse.

He soon got onto the roof and looked through the skylight - which had been smashed open. He jumped down into the building, then he ran off towards a railing, then looked down at the lower floor.

Behind him was a shadowy figure, who stared at him from behind a staircase. The figure held up a Bo, as another smaller figure clutched himself, just as Leo turned around and brought out his left sword. He stared at both figures, as the first came out slightly, showing he was Donnie, while the other was Splinter.

"Donnie? It's me." Leo said, putting his sword away.

Donnie sighed in relief. "Leo, you're back?" he said.

Both brothers approached each other, Donnie having to use his Bo to help him along, as he'd hurt his ankle bad.

"You okay?" Leo asked, shaking his hand.

"My son?" Splinter said.

"Master Splinter." Leo said.

Splinter stepped out of the shadows, showing his forehead was bandaged up, along with his right upper arm.

"I knew it. I knew you were both alive." Leo said, as Splinter touched him. "Don't worry, Sensei, everything's gonna be okay. I promise."

"Oh, man, it's good to see you, bro." Donnie said, touching his shoulder.

"We have to get you both out of here before anymore Foot show up." Leo said.

Later, Donnie closed a manhole cover in Central Park, then Leo led him and Donnie down tunnel under a building called Belvedere Castle, using his flashlight to see.

"We need to find a save place for you two to rest and recuperate." Leo said, shining his light over a plague, before he rubbed some dust off it. "Some place far from the old lair."

He looked at the sign, which read 'Reservoir Pumping Station'. He turned and walked towards a door that was boarded up with wood. He began pulling off the wood pieces, then opened the door, then all three Mutants walked down a small set of steps, then along a catwalk.

"This oughta do for now." Leo said.

"This must be one of the earlier pumping stations for the Reservoir." Donnie deduced, approaching a railing. "I think I've seen it on some of the old city planning."

He looked around and whistled.

"Very nice." he remarked.

Splinter got on his knees, as both his sons turned to him.

"Leonardo, now that Donatello and I are safe-" he began.

"I'm already on it, Master Splinter." Leo assured. "I'll find them. And I'll start with Cath, due to your injures."

He bowed his head, then he turned and ran off, as Donnie turned around to him, then he left the station as the door closed.

Later, in the sewers, Leo was looking around a tunnel, before he spotted the remains of the Sewer Slider ahead of him.

"Man, the Sewer Slider really got trashed." he said.

He walked down the tunnel with his flashlight, before he spotted something on the ground.

"Footprints." he said, shining his light on them, as he turned around. "And they lead back this way."

He followed them back down the tunnel, turned stopped and turned to a smaller tunnel on his right. He shined his flashlight through it, and then saw Cath's medical book lying on the floor, which he then picked up.

"It's one of Cath's medical books." he said, picking it up.

He closed his eyes and began to visualize what happened in his mind.

(Leo's mind)

Cath drove the Sewer Slider down it quickly, while being chased by the Foot Ninjas on the speeder bikes. She turned around as they kept chasing her, before she turned back and turned the Sewer Slider to her right down the tunnel. The Foot Ninjas kept chasing her, then three of them fired missiles from their speeder bikes, which shot towards the Sewer Slider, as Cath turned around.

She turned the Sewer Slider left as the missiles homed in on her, but also getting out of sight of the Foot. She flicked a switch on the controls, then got up and dived into a small tunnel on the left. She rolled over slightly, staying in the dark, just as the missiles hit the Sewer Slider, leaving it on fire and a complete wreck.

The Foot on their Speeders all came around the corner, and saw the Sewer Slider's wreckage, with no sign of Cath.

"Mistress Karai, Catharina has been eliminated." a Foot explained.

"Excellent." Karai said.

Cath turned and moved slowly down the tunnel, to avoid making a noise in case they heard her, losing her medical book in the process as it fell out of her bag.

(Reality)

Leo opened his eyes.

"She went down this tunnel to hide." he realized. "I hope she's okay, as I do have to apologise to her."

He began walking down the tunnel, using his flashlight to see as he did. He reached the other end of the tunnel, then looked around before he saw someone emerging from the shadows with a pair of Tonfas.

"Cath, is that you?" Leo asked.

The figure came out of the shadows, revealing itself to be Cath, who smiled.

"Leo, is it really you?" she asked.

"It's me, sis." Leo assured.

Cath ran towards him - putting her Tonfas away as she did - and hugged him tight, which he returned.

"Cath, I wanna apologise." Leo said.

"For what?" Cath inquired, pulling away.

"For everything I did after the Shredder was banished." Leo explained. "I was angry, stressed, rude, and I ignored you when you tried to help me. I should've let you instead of pushing you away."

"Leo, you had PTSD." Cath said. "Everyone who's been through a war gets it. But I forgive you since I can see your you again."

"Thanks, sis." Leo said. "Come on. I'll take you to Don and Splinter, and I think they'll need your help."

"Understood." Cath nodded.

She picked her first-aid kit bag, then put it over her shoulder, as they both walked down the tunnel.

"Oh, by the way, I think you'll need this." Leo said, handing Cath her book.

"My book?" she gasped. "I thought I lost it like the rest. Thanks, Leo."

She put it in her bag as they kept on walking down the tunnel.

Later, Leo was walking down another tunnel, before he saw the Turtle Tunneller with his flashlight.

"Whoa. The Tunneller sure took a beating." he said.

He walked forward slightly, and then saw footprints on the ground leading away from the Tunneller.

"But these prints are way back here, several yards from the wreckage." he noted.

He turned left into a side tunnel, then saw a comic book called 'Zombies from beyond', a broken plate, and a bag of cat food.

"Well, what do you know?" he said.

He crouched down a picked up the bag of cat food, then closed his eyes, and began to visualize what happened in his mind.

(Leo's mind)

The Turtle Tunneller drilled a hole through a wall, then it turned right down a tunnel with water in it, and then raced it down the tunnel. Mikey fiddled with the controls, as Klunk jumped onto his shoulder. The Shrednut smashed its way through the wall, then chased after it.

Mikey opened the door up while holding onto Klunk, seeing the side tunnel up ahead on his right.

"Hang on, Klunk?" he asked.

He jumped out of the Tunneller and dived into the tunnel with Klunk, as it kept racing off down the tunnel. The Shrednut chased after the Tunneller, as Mikey peeked out of the tunnel, then it raised its right arm up, and shot three missiles from it. They shot towards the Tunneller, then two hit the back of it, while the third hit the front of it, making it bounce along the water as its drill stopped. It then turned upside down and crashed into a wall before it caught fire, as the Shrednut approached it, seeing no sign of Mikey or Klunk.

"Michelangelo is finished." the Foot Technician inside reported.

"Excellent." Karai said.

Mikey turned and ran off down the tunnel back the way he came, while holding onto Klunk.

(Reality)

Leo opened his eyes, knowing where to find his youngest sibling.

In a Subway Tunnel nearby, a train moved along the track, as Mikey lay asleep in an aclove area. Klunk opened his eyes as the train went passed, then got angry as Leo came towards them both. He jumped onto Mikey and meowed angrily, as Leo looked down at them.

"Hey, Klunk." Leo said, crouching down.

Klunk meowed softly, recognizing him then Leo stroked him as he purred. Leo touched Mikey and shook him awake.

"Ah!" Mikey yelped, waking up. "Uh, Leo, is that you?"

He sat up and facepalmed himself.

"Uh, I had the strangest dream." he said.

Klunk meowed and moved away, as Mikey wrapped his arm around Leo, who helped him up.

"You were there, and the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion, and the grouchy Raph of the West." Mikey said, as Leo helped him along.

"It's gonna be okay, Mikey." Leo promised.

Later, Leo was in the street the Battle Shell remains were, which he stared at.

"Looks like the Battle Shell took a missile." he said, examing the tire tracks behind it. "But these could be Shell Cycle tracks."

He turned around and saw Raph's and Elisa's helmets under a train bridge.

"And those are defiantly Raph's and Elisa's helmets." he said.

He ran towards both helmets, then a train passed by as he picked Raph's up. He closed his eyes, then began to visualize what happened in his mind.

(Leo's mind)

Raph drove the Battle Shell down a street, while Elisa kept her eyes open through the window. He turned the Battle Shell left down the street, before he spotted a Foot Helicopter ahead of them.

"Ah!" Raph gasped.

"Oh, no!" Elisa gasped, covering her mouth with her hands.

The Foot Helicopter fired two missiles at the Battle Shell, which hit the front of it, blowing off its front right tire, while knocking it onto its side. Raph jumped his Shell Cycle out of the back just before it did, with Elisa sitting behind him. He skidded his bike along slightly, then both Turtles looked at the flaming Battle Shell, before Raph raced his bike off quickly down the road, turning right as he did.

The Foot Helicopter hovered over the Battle Shell, as the pilot didn't see Raph and Elisa's escape.

"Mistress Karai, the ones called Rapheal and Elisabetta have been terminated." the pilot explained.

"Excellent." Karai said.

Raph raced his bike off past the same gas station he had chased a thug two years ago when they were searching Splinter, then he turned and raced under the train bridge. He skidded his bike along, turning it onto its side, then both he and Elisa jumped off it and grabbed hold of a support beam each.

"Come on." Raph said, taking his helmet off. "Let's get outta here."

"I'm right behind you, Raph." Elisa said, taking her helmet off.

They both dropped them and climbed onto the train track, as a D train came towards them both, which they both quickly ran past.

(Reality)

"The D train?" Leo said, opening his eyes. "Coney Island? I sure hope Raph and Ellie's in better shape than their helmets."

At Coney Island, Raph and Elisa were hiding under a bridge together, the latter asleep while the former kept watch while drinking a soda.

"Uh." he sighed, finishing it.

He threw it away, when a shadowy figure showed up, which he spotted.

"Elisa, wake up?" he said quietly, picking up his Sais.

"Huh?" Elisa mumbled, waking up.

Raph twirled his Sais around while getting up, as Elisa turned around.

"I thought I'd find you two here." came Leo's voice.

Elisa rubbed her eyes and stood up, seeing Leo in front of her and Raph.

"Leo?" Raph said.

"Leo, you're back?" Elisa gasped.

"Man, are we glad to see you." Raph said, putting his Sais away.

"Yeah. Leo, they found the lair." Elisa explained. "They got to us."

"The others... We don't know what happened to them." Raph said. "We-"

"It's okay, guys." Leo said. "They're all fine. I found them. Everyone is okay."

"That's the first good news I've heard in days." Elisa sighed.

"We're glad you're back, bro." Raph said.

"Come on. Let's get back to the others." Leo said.

Raph and Elisa nodded, then they both followed him.

"I was surprised I only found one set of bike tracks through." Leo said. "What happened."

"My bike got trashed in the warehouse." Elisa explained. "If it hadn't, I would've separated from Raph there."

"It was my call to split up." Raph said. "I hope-"

"You made the right call, Raph." Leo said. "Even I would've in that case."

Later, the three eldest Turtles climbed down a manhole cover near the pumping station, then Leo put the cover back over. They all soon walked into the station, where the rest of the family was waiting. Cath had bandaged up Donnie's busted ankle, checked on Splinter's wounds, and had patched up Mikey's left forearm, as it was bruised slightly.

"Everyone, I found them." Leo said. "They're okay."

Splinter and the younger Turtles stared at the others.

"Hey, we heard you guys were having a party." Raph joked.

"And we weren't invited." Elisa smirked.

"Rapheal! Elisabetta! You made it." Donnie said, approaching them.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." Raph said, passing him.

"Are you two okay?" Cath asked, getting up. "You're not hurt, are you?"

"We're fine, sis." Elisa sighed. "Expect on the inside. Both our bikes got trashed, mine beyond repair!"

"I can't believe the Foot did this to us!" Raph scowled, banging a railing. "I can't believe they took our home!"

"Not like it's happened before." Cath sighed, remembering their first home being destroyed by Stockman's Mousers.

"Not helping, Cath." Raph frowned, putting his fists on the railing.

"Listen, Raph, nothing is permanent." Leo said, touching his shoulder. "We have to flow with change."

"Perhaps Leonardo has learned a thing or two from the Ancient One." Splinter noted.

They both looked at each other.

"Yes, I can see it in your eyes. I have my son back." Splinter said.

"I knew you were back to normal, Leo." Cath said, approaching him.

Splinter looked at Leo carefully, knowing he wanted to face Karai.

"And I can see something else in your eyes. You must be careful, my son." Splinter advised, touching Leo's shoulder. "She will be well guarded, and her skills are much improved."

He lay down against a pillow Cath had brought him.

"So are mine, Sensei." Leo said, wrapping a blanket around him. "I'll be fine, I promise. Now, get some rest."

Splinter fell asleep and got up, as his siblings all stared at him.

"I'm gonna go get some food and supplies." Leo explained. "I'll be back."

"Hey, Leo, bring back some sodas or something?" Raph asked.

"And maybe some stuff to help me with our injures?" Cath asked. "I'm nearly out due to our lair being destroyed."

"And some Pizza, and Chinese food?" Mikey added, as Leo walked off towards the door.

Klunk meowed as Mikey got up, who then crouched down near him.

"And some kibble." he added.

Later, as the full Moon shined over the city, Leo stared at the Foot Skyscraper, from the rooftop of a building even higher than it, that was nearby. He turned and ran away slightly, then turned and took out a grappling hook from his belt. He ran along the rooftop, then jumped off it, then he spun the grappling hook around, before throwing it up, which wrapped around an interior support beam. He swung forward on the rope, then let go and landed on the roof.

He approached the edge, seeing a Foot standing guard nearby with a spear. He jumped down from the roof, landing in a three-point stance, then turned and dashed into a doorway, unnoticed by the Foot.

Inside, Karai was in the Oroku Saki Memorial Library, staring at her father's statue from the shadows. She came out of it, wearing her armour, while carrying a sword and her helmet. She turned and bowed on her knees near the statue, then removed the wrapping from the sword - showing it was the same one Saki had tried to give Leo during their first meeting years ago. She put it on a stand in front of the statue, when the 'Sewer Sweet Sewer' sign swung over and landed near the sword.

"Hello, Karai." Leo said, who was perched on top of a display case behind her. "Got your message."

"I am impressed." Karai admitted, turning her head slightly. "Security here is very tight, and yet here you are, undetected."

Leo jumped off the display case, then stared at Karai.

"So, you are the new Shredder?" Leo said.

Karai got up and picked up her sword and helmet, which she put on.

"Yes." she said, turning around, before pulling her sword out. "And I am your doom!"

Leo pulled his left sword out, then twirled it around, before he got ready to fight his former friend.

"You have gone too far this time, Karai." Leo said.

"Not far enough. Not until you lie battered and broken at my feet!" Karai retorted. "Only then will my father truly be avenged! Make no mistake, Leonardo, son of Splinter, hated enemy of my father. Your path ends here!"

They both charged at each other, then Leo blocked her sword with his own, then he rolled forward as she spun around and tried again. She tried again while turning around, but missed as he remained crouched, then he got up and turned around, before they locked their swords together, while he also grabbed her left forearm.

"I remember when we first met, Karai." Leo grunted, remembering how they ended the war in the city over a year ago. "We fought side-by-side, and I said you were nothing like your father!"

He bent back onto his shell, pulling Karai with him, making them roll away, before they stopped, with Karai lying on the floor, their swords still locked together.

"I thought you understood honor, but I was wrong! You're exactly like him!" Leo growled. "You understand nothing!"

He jumped over Karai, who raised her legs to kick him, before she flipped herself up onto her feet. He landed with his hands on the floor, before he flipped away, landing on his shell, with his shell to her back. She turned around and tried to slash him, but he blocked her sword with his own - while still keeping his back to her - then she turned around and knocked her sword out of his hands.

"AHH!" she yelped.

The sword landed on the arms of her father's statue.

"No, you will pay!" Karai said, trying to slash Leo with her gauntlet.

She missed as he ducked down, then grabbed her sword holder and pulled it away.

"You must pay!" she snarled, blocking the holder with her left arm.

She then sent a kick at Leo, who blocked it with his sword, then tried to stab him with her gauntlet, but missed as he ducked slightly. She then ducked as he tried to slash her with the sword holder, then shot a manriki-gusari from her back at him. It wrapped around the sword holder as he got up, then he grunted as he tried to pull it free.

"Ah!" Leo yelped, as Karai pulled the holder free from his hand.

She backed away and did a sideways handspring, before she threw the holder away with her manriki-gusari, as a hook came out of one end, which she held up. She spun the chain end around, as Leo pulled out his other sword, holding his left one up backwards. He then jumped up, as she threw the chain end at him, but he somersaulted forward and sliced it up.

"No!" Karai cried.

She blocked Leo's swords with the hook end as he landed in front of her, then he jumped and tried to slash her, but she backed away and blocked his left sword.

"I must have my revenge!" she declared, backing away, as he sent two more slashes.

She turned and ran off slightly, then stopped and turned to Leo, who charged at her. He gritted his teeth as he spun around and sent four slashes at her, slicing her helmet to pieces.

"Ah!" she gasped.

She touched the sides of her head, as Leo turned around.

"Your own angry defeats you, Karai. You remind me of a Turtle I used to know." Leo said, referring to him when he had his PTSD.

He raised his swords up, as Karai took off the symbol on her belt, showing it was a radio.

"Security to the library…" she said.

Leo sliced the radio in half before she could finish, shocking her. Leo jumped over her, then rested his right sword on her shoulder near her neck, making her fall to her knees.

"Go ahead. Do it. Finish me." she said, knowing she was defeated.

Leo pulled his sword away from her, shocking her.

"No." he said.

He put his swords away, as Karai turned around.

"I'm granting you one last chance to do the right thing, Karai." he said. "Don't waste it."

He turned around and walked towards the statue.

"And Karai, stay away from my family!" he yelled, jumping up, grabbing the sword on it.

He sliced the head of the statue, then tossed the sword away as he landed crouched down in front of Karai, the sword getting wedged into the floor. He turned and ran off, as the statue's head fell off and rolled towards Karai, who then picked it up.

A bunch of Foot Ninja stormed into the room from all sides and ran towards her.

"Mistress Karai, is everything alright?" one asked.

Karai turned left and saw two upper windows flapping in the wind, telling her Leo had escaped.

Later, Leo had returned to the pumping station, entering the room his family was in with a duffel bag. He approached his siblings, who all sat or lay on the floor, then opened up the bag.

"Did someone mention food?" he asked, pulling out some containers of Chinese food.

"Chinese food for breakfast?" Mikey said, as he and Donnie caught one. "Works for me."

"Same here. I'm starving." Elisa said, catching one.

Leo approached Cath and handed her some old blankets.

"I found these for your First-Aid Kit." he said.

"Thanks, Leo." Cath said.

She put then down, then Leo gave her a container.

"I've checked it out and this seems like a safe place, Master Splinter." Leo explained, handing one to Raph. "We could stay here, maybe even fix it up a bit."

"It is as the great sage, Shinto Sakamoto once said, home is where you hang your hat." Splinter said, agreeingly.

Leo put his bag down in front of Splinter while getting on his knees. He reached into his bag, then took out the walking stick, making of ornate.

"This walking stick is said to have come from a very ancient and mystic tree." he explained. "I got it with the Ancient One."

Splinter took it from him, admiring it carefully.

"I've carried it all the way for you." Leo explained.

"Ah, a very gracious gift." Splinter said, before they bowed to each other. "Thank you, Leonardo. Welcome home."

Outside, the sun began to rise up over the city, starting a new day, and a new life for the Mutant family in their new home under the pumping station.
