"Star vs the Forces of Evil" inspired this quick idea! :) I just began watching the show and haven't finished it yet. However, I came up with this concept while watching it.

I was hesitant to upload this, ngl- ToT

Garmadon, the evil Oni Lord, has a son whom he loves. His son, Lloyd Garmadon, is a young human-oni-dragon hybrid with incredible untapped potential! Garmadaddy attempts to teach Lloyd about the ways of evil in order to bring out his true potential. But he notices that his son isn't really grasping his lessons.

Garmadon, for example, attempted to teach Lloyd how to levitate and crush his enemies to death. But what did Lloyd do with that information? He assisted animals trapped in a tree by levitating them to safety. Garmadaddy taught Lloyd the dark art of resurrecting the dead; what did Lloyd do with that knowledge? He attempted to resurrect a lonely lizard's deceased relative, which did NOT go well (though he did earn points for successfully reanimating it)! Garmadon taught Lloyd how to shapeshift so that he could deceive the dragons. But what did Lloyd do with this knowledge? He transformed into a shark so he could play in the water with his sea buddies! ... Okay, there's actually nothing wrong with that. That's adorable.

Garmadon doesn't know what to do! Lloyd is supposed to gain ultimate power and become the Golden Master; his Oni and Dragon power, when combined and mastered, would be unbeatable! But, at this point, it doesn't seem like that's going to happen...

So he does what any reasonable parent would do! He sends Lloyd to a top secret specialty school on Earth that is known for training and nurturing the most heinous of criminals! "Darkley's Boarding School for Bad Boys!"

Lloyd moves in with Brad and Gene. But as most would expect, they're not friendly towards someone who's "good." Lloyd finds it odd how it got out that he was sent for not being "bad" enough, but they don't know who his father is or the fact that he's from a different realm (DIMENSION?) entirely. Oh well, that might be for the best (spoiler alert: they find out anyway-).

The lines between good and evil begin to blur as our new trio discovers a malicious plot that threatens not only the Earth realm but all sixteen realms. Who will see the plot through to the end? Who will rise against it? Who is truly good and who is truly evil? Is it possible for someone to be purely one or the other?

The following are some mini ideas I had:

ONE: The theme could be about what makes a person morally good or bad. Something along those lines, but with deeper, more thought-provoking philosophical themes, because I can't think of any, oof. In an effort to better understand himself, Lloyd observes his surroundings and the actions of those around him.

TWO: Lloyd has visited Earth only once before. It was when he was being taken care of by his mother. He doesn't remember much from back then—wait, is his mother still on Earth!? Would he be able to see her!? Sneaking out of Darkley's would be so fun!

NOTE: Garmadon probably has a LOT of enemies, so sneaking out would be risky... but nevertheless fun!-

THREE: I imagine Garmadon constantly contacting Lloyd through the use of shadows. Speaking of magic, I think Lloyd would use his powers all the time, but discreetly. Maybe for some pranks or to yeet a bully. He doesn't keep his powers a secret, but he doesn't flaunt them either. He's not in complete control of his abilities, so there are bound to be mishaps. ToT

FOUR: I imagine Darkley's having a dark-ish atmosphere, but there's still color, so it isn't dull. (Imagine if weapons were just lying around for anyone to grab-). Speaking of colors, I can see Lloyd's color scheme being darker too.

FIVE: I love the idea of Lloyd, Brad, and Gene becoming friends, just being kids, and participating in daily shenanigans! Brad TuDabone's family could be the Mafia or the Yakuza, whereas Gene's family is filled with mad scientists!

SIX: The Lloyd in this AU has more physical attributes that are a result of him being part hooman, part oni, and part dragon. But he's able to conceal those features because of his oni powers.

If I could, I'd use the strikethrough font for "good" in the title and then type "evil" afterwards. But it probably wouldn't show up on this platform, oof. Well, either title works!

It won't let me use an exclamation and question mark together- ;-;
