With my new friends freed we made our way towards the ruins, specifically the statue guarding the sword. Something told me whoever could pull the sword would be given a test, if they passed they would be reward in some way. As I theorized I could pull the sword, it was here this test took all my skills to accomplish, dodging every obstacle it threw at me to pass the trial this test gave me, in the end I managed to pass this test, but as the test was done a message meant for me begun to play
Light Spyro: Dawson Shearer, it has been some time since I last saw you, I am Light Spyro. If you're seeing this message then you have passed the test that has been given to you, as for what you come here to find is something I prepared myself. I built this ruins myself here for a reason, not to just keep evil from find this gift but to ensure it falls into your hands, take what i like to call a Dragon-Powered Suit, use it to light our darkest hour.
With the message done the suit Light Spyro had given me that I had equipped was able to recover all my abilities as well as allowing me access to my abilities that were unknown at the time, these items were the plasma beam, the gravity suit, and the space jump.
Sonic: You look good in that armor Daws, I say it suits you.
Everyone (Except Me and Sonic) : Now is not the time for jokes Sonic.
Dawson: Sonic, our job is not yet done we still have a villain on the loose, and I say its time we bring him to justice, let the hunt begin.
