We then cut back to a section of the Spectator's Suite. The sun has set and Lightning and William are watching the TV to know what's happening. They had just watched MacArthur getting blown up by Josee's Killer Queen.

"Wow, what a spectacle. Think you could have beaten her with your electric bird?" William asked.

"I would have. You seen how her cat Stand couldn't move more than a few meters away from her?" Lightning got offended by the answer. "I basically have infinite range if I have the electricity to do it!"

"Sure, you have wide range, but as that girl who trapped you in the stone wall said. It isn't your ability, it's how you use it." William states. "Besides, can you really outsmart her? She's got more fury than my friend's father."

"Eh, I might, but damn, that bitch is scary." Lightning says.

Suddenly, a blue light flashes, and MacArthur appears in front of the couch, and crashes on the floor.

"Gah! Man! That was rough!" MacArthur groaned. "Ugh! I just knew she'd do something like this!"

"Well, I don't think the three of us can do anything to even interfere with it now." William says. "All we can do is hope she won't be in the top five."

"I hope she doesn't go within the top 25. She doesn't deserve to." MacArthur says.

"Yeah, if anyone deserves to be in the top 5, it's me!" Lightning says.

"Really? I've seen the TV show you were on. I know how you acted competitively. Frankly, you were ignorant and selfish." MacArthur states.

"Guys, just stop arguing." William says. "Nothing we can do now, so might as well relax." William states. "I'm gonna get a bite from the dining area. Want to join."

"Yeah, it's about time I get to eat like a pig rather than trying to ration my supplies." MacArthur states. "I'm game."

3 Days Later… Current Count Left: 47

It's been a few days since the third death. A lot of people began to become wary of each other, but moved on nonetheless. They have all managed to move past the next checkpoint, with Yana taking the third time bonus. The next stage of the race is labeled "The Great Wide Plains", and spans from Cañon City to Kansas City, around 1000 km. Around a week and a half travel time with relative climate. We see a group resting in the checkpoint between the 3rd and 4th stages, consisting of Finn, Gru and Lucy.

"Look, I just think it's a bad idea to let Vector off on his own." Gru says. "With his unpredictable nature, who knows what kind of stuff he'll do?"

"Just relax. Maybe he won't encounter us for the next few weeks." Lucy says.

"Ugh, that guy always has something up his sleeve!" Gru states.

"Hmm, should I look out for him?" Finn asked while holding a coffee cup.

"Ugh, yes. Just don't let your guard down by his weird personality." Gru says.

"Okay, noted." Finn says as he takes a sip. "What was he in your universe?"

"A villain who competed against me to steal the moon." Gru says. "To be frank, it now sounds ridiculous after all these years.

"Stealing the moon, eh?" Finn states. "Pretty weird, and I live in a kind of post-apocalypse."

"Wait, what?!" Gru exclaimed.

"Nothing, nothing." Finn says.

Suddenly, another racer appears as she crossed the finish line. The three looked on and see that the new arrival was Ranger Tabes.

"Ah, finally. Resupply." Tabes states as she sighed.

Tabes jumps down her horse and walks over to the others.

"Hey guys. Have you heard the new elimination?" Tabes asked.

"Yeah. Three have already been eliminated." Finn says. "The competition is starting to get heated. Some are willing to ruthlessly kill to win."

"Isn't that part of the game? Don't get me wrong, it's messed up." Gru says.

"Yeah. Hopefully we can get less risk for the race and play it safe." Finn states.

"I think the opposite. We should try and put a stop to them before they can hurt anymore racers." Lucy says.

"How do you think we can do that? It's not like we have a trace of them?" Gru asked.

"Actually, I managed to find one." Tabes says.

Ranger Tabes pulls out a piece of pink cloth and showed it to the three.

"I managed to find these a day after the third elimination. A bunch of char marks and a campsite were the only other things there." Tabes says.

"Hmm… mind if I check it?" Lucy asked.

"Alright. You seem like you know what you're doing." Tabes says.

Lucy holds the piece of cloth, and begins to glow a purple pink aura.

"Alright. Let's find whoever did it." Lucy states. "King Nothing."

Suddenly, a figure emerges from Lucy, and only Ranger Tabes and Gru can see it. A lilac colored hollow figure made entirely of jigsaw pieces with two drooped horns and blue long shield shaped eyes.

"Whoa! A jigsaw puzzle?" Tabes exclaimed.

"So, you see it, huh? Well, lucky to have another Stand user in our group." Lucy states.

"Um, I don't… have a Stand." Finn says.

"Oh, right. Sorry." Lucy says. "Just stick with us for now, until you can get one."

"Now what exactly does your King Nothing do?" Tabes asked.

"Just watch. Once it does what it does, we can find whoever is starting to kill off the competition." Lucy says.

Suddenly, the jigsaw pieces of the Stand begin to break apart and some begin to surround the piece of cloth, and seem to be sniffing it.

"As long as there is a scent, my King Nothing will be able to track down who it is." Lucy says. "The ability of tracking. Pretty neat if you ask me."

After some of the pieces finish familiarising themselves with the smell, the jigsaw pieces begin to conjoin together and for into a figure different to King Nothing's base form. They recognise the figure formed in the shape of Josee, with a missing piece of cloth on her top.

"So, is this our suspect?" Tabes asked.

"Yep. And she doesn't seem to fit the name of any of the three who were eliminated." Lucy says. "My ability can form smells into shapes, and can create accurate similarities just from the scent."

The jigsaw Josee began to move, and formed a horse riding motion as she zoomed through the town.

"Hmm, it looks like she already passed here. King Nothing can still detect traces of her in this town." Lucy says.

"Well, splendid, we'll stop her in no time!" Tabes says. "Anyone want to come with me?"

"Ooh! Me! I want!" Lucy yells.

"Eh, why not." Gru states. "I'll just get some supplies."

"I'm game." Finn says.

Suddenly, from a building next to them, a boxed meal was seen moving out of the door? The box seemed to be heading towards the team, and this doesn't go unnoticed.

"Whoa! Is that moving towards us?!" Tabes exclaimed.

"Calm down. It's not a threat." Gru says.

Gru walks over and picks up the boxed meal, revealing tiny figures under it, all looking the same. They have oval insect like bodies, 4 articulate arms, 3 fingers on each hand and two legs, with a large section on theur posteriors resembling a bee's abdomen. They're colored yellow with dark purple horizontal stripes, and their faces act like pockets to store smaller items.

"The supplies are here. There are more coming." Gru says. "My Stand, Harvest can work together in search of specific objects. With it, resupplies are made easy."

Suddenly, more items were seen moving out of buildings and alleys, with similar figures carrying all those items. Once the figures were close enough to drop the supplies, the group could see that it was a total count of 500 units surrounding the group.

"Well I say. These buggers look useful." Tabes says. "After a quick resupply and we'll be all set for the hunt."

"Alright, let's begin to find a killer." Lucy says.
