authors note : Thank you my readers stay tuned.
As friends and Nathan's parents came to the hospital. After Nathan reached out and told everyone what happened.
The Tree Hill Private Hospital's waiting room was filled with various supporters of Nathan and Haley.
"We've waited long enough Haley's siblings are all over the globe."
"Her parents are gone. We are her family." Brooke proclaimed.
Peyton ran her hands through her hair. Feeling her hand get taken.
Jake scooped her into his arms in a hug.
Peyton hated doctors. Hospitals. But Haley was her friend.
And she wouldn't abandon her.
Lucas couldn't help but notice that Nathan wasn't exactly close by.
So he could get the support he needed instead.
He was off to the side with Rachel.
"I have every right to be here too. Nathan and I are friends." Rachel proclaimed.
When the doctor who was there when Haley was brought in. Comes through the ER doors.
Nathan got up and ran over there.
"How is my wife.? And how is our baby.?" Nathan questioned.
...
Haley awoke slowly. Taking in her new surroundings.
She knew right away she was in a hospital.
She put her hands on her belly. And felt no movement at all from the baby. Just raw pain and soreness.
Nathan entered the hospital room and closed the door behind himself.
He walked over there slowly. Sat down in a chair beside the bed.
"I found you in the parking lot of the doctor's office. You were passed out and bleeding."
"I carried you. Not wanting to wait for an ambulance."
"I don't care about me. Where is she.?"
"Nathan where is my daughter.?" Haley questioned.
"She's in the NICU." He replied.
"I was only 24 weeks pregnant."
"I want to see her." Haley proclaimed.
Nathan's head was spinning with thoughts.
His heart heavy.
"No. You've gone through enough today." Nathan replied.
"Nathan please! She's all alone in there."
"I'll go myself!" Haley proclaimed.
Nathan knew that wasn't possible her body had endured alot of trauma today.
So he helped her out of bed and into a wheelchair.
...
As he wheeled her through the hallway and into the NICU.
He hated himself now more then ever. The doctors said these things happen and you aren't to blame.
But Nathan knew different. His actions and words. Caused his wife to go into early labor.
The stress and turmoil.
Once they got to where their daughter was.
Haley laid her hands on the incubator.
Nathan had been shown how to take and place back his daughter.
He saw Haley's arms open. He knew she was desperate to hold their daughter.
So he did what he could and brought the small infant into Haley's arms.
He couldn't remove his gaze from Haley and the baby.
She had transformed. She was a mother now.
And he was a father.
Haley cradled the baby in her hands.
"You are so beautiful. And strong."
"Nadia Nicole Scott."
"You hang on. Fight for me."
"Once you get out of here. You'll have a big spacious nursery."
"I'll sing you all the lullabies and read all the books you want."
"I want to take you home with me." Haley said.
The emotion in her voice thick.
