And really mean it.
Nadia Scott spent 5 months in the hospital after being born earlier then expected. She was the strongest tie between her parents. To say life when back to normal for the couple once she was brought home.
Wouldn't be being honest. They were pushed to their limits caring for her. But they were on stable yet fragile ground.
Haley placed down a third plate at the kitchen table.
The echo of Nadia practicing a song her mom had taught her on the piano. Fills the kitchen and the hallway.

Relieved to finally seeing Nathan replying back at her.
Games and practices had been keeping Nathan exhausted and staying later then normal with his team.
Haley sighed the plate from where Nathan would of been seated.

Her baby girl's presence instantly made the mood light.
Nadia had been officially started learning to play the instruments at 5. She was 8 now. And she had her mom's natural musical talent.
Along with the parts of her that came from Nathan which were very much there. Just not as obvious.
"Daddy's going to miss having one of grandma Lydia's recipes."
"Why is never home anymore.?" Nadia asked.
"He has an important job. They need his time and attention."
"We just have to be patient and understanding." Haley explained.
"You're important too momma. And you're always home for breakfast and dinner." Nadia pointed out as she took her seat at the dining room table.
