Naruto had just finished his medical checkup with the team medical doctor and he was finally allowed to put in some extra work with the team trainers.

"Hey Naruto, my name's Gabriel and I'm one of the trainers that will be working with you during this offseason till it's time for pre-season." Naruto shook the Caucasian bald man's hand as he was currently wearing a Newcastle training tracksuit. "Well, then what is that you want to work on this week?"

"This week?"

"Well yeah we need to have a schedule, in order for you to get good at something you need to do it over and over again, so a week of practise in some specific drills will help." Naruto nodded as he understood what Gabriel was saying, "Well then let's go to the field." Walking outside the building, Naruto and Gabriel decided to work on the following:

1. Penalty Shooting
2. Simple Free Kicks
3. Crosses
4. Attacking Positions
5. Passing

This was Naruto's regimen through out the entire off season, as other players were busy relaxing and having fun times with their family, Naruto was on the Arsenal training ground working very hard in order for himself to adapt to the way English football was played, Naruto had the mentality of a legendary work ethic he would spend the entire day and night working on his skill, such drive being seen in a youngster was very surprising for Gabriel, he never expected a youngster to be so dedicated to the game, but when he understood he just had a smirk of pride. The pair became very good friends over their tenure and when it was time for Naruto to be introduced to the team, the blond was ready.

Arsenal Training Center

Naruto was currently wearing a white top with red Arsenal shorts, as he was busy stretching, Arsene Wenger was currently wearing his iconic Arsenal black track suit as he held a white board, signalling to his assistant coach to blow the whistle, the team met up close to the gaffer.

"Alright guys, bring it in." Arsene greeted the footballers who all greeted back everyone looked at Arsene who continued "I just want to say welcome to the new faces joining us. Today marks the first step in their journey of becoming a regular on this squad, so I just want those who have been here for awhile to be there for the new faces. Now gentlemen I just want to make it clear that you all had your month on the beach but now it's time for us to get back to work. We have this Asia tour that's coming up, against some of Asia's top quality opposition, just because were going to Asia doesn't mean we will shatter the team like it's nothing. We need to be serious when it comes to these type of matches so starting today I don't want to see anyone slacking about. It's a new season guys, and this season the board sees us winning some silverware and I plan to deliver to them, so we need to hit peak fitness levels for the start of the season. Understood?"

"Yes boss." Most of the players said as some nodded in agreement. "Good, let's start with a 11v11 match, then." All the players from last years starting eleven went to one side of pitch while the subs and reserves went to the other side. "Naruto, a word." The blond was called over by Arsene Wenger. "How are you feeling about playing against the starting 11?"

"I'm feeling good, boss. I'm ready to go."

"That's what I like to hear."

11v11 scrimmage

Naruto POV

I was wearing a green bib, as I would be playing with the subs and some of the reserves. The starters won the kick off and so, Giroud started the game. Passing to Podolski, I went in to press as he quickly passed to the right side of the field for the ball to be trapped by Aaron Ramsey. Staying in my position, I watched as the starters tried to create some open space but they couldn't break open our defense, out of no where Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain intercepted the ball before they could enter the box. He passed to the Right Back who was already attacking, running up the field I tried to get myself into an attacking position but Koscielny was on to me, when the right back passed to me I tried to trap the ball but Koscielny just swatted it out of my feet.

The starters tried again to attack, as this time they went with a cross attempt, Giroud was running in and he was doing it with purpose. Luckily our goalkeeper was able to save the ball before he could do anything dangerous. A couple minutes later I had a chance to score, you see Oxlade-Chamberlain went on the offense as I followed him closely, Koscielny was coming in to slide tackle the ball out of Alex's feet, but Alex kicked the ball over Koscielny, I was in the box the moment that happened, looking up I aimed for the top corner but the Goalie was able to save the ball.

I just groaned heavily when that happened. Trying again a couple passes later, this time I tried to set up one of my teammates as this wasn't working out, the scrimage was long but sadly it ended only as 0-0.

Everyone was gathered in front of Arsene who looked satisfied. "That's all for oday, guys. Get some rest tonight."
