Coming to aid the Washington Monument Evac Site, Hunter Team 2 hits the Russian offensive with every heavy firepower they have. Their M32 Grenade Launchers and M72 LAWs (light anti-tank weapon) wiped the enemy lines off the map and gave the site much needed breathing room.

But the Russians called in a QRF (Quick Reaction Force) the moment they were being flanked, and the reinforcements arrived in almost an instant. With that, the site is back under heavy fire and Hunter Team 2 scrambles to control the situation.

More civilians start appearing and running past and across the front lines to get to the site's underground shelter. Ramirez covers the northeast line, Morgan covers the north, and Dunn covers the northwest while Foley, McCord and Wade protect the underground shelter, help the wounded and coordinate with the site's commander.

The commander wanted to call for a broken arrow, but Foley assured him that the site is protected by the best. Out there is half of Hunter Team 2 backed by the U.S. Army and Marine Corps. National Guard troops.

Despite Ramirez, Dunn and Morgan taking out the heavy armor, the Russians started weakening the defensive line by destroying its automated sentry miniguns and picking off the soldiers and marines fast. Ramirez is coordinating closely with Marine National Guard Sgt. Wright as he is a fan of the Army Ranger's special skills and is the last NCO standing tasked to the northeast line.

Some of the downed soldiers and marines are not dead yet and Ramirez starts getting them inside the shelter while Sgt. Wright covers him. For a regular marine, Wright was doing well picking off Russian paratroopers and halting their planned offensive.

Then he spots two sniper teams on the horizon. He got down but started returning fire immediately when he saw a precise bullet hit and ricochet Ramirez's helmet.

He shot and killed the two-man sniper team that fired at Ramirez, but the second sniper team picked him off. Ramirez sees Wright covering his wounded neck and starts carrying him to the shelter.

Inside, Ramirez has his hands full with wounded soldiers and marines, including Wright, waiting for help from the site's medics, corpsmen, civilian doctors and nurses. And suddenly, Wright tells Ramirez to take his med kit and help his men first.

He tries to go as fast as possible so that he can attend to his marine friend again, but when he finished, Wright whispered saying he lost his voice and he can't handle the pain. So Ramirez gave him a shot of morphine to ease the pain and Wright appreciated it as it gave him an easier death.

Wright wanted Ramirez to keep holding their line, so he reloaded and gave him his M16A4 with a Trijicon ACOG, PEQ-15 IR Aiming Laser, and Hi-Point 995 Tactical LED Flashlight. And Ramirez stayed with Wright for a few more seconds until he died of blood loss.

He also gave a short, silent prayer for him before he got back to the line. There, he saw himself as the only one left alive, so he got to work immediately with a sense of responsibility to avenge his fallen brothers and friends.

With lightning-quick reflexes and laser-like accuracy, Ramirez killed every Russian soldier going on the offensive. He even killed the sniper team that killed Wright with his M16A4.

With the numbers on their side, the Russians reached the trench, so Ramirez engaged them in close quarters. He checks the trench and the open field fast to avoid getting surrounded, switching from his rifles to his pistols and then his knife.

One Russian got cocky and tried to sneak up on Ramirez with his knife, but the Army Ranger caught his first strike, gave him a quick headbutt before he could counter, and stabbed him with his own weapon in the throat. Seeing the Russian Army still rising from their trenches, Ramirez quickly reloaded his guns, ready to fight off the next wave.

But reinforcements called in by the site's commander arrived and overwhelmed the enemy. The platoon commander told Ramirez to get back inside as they will take the defensive positions of the fallen, but before he did, he saw the Russian soldier he stabbed struggling to stay alive, so he took the man's knife still jammed in his throat and stabbed him with it again in the eye and the brain simultaneously, instantly killing him.

Exhausted and out of breath, Ramirez sat down and looked at the site's medical personnel taking the wounded and dead to the medical hall, including Wright. Then he looked at the civilians in front of him and started talking.

Ramirez: Is everyone okay?

Male Civilian 1: Yeah, man. You?

Ramirez: Likewise.

Female Civilian 1: Are we gonna be fine?

Ramirez: Yes, ma'am. Reinforcements just arrived and your evac is almost here.

Female Civilian 1: Thank God.

And then, in the middle of the crowd.

Grace: James?

Ramirez: Grace? *sighs* Thank God you're safe.

Grace: Yeah, likewise.

Tucker Carlson: You know him?

Grace: Yeah, dude. Staff Sergeant James Ramirez, my boyfriend.

Tucker Carlson: Wow. Good to meet you, Staff Sergeant.

Ramirez: Good to finally meet you. A fan of your talking points.

Tucker Carlson: Thanks.

The platoon commander then chimes in.

Platoon Commander: You're Staff Sergeant James Ramirez?

Ramirez: Yes, sir I am.

Platoon Commander: So you're the nut who single-handedly defended this line, left all those dead Russians in our trench, and halted an entire enemy offensive in five minutes flat before we got here?

Ramirez: Is that what I did? Must be the longest five minutes I've ever felt.

Platoon Commander: Yep, site commander saw everything from the security cameras. I know Rangers are crazy but not terrifyingly insane to pull something like that off.

Ramirez: Just did what I could to protect these people, captain.

The platoon commander nods while Grace looks at the trench being cleared of Russian corpses and starts staring at Ramirez in awe.

Grace: D-Does that explain the blood all over you?

Ramirez: Yeah, I got no wounds, so none of these are mine.

Grace: *stammering* And after all that, you ask us if we're okay?

Ramirez: And I'd do that all over again.

Grace hugs Ramirez in worry.

Grace: You might just be the most selfless man I've ever known.

Ramirez: Aw, thanks.

Male Civilian 2: Damn dude. Being Grace Cameron's boyfriend is impressive enough. But taking on a whole army by yourself? That's another level.

Ramirez: Hey, I'm your friend against bum-rushing terrorists and invading, killer Russians, sir.

Foley then calls Hunter Team 2 to regroup.

Foley: All Hunter Team 2 callsigns, regroup at the main entrance. The site's about to receive evac vehicles and the Russians are flanking from behind. And we're tasked to clear them out and buy the civilians all the time we can, over.

Dunn: Roger that.

Morgan: Roger that.

McCord: Roger that.

Ramirez: Roger that.

Wade: Roger, on my way.

With that, Ramirez tells Grace that he's leaving.

Grace: Do you really need to go?

Ramirez: Yeah. Evac is now in progress and we need to hold off the Russians until you're all away.

Grace: Shit, James. Take care of yourselves, okay?

Ramirez: We will. See you soon, I hope.

Grace: Me too. I love you.

Ramirez: I love you too, Grace.

Then Ramirez goes through the med hall and regroups with Hunter Team 2.

Wade: I heard about Wright, Ramirez. I'm sorry.

Ramirez: Me too.

Foley: Listen up! This evac site is getting hit hard and we need to buy 'em some time! Hooah?

All: Hooah!

Then the mission kicks off with Hunter Team 2 and some Army National Guard support advancing on the evac site's overran main building, with Sergeant Sandler (Private Sandler in the original) being the last surviving member of the Ranger Team's National Guard support during the assault. It goes down the same way with Ramirez staying mostly silent with deadly focus and giving important calls throughout.

On the roof, Ramirez helps the SEAL Team 3 extraction unit thin the Russian counterattack that are chasing him and Hunter Team 2 (with Sandler) before getting on Dagger 2-1. And with fast aiming of the chopper's M134 Minigun, he clears out the entire Russian anti-air team and SAM battery on the Department of Justice before getting shot down.
