Edward's POV:
Two Years Later~
"Daddy, I'm hungry." Olivia, or Livey, as she preferred to be called these days, whispered as she stood by our bed.
I peeked through my lashes, before opening them to find her pouting.
"Alright, well, let's allow mommy to get some more rest." I told her as I got out of bed.
She nodded, jumping from one foot to the other as she waited for me to pull on my shoes.
I shook my head at her antics, before I grabbed her hand and led her to the kitchen and began making her some breakfast as I thought back to how our lives had changed so much in the last two years.
Upon arriving back to New York I confronted my father asking him about what Bella had just told me.
And confess he did.
He told me about how he only just discovered about Rene and Charles being false identities but he couldn't figure out who they truly were, which is why he never said anything.
As Bella had told me, she wasn't sure who to trust, even now she was hesitant to see any one of our family members.
I wouldn't blame her, especially after the shit Aro pulled in Bora Bora.
Even now, years later, after his divorce with Sulpicia and her disappearance, he hasn't fully recovered from the guilt.
No one has seen her since she left. Personally I don't care, but my mom did.
Moving on, when Bella arrived back to New York, Rosalie asked to come with me to see her.
To my surprise, when Bella saw her she screamed and ran to hug her. They cried and were talking a mile a minute.
When they both calmed down they explained to me that Bella had contacted her after she realized she was pregnant and asked Rose to keep it to herself, which she did. I couldn't be angry at Rose, she's a fiercely protective person.
Then we both got to meet Olivia for the first time. And it was then that I knew one could fall in over twice in your life.
She is everything I ever imagined when I thought about having a daughter. She's sweet, intuitive, and sassy.
We ended up heading to eat at the small diner that was located near the hotel.
As we made our way over there we ran into Tanya.
She almost hit Olivia with her big ass purse, and Bella snapped at her to watch where she dragged her cheap knock offs. When Tanya tried to attack her, Bella didn't hesitate to defend herself or to call the police to press charges after she did. I was proud of her.
When the visit ended, it was harder to leave, knowing I wouldn't be seeing either of them for the next two months.
Bella promised to video call us every chance she and Olivia had as we left.
Even though the time flew by, she made good on her promise.
Once her tour finished she told me she was finally ready to see the rest of the family. Just not at the house, somewhere public like the hotel restaurant.
As soon as my mother saw her and Olivia, she began crying hysterically as she pulled them into a hug and wouldn't let them go.
Each one of them introduced themselves to Olivia and then apologized to Bella individually. We all apologized for our past actions and hoped to be able to rectify the situation if given the chance.
Bella agreed with the condition that they be constant to Olivia. Which I wholeheartedly agreed with.
It was a relief for all of us to finally be able to correct our past mistakes. Especially me.
When I saw Bella next, she told me Rose had told her she had finally set the date for her and Emmett's wedding, which she was already excited to be planning.
Eventually Rosalie and Emmett decided to get married in a small intimate wedding, but had a massive reception for the families in the syndicate as did Alice and Jasper shortly after them.
When my parents asked us when we planned on having more kids, Bella told them that I had to make an honest woman out of her first, leaving amused as my parents stared at me in surprised confusion.
She left me to explain what had happened to our marriage, to which they looked scandalized at me. But I explained to them what happened and told them they should be happy that we're even talking.
Later my mother pulled her aside and asked her what our plans for the future were.
When Bella replied that she wanted to speak to me about it first, my mother nodded and left it alone, but not before reminding her that she would always be a part of this family. No matter what.
A few weeks later, she finally told me that she wanted to be with me, but to take things slow, to which we agreed.
After that we spent the next year going out on dates and doing the long distance thing due to Olivia's schooling back in England.
When Olivia finally got out for the summer holiday, I decided to ask Bella to marry me, again, this time our way.
To my surprise she accepted, and we decided to get married quickly. Olivia, Bella and I took a trip to Las Vegas and we got married there, with nobody none the wiser. We also got matching tattoos to show our commitment to own another, aside from the new rings. she one the inside of her wrist.
Now, and a few months of alternating between England and New York, Olivia is once again on break. This time for Christmas.
We are currently all vacationing in a cabin in Aspen.
A pair of arms wrap themselves around my waist, bringing me out of my thoughts.
"Good morning, handsome." She whispered, with her voice still thick with sleep.
"G'Morning, beautiful." I muttered blinking.
"You burnt the pancakes." She told me amused, as she wrinkled her nose.
My head snaps to the side and I sigh, "Oh for fucksakes." I mumbled.
"Ooh daddy said a bad word." Livey says as she stretches out her hand, opening and closing it towards me.
I frown and reach for my wallet only to realize my wallet is in the drawer by the bed. "I'll pay you later." I told her.
Little shit has been pestering us all after she and Bella heard us cussing, thanks to Bella she asks us for a twenty each time. To say cussing has put a dent in our pocket is putting it lightly. So far Emmett and my Father are the ones who've lost the most money.
"Mom says later makes it double." She sings happily.
My eyes flash towards Bella's, who chuckles in response. "Sorry." She whispers, smiling unapologetically.
I scoff, "Yeah, yeah. Laugh it up, Bells, we both know who cusses when they get mad." I told her.
"You do." I hear Livey say dryly.
"Will you be quiet?" I told her playfully as I got the pancakes off the girdle and offered the plate to her.
She took it happily and poured a decent amount of syrup on top before Bella snatched the bottle and gave her a look.
"I like them sticky and gooey." She told her with a shrug.
Bella looked at me in exasperation, but I shook my head at her. "Hey, don't look at me, you used to eat them like that when you were that age." I told her as I turned back around and began making more pancakes.
"Whatever, Mr. Poophead." She mumbled before running away when I reached over to smack her ass with the spatula.
I heard a giggle coming from behind me, causing me to turn.
"Sorry, but that was funny. Mom always gets you mad." She told me before continuing to eat her pancakes.
I shook my head at her amused before turning back to the stove.
After we all finished, Bella cleaned the kitchen, so I could go change.
We had decided to take a break from all the activities and just stay indoors. Livey elected to watch Christmas movies with popcorn and soda pop.
She laid a blanket out, and watched the movies on the floor while Bella and I sat on the couch under a blanket.
It was five minutes til midnight when Bella turned to me with a smile.
"What? Do I have something on my face?" I asked, as I wiped my face with the back of my hand.
"No, you goober. I just want to give you your present before your family arrives tomorrow." She told me.
I raised a brow at her as she leaned over and took a rectangular box from the top of the pile and placed it in my lap.
I raised a brow at her, before she nodded encouragingly.
Suddenly I felt nervous as I pulled the green ribbon, and slowly pulled off the paper. Then I slowly pulled off the top of the box to see a small plastic object with a blue top.
I looked up at her confused.
"Read what it says." She says quietly, motioning toward Livey who had fallen asleep.
I looked back down to find it saying pregnant.
Wait.
I sharply turned to look at her, "Are you really—?" I asked, as a goofy smile pulled at my lips.
She nodded, "I found out a few days ago. I was waiting to tell you but I never found a chance so I did it like this." She said as her eyes began to shine with unshed tears.
I quickly reached over and pulled her into my lap, before pulling her face down towards mine.
"Merry Christmas, handsome." She whispered, as she kissed me.
I smiled and kissed her again, "Merry Christmas, amore mio."
And just like that I knew our past lives had stopped affecting us and we were finally moving on.
The End.
