No one POV

"Charlaaaaaa, would you like some of my fish?" Happy asked extending a freshly caught fish her direction.

"Hmph!" She said turning her head.

Again... why does Charla always say no... Happy thought his heart breaking.

"Okay Charla I get it." Happy said sadly then dropped the fish and walked out the guild...

"Has anyone seen Happy?" Lisanna asked. Her furry blue seudo child hadn't been seen for 2 days.

"Who saw him last?" Mirajane asked.

"I saw him two days ago. He came back from a small job with Charle and I." Wendy said.

"Happy is probably out fishing somewhere." Charle said. Her expression darkened as a sudden image of an unconscious happy flashed across her mind.

"Wendy... I don't think Happy is okay.." she said turning her head.

"Let's go Charle!" Wendy said.

"Wait!" Lisanna called out trying to chase after them.

"You stay here Lisanna." Master Makarov said.

"But Happy... he's," she pleaded.

"Happy will be fine. Trust your master" he said calmly, "yoooooo Mirajane!!! Another round please!" He said his drunken hue returning.

Charle POV

"Charle.." Wendy said, "where should we start?"

"Happy is probably at Natsu's place. We can check there." I said looking up at Wendy who was carrying me.

... I'll save you... just hold on...

An image of Happy pulling my paw his wings flapping hard .

"Happy!!! Look out!!" I yelled as a large hand grabbed him by the throat.

"Happy!!" I cried out.

"What's wrong Charle?" Wendy asked concerned.

"I think he's in..." I said. Jumping out of Wendy's arms use my Aera magic to carry us towards Natsu's place. When that turned up empty we searched Lucy's, the pond where he always fished, basically all of magnolia and No sign of Happy.

"I'm sorry Wendy..I saw..." I started tears filling my eyes.

"Is it possible he went to see the exceeds?" She asked.

"I don't know but we can go check." I replied picking her up and taking off towards the exceed home.

No one POV

"I swear it talks!" a man said, "he can fly too. He's one of those exceeds that we're found 9 or 10 years ago that guild brought over.

"NYAA" Happy said trying to sound like a real cat.

"I don't know looks like a cat to me.." another man said.

"He's fucking blue!" The other argued back.

"Fine I'll give you 500J for it." The larger man said.

"1000J" he countered.

"400J" the man said again.

"500J" the original man panicked.

"Deal. Take him to the back." The big one ordered.

"Come kitty you can stay back here..."

When he placed the cage in the back store house Happy looked around. There were a number of creatures locked away. Some small some big, but most were laying down. Looking to his right he saw a lifeless dog. Tears filled his eyes and he decided he was busting out with all these animals.

"It's no use..." a voice said. "Even if you have magic you won't be able to get anyone out.

"Who said that?" Happy asked. Turning se saw a female exceed she was white like Charle buy with black fur around her eye.

"Because... I tried..." she said then stepping more into the light. Her ear had been was missing a large piece and her arms were covered in scratches and dried blood. "Even if you get out... the hounds will catch you."

"Why didn't you fly?" he asked.

"I can't..." she said her shoulders trembling.

"Why..." he asked.

"My magic... I can't use it anymore." She said.

"What is your name? Mine is Happy. I'm from the Fairy Tail guild." Happy said smiling turning so his guild mark showed.

"Fairy tail..."

"Here??"

"He's a Guild wizard.."

"We might get out of here..."

Other small voices started.

"Shhhh everyone stay quiet we don't want to wake him.." she said.

"Wake who up?" Happy asked looking around the room he saw numerous pairs of eyes.

"Ramsey..." a little boy said.

"Are you... are you all exceeds?" Happy said squinting in the the dark.

"No we are the only exceeds. These are children..." the white cat said. "My name is "Orelith, but I go by Ori". She said looking up her.

"NOW WHO IS NEXT!!!!! I heard chatter!!!" The large man from earlier said bursting in the room.

"You!" He said walking over to a cage with a little boy. "Let's go!"

"No please!" The boy screamed as he took him out the door.

"What...what is he doing with these children..." Happy said.

"We don't know... they go in that door and don't come back.. or if they manage to survive they come back without magic... like me.." Ori said. Tears fell from Happy's eyes.

"I will get you out... all of you..."

Meanwhile...

Charle and Wendy had made it to the forest east of Magnolia. Confirming he hasn't gone to the exceed village, they had followed a few leads of civilians saying they saw the blue exceed last here.

"Yeah we saw him. He got bagged though." A man said. "Now leave me alone. I'm not saying anything. Do you know who controls these woods?"

"Wait! What do you mean he got bagged..." Wendy said.

"You should worry about yourself Little lady. Kids are going missing in these parts..." he glared then walked off.

"Happy..." Charle said tears in her eyes.

"Come on Charle, we need to notify the guild." Wendy said.

"I'll stay and look for Happy some more..." she said her voice trembling... "I should have taken the fish..."

"What?" Wendy asked.

"Happy... 2 days ago offered me his fish and I said no like normal but it was different this time... he dropped it and just left the guild. He's never dropped the fish... he's missing because of me..." she said more tears flowing. "I don't hate the fish... or Happy!"

"Charle we know, but from the sounds of this we will need help... let's find the others." At the guild.

"Happy!" A voice yelled.

"Hold on! I almost got it!" Happy said. "Shhhh be quiet before he sees"

Various children coughing, cold, and injured were quietly waiting as Happy unlocked their cages. Each night it looked as if he was flying them out one by one and returning.

"He's coming!" a female voice said.

"Aye! Ori! Hide-"

"It's you... so you can talk you little blue shit. Let's see how you like this then..." the man yelled.

"No! The female voice said, "take me!!"

"Ohhh Orelith... you care for this other exceed." The man sneered as he squeezed Happy's throat tighter and tighter. " fine you both can come... you've cost me a weeks worth of money...you'll serve in their place."

"No! No! Happy!" Charle cried.

"Charle what happened?" Wendy said picking her up.

"Wendy... we need to hurry! Happy's life is in danger! Akane is closer than the guild... we need Natsu... we need Erza and Gray... We need all of them..." Charle cried tears pouring down her face.

"Did you see anything that could help us find them Charle?" Wendy asked.

"Ughh" Charle thought hard, then a flash happens and she saw a small bond with a cave. "A small pond with a cave there is a large Willow to left of the cave."

"Okay, Charle fly to Akane you will be faster without me. I will go find the cave" Wendy said.

"It's not safe Wendy..." Charlie argued.

"I'll be okay. I won't engage." Wendy said.

"I'll be back!" Charle said taking off Max speed to the resort.

"ARGHHHH" Happy yelled.

"AHHHHHHH" Ori cried.

"That's enough for today.." Ramsay's said. Looking at the glowing Lacrima.

"What are you..." Happy sighed.

"Oh these? Lacrima bombs. Since you'll die doing this repeatedly. I'll tell you. I've been siphoning the magic from these little fuckers and creating these bombs. Groups all around have been purchasing them left and right. You cost me freeing those kids... so now I'll Siphon from you two. Orelith remembers who well it went last time... don't you."

"Go to hell..." Ori said. "I'll kill you you've done... for what you do to Iggy."

"Who is Iggy?" Ramsey said. "Oh that little purple haired boy. Yeah he had loads of magic. What was he... dragon slayer right? Water or something?"

"You're a chosen exceed..." Happy said. "One of the ones like me sent for a dragon slayer.."

"Iggy... YOU KILLED HIM!" She yelled.

"He wasn't a real dragon slayer. His embedded lacrima killed him. I only made it go boom..." Ramsey smiled. "Read up kitties we start again in an hour."

"Ori..." Happy said panting.

"Iggy..." she cried. "Happy what do you mean one do the chosen..."

Happy went on to tell her about the exceeds and Elodas but passed out from exhaustion before he got to the part where all exceeds were now in Earthland. Orelith finally passed out shortly after. Both exceeds handing in their chains.

We are entering the next story arch ;) I look forward to this one. New characters, fights, love and of course NALU. I will be returning to Akane Resort before this has occurred. How will Happy escape?
