Inside The arena, the cheers and shouts of the crowd were turning into hushed murmurs and whispers as baki entered the ring his age aside what really baffled the crowd was his looks sickly pale skin with sunken cheeks, his body looked like it was all skin on bones have almost no fat at all what little muscles he did have clearly visible down to the fibres.

Despite that the announcer did his job of hyping up the crowd back up again "From Japan with only 17 years age Baki Hanma the number one Japanese champion now wants to conquer the 100 years raitai!!".

The doubt of the crowd evaporates as if his words light a fire under them turning their hushed whispers into roaring screams against Baki in favour of his opponent as the announcer continued.

"Also trying his fortune in the Raitai is our hero, an invincible warrior and the undisputed medical master Lee kaiou".

The cheers grew louder as a man of Asian descent walked into the ring wearing a clean white outfit with his hair combed back and strong jaw, the only indicator of his real age being the small amount of hair turning white tucked behind his ears if you paid attention you would see that both of his hands swollen and discoloured similar to the one that Yanagi had.

With the cheers calming down the referee hit the gong signalling the start of the match as Baki's foot connected with the hastily put-up guard of Lee not a second later knocking him on his ass…

Jack, Kozue and Retsu were standing in the corner entrance watching the match, their bodies tensed when they saw how Baki's leg was swollen, well.. more like Retsu and Kozue as Jack was still as nonchalant as ever while watching following his gaze it would appear that he was focusing more on Baki's body than on the match itself

As Baki started sucking out the poison from his foot before spitting it out.

Putting his foot down and straightening up again Baki smiled at Lee while letting out a breath "hey that's nice of you thanks for waiting" beads of sweat were falling down his face even as he spoke meanwhile Lee stood on the opposite end with a relaxed stance analysing Baki before he extended his hand as if asking for a handshake.

"Handshake?" Baki looked confused for a second

"Oh hot hands alright I will play with you," he said, placing his hand so that it touches the back of Lee's hand both taking a stance.

[A/N: alright a quick explanation here just in case hot hands is a game where you try to hit the other person's hands while he places them on your palm before he pulls away, obviously not how they are doing it but you get the gist of it, it also has a version of it called tsui-shu in Chinese].

Murmurs could be heard from the crowd at Baki's actions as Retsu explained to Kozue, Lee suddenly grabbed Baki's wrist before trying to deliver a low kick that baki dodged before he use Aikido to flip him in place and delivered a straight punch to his face pushing him away.

(Jack's pov)

I half broke away from my focus on Baki as I felt Yujiro coming closer turning my head to see him pulling up from behind Lee's brother or as I like to call him Katsumi's doppelganger the guy looks like an exact copy of Katsumi in the manga I overlooked it as the artist just being to lazy to draw a new character but seeing him in live action is like seeing an actor play to different roles in the same movie.

'I also remember Katsumi saying that he had a relative in the Middle East when he was helping Doyle get away, damn one of his grandfathers must have been a pimp to spread his gene pool around this much'

"Jack.." Turning to look at Kozue only to see her looking at the arena as Lee started unloading on Baki, his hand moving fast enough that they left vapour behind when they hit.

Looking at Baki I "saw" through his body to see that the poison from Lee's hands has finally reached a tipping point where it started neutralising the poison that was already in his body unlike what was shown in the manga I don't actually see his internal organs it's more like a feeling a sixth sense to visualise what is happening in his body as it started to redirect the energy it was spending to hold the poison back and started explaining using all its energy momentarily making Baki lose consciousness as his body gave out mid charge.

(3rd pov)

Baki fell and rolled past Lee as he vomited out what looked like a litter of blood landing right in front of his corner. His blood began falling back down like rain covering his body while Kozue fell on her knees above him and started talking to him as His brain started releasing endorphins.

All the while Jack was watching before he smirked, put his hand on Kozue's shoulder, and pulled her slightly out of the way so he could bend down and be face-to-face with Baki as his eyes started regaining focus again.

All the while Kozue's face was covered in tears and Retsu was shocked as he realising what was happening to Baki's body Jack's words made them both stop whatever they were thinking "Hey dumb ass get up you have a match to finish".

Baki was surprised to wake to Jack's face let alone hear what was just said as both Retsu and Kozue stood there dumbfounded trying to process what Jack just said as Baki dodged a kick that was aimed at his face.

Retsu.exe seems to finally turn back on line as he had a look of Joy on his face "He is cured the poison had no effect anymore.." Turning he grabbed Kozue by the shoulder "miss Kozue you're amazing..".

"*scoff* no need to over-inflate her ego Retsu she doesn't have phenix tears to cure him..".

The two of them turned to Jack as he continued "the poison from Mr snake hands over there just neutralised the poison that Yanagi used on baki the two of them actually come from China believe it or not they both come in a set of 12 scrolls that got separated with 7 of them ending up in Japan".

"Wait.. is that why you said he was gone be fine".

"*shrug* well it would have been depending on who he fights first I went out of my way to check and see if he was Fighting him before the match started".

Kozue kicked Jack in the leg as she started fuming "you asshole, what would have happened if he didn't fight him first huh".

"*smirk* well I could always just brow a helping hand".

The words seem to get stuck in both Retsu's and Kozue's throats as Baki walked towards them with a smile under the Cheers of the crowd.

"Hey what's up with the long faces"

"Oh don't mind them they are just tired anyway welcome back bro"

"I'm glad to be back *fist pump*"
