Regardless if it's been a while or recently, and as a welcome to anyone whose new to my stories, let me say hello to you all! I apologize that this isn't a new chapter, but this is important and I hope you take the time to read this update notice.

Also, to remove any worries to those familiar with the few I've made when my writing slump began? Know this update ONLY has good news this time.

Notice: This update will be deleted on 10/10 - READING IS ADVISED

To start things off, the primary part of this announcement is, as not everyone may have seen it on my profile... that I am officially out of my writing slump! Thanks to everyone whose been so supportive and understanding these last two years. However, while I am getting back to regularly updating, there are a few things that have changed since then that will affect my update rate.

First off, and this is only temporary, but my family and I will be making up for lost time with our extended family. The pandemic caused a lot of our family events (both annual and non-annual) to be canned. However, now that vaccines are able to cover nearly all ages, we're making up for it since we have our yearly Halloween Party on the way, alongside Thanksgiving and Christmas, which we all had to spend on our own since 2020 due to new family members.

I'll still try updating for the rest of 2022, but it might not be that much.

Second, which some may have noticed via the potential stories listed on my profile, I've become quite the fan of Genshin Impact and now play it regularly. On one hand this has cut into some of my writing time, but on the other, it's also helped give me new ideas because of the gorgeous landscapes and some lore I've found. The same is true with other Hoyoverse games that I don't play since their stories are all so interesting, and has helped my spark recover.

My only regret is that too much of Genshin Impact's story has yet to be released, making it too risky for me to start my fanfic idea for it because I want to avoid retconning anything if contradicted by the still unreleased content. That being said... if anyone can show me the Mondstat region story is too early in for too many retcons, then I might at least consider releasing that part.

Lastly, but most importantly, I've started restructuring how I organize my stories a little. This one's a little more complex, so I have story specific details I'll be sharing below to explain it. Though if it goes well? You can expect my updates rates to increase while also getting more to my stories than you did prior!

With all of that said, here's the story specific details:

Specific Details for Legend of the Heavenly Dragons

Because this is the original version of the story, details will be found in the new version, so this one is mainly to make sure no one misses it. There is some news related to it though, so I recommend reading for just a little longer.

Said news is that I've officially made my choice on what will happen to this version after revisions get to a certain point. Said choice is once all three of the current chapters get revised? The story will stay for a while after that, till I update the new version enough that it's truly exceeded this one and it no longer needs to stick around.

Thank you all for taking time to read this. Now, since the new version has a preview scene, I'll be showing a deleted scene here. One that can't be used in the new version anymore.

Everyone felt the structure begin to rumble, with Issei catching Vali as she fell from the vibrations.

"Why's everything shaking!?" Vali asked.

"It must have been from the fight! Issei's attacks must have disrupted the stability of the entire structure!" Kiba theorized, noticing the damage in the current room alone.

A red glow filled the entire place as everyone felt themselves getting weaker.

"Aw shit, is this some kind of Anti-Magic Field to trap us?" Kuroka questioned.

The room's floor immediately split apart, cracking in two as Issei and Vali got thrown to one side, making Gasper scream as he noticed this.

"Issei! Vali!" Rias shouted.

She threw out a hand to try and catch them, only to slide back as the shattering room separated them further.

"Rias, get your friends out of here before it's too late! I'll get Vali out of here!" Issei shouted as he held Vali.

"What!?" Rias shouted.

Issei gave her a confident look, nodding her head as she saw his smile, and tightened her fist.

"Promise me... no, promise all of us this! That you'll come back, both of you!" Rias ordered.

"We will!" He replied.

He threw Vali onto his back, jumping off the area he was before it collapsed into the void, leaving Rias and the others to watch before they finally ran off to get out of the structure themselves.

As Issei ran, he struggled to dodge all the falling debris, feeling one slab cut across his arm.

"You've already lost this fight, for your death is fast approaching." A voice echoed maliciously.

He grit his teeth, and kicked off the ground.

"Wrong! We're not dying today!" He shouted.

Screaming as he landed and continued running, feeling Vali hug her tighter as the falling debris got worse, Issei sped through everything until a red glow formed around his body. Shortly after, a white glow started to form around Vali's body, right as a loud roar went off, with Issei jumping once more as a huge blaze incinerated the nearby debris.

"GO!" Issei screamed.

In seconds, his and Vali's glows exploded into the form of gigantic Dragons, which quickly flew towards Rias and the others, catching them on their backs. The two Dragons flew towards the ground with everyone in tow before vanishing via a mighty roar.

After everyone took a moment to realize what happened, Vali let out tears of joy.

"We made it..." She quietly said.

Then the tears started to flow out.

"Issei, we really, really made it out alive!" Vali cried, hugging him tightly in response.

"E-Easy there!" He replied, his face going red as her huge chest pressed against him.

Kuroka giggled at that.

"You always have to be the hero and rescue us in the end, don't you?" She teased.

Issei scratched his cheek, trying to distract himself from thinking about Vali's... assets.

"Is it even me if I don't know how I did it?" He asked.

"Don't sweat the small stuff, especially after you kicked ass." Shirone stated.

"That wasn't a yes." Issei replied.

A small bird flapped into the area, getting their attention as it landed before the group, with a magic circle appearing on its chest.

"I had my Shikigami watching you from afar, congratulations on rescuing Vali." Akeno's voice spoke through the bird, smiling in relief.

"We did it... we really did it!" Gasper sniffled.

"And all of us are going home, safe and sound. You all did a great job." Rias added.

Gasper gave her a hug.

"I honestly thought the worse was gonna happen, thank goodness it didn't!" Gasper sniffled, feeling his suppressed worries bubble up.

Rias rubbed his head, and Kiba walked up to her.

"Now that this is over... what's next?" He asked.

"Hard to say, but I have a good feeling that whatever tomorrow brings? It'll be a brighter day." She admitted.

From a distance, a familiar face glared before they turned around and walked away, sneering as in response.

"Laugh while you can. The prophecy will happen." They said.

They vanished through a magic circle, with no one the wiser.

As if reacting to her words, the scene shifted to the sky for a brief moment, before the sight of the sun came into view. At first there was nothing, until finally... the sun briefly glitched out.

Said glitch caused the moon to come into view every few seconds, but at one point there was blackness and glow that was an eerie blood red color.

"The end... will soon begin."
