That evening, everyone was back in Wonderwood Village where Raven and the others were getting used to their new companions.
"Come down here, Haze," said Raven while standing at the base of a tree where a small Chinese Dragon laid on a branch. This dragon was about two feet long with black and purple scales that made up a flame pattern on its body, whiskers came from the sides of its snout, and even had tail feathers that fanned out to resemble a small peacock tail.
"You sure love sitting in trees," she said as the dragon came down to her after letting out a small huff. Once he reached her, Haze wrapped around Raven's left arm so that his head rested on her shoulder.
"Haze giving you some trouble?" asked Patter while walking up to the young witch.
"Not really, I think he's just trying to get used to me," said Raven as he scratched the area between the little dragon's eyes which he seemed to like.
"Well Race sure is giving me trouble," said Cerise as she ran after a small red and black wolf cub that had a white stripe of fur that ran from its nose up into a fluff on its forehead.
"I still can't believe that we actually got our own companions," said Apple while looking over at Rosabella, Hopper, and Dexter who each had a large caterpillar, frog, and owl respectively.
"Hey, where's Flash at, Apple?" asked Raven.
"He wanted to go fly around for a little bit in order to stretch his wings," said Apple before releasing a loud whistle that carried through the forest. A sharp bird call then rang out from the forest before a large bird flew to Apple, landing on her right arm which she had held out for it.
"Still can't believe you two managed to get such rare companions, I mean I've only heard of a few times where companions were dragons or phoenixes," said Danessa while looking at the bird's flaming red and gold feathers.
"Neither can we, and I already have a dragon back home," said Raven.
"At least we still have a couple of days to bond with them before we head back, otherwise I don't know what we would do once back at Ever After High," said Apple.
"I can only imagine what Headmaster Grimm will say about this," said Raven with a slight chuckle while rolling her eyes at the thought.
