Hey guys. Sorry it's been almost a month since my first chapter. I was busy with other stories and college, but I have time to make this chapter.
So, this chapter contained the story of Atalanta and her family. Here, this chapter took place after the events of the episode "We Got Hacked", 6 episodes later since the debut chapter of Atalanta.
In the bodega, KO happily scrubbed the floor with mop slippers as he was "ice skating" all over the floors, "Another day in the bodega cleaning the floors. Isn't this exciting, guys?"
But Rad and Enid weren't that much happy with their work as they were too busy being excited about working.
"Sure do, little buddy!" Rad answered while stocking supplies onto the shelf with telekinesis.
"Eh whatever," Enid replied in deadpanned as she read a magazine over the counter.
It was almost closing time, so the bodegamen had to make the most of their time during their working hours.
"I wonder what else is good today?" KO wondered, hoping there would be something new today before the day ends.
Just then, the doors opened, and revealed to be Atalanta, who had been gone for six episodes. A crowd of cheers and applauses was heard in the background.
"Hey. guys…" Atalanta greeted before letting the cheers finish. Once the air was silent, Atalanta continued her greetings, "Hey, guys! I'm back!"
OK K.O.!: The Superius Family
"Atalanta!" KO, Rad, and Enid were surprised by their new friend's return, and their day got lightened up.
KO then rushed to Atalanta, removing his mop slippering from his feet, and jumped to her for a hug.
"Oh, KO. Did you miss me?" She cooed.
KO nodded happily, "Sure do! Do you still have many powers?"
"I sure do," Atalanta summoned a scoop of green mint ice cream above her hand and hovered it towards KO.
"Ice cream! Yeah!" KO grabbed the ice cream with his bare hands and ate it.
"So. Atalanta, have you found a job?" Rad asked as he finished stocking.
"It's been a while since your last visit," Enid added while flipping out of the counter.
"Eh, it took a couple of days, and I finally got a job!" Atalanta declared, "I'm a cleaning lady of my boss' house."
KO jumped off of Atalanta's arms, and landed on the floor with ice cream in his mouth, "Cleaning lady? Just like me, except I'm not a lady, so we both have cleaning jobs."
"You got that right!" Atalanta winked as she and KO laughed, coincidentally having similar jobs.
"So, what are you doing here?" the ninja girl questioned.
"My boss gave me a day off, so I have time to come here," Atalanta replied.
"Awesome!" KO and Rad exclaimed.
Just then, Carol entered the store when the doors automatically opened for her, "Hey KO, I came by early to fetch you up."
"Thanks, mommy!" KO rushed to hug his mother's legs, "Oh, Mom, there is someone I want you to meet," he held his mother's hand, and dragged her in front of his new friend, "Mom, this is Atalanta."
"Oh, you must be Atalanta Superius my son KO was talking about," Carol smiled as she held his hand to her.
"Oh, he did talk to you about me," Atalanta chuckled as she took Carol's hand for a handshake, "Well, it's nice to meet you, KO's mom."
Carol chuckled, "Please, call me Aunt Carol."
Just then, Mr. Gar came out of his office and locked the door before turning around to call his employees, "Bodegamen, I just want to make sure how you work around here," But then, he spotted Carol along with his employees, and Atalanta. Mr. Gar started to stammer and blush, Oh, eh, Carol… I-uh-I'm, uh, I…"
Carol smiled and her pupils sparkled a little when she noticed Mr. Gar, and greeted him, "Hi, Gene."
Mr. Gar just stood there frozen as he couldn't find any more words.
"Hey, Atalanta, this is my boss, Mr. Gar," KO introduced his boss to her before running ot him, and dragging him to his new friend, "Mr. Gar, this is Atalanta."
Mr. Gar regained his confidence as he offered a hand to Atalanta, "Well, it's nice to meet you, little lady."
"It's nice to meet you too, Mr. Gar," Atalanta said as he took the handshake before noticing something familiar at the store owner, "Say, you look kinda familiar… any chance that you're some kind of superhero?"
"I-uh…," This made Mr. Gar stammer in panic as he didn't want to recall his past life behind.
"Atalanta, he is a hero," Enid said in monotone.
"Yeah, yeah, I know, but he looks like that hero that used to be a member of that superhero team, P.O.I.N.T.," Atalanta said.
Mr. Gar was still stammering while sweating and fiddling with his fingers. Before he could answer, the alarm buzzed in the bodega. A purple portal opens in the sky as a metal box fell. down the pavement.
KO, Rad, Enid, Carol, Mr. Gar, and Atalanta came out of the bodega to see what villain they have today.
The box opened and revealed four Boxmore robots, Darrell, Shannon, Raymond, and Ernesto.
"Greetings, Plaza losers!" Ernesto declared.
"We're gonna wreck this place into bits!" Darrell chuckled.
But the moment was interrupted when Darrell, Shannon, and Raymond noticed their new friend, and waved happily at her, "Hi, Atalanta!"
"Hey, guys!" Atalanta waved at them back.
"You know them?" Mr. Gar asked.
"Um… yeah," Atalanta didn't want to lie to betray her new villain friends, so she told the truth.
"Anyway, we came to destroy the plaza for our father!" Raymond announced, changing back to the original topic.
"So, step aside, Atalanta, 'cause we're gonna take these hero losers down!" Shannon growled, showing her sharp teeth.
Atalanta grinned at the heroes, and said, "I'll step aside for a moment, and let you fight. I tried talking before, so… I won't try the second time," Atalanta summoned a floating chair and a bag of popcorn before sitting down to watch.
Mr. Gar and Carol glanced at KO, Rad, and Enid as they shrugged, admitting they didn't know why Atalanta was acting like that instead of fighting the evil robots with them. When the 5 positioned themselves to fight. The robots charged at them, until a cold breeze showered above them, and felt their feet couldn't move.
"Wait, what?" The 4 robots gasped when they looked down, and noticed their feet were frozen in eyes.
The heroes were surprised as well.
All of a sudden, while the robots tried to break free, a wave of water came out of nowhere, washed the robots off their frozen feet, and flung them up in the air.
A giant turquoise energy-projected fist appeared above the robots and punched them down back into the ground.
Just then, someone poked their finger behind Shannon and Raymond as they turned around to see who was it, "Huh?"
Only they found was a small baseball bat, but it slammed itself down at them.
Suddenly, a voice echoed out of nowhere, "Strawberry shake wave!" and a wave of strawberry shake with strawberry slices was blasted down at Darrel and Ernesto.
When four robots were exhausted after being beaten up, they were surprised when a lightning bolt fell towards them.
"Uh-oh, the four Boxmore robots whimpered as lighting destroyed them to pieces.
A force of wind blew at Mr. Gar, Carol, the bodegamen, and Atalanta as the Boxmore robot copies were destroyed into pieces. When a dust cloud faded away, a group of heroes in white appeared standing behind the dust clouds: the adult one with bird-like wings, presumably the leader, held a lightning bolt; a young girl with the same bird-like wings surfed on her own water wave, and jumped on the ground; a young teenage boy descended from the air, surrounded by a giant projection fist, and made it disappear; a baseball bat transformed back into a 1-year-old boy; a teenage girl slowly descended herself from the air with pink sparkles behind her; And a young boy landed down to the ground while blasting his snow breeze down with his hands to slow down his fall until his feet touched the ground.
"Good job, kids!" The man congratulated his young companions.
"We did it!" The teenage girl exclaimed as she high-fived the other cheering kids.
"All right!" The young girl chuckled.
While the 5 members in white clothes high-fived each other, KO, Rad, and Enid stared in awe at them after witnessing their heroic skills of defeating the Boxmore Robots.
"Whoa, who are they?" Rad asked curiously.
Enid shrugged and murmured which meant, "I don't know"
"Hey, Dad!" Atalanta jumped from her projection chair and rushed to the group of 5.
"What?!" The bodegamen exclaimed in shock.
"There's my oldest girl!" The man held out his arms, and Atalanta hugged him tightly.
"Hey, sis!" The teenage girl greeted her big sister.
Atalanta let go of her father, high-fived her four siblings, and lowered down to grab her little cousin, "Hey there, little cuz!" she then told everyone, Aww, you all did great."
"Just in time to defeat those evil robots," The young teenage boy said as the whole group and Atalanta laughed.
KO, Rad, and Enid walked closer to them with confused looks.
"Atalanta, who are these guys?" KO asked.
"This is my family," Atalanta answered while putting a hand on her father's shoulder, "That's my dad, Tony Superius. My siblings are Christina, Enzo, Gabriella, and Ivory. And this is my little cousin, Blue," she introduced her siblings oldest to youngest where Christina was the teenage girl, Enzo was a younger teenage boy, Gabriella was the young girl, and Ivory was the baby. And the remaining one, who was older than Ivory, was Blue, the cousin of the family of heroes.
Tony knelt down to KO's level, and asked, "So you must be KO, right?"
KO gasped and asked with sparkles all over his eyes, "How did you know my name?"
"Tony," Carol called out from behind the bodegamen as she walked towards Tony with her arms spreading, "It's so good to see you again."
"Carol!" Tony accepted the hug as he embraced Carol a little tighter before releasing to see her face, "Sorry I didn't come by to visit again. Been busy with hero business."
"I get it. I understand," Carol smiled.
"Mommy," KO called his mother from below, "You know Atalanta's dad?"
"Yeah. Tony and I were friends," Carol answered while wrapping an arm around his shoulder.
"And still are. We went waaaay back! I mean, back when we used to fight together," Tony smirked before eyeing Mr. Gar, and approaching him with his arms extended to him, "And there's another hero I like to see! Eugene! It's really great to see you."
"It's good to see you too, Tony," Mr. Gar returned the hug, but a calm and gentle one.
"You know Mr. Gar too?!" Rad and Enid asked Tony surprisingly in unison.
"Yeah, we were friends too, and also fought together," Tony replied.
"Tony here is one of the best heroes I know in our times." Carol patted the young winged-man's back playfully, "The hero with multiple powers called Multi."
KO gasped as he took out his binder with POW Cards, and pulled out one with the name "MULTI" and his power lever "19", "YOU'RE MULTI?! AS IN LEVEL 19 MULTI?!"
Tony chuckled admittingly, "Yeah, but I never use that name anymore."
"Why? How come?" KO asked curiously
Tony then stared blankly as he recalled a flashback that he tried to forget.
Noir jazz music plays in the background. On a rainy day with thunder crashing, a donut shop was blasted, setting off an alarm. Two pairs of legs and one pair of floating legs rushed in the scene, then, a sandwich was dropped to the floor.
The flashback ended as Tony answered, "It's grown-up stuff. You won't understand."
"Wow, Mr. Tony has the same answer and exact same confusing vague flashback my mom had," KO said in his mind, "Why do they have the same answer whenever I asked something?"
"So, you guys have multiple powers too, like your dad and Atalanta?" Enid asked the other hero kids.
"Pretty much, but we have our own main powers," Gabriella answered.
Though KO, Rad, and Enid looked confused when they heard the term "main power"
Christina rolled her eyes, and explained, "Main powers mean the powers we used plenty of times in any situation, but we used the rest for emergencies or good use."
"So, what's your main power?" Rad asked.
"Mine? Magic!" With a wave of her hand, Christina turned a nearby streetlight into a candy cane.
"Awesome!" the alien excitingly ran to the candy cane, and licked it. But when Christina snapped her finger, the candy cane turned back into a street light, which the alien was still licking until he realized the candy cane doesn't taste like candy cane anymore, but a flavorless metallic street light, "Hey!"
Enid burst into laughter until she stopped and wiped a tear before noticing Enzo, "What about you?"
"Energy projection," Enzo explained as he summoned a giant turquoise shield in front of him, "Look, I made my own shield!"
"Good work, son. You're improving!" Tony commented.
Enzo blushed as he shrunk his shield until it was gone, "Thanks, Dad."
The ninja then eyed Gabriella behind Enzo, "And you?"
"I'm more in controlling good weather, but mostly rain," Gabriella summoned a rain cloud above her with a snap of a finger, soaking herself wet, "A gentle low rain. And when there's rain, there's water!" She then manipulated the water from the rain, and splashed it all over Enid, who was also soaking wet, and spitting water from her mouth, "I can control water," Gabriella smirked.
"That is so fun!" Rad commented while laughing at Enid.
Mr. Gar then noticed the baby tugging his pants. Mr. Gar lowered himself to Ivory's level, and ruffled his hair, "And what about you little fella?"
Tony intervened, and replied, "Ivory can't talk yet, but his main power is shape-shifting."
Ivory then shape-shifted into a bunny.
"Aaaaawwwww!" KO, Rad, Enid, Carol, Mr. Gar, Atalanta, Tony, Christina, Enzo, Gabriella, and Blue cooed at the cuteness of Ivory's bunny transformation.
When Ivory transformed back into his normal shape, Carol then picked up Blue, and asked, "What about you, Blue? What's your power?"
"It's a little embarrassing, but it's…" Blue blushed nervously as he unleashed a breeze of ice and snow from his hand on the ground
"Oooh, snow and ice! It's really chillin' out here," Carol punned as she and Blue chuckled.
KO looked up at Tony, and asked, "What's your main power, Mr. Tony?"
"Please, KO, Mr. Tony is so formal. Just call me Uncle Tony," Tony smiled, "And my main power is this lightning bolt," he held out his lightning bolt to show it to the kid, "It's my family heirloom, and I used it very often."
"Is it safe?" KO poked the lightning bolt with his finger, and slightly electrified him.
"Define 'safe'," Tony smirked sheepishly.
But KO sucked his finger to make it feel better.
"How about you, Atalanta? What's your main power?" Enid asked.
Atalanta chuckled nervously while scratching the back of her neck, and admitted, "I… don't have one yet. I haven't chosen my main power because all of my powers were cool. How can I even choose?"
"She's got a point," Christina said, "We may have picked our own main powers, but all of our powers are important, so, for her, she couldn't choose."
"Aww, that's okay. You'll pick one, someday," KO cooed while patting Atalanta's side, "Wait, if you have a dad, where's your mom?"
"Oh, she's also busy with my other siblings and cousins," Atalanta said.
KO gasped in surprise, "You have more brothers, sisters, and cousins? Wow, how many are you guys?"
But Carol interrupted while clicking her tongue, and holding out a finger, "KO, it's a little rude to ask someone how many they are in their family."
"Oops, sorry, Mommy," KO covered his mouth embarrassingly, feeling ashamed of making a mistake that his mother described.
"No, it's okay, Carol. Boy's got curious," Tony said calmly before tuning to KO, "You might say there are plenty of us."
"Wow, I wish I have a very big family like you," KO said dreamingly.
But Atalanta chuckled, and ruffled KO's hair, "Be careful what you wish for. You can't handle living in a big family like mine."
Meanwhile, when Cool Sun was about to descend, Dendy walked alone from school to get to her home. While she was walking, she was typing on her holographic computer to update KO's data.
"Hmm, I wonder if I could add this information to KO's data," Dendy said to herself… until, the electrical wires down the street were showing some power surge with zapping sounds, and the electricity all over the area flickered on and off rapidly.
Dendy observed the electricity in houses and buildings as they seemed so unusual to her, "Hmm, that's uncanny."
Just then, she saw and heard a very strong electric bolt that transmitted through powerlines. Feeling afraid, her holographic keyboard disappeared, and Dendy moved backward. But behind her were growing vines. Avoiding them Deny ran as fast as she could, but the ground shook as cracks formed beneath her, and an earth structure popped out from where she was standing. Dendy tumbled down, and hid behind a trash can that was bigger than her. It's a safe place to hide for now.
When she took a peek to see what was happening, Dendy gasped in horror to see familiar beings while guessing their names, starting with a woman descending from the sky with flames all over her, until they disappeared when she touched the grounds, "Oh no. Ruby, "Then, a young teenage girl descended down with soundwave slowing down her fall, "Dixie," Then, an electrical bolt transformed into a young girl, "Magenta," Another girl that looked like the previous one appeared without a trace, leaving dark indigo sparkles falling around her, "Green," a young teenage boy stood on a giant vine, and made it place him down with his companions, "Presley," A young boy with black wings, older than the younger girls, flew down with tornadoes under him and a thunderstorm above him, "Falcon," A teenage boy stood on the wave of the earth as he jumped down to join his group, "Bryce," lastly, the youngest girl came out jumping and laughing around, Harley."
Dendy cringed to see this group as she remembered them as villains because of this black clothing, clearly opposite to Atalanta's hero family.
Harley was still jumping and laughing around like a little maniac as her group groaned frustratingly for her laughter, and they couldn't take it anymore, "Ugh!"
But Harley couldn't help it. She laughed because she was so excited for tonight, whole Dendy continued to hide behind the trashcan.
"Can you please stop with that laughing?" Ruby pleaded.
Harley then jumped in front of her, and said, "Come on, Mommy. You know how this works. Winner of the coin toss picks the night's mayhem, and you lost. Guess we have to cause chaos around the plaza tonight!" Harley laughed loudly and maniacally as her laughter echoed in the air.
Dendy, who overheard this, gasped in horror as she whispered, "They're going to destroy the plaza. I have to warn KO," Quickly, she left her hiding spot, and ran as fast as she could to get to the plaza.
Then, the group of villains noticed her running in the direction of the plaza.
"Look at that. We have a spy ahead of us," Presley said.
"Oh, let that kappa go. She's not worth our chaos-making tonight," Ruby rubbed her hands together and grinned evilly.
Back at the plaza, the bodegamen and Mr. Gar just closed up the bodega while Carol, Atalanta, and Superius heroes were waiting as the sun finally set, and the sky got darker.
"So, are your mom and other siblings gonna be here?" Rad asked.
"Well…" Atalanta was about to answer, but she was cut off…
She was cut off by a running kappa heading toward them, "KO! KO!"
"Oh, hey, Dendy," KO greeted her before introducing her to Atalanta and her family, "This is my friend Dendy. Dendy, Atalanta, and her family."
But she had no time to greet them as Dendy grabbed KO's shoulders to make him pay attention to her, "KO, we don't have time left. They're coming!"
"Who's coming?" KO asked.
Just then, a thunderstorm formed in the sky with lightning struck. Our heroes looked up in the sky where the family of villains earlier hovered over the plaza.
"Well, well, well, children, guess the plaza is available for the takeover," Ruby told the children, who smiled evilly and excitedly.
"Look, we have company." Rad pointed his finger at them, though it was already too late for that.
"It's Ruby and the kids! They're not gonna win this time!" Tony declared as the other hero children agreed to that.
"This time?" KO repeated to clarify this, and tugged his mother's pants, "Mommy, I think they are enemies!"
But Carol chuckled sheepishly, "There is something you should know, KO."
"You wanna play, heroes? Let's play!" Magenta squeaked.
The Superius heroes flew up, and charged at the villainous family, and the two groups started fighting.
Mr. Gar and Carol decided to step aside on this one since they couldn't intervene with their old friend and his children's fight. Rad and Enid wanted to aid, but, as they watched, they saw how powerful the villains the Superius heroes were facing… there two groups were matched, and way too powerful than any other hero or villain that ever existed in Lakewood. Even KO thought the same as Rad and Enid thought.
In the fight, Christina blasted a magic energy beam at Bryce and Presley, but Bryce manipulated rocks together while Presley grew vines from the ground, and both made shields with the materials of their powers in front of them, blocking Christina's energy beam.
Dixie shouted really loud, creating a very strong soundwave, which caused Enzo to be forcibly pushed away, but he managed to stand his ground and created a giant speaker projection around him. He even created his own guitar, made by his own power, and strummed it, creating a stronger soundwave of a guitar sound that pushed Dixie down.
Falcon and Gabriella came face-to-face with each other as they avoided each other's combats when they tried to punch one another. Since combat skills won't work, Falcon unleashed a giant tornado, and threw it at Gabriella. Gabriella managed to create a waterspout (tornado made of water), and did the same at Falcon. But both tornadoes collided with each other, and exploded with air and water flying back at their wielders.
Harley fired lasers from her eyes at baby Ivory, but he shapeshifted into a mirror, bouncing the laser back at Harley, zapping her with ashes all over her body.
While watching, KO noticed Atalanta didn't join the fight with her family, "Atalanta, why don't you fight with them?"
"Oh, you didn't know yet," Atalanta rolled her eyes, and smirked while sitting down on her projected chair, and ate more of her popcorn.
Blue had to face two girls as Magenta blasted her electricity at him with Green unleashed eyeballs with bat wings. Blue managed to dodge Magenta's electricity while blasting his cold breeze at the flying eyeballs, freezing them in ice cubes. Then, he blasted a stronger breeze, freezing both Magenta and Green, and they both fell down from mid-air.
Lastly, Tony and Ruby went on face-to-face and Ruby fired fireballs at Tony. Tony rotated his lightning bolt at rapid speed, blocking the fireballs. When fireballs didn't work, Ruby blasted even hotter flames at Tony as he dodged them, and flew behind Ruby before kicking his back. Ruby wasn't quick that time, but she didn't want to lose this fight again. She then summoned a larger blast of fire at Tony, but he stopped the trail of fire in front of him with his own fire power (meaning he could also control someone else's fire other than his own). Ruby tried to push bask her fire at Tony, but the latter kept fighting back until a force of energy from the fire shoved Ruby way down on the ground in the parking lot, right beside Magenta and Green. Seeing this, the other villain kids showed their concern for their defeated members. Now that they were distracted, it was time for the hero kids to attack. Christina summoned a rainbow energy beam, blasting Bryce and Presley down to the ground. Enzo made a jack-in-a-box box through energy projection, and a boxing glove popped right out, punching Dixie down with the rest of her fellow villains. Gabriella summoned a huge wave of water, and splashed at Falcon before he could turn around to see water splashing him down. Ivory turned himself into a fly swatter, and swatted Harley down. All villain members groaned in pain as they felt defeated.
"They're winning, they're winning!" KO cheered with white flags in his hands.
The Superius heroes landed in front of the villains.
"Alright. Stand down from this, villains…" Tony demanded as he raised a fist, and Ruby squeezed her eyes shot, waiting for the real defeat… but instead, a hand was offered to her as Tony said, "Because, really, stop making such chaos."
Ruby chuckled as she took his hand, and said, "You know we love chaos, sweetie."
"Wait…," KO shook his head.
"'Sweetie'?!" he, Rad, Enid, and Dendy exclaimed in shock.
When Tony helped Ruby up, the rest of the villain kids stood up as well with Bryce noted, "Come on, Dad. We're villains. That's what we do,"
"And you heroes stop us. It's part of the business," Falcon added.
"But seriously, after when we stop evil robots? You attacked at the wrong time," Gabriella smirked.
"Uh, what is going on here?" KO asked confusingly.
"Hi, mom!" Atalanta jumped off her seat and ran toward Ruby
"'MOM'?!" KO, Rad, Enid, and Dendy repeated loudly, also shocked.
"Hi, sweetiepie!" Ruby was happy to see her oldest daughter as she gave Atalanta a tight loving hug.
After giving her mother a hug, Atalanta then moved to other villain kids, who were her brothers, sister, and cousins, "Hey guys!"
"Atalanta!" They greeted her with high-fives and huge.
"Bad move of just sitting down and doing nothing," Presley commented.
Atalanta chuckled while ruffling her cousin's hair, "Do I even have a choice? And you guys are amazing out there."
"Hey, what about us?" Blue questioned
"You guys are also amazing… Oh, what the heck? You're all amazing," Atalanta complimented as the whole family laughed, and hugged together.
"Hold up, Atalanta," Enid interrupted the moment as the heroes walked in closer to them.
"Your mother… is a villain?" Dendy guessed.
"And so were your other siblings and cousins?" Red added.
"Um, duh. Why do you think I hugged them all together?" Atalanta snickered as she wrapped an arm around her mother, "Yep, this is my mom, Ruby Superius," and then pointed to the kids, "And my villain brothers and sisters, Bryce, Dixie, Falcon. And my cousins, Presley, Magenta, and Green," She then added the info to her three friends, "Magenta and Green are Blue's sisters. They're triplets."
"Oh, I see the resemblance now," KO observed Magenta, Blue, and Green's appearance, "They are so alike. Wait, if they are siblings, why Blue gets to be a hero because his clothes were white?"
Blue answered sheepishly, "It's a long story. I used to be a villain, but I changed to being a hero for a reason."
"Same thing to me. I used to be a hero, but I changed into a villain for… also a reason," Presley added.
Carol then walked over to Ruby with open arms, "Ruby, it's so good to see you again."
"Hello, Carol," Ruby accepted the hug offer as she and Carol embraced.
"Wow. So you guys are friends too?" KO asked.
"Yeah, but not as long as Tony," Carol winked at Tony as a reminder as he blushed a little.
"Who's this little fella?" Ruby knelt down to reach KO's level.
"That's my son, KO," Carol answered,
"So, he's KO!" Ruby cooed while ruffling his hair, "Aww, you're kinda cute. Your mother and I were friends when she moved here. I know we're supposed to be enemies because she's a hero and I'm a villain but that doesn't mean we can be acquaintances once in a while."
"Yeah, I think I understand that, Ms. Ruby," KO understood that completely,.
"Eh, I'm not an old lady, KO. Call me Aunt Ruby," The villainess winked.
The kid blushed before saying, "Though you look so familiar. Any chance that you might be…" KO took out his binder to find the POW card that has a familiar look of Atalanta's mom.
But Dendy interrupted him, and guessed, "She's Variousa, KO."
"WHAAAAT?!" KO turned more pages, and found a POW card with the name "VARIOUSA", and her power level "-21", "You're Variousa?! One of the most powerful villains has ever known?!"
Ruby blushed as she chuckled nervously, "Yes. I used to be Variousa. I mean, I still am, but I don't use that name anymore."
"Why?" Rad asked.
"Eh, it's a long story that I don't want to go back to it," Ruby explained.
"Huh, it's not the same answer as Carol and Uncle Tony," KO thought.
When Ruby got back up again, Atalanta then introduced her friends to her, "Mom, these are Rad and Enid."
"Oh, so you're the alien and the ninja my daughter was talking about," Ruby said while shaking both of her hands with each of Rad and Enid's hands.
"Oh, so Atalanta was talking about us?" Enid asked nervously as she and Rad never met a villain this nice before.
"Pretty much since the day she met you while looking for a job," Ruby answered with the teenagers chuckling nervously.
When Ruby released their hand, Atalanta pointed down at the young kappa, "And this one is Dendy. We just met."
"Yeah, we saw her earlier," Ruby said.
"I never thought I could meet a villain with such potential, and a family person," Dendy said while typing on her holographic keyboard.
Well, when you're a villain with family, it's really important you love your family more than your status," Ruby proclaimed as she hugged Atalanta with one arm, and hugged Tony with the other.
"So, since you're part of Atalanta's family… does this mean you guys have main powers too?" Rad questioned.
"Yeah. You saw us back there. That's what we always use," Bryce answered as he levitated some rocks.
"Oh, so your main power is… uh…" Enid observed Bryce's power as she tried to guess.
"Earth," Bryce answered for her.
"Earth! Right!" The ninja felt embarrassed for not guessing the simple name of the power.
"What about you?" The alien asked with a frown Dixie, "I saw that you shouted really loud."
"I have a supersonic scream. I also have enhanced hearing at will. I even make sonic soundwaves with my hands too," Dixie demonstrated with a loud clap, and caused a strong force of a soundwave that shove Rad away, making Enid laugh at him.
"Oh that was great," Enid sighed from laughing, until she noticed Falcon and Gabriella together, "so, let me guess? You two are… twins, right?"
"Yep!" Falcon and Gabriella chirped.
"All right, well, what's your main power, er, Falcon?"
"The exact opposite of my sister's. Mine was mostly bad weather, but most of it was thunderstorms and tornadoes. Check it," Falcon snapped a finger, and a thunderstorm cloud was above Enid, zapping lightning on her butt.
"Ow! That stings!" The ninja cried, but more lightning bolts zapped her again. She started to run, but the cloud still followed her and zapped lightning bolts on her butt. The alien couldn't help but laugh at her.
KO then approached Harley, and guessed, "So, yours is… laser?"
"Yep," Harley zapped lesser from her eyes in front of KO, who jumped out of the way.
He then turned to Magenta and Green, "What about you too? Are your snow and ice too?"
"Pssh, no," Magenta scoffed, "Mine is electricity!" she raised both hands, and her electricity spread all over the plaza, turning off all the lights, and causing a blackout. Only things visible were their eyes.
"Magenta, turned the lights on!" Ruby demanded.
"Alright," With another zap of her electricity power, Magenta turned the lights of the plaza on.
"And mine was dark magic, opposite to Christina's 'light' magic," Green summoned three black widow spiders, and crawled away past KO.
Rad then approached Presley, who was watching his family demonstrate their powers, and asked, "What about you? I saw you use vines as a shield earlier… is your power… plants?" he guessed.
"Yeah. Plants are a reminder of my mother… that I never met, and I do love plants," Presley waved a hand and grew a venus flytrap plant.
"Wow," the alien was impressed by that power, and the plant Presley grew, until the Venus Flytrap, until it bit his nose, "Ow!"
"Ha!" Enid laughed hard.
KO then looked up to Atalanta, and asked, "So, if your dad and half of your family are heroes, and your mom and the other half of your family are villains, does this means you're half-hero and half-villain?"
"Me and my siblings are, but they already chose their calling. That's why we have color codes to define our status. White's for heroes, and black's for villains," Atalanta explained while her family let KO see the colors of their clothing.
"What about you? Are you a hero or a villain?"
"I… haven't decided yet. It's hard to choose which side I am, so I'm neither."
"So that explained why you want to step aside and watch instead of joining the fight," Enid said while crossing her hands and smiling.
And your clothes were half-white and half-black," Rad pointed her clothes as Atalanta looked down at them.
"Yep. I don't know which side I'll be on, so I just watch. And these are the colors of the clothes I wear for the time being," she admitted, "But it's okay. I have time to choose anyway."
Mr. Gar then cut in, and asked the Superius villains "So, you guys are here to do your… business… again?"
"Well, that's business, Gene. To maintain our status, they'll do hero work, we do villain work," Ruby answered, "Sorry for causing a mess around here. My daughter won the coin toss, so she gets to decide."
"And it was fun!" Harley laughed while jumping up and down.
"Wow you guys are amazing, but…" KO admired the daily before hanging his head sadly, "I never had your pow cards in my binder. That's why I never heard of you much."
"Oh, you want POW Cards?" Ruby cooed as she reached down into her pockets.
"Here!"To KO's surprise, the Superius Family held out their respective POW Cards in front of him, Tony and Ruby had their own POW cards renewed when they abandoned their hero and villain persona, and they stopped updating. Their POW Cards' name was changed to their real names. Their power level changed as well. Tony's level became 32, and Ruby's level became -37. The children's POW card had their level as Christina was 13, Bryce was -12, Dixie was -10, Enzo has 9, Falcon and Gabriella had the same level of 7 with Falcon was the opposite (-7), Harley was -4, Ivory was 1, Presley was -8, and Magenta, Blue, and Green had level of 5 with Magenta and Green have the opposite (-5).
KO gasped happily, "Wooow! You have your own POW Cards?!"
"Yeah, we collected POW Cards once in a while," Christina answered.
"And most of them were about us," Presley added.
"I can't believe I have more POW Cards in my collection!" KO eagerly took all 14 POW Cards, "Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you!"
Bryce then bent to Dendy's level, and asked, "How about you, little kappa? Want a POW Card?"
"Actually, I already had your POW Cards," Dendy said as she removed her backpack, and opened her POW Card collection, "I have been collecting your POW Cards since each of you existed or was born. But the only POW Card I haven't found yet was Atalanta's."
"Oh, "I still don't have one since I haven't chosen my calling yet," Atlanta confessed.
"Well, it's good to give away our POW Cards once in a while," Magenta said.
"Our POW Cards are rare, so we collected, and sometimes donated them to someone who needed them, just like you," Enzo booped his finger on KO's nose, making him giggle.
Bryce looked down at his wristwatch, and declared, "Well, it's getting late. As scheduled, we'll be going home for dinner."
"Yeah, it's been a tough day," Dixie stretched out her arms.
"Hey, why don't you guys come home for dinner?" Ruby asked Atalanta's friends.
"Aww, thank you, Mrs. Superius, but I have to head home too," Enid said.
"Yeah, me too. It's the end of work, but I'm also heading home. Maybe some other time," Rad added.
"Me three. I started to think my parents would be worried for me that I went home a little late today," Dendy answered.
"Alright, you kids get home soon. We better go," Tony said as he and his family turned around to head in the direction of their home.
Green turned around, and called for her oldest cousin, who didn't follow them, "Come on, Atalanta."
"I'll catch up with you guys," Atalanta said.
Believing she'll follow them later, the whole Superius Family flew away to their home.
Rad then took a few steps forward, and told Atalanta, "Wow, Atalanta, I know you have villain relatives too, but your whole family was so nice!"
"Yeah, they are a very loving family, even to you. Are you sure you're not embarrassed?" Enid questioned smilingly.
"Are you kidding? I live with heroes and villains for a family. I'm cool with it, and I love them too," Atalanta said.
"Aaww," KO cooed before looking up at Carol, "Mom, is it okay if I can visit Atalanta and her family someday? I want to know them a little better. They seemed like a fun family."
"Well…," Carol thought about it before sighing and smiling, "Alright, but I have to call Tony about it."
"Yes!" the young hero jumped into his loving mother's arms.
"Oh yeah, we never asked you, Atalanta, where did you work anyway?" Mr. Gar asked.
"Well…, I can't tell for a while. It's top secret," Atalanta whispered.
"A top secret place of your job? How cool was that?" The alien. complimented.
"I better get going, guys. Don't wanna be late for dinner," Atalanta said before flying up to follow her family.
"We'll see you soon, Atalanta," Carol said while waving her free hand.
"And don't forget to buy when you come for a visit!" Mr. Gar requested.
Atalanta winked with a thumb-up and flew home. Carol carried KO to her car. Mr. Gar closed the bodega before heading to his car. Rad, Enid, and Dendy split up to go back to their respective homes.

So, the confirmed Atalanta has a family of heroes and villains together. Her family fought each other for fun and business. There are some references I used for a few scenes in this chapter.
When KO asked Tony why he never used the name "Multi" anymore, the flashback showed the same flashback Carol and Mr. Gar recalled whenever KO or anyone asked what happened 6-11 years ago. With the flashback shown, it was confirmed that Tony used to be a member of P.O.I.N.T.
Ruby, formerly Variousa, has yet to reveal her dark past of why she abandoned her solo villain life behind, and started a family.
The scene where Dendy encountered the Superius villains was a reference from DC Superhero Girls episode "Beeline"
Atalanta and her siblings were named alphabetically, except for Christina and Bryce as Christina was born first before Bryce. Presley belonged to Tony's side, and Magenta, Blue, and Green belonged to Ruby's side, claiming that the triplets aren't part of the Superius bloodline, but as in-laws.
Atalanta, Christina, Bryce, Dixie, Enzo, Falcon, Gabriella, Harley, and Ivory were all half-heroes/half-villains by blood, but from Christina to Ivory, they already chose who they want to be with Christina, Enzo, Gabriella, and Ivory as heroes, and Bryce, Dixie, Falcon, and Harley as villains. Atalanta still hasn't decided yet, but she was unofficially a half-hero/half-villain.
Since this chapter was after "We Got Hacked", the other episodes between "The Name's Atalanta" and this chapter "The Superius Family" were never rewritten because of the lack of Atalanta's presence in those episodes, and there was nothing to change there.
