The evil queen wasn't here. Only Regina.
"You could have looked.. You could have looked for your Oh so precious child, but instead you got a new one" now Daniela was Fighting off her own tears. She stood up from the couch and took off for the door.
"Daniela. Please, wait!"
"For what?... You to throw me away again? Not a chance" She Left the room and her feet Carried her to the front door where She opened up a Curtain signaling for Emma…
"Shit, Now?" Emma mutters to herself before starting the car.
"Please tell Henry I will see him later" Daniela says to the mayor who had composed herself shortly after the show she gave in her study.
"You're not leaving town again?" Regina asks hopeful.
"Hell no." Daniela scoffs. She's not a little girl anymore, none of this affects her the way it used to.
"No, we're gonna break the curse" The 28 year old brunette tells her birth mother in the most serious tone she could muster up.
"What— You cannot do that" the former queen shakes her head with furrowed brows.
"Why would you do that?" She continues
"I'm your mother Daniela, why would you do that?!" The Older woman almost shouts but refrains from doing so.
"Mother?" Daniela rolls her eyes
"This is so rich"
"You weren't there!" Regina covers her mouth quickly after her words. She can't tell her, she doesn't understand. She'll never understand.
"You had a choice and you made the best decision. Right? That's what you're gonna tell me?" The girl wipes her falling tears.
"Well fuck off. I didn't come here for this shit."
She retorts.
"Henrys still young, he still has a chance" Daniela goes on.
"This" she gestures between her and Regina
"It's dead"
Regina swallows the lump in her throat
"I'm gonna fix this" she says.
"I'm gonna fix this and…I don't know how but I will" she's sure of it and sure of herself.
"Well let me know when you figure it out because I'll be all ears" sarcasm dripped from Daniela's tone.
Regina nods "D-do you have somewhere to stay? You can stay here" The 28 year old laughs
"Yeah, Not gonna happen"
"I'll be Back to take Henry to school in the morning" she Pulls open the front door.
"Oh and Regina?"
The former queen looks up.
Regina is Still in shock that the piece of her she'd been looking for was here, in front of her. It had been years since she'd seen the girl. She was so small then. The only way to fix this would be to turn back time.
Could she do that? Could she reverse the curse? She knew the price for that.
There had to be another way.
But If it was possible to turn back the clock…
"Yes?" She responds after moments of being trapped in her thoughts.
"You are not my mother" The girl slams the door on her way out causing Regina to flinch.
"Henry!" Regina's heels clicked as her feet carried her upstairs where she knocked on her son's door before entering.
The Enchanted Forest 30 years ago…
"Daniel! We're gonna get caught" Regina laughs following her lover, Daniel through the Ranch in the dark under the full moon.
Everything he did for her was romantic.
"You did not" Regina's eyes widened at the sight in front of her. The Candle lit dinner for two under her favorite apple tree in the field warmed her soon to turn cold heart.
"You didn't. Tell me you didn't" She takes in the scene before her in awe.
The brunette then turns around to find the man she loves resting on one knee.
Could this get any better?
"You're such an idiot, get up" the brunette says to her future husband, her mother would never let her marry him but that wasn't up to her, no.
Cora couldn't take Daniel from Regina.
Regardless he doesn't stand up, He opens the box in his hand revealing a Diamond ring he'd saved his whole life for.
"Regina Mills, will you marry me?"
The future queen nods "Yes. Yes of course I'll marry you" Daniel stands up, More than proud of himself and Pulls his queen close by her waist.
"Really?" He feigns shock, not able contain his happiness he kisses her cheeks repeatedly.
"Really" the embrace they shared was nothing less than love. It may have even been true.
Present day
"Sooo Run it back" Emma And Daniela were sitting across from each other at Grannie's bed and breakfast. It had been a long night considering the two couldn't sleep very well.
The two had came down for breakfast first thing in the morning, in time for food before they pick up henry from Regina for school.
Dani continued to eat her French toast listening to Emma and answering any questions she asked.
"You've been here before?" Daniela nods in response.
"But you didn't know anything?" Emma goes on trying to put every piece together.
Regina's daughter nods again allowing Emma to process while the blonde eats her bear claw.
"Shit" she huffs thinking out loud
"And your friend…Taylor? She's saw the vault too?"
"Yup. Taylor and Ruby used to be a thing" Daniela confirms
"Really? Red?" Emma laughs
"She's like My moms…" The blonde suddenly stops laughing. She was going to say best friend
"Have you seen my parents?" Daniela's been waiting for that question.
"Yea…I know where they are" the 28 year old says hesitantly
"Take me to them"
