"And your friend…Taylor? She's on her way?"
"Taylor and Ruby used to be a thing" Daniela confirms
"Really? Red?" Emma laughs
"She's like My moms…" The blonde suddenly stops laughing. She was going to say best friend
"Have you seen my parents?" Daniela's been waiting for that question.
"Yea…I know where they are" the 28 year old nods
"Take me to them"
"Okay but I'm driving" Daniela puts her fork down and stands up after wiping her mouth clean.
"I'm gonna wash my hands first" the 28 year old takes off for the bathroom where she washes her hands thoroughly.
Emma wipes her mouth and pays the bill while the younger girl uses the restroom.
When The former queen's daughter is finished she walks out of the restroom.
Daniela drops a $20 tip on the table for ruby before snagging her purse on their way out.
The girl wore Black Skinny jeans and an olive green flowy blouse that showed off her cleavage.
Emma stood in her red leather jacket and followed shortly after.
The blonde's boots clicked against Granny's tiles.
The pair get in the yellow buggy and begin their journey to finding Emma's parents.
Emma knew they wouldn't Remember or recognize her but she didn't care about that. She missed her family more than anything.
When Daniela pulls up in front of Regina's mansion she puts the car in park and says
"I'll be right back" Before getting out of the car.
Daniela jogs up the porch and rings the bell.
The door is shortly swung open by a smiling brunette.
"Good morning, sweetheart" Regina says to the girl in front of her
"Henry's just gathering his things. How about you come in? I made an apple pie"
Daniela's eyes widen and she swallows the hard lump in her throat.
"No thanks" she says quickly before peeking her head into the home.
"Henry!" she yells.
Would her mother try to kill her? No.
But Regina's not her mother.
"Coming!" Henry shouted from his room
Regina can't help but ask due to her own love of apples, why would her own blood dislike them?
"Do you not like apples?" The mayors furrowed brows deepen
"Huh? What? No, I love apples. Especially when they're not poisoned" nice try
Henry approaches the pair slowly while watching the exchange between both women.
"Let's go, Daniela" he grabs his new found sister's hand and walks out of the door towards the car before Regina could respond to her.
"Bye mom!" He yells to Regina
"I'll be picking you up!" She says loud and clear watching the two get into the yellow Death trap.
"What an ugly car" the former queen mutters before going back inside of her home and slamming the door shut behind her.
Regina Grabs the landline off the hook in her kitchen and dials quickly and efficiently
The phone rings twice before the voice on the other end answers.
"Good Morning. isn't it? Madam Mayor"
"Good morning Mr. Gold"
"Henry, Put your seatbelt on" Emma says from her seat in the front.
She still hadn't spoken to Regina or even seen her for that matter.
Regina would probably kill her at first glance so it was better this way for now, At least until they come up with a plan to wake everyone up.
"How's Emma supposed to break the curse anyway?" Daniela asked during their drive to Storybrooke Elementary.
Henry shrugs
"True love can break any curse…maybe that's how"
"Oh you're a lot of help, kid thanks" Daniela rolls her eyes, glancing at the ten year old in her rear view mirror.
"Hey, I got us here. It's Emma's turn to take the wheel"
Emma sits in her thoughts.
How the hell was she supposed to do this again?
"Oh right!" The blonde reverts back to reality.
"Henry's right, true love can break any curse" she agrees
"Okay? So who's your true love?" Daniela asks
Emma thinks "I…I don't know" she frowns
"Or at least I don't remember" shit.
Henry sighs
"Oh come on, we can't give up that easily"
Dani parks by the school and gets out of the car with Emma and Henry following her inside.
"Henry, how about you lead us to Ms. Mary-Margaret." Dani asks the kid.
He nods knowingly and leads the way to his classroom where the three find a frazzled Mary-Margaret, better known as Snow White where she comes from.
The teacher had been getting ready for her class this morning.
"Oh hello"
Emma stares at the woman in front of her in shock unable to muster up a response.
"Hi, Henry" Mary notices the pair with one of her students, the mayors son at that.
"Hi, I'm Daniela" Dani jabs Emma with her elbow, snapping the woman out of her trance.
"Emma. Emma swan" the blonde savior extends her hand to the elementary teacher.
Mary happily shakes Emma's hand.
"Nice to meet you, are you family? From out of town perhaps?" She questions
"Something like that." Daniela smiles.
"We're just dropping Henry off for Regina" The brunette continues.
The teacher who wore a flowing Dress with flowers plastered all over it nods, her pixie short hair cut was throwing Emma off.
Her mother would never cut her hair.
Her blood begins to boil but she keeps her cool instead
"See ya later Henry" Emma says to the ten year old.
"It was nice meeting you" Dani waves to Mary and Emma offers a tight lipped smile to the teacher before making her way out of the building.
"Stick to the plan, Kid." Daniela tells Henry, giving his brown hair a ruffle before following Emma out.
"Got it. Stick to the plan. Later!" He waves.
Daniela decided to give Emma some space. She could see that the blonde was obviously in shock and very upset.
Just all the more reasoning to break the curse As fast and efficiently as they can.
Dani didn't know how to feel either, Regina is her mother. She's known for a long time but when Henry found her that day…
6 months ago…
"Taylor!" Daniela yelled from where she stood in her New York City two bedroom apartment.
"I have work in—." Waiting by the front door she checks the Rolex on her wrist
"30 minutes, C'mon!"
Taylor had woken up late this morning and the pair only had one car at the moment. That was Dani's car.
Taylor would get her own back in the coming months, it was only right to share.
Taylor and Daniela had been friends forever, since their first foster home together. They'd been split up a few times but they always found their way back to each other and after their incident in Storybrooke 10 years ago, the pair never parted.
"I'm coming! I'm coming" A 27 year old platinum Blonde girl called Taylor comes out of the bathroom hurriedly. She's taller now of course and very well put together.
Taylor slips her sneakers on at the door. She was a personal Trainer at her own All Girl Gym.
Seriously, there were no men allowed in there.
The 27 year old woman's hair was pulled into a slick back bun, her Green eyes Shined, matching The sweat pants and green Sports bra she wore.
Daniela Had gone to Law school, she promised she'd make something of herself if it was the last thing she did.
After Passing her LSAT they celebrated heavily and even got a bigger apartment.
There was a Sudden soft knock on the door.
"Who's that?" Taylor looks at the door from where she stood frozen.
Was it her ex boyfriend?
"Relax" Daniela Looks through the peephole only to find a short brunette boy holding a big Brown Book in his hands.
"It's a kid"
"What if it's a trafficking Tactic?" Taylor was always so paranoid
"Just relax" Daniela swings the door open
"Can I help you?" She asked the obviously small boy who stood outside in her building hallway. They were on the 13th floor
"Are you Daniela?" Henry asks Hopeful
"Uhh…" Daniela looks down both ways of the hall cautiously in confusion.
"Yeah" the Lawyer Responds
"I'm Henry. I'm your brother" He smiles
Taylor's eyes widened.
They did not have time for this.
