Chapter 19: Rebuilding

The next day, JNNPR's dorm, 21st April 17 BBY, 09:00 am…

Nathan's eyes slowly but surely fluttered open as the pleasant smell of pancakes came to his nostrils.

"Morning."

Nathan turned to his right to see the smiling, beautiful face of Blake a few inches away from his, and smiled back, saying: "Morning. Sleep well?"

Blake snuggled up, replying: "Any time we sleep together, it's an amazing night's sleep."

Leaning in, Nathan greeted his girlfriend with a gentle kiss, before looking down beneath the sheets, and being reminded that Blake was hardly wearing anything.

Memories of what they had done whilst Nathan's teammates slept reached his recollection, and he smiled.

"Last night… was something else." Blake remarked. "It's something we definitely have to do again. In my dorm."

Nathan grinned. "I can live with that." He replied, reaching down and pulling Blake close, moving his hand down and squeezing her ass.

Blake gasped, and bit her lip, just as a voice nearby said:

"Oh good; you're both awake. Was wondering when you two would wake up."

Nathan and Blake looked to see Ren stood by the bed, holding two plates of steaming pancakes. "Oh, morning Ren." Nathan said, sitting up in bed. "Thanks for the breakfast in bed."

"It's not problem." Team JNNPR's self-appointed cook replied. "Jaune felt you'd appreciate it; given your activities last night."

Nathan's eyes went wide, as did Blake's. "You mean you…"

"They didn't. Nora, neither. I did. I just didn't want to interrupt you." Ren responded. "Jaune did tell me to tell Blake to watch where she threw her panties, though. They landed on Pyrrha."

Blake hid herself in the sheets, unable to meet Ren's gaze as he chuckled.

"No need to worry, Blake. Nora says she's impressed you were able to stay quiet. She wasn't able to when we showered." Ren added.

Nathan nearly choked on his pancakes as Blake laughed out loud.

"So… we woke Jaune and Pyrrha up with our… shower shenanigans." Ren said. "Though amusingly, Pyrrha first thought Blake's underwear was Nora's."

Nathan chuckled. "Of fucking course." Nathan said.

"Either way… enjoy your food, and we will see you later." Ren added before turning and leaving the room.

Only then did Blake sit up in bed, having lowered her undershirt so that her modesty remained in case anyone came in. "Well… that was… slightly embarrassing." She remarked.

"We're still doing it in your dorm at some point." Nathan declared as they both started eating. "Whether it's while your teammates are asleep or could come in at any moment…" Nathan let the rest hang in the air as he and Blake continued eating.

Once their food was finished, they set their plates down, and looked each other, unsure what to do next.

"I'll… be in the shower." Blake said, climbing out of bed and walking towards the bathroom.

Stopping a moment, Blake looked behind her to Nathan, and with a grin, removed her clothing, so she was completely naked with her back to Nathan.

Nathan could only watch, his shaft hardening at the mere sight of her exposed, as Blake turned her head and gave a wink before stepping through into the bathroom.

Nathan's mind was set on what to do, but he waited until he heard the sound of the shower running before making his move, heading towards the bathroom himself.

The bathroom…

Blake's silhouette within the shower was all too appetising for Nathan as he approached, quietly removing his own clothes before stepping in behind Blake.

"Guess you accepted my invitation…" Blake said gently, not looking behind her.

"Can you blame me?" Nathan asked in response, wrapping his arms around her from behind, one hand starting to fondle Blake's breasts whilst the other slid down to her most sensitive area, finding it soaking wet. And not because of the water from the shower.

Running his finger over the narrow slit, Nathan felt Blake stiffen in his grip, a gasp escaping her in that moment. A grin crossed Nathan's face as he began rubbing it. Being able to hear her moan and gasp with desire was music to his ears after having to stifle them the previous night, planting a kiss on Blake's neck where the neck met her shoulder and lightly sinking his teeth into Blake, hearing her shiver in anticipation.

"Nathan…" Blake mewled, just as Nathan's mouth left her neck. "I need you…"

Nathan nodded and spun Blake around so she was facing him, gluing his lips to hers in a passionate, desperate kiss as Blake leapt up, wrapping her legs around his waist just as Nathan pinned his girlfriend to the wall.

"Take me, Nathan…" Blake begged. "Don't bother being gentle about it!"

Nathan got what Blake was asking. She didn't want to be made love to. She wanted to be fucked. Her wish was his command.

Without warning, Nathan took himself and shoved himself deep inside Blake hard, hearing her moan loudly just by that.

"Fuck…" Blake moaned.

"Exactly what I'm planning on doing… to you." Nathan said, bringing himself back only to slam himself violently into Blake again, hearing her respond with a loud moan, doing so again and again until he was driving himself into Blake at a rough, hard pace.

Blake's response was to scream and moan at the top of her lungs, fingernails digging into Nathan's skin and leaving deep, bloodless gouges as she raked his back, begging: "Yes… take me you animal… fuck me… make me scream…"

Nathan planned to do all three, somehow quickening and hardening his pace even more. He'd needed to hear Blake screaming and moaning, begging him to make her his.

The hard, rough pace had its downsides though, and one was that he could feel his limit approaching, far more quickly than it usually would.

The same apparently could be said for Blake, who said: "Nathan… I'm gonna…"

"Me too…" Nathan said, slowing down and beginning to pound Blake into the shower wall with deep, powerful thrusts.

"Fuck, fuck FUCK!" Blake screamed. "Oh gods; oh gods… I'm gonna…"

Within moments, Nathan felt Blake tighten around him again, squeezing his cock and his hips as she came.

In that moment, Nathan knew he had to do the same, but held back the tide just enough to pull out of Blake, stepping back as Blake dropped to her knees, finally letting out an orgasmic grunt as jets of his cum erupted from within, coating Blake's breasts in the warm, thick substance.

After about ten seconds, the seemingly endless stream of cum finally finished erupting, and Nathan sank to his knees in front of Blake, their eyes meeting as their foreheads pressed together, seeing nothing but love reflected back at each other whilst catching their breath.

Finally, they sealed things as they normally did after sex: With a passionate, loving kiss.

With Jason, half an hour later…

Nathan was going to Vale for the day.

Jason couldn't say he blamed his former friend. Nathan probably needed more time to think over what was said the previous day.

Yet as he watched Nathan step onto the shuttle with four of his friends, one of them being his girlfriend, Jason couldn't help but wish Nathan wasn't going.

He wanted to talk to Nathan and see if he'd made a decision. But it appeared Nathan was going to make him wait.

A gentle hand found his shoulder, and Jason looked to see Winter stood there.

"He'll be back before dinner, Jason." Winter assured him. "Weiss told me they were going into Vale to gather materials. Something about setting their dormitory right."

Jason scoffed. "And what am I going to do in the meantime?" He asked.

"Well; we could always explore Beacon." Winter suggested. "In our preparation for you to meet with Nathan yesterday, we never really were able to look around. And in my last visit, Weiss and I never got that chance either."

"As long as we get to take a few detours along the way." Jason responded, turning to his girlfriend.

"Oh? And what may these detours entail?" Winter inquired, a sultry grin on her face as she wrapped her arms around Jason's neck.

"Oh, maybe a little making out, giving some parts of you a good squeeze, you know." Jason responded.

Winter shrugged. "I might be tempted to allow you such liberties. We have been together for a month, after all." At that, she pulled Jason closer and kissed him.

Pulling Winter closer, Jason deepened the kiss, moving a hand down and lightly clapping it over Winter's bottom.

Gasping, Winter broke the kiss, grinning. "We may not have reached that stage in our relationship yet… but once we do… you had best be ready to finish what you're starting."

"Of course." Jason said as he kissed Winter again, this time squeezing her ass.

Breaking the kiss again, Winter shook her head. "You are the worst influence in my life, Jason Stone. I do hope you realise that."

"Not my fault you're the most beautiful woman I've ever laid eyes upon." Jason responded. "Just one look at you and I feel like the luckiest man on Remnant."

Winter smiled. "You're not the only one that feels lucky, Jason." She responded, kissing him again before adding: "Now come. There's only so many hours in the day, and as pleasant as spending all of them kissing you sounds, I prefer to do more daily. Shall we?"

"Yup." Jason said as he gestured for Winter to lead the way.

Winter pecked him on the cheek before walking off, beckoning for Jason to follow her.

Jason happily obliged, matching Winter's pace before giving her a hard slap on the backside.

Winter stopped, stared at Jason sultrily for a few moments, before taking Jason's hand in hers and lacing her fingers through his, laying a head on Jason's shoulder.

Pressing his lips to the top of Winter's head, Jason heard Winter breath a happy sigh whilst the couple continued making their way throughout Beacon, rounding a corner as they did.

Only to run straight into Nathan's teammates.

Jason tensed a little as he looked at all of them.

The blonde guy was obviously the leader. He was tall, roughly Nathan's height if a little taller, with messy blonde hair and dark blue eyes.

He was wearing a pure white chest plate trimmed with gold lining over his torso and similarly-coloured bracers. Additionally, he was wearing black gloves with gold-coloured metal armour plates over his fingers, and a red sash was visible around his waist, over which was a single brown belt with a pouch included worn around his waist, on which was belted an impressive looking longsword. Completing his look was dark brown laced boots.

Flanking him on his right was the red-haired woman Jason had thought could pass for Nathan's twin sister, giving Jason a look as if she wanted to punch his lights out but was forcing herself not to.

On the blonde guy's left was a short, attractive young lady with shoulder length orange hair and aqua coloured eyes that were currently staring at Jason with a look that suggested she very much wanted to hurt him.

She was wearing a white sleeveless turtleneck top with a heart shaped cut-out with a diagonal cut through it. Additionally, the woman also wore a shorter, detached white sleeve on her left arm. Over the shirt was an open cropped, short-sleeved navy-blue bomber jacket with pink stripes along the sleeves alongside pink buckled cuffs. and red lining on the collar. As well as that, she was wearing a pleated pink skirt with two wide belt loops and a matching belt and white layered tulle beneath the skirt. Completing the look were knee-high pink socks just visible above her white calf-length boots with pink laces and black low heels, soles and toes.

Stood to the left of the orange haired lady was the final member of Nathan's team, a shorter man with very long black hair that had a streak of magenta travelling through it which matched the colour of the man's eyes.

He was wearing a long, sleeveless tailcoat with black and silver trimming. Under it was a black, sleeveless turtleneck with red, tasselled ropes over the hips, pants that tightened below the knees and calf-high open-toed sandals. From his middle finger to his biceps ran gradient pink-to-black detached sleeves ending in metal armbands, completing his look.

Jason knew for a fact he was definitely in hostile territory, given the looks all four were giving him, and opened his mouth to utter an apology so he could leave.

Winter beat him to it, saying: "I understand you five are not on the best of terms, but perhaps we can use this meeting to foster better terms."

"Unlikely." The redhead responded, folding her arms. "He has a lot to answer for with regards to Nathan."

"I realise that, but-" Winter went to say.

"There's no 'buts' about this, Winter!" The blonde guy said. "What he said to Nathan was uncalled for and just plain horrible. He's lucky Nora hasn't already tried breaking his legs." Gesturing to the orange haired girl.

"That's an oddly specific plan." Jason pointed out.

"I wouldn't test her." The dark-haired guy next to Nora said.

Jason frowned as Winter sighed.

"I merely wish to suggest you all hear him out." Winter declared. "Nathan at least offered him that courtesy yesterday evening. Perhaps you all should as well."

Nathan's teammates all shared looks, before the blonde eyed Jason, saying:

"Alright… we're listening."

Jason placed his hands on his hips. "I know what I said to Nathan was wrong. Have done since it happened. Nathan told me he wanted to believe me last night, but that he wasn't sure he could trust me."

"For good reason." The blonde noted.

"Yeah." Jason agreed. "But… I genuinely do want to try and make things right between me and Nathan. So that even if things don't go the way I want them to… I can move on with my life knowing I at least tried mending things with Nathan."

"That's suggesting Nathan would be the bad guy if he refused." The blonde pointed out. "You sound like you're forgetting why Nathan hates you. You told him-"

"I know!" Jason suddenly snapped. "But I don't mean it like that."

"Sure sounded like it." Nora noted.

Jason sighed. "You can believe me or not believe me. That's your right. Just… just know that Nathan will never be the bad guy if he refuses. He has every right to after what I said to him back at the Temple. But… can you blame me for wanting to set things right? For wanting to apologise to him? Hate me all you want. He can hate me all he wants. All I'm asking is to be listened to."

The team all looked at one another, and reluctance was clear across their faces.

Finally, the redhead met Jason's gaze, her green eyes boring intensely into his. "I'll speak with him when I get the chance." She said. "Other than his girlfriend Blake; I'm the only person Nathan will listen to on a matter like this."

Jason opened his mouth to thank her, but the woman wasn't finished:

"But… if this damages my own friendship with Nathan… consider yourself our enemy; and the next time we meet will be with weapons drawn." At that, the woman turned and walked away, followed by the rest of Nathan's teammates.

Jason heaved a heavy sigh. "I pray that doesn't happen." He said sadly.

"Neither of us do." Winter stated, taking his hand in hers. "But you do realise that this could result in Nathan being even more hostile towards you the next time you both meet."

"Yeah." Jason replied. "In which case I'll start making preparations to return to Atlas. So that I don't cause any more damage to the life Nathan's built since coming to Remnant."

Winter sighed. "It would mean we'd be apart, though." She said wistfully. "I have duties here, and… and I cannot shirk them."

"I never would ask you to." Jason said, lacing his fingers through Winter's.

Winter smiled, removing her hand from Jason's and wrapping her arms around his neck. "I know."

Their lips met within seconds of those words, and as always, Jason felt happier than he'd ever felt in his life. Winter made him happy in a way nothing else could, even the prospect of Nathan wanting to try and repair things.

Breaking the kiss, they shared a long, loving look, before Winter said:

"Come. We still have an entire school campus to explore. And perhaps we can consequently find some place to be together privately that is not our bedrooms."

Jason nodded and walked off with Winter, once again taking her hand in his.

Winter's eyes met his, and the smile crossing her face would have lit up even the darkest of nights on Umbara.

Jason smiled back. Things finally looked like they might be looking up for him.

Vale, 11:30 am…

"Kanan!"

Kanan looked up from his spot on the bench and grinned as he saw Yang rushing towards him. Standing up, Kanan hugged Yang tightly and spun her around in his arms. "There's my gorgeous dragon!" He said happily as he set Yang down.

"And here's the handsome hunk that won my heart." Yang responded before kissing him passionately.

Kanan pulled Yang closer as he deepened the kiss, before breaking it. "You okay, Yang?" He asked.

"Am now." Yang replied. "What're you doing here, anyway? Thought you had White Fang stuff to do."

Kanan scoffed. "I got some time. And what kinda boyfriend would I be if I didn't spend it with the most beautiful woman on Remant?"

Yang smiled and kissed Kanan again, before breaking it as Nathan and the rest of Yang's teammates joined them, including Blake.

"Hello, brother." Blake said gently as she embraced Kanan.

"Hey, sis. You alright?" Kanan inquired.

"Yeah. You?" Blake responded.

"Ah, can't complain. I get to hang out with a bunch of my friends, as well as my hot as hell girlfriend." Kanan replied, clamping a hand over Yang's buttocks.

Yang gasped and looked at Kanan with a scandalised look on her face. "Bad kitty!" She chided, lightly slapping Kanan on the arm.

"Well; I'd slap your breasts, but I'd rather keep my teeth." Kanan replied.

Yang smirked. "Well; play your cards right, and you might see them." She responded.

"Oh yeah, when?" Kanan asked.

"Only one way to find out, isn't there, tiger?" Yang answered before pulling Kanan into another passionate kiss.

Breaking the kiss, Kanan bumped knuckles with Nathan. "How're you doing, Nate?" He asked.

"As well as can be, considering my past caught up to me in a big way, last night." Nathan replied. "And not necessarily in a way I'd have liked."

Kanan nodded. "Can't blame you. What you claim Jason said… yikes. Wouldn't want to even know a guy after he says that."

"Truth." Nathan agreed.

"Well; we're here." Ruby said, looking at everyone. "Let's go get what we need to get back Team RWBY's bunk beds!"

Later that day…

"Well; that's part one of our mission accomplished." Kanan remarked as they exited a hardware store, having ordered the necessary materials in order to recreate Team RWBY's signature bunk beds.

The materials would be delivered to their dormitory door, and from there, would be theirs to work with.

"Yup." Yang said. "Now what?"

"Well; we could always just chill out." Kanan suggested. "I got a few hours to kill before I need to be back at camp."

Yang smiled. "I like the way you think, Mr Belladonna-Khan."

"I'll add it to the ever-growing list of things you like about me." Kanan responded with a grin, wrapping an arm around Yang and pulling her close.

"Oh yeah?" Yang said. "And is the list of things you like about me growing constantly, too?"

"Why wouldn't it when you're everything I could have wanted in a woman?" Kanan replied, leaning in and kissing Yang.

Breaking the kiss, Kanan added: "And more."

Yang's smile widened as she just held Kanan close, taking a deep breath.

Kanan planted a kiss on Yang's head at that, hearing her sigh happily. In the four months he and Yang had been dating, they'd gone from strength to strength. Yes, there had been fights interlaced throughout, but they'd managed to push through, knowing they had helped each other.

Kanan had helped Yang get the confidence she needed to return to combat.

Yang had helped Kanan break out of his shell and be a more open person than he had been beforehand.

They had only been together four months, but they just… fit together.

"You gonna fuck or what?"

Kanan and Yang broke their embrace to see Nathan stood there watching them with an energy drink in his hand and Blake holding his hand.

"Nowhere you can see us." Yang said playfully.

"Unlike you and Blake last night, if what Yang tells me happened did in fact happen." Kanan added.

Blake blushed a bit, whilst Nathan shrugged.

"Last I checked, only Ren was kept awake by us." He fired back. "The others only got woken up by Ren as he fucked Nora in the shower this morning."

"Um… can we refrain from talking about our sexual escapades in public?" Weiss asked as she joined them with Ruby.

"Babe, think we should stop?" Yang asked Kanan playfully. "I think our talking is melting the Ice Queen."

Kanan broke up laughing as Weiss pouted visibly.

"It's okay, Weiss. I'll freeze you back up." Ruby said gently as she pecked her girlfriend on the cheek, making Weiss smile.

"Anyway… let's get back to Beacon." Nathan said. "If so that Kanan and Yang can fuck in peace and seclusion."

"Nathan!" Blake chided, slapping her boyfriend's arm lightly.

Kanan chuckled. "It's okay, sis." He assured Blake. "Come on, Yang. Let's go have some fun."

Yang nodded, and together, the couple headed off to enjoy some time alone together.

That evening, over dinner…

"So, where's Yang?" Jaune asked after swallowing part of his dinner.

"Gone off back to the White Fang camp to be with Kanan." Nathan replied as he took a swig of his water. "Highly likely she's gonna spend the night there, too."

"Can't blame her." Blake added. "She and Kanan are really good together. All that remains is for Kanan to meet her and Ruby's dad."

"Well; hopefully he has a better go at it than me or Jaune had to deal with." Nathan noted.

Blake rolled her eyes. "You know my dad likes you, Nathan."

"And that my father likes Jaune." Pyrrha added.

"Yeah. I'm saying that at least Yang and Ruby's dad isn't seven feet tall and looks like he could tear you in half with his bare hands." Nathan responded. "Or six-eight and bald, looking like a single punch could kill you."

The others all chuckled, with Ruby saying:

"At least Pyrrha and Blake's dads don't kill you slowly with bad jokes."

"Your father has perfectly adequately amusing jests, Ruby." Weiss countered.

"No he doesn't!" Ruby protested.

"Meanwhile yours has hardly any dick to speak of unless money or power's involved and wears clip-on ties all the fucking time." Nathan said to Weiss.

"A rather apt description of my-wait. What was that about clip-on ties?" Weiss suddenly asked.

"You mean you've never noticed?" Nathan inquired. "I mean… it's pretty obvious once you've seen someone wearing a proper tie then look at your old man. It's clear he wears clip-on ties even in photos of him. I have no idea how no-one's noticed." At this, he fished out his scroll and searched up a picture of Weiss' father, Jacques Schnee, planting it in front of Weiss.

At the same time, Blake searched up pictures of a guy in a regular tie, doing the same thing.

Weiss looked between them, as did Ruby and the rest of Team JNNPR, and the lot of them promptly burst out laughing, especially Weiss.

As the laughter died down, Weiss declared: "Thank you for that, Nathan. I will endeavour to make this common knowledge."

Nathan smirked. "Think you'll still be considered a Schnee after embarrassing your father like that?"

Weiss nodded. "They can just refer to me as an 'anonymous whistleblower'." Weiss reasoned. "Therefore, Father will have no inclination it was me."

"Smart." Nathan responded.

"I usually am." Weiss retorted smugly. "I did get the highest marks on most of our essays and the like last year." Shrugging, Weiss additionally said: "Furthermore, I also believed I improved in combat. So no, contrary to what you told me last year; I will not have to sleep with the teachers."

"True." Nathan said.

"I think we've all improved, in a way." Ren pointed out. "Think back to where we were around this time last year."

"I was still a naïve little girl who thought being a Huntress was like the books at home." Ruby stated. "It's only recently I've realised that's just a fairy tale."

"Whereas I was an arrogant brat who thought herself above you all." Weiss added. "But now; I can say I've never felt more at home than when I'm with all of you."

"Meanwhile I'm much more sociable than I was last year." Blake said. "Mostly thanks to this guy." She added, pecking a smiling Nathan on the cheek.

"It goes to show that we've all become better than we were." Ren stated.

The whole group nodded as they continued eating, conversation dying down.

"Nathan?" Pyrrha asked, drawing Nathan's attention.

"Yeah, Pyrrha?" Nathan responded, meeting his best friend's gaze.

"After dinner… I… wish to speak with you privately." Pyrrha declared.

Nathan caught a glance between Pyrrha and Jaune, but nodded. "Sure thing, Pyrrha. About time we got some one-on-one time together."

Pyrrha smiled warmly before they returned to their dinner.

Nathan silently wondered what it was Pyrrha wanted to speak privately to him about. Hopefully, it wasn't anything bad.

The Roof, later that evening…

Nathan shut the door to the roof behind him and walked over to Pyrrha, who was stood a few feet from the edge of the roof. "What's going on, Pyrrha?" He asked, wrapping an arm around his best friend and pulling her close.

Pyrrha met Nathan's gaze as she said: "Shortly after you and Team RWBY left for Vale this morning, me and the rest of the team ran into Jason."

"Right." Nathan remarked. "I'm guessing you guys spoke to him?"

"Yes." Pyrrha declared. "He was talking about how he wanted to set things right, and how he realises what he did two years ago was wrong."

Nathan nodded, sitting at the edge of the roof, inviting Pyrrha to sit with him.

Pyrrha joined him, and Nathan said:

"Thing is… I already heard all that last night."

"You did?" Pyrrha asked. "Then why-"

"Because he was trying to convince you of his sincerity." Nathan said. "Win over some people on my side."

"We still are on your side, Nathan." Pyrrha assured him. "I only told him I would speak with you for him; but that I would not allow it to damage our friendship."

Nodding again, Nathan replied: "It won't. Because I already planned on speaking with him today."

"You did?" Pyrrha inquired. "Have you?"

"Not yet. But I plan to." Nathan announced. "Last night; me and Blake were talking about it… and Blake thinks I should give Jason another chance."

"Will you?" Pyrrha asked.

Nathan sighed. "I told Blake I would; but the… voices are fighting again in my head." Upon seeing Pyrrha's confused face, Nathan explained: "The ongoing debate in my mind about whether I should give Jason another chance or not. At the moment, it's a purebred stalemate." Looking at Pyrrha, Nathan added: "What do you think, Pyrrha? And don't say what you think I want to hear. What do you honestly think I should do?"

Pyrrha took a deep breath. "I… I think you should at least allow Jason a chance, Nathan. He came all this way to find you; and… that kind of dedication tells me he means every word he says."

Nathan took a deep breath and looked at Pyrrha. "Thank you, Pyrrha." He said with a smile.

Pyrrha smiled back as the two shared a warm, caring hug.

Footsteps behind them drew their attention, and both turned to see Jason had joined them.

"I'll be in the dorms." Pyrrha said, patting Nathan on the shoulder before standing up and leaving.

Nathan too stood up, but not to leave. To face Jason.

The two Jedi stood a few feet from each other, before Jason tentatively said:

"I was worried you'd get angry at her. So…"

Nathan scoffed. "Pyrrha's one of the few people I'll always listen to without getting angry, so… you made the right call there."

Clicking his fingers, Jason said: "Pyrrha… remind me to thank her after this."

Nathan nodded. "I'll introduce you to her and the others after we're done up here."

Jason stepped closer. "So… you're giving me another chance?"

Nathan slowly nodded. "You've come this far, Jason. I… guess I owe it to our master to at least try and patch things up."

Jason took a deep, happy breath. "Thank you, Nathan. I really appreciate it."

"Thank me by not screwing up." Nathan said sharply. "Because this is the only chance you're getting."

"Got it." Jason responded before looking around. "So… now what?"

Nathan gestured for Jason to join him on the edge of the roof. "I figure we could use some time to just catch up."

Jason nodded with a smile as he sat down with Nathan, meeting the younger man's gaze. "So… what do you want to know?"

Looks like Nathan is willing to give Jason one final chance. Will Jason capture it? Or just let it slip?

Now before I randomly start quoting Eminem lyrics, let's answer some reviews, shall we?

april-551: Fate has a funny way of forcing reconciliation. As for your questions...

- Likely secretly hidden in Atlas Academy. No doubt Ironwood wants to try and replicate the technology.

- You're forgetting that most melee weapons in RWBY are also ranged weapons. Also, Nora has a freakin' grenade launcher already!

- It depends on the power of the Force user she's facing. If she faced pre-Order 66 Kanan Jarrus, she's winning hands down. If she's facing someone like Nathan or Ahsoka prior to her leaving the Order, she'd be evenly matched. Against high level opposition like Obi Wan Kenobi, Yoda, Vader or Palpatine, Penny is getting annihilated each time, and it wouldn't even be close.

- It depends on the skill of the Inquisitor in question. The Grand Inquisitor would be a major challenge, as would Trilla or the Fifth Brother, but someone like Reva would be easy pickings for the Ace Ops. Death Troopers would fare about as well as any standard military unit, no matter how large of a group is sent.

keybladelight: Nathan was at the Jedi Temple during Operation: Knightfall, so I would only assume that Nathan does indeed know Anakin Skywalker is Darth Vader. And yes, if Darth Vader does show up... hope people bring their brown pants. As for Visions and Andor; I have seen neither, though I plan on rectifying that as soon as I have time.

M.H. Pintner: Thank you for the words of advice on how to improve my fight scenes. As for Nathan wielding a double-bladed lightsaber, I might bring that into play at a later date; but we'll have to wait and see. Also; gonna make those changes to Jason ASAP.

All that said; thank you all so much for reading. If you liked it; you all know what to do.

I shall see you next week for Chapters 20 and 21, which see things start to heat up... again.
