So, we are back. Hey this is Axngelus and welcome to Chapter 1. Quite the wait, eh? Well now that I am writing this, I have concluded the Harem members. Some of you got some of them right, but most of you wrong. But just wait, disappointed or not, I will find a way to make you readers happy. But firstly, I need to go more into depth about Shirou's power during the first season and second. Yes, Shirou is going to be nerfed during season one and two of High School DxD. The reason for this is so he can somewhat relate to the characters due to them being very weak compared to him. Don't get it twisted, but Shirou will still be relatively powerful in the DxD universe, but like I said in the last part of the prologue, he won't be breezing through the story. That is until... season 3 and 4.

Secondly, I wanted to make note of some people saying that Yukari might be Illya. For one, I have never planned or thought that out the moment I thought of putting her inside the story, but I guess I can make an exception. The reason why was because Illya has technically been dead for over a hundred years. And anything that comes from the Root goes back. Which means it shouldn't be possible to drag back her soul from the Root, but I see you guys. It will be hella funny if Yukari turned out to be Illya. So yeah, uh, thank you for the idea, guys.

Thirdly and most likely lastly, is the harem problem some people have. I thought I made it clear for Shirou's reason to be living inside the DxD world, but I guess I have to give the answer out to everyone. Shirou's reason for being sent to and living inside DxD was because Rin wanted Shirou to live a new life instead of following his past life, which means pursuing his life as a "Hero of Justice". It's the same as following a goal you already completed. Which makes no sense to a regular person, but well... Shirou isn't a normal person, but! If he has already become a "Hero of Justice" then that doesn't mean he doesn't have to follow that dream again. Which is Rin's wish for Shirou to not live his past life and walk past it, including Rin. So, in other words, Shirou is made to change throughout the story and find that last part that was missing in the fire. He has recovered some part of himself, but not entirely, which is the reason why Shirou was sent here in the first place. Courtesy of Zelretch, BUT it doesn't matter now. What I am saying now is that, Shirou will change throughout the story.

I'll also go over how the power scaling is going to work out in the next chapter or break I should say. But I think I have covered everything that everyone needs to know at this point. So, for the disclaimer.

DISCLAIMER

I do not own High School DxD or Fate/Stay Night, the original owners belong to Ichiei Ishibumi and Miyama-Zero and Kinoko Nasu and Takeuchi Takahashi.

Now let's begin.

"Here it is." A red-haired woman said as she walked into the alleyway of two stores, blood smeared over the walls and other appliances alike. The trashcans, bins, and also the numerous trashes around it. This woman was undoubtly beautiful. She was buxom as well as having red hair like that of crimson, flowing down to her hips and below to her knees. She also had a body that would make many if not, all models jealous due to the perfect proportions of it. Including her breasts, thighs, and lastly face and abdomens. She was wearing a uniform of some kind. A white shirt lined up with vertical black stripes, a black overall that went over her shoulders and covered her waistline below her breasts, barely holding on with some buttons attached to the fabrics. Along with a black-like skirt that went a little above her thighs.

This woman was named Rias Gremory. A high-ranking devil within the underworld and the little sister to the current Lucifer. That is, if you're on the secret of the supernatural, but if not, you would look at her as the two Onee-samas of Kuoh Academy. She is treated as a queen in her school, not a single boy will always have a crush on her within the facilities of the academy. Excellent in studies, socializing, and finally, club responsibilities.

"Rias, I think I figured out the third-party who intervened during the time you raided the abandoned Church." Another woman appeared beside her and spoke. This woman's name was Sona Sitri, another high-ranking devil within the supernatural, and little sister to the current Leviathan. Wearing the same uniform as Rias, but differing in looks. Her hair has been styled in a bob cut and also having spectacles on top of that. Another beauty within the Academy, ranking 4th among the boys. That is if you were looking to the mundane, she is the student council president of Kuoh Academy going under the alias, "Souna Shitori". Both of them are childhood friends, meaning they have a lot of trust and respect for each other. It doesn't account for the brewing rivalry they developed over the years as friends as well.

"Sona... I'm scared for my peerage, no, all of us." Rias said. She turned to face her childhood best friend in hopes of comfort, finding none in her gaze as well. "Yeah... I can feel the same Rias. The Faceless One has appeared in our territory." Sona spoke, her voice shaking as she said the sentence.

Faceless One. An assassin widely known in the supernatural world. He or she, as some might put it, is a killer in the supernatural world. The reason for the first title is because no one has ever seen their face before. Also going under the moniker, "Red Killer". Mostly because he/she doesn't leave behind any corpse and only leaves the blood behind of their victims. Some have said they have red-auburn hair, but that has yet to be proven by their sources. They have been recounted as being superior in CQC for most exorcists, or swordsmen in the supernatural. Also mentioning the fact that they might strike you no matter how far you are away. Counting for their long-range combat prowess. A "boogeyman" in the supernatural as some put it.

Most supernatural organizations are on high alert, mostly because they know next to nothing about this individual. Even the Governor-General of the Grigori, Azazel, said quote, "Most people would think that this "Faceless One" is the boogeyman, while I think this individual was the one who killed the boogeyman himself." End quote. In other words, he's dangerous, very dangerous, if it's not obvious enough already. Although, it has been documented that Serafall Leviathan and Gabriel, has met "Faceless One" saying that 'it' is a very courteous person. And as Serafall would say, "Hero of Justice" also counting in Gabriel. It is the only thing that they both agree on, but will anyone ever believe them? Of course not. They didn't get their appearance or what sex they are, but knowing that this is documented, meant what kind of person "Faceless One" is.

But, recounting the major targets he has under his thumb, is multiple high-ranking individuals within the biblical faction. Such as; ultimate class devils, eight-winged fallen angels, including one or two cadres, and also some pure angels that were within the process of going rogue. Including some other important individuals from Church as well. Not to mention the countless lives he has taken from the series of skirmishes the other supernatural factions and communities that have tried to capture him. Coming out unsuccessful, and ineffective against "Faceless One". Whatever he or she is, almost everyone is watching their backs in order to not get an arrow through the back of their heads.

Footsteps started approaching Rias and Sona. They looked behind them, seeing their peerages' faces. A little petite girl with white hair, wearing the same uniform as the other two, without the overtop that covered, spoke. "I found something, Buchou." She spoke, point backwards towards the other members of Rias's peerage.

This petite little girl is Koneko Toujou. A rook of Rias and the unofficial mascot of Kuoh Academy. The next is Rias's pawn and only pawn of hers, Issei Hyoudou. The leader of the "Perverted Trio", following his one and only dream of becoming a Harem King and this generation's Red Dragon Emperor, boosting his two times every ten seconds. The second, Asia Argento, Rias's second bishop. Ex-Holy Maiden of the Church and wielding the sacred gear, Twilight Healing. A tool that allows the healing of any injury. The third, Kiba Yuuto, Rias's knight, and wielder of the sacred gear, Sword Birth. A sacred gear capable of creating any demonic sword he thinks of. The fourth and fifth, but not last, is Akeno Himejima and Yukari Himejima. Akeno is Rias's queen, acting as her second in command, and also vice president of the Occult Research Club. And although Yukari isn't a part of Rias's peerage, meaning she is still human, she is her contracted magician. An honorary member of the peerage per-say.

For Sona's peerage, one of her pawns is Saji Genshirou, wielder of one of Vritra's Four Sacred Gears, Absorption Line, which is self-explanatory in its own way. Her second pawn is Ruruko Nimura. Second year at Kuoh Academy and also has a crush on Saji (Not that he knows by the way). Her knight, Tomoe Meguri. An exiled member of her clan which were into exorcism. Their way of doing so was through spirit swords and the like. Sona's rook, Tsubasa Yura, a martial artist who used to beat down evil spirits and phantasmal species alike. Both of Sona's bishops, Momo Hanakai and Reya Kusaka. And lastly, her queen, Tsubaki Shinra. The vice president of the student council, sharing the same look as Sona.

The both of them looked back at Koneko, wondering about what she found. "Buchou, Koneko-chan found something over here!" Issei shouted. They followed their peerages in silence, walking towards the piece of evidence the little rook found. Once they got there, they saw a piece of metal lying on the ground. Issei picked it up, and gave it to his club president.

"Hm. Is this what Koneko-chan found? Wait, is this... magic?" Rias widened her eyes at this piece of new information, Yukari squinting her eyes as she said it. Rias looked to Sona and she took it along with the bishops as they analyzed it, Yukari staying back for some reason. "It seems to be made of magic, but it's composition and is something I haven't even seen before. I'll have to look into the archives to get a grasp on it." Sona finished, happy that she and the others found something about the Faceless.

"I knew it. I know the Faceless One would've made a mistake some way or another." She smiled at Rias, and Rias smiled back. "Alright everyone! Let's take this back and look more into-" She was cut off, everyone looking at the piece of metal as it faded into yellow golden motes of light.

"Uhm... is that supposed to happen?" Saji and Issei said, they were the new ones into the supernatural world, so they asked the obvious question on their minds. They looked at each other the moment they both said it though.

"No, it isn't supposed to happen. Usually, most magic formulas would have a set amount of time before the spell is activated." Reya replied, the other two not getting the information presented in front of them, taking an offhanded glance towards Kiba. "Magic spells have a set amount of time before they are fired, meaning that a spell's attack is delayed by how many formulas is put inside a magic circle." Still, they couldn't get it and before they knew it a metaphorical question mark formed over their heads as they were tilted the same way.

"Ara, ara. Issei-kun are you sure you aren't forgetting something? I can clearly see the amount of confusion laced on your face. It makes you look cute." Akeno off handily stated, making Issei shiver due to her tone. "You do look cute too Saji-kun." She said again, also making Saji shiver while making him blush a little, much to the chagrin of Momo and Ruruko.

"Akeno stop that. Well, you know what, we'll figure this out another time, let's get going everybody." Rias said, everyone following suit. "Sona, I think we should get going now." Sona nodded, look back towards her peerage and a still shocked and shaking Saji. "Yeah, I think we should be getting on. And besides I think I have a good idea of how the Faceless One works. I also have to get to work on checking out that new transfer student anyways." Sona said, uncharacteristically as the last part trailed off into a whisper. Only those who were close to her, which was her queen and Saji.

Saji had wide eyes, seeing how his crush was looking into a new transfer student everyone became interested. "Hoh Sona, do you perhaps have a newfound sudden interest in this new transfer student?" Yukari said, emphasizing the word 'interest' for more effect and making Saji's heart drop. "Wha-what?! No, no I do not! Instead, we should be worrying about if the 'Faceless One' is in our territory or not!" Sona shouted, making Saji calm down while adding a, "Yeah! We should worry about that instead!" Like a boy in love.

"Hm, I agree too. There are much more matters that need to be solved." Tsubaki said, taking a subtle glance in Kiba's direction, heating up Reya's face angrily.

"Well, I think there is more time as of right now, but what's the new transfer student's name?" Yukari spoke, for some reason interested in the name of the new student. Many eyes on her at this moment.

"Shirou, Shirou Emiya is the name of the transfer student. But I must ask Yukari-chan, why are you interested?" Sona counterattacked, getting back for the recent comment she made. "N-no, I-I was just asking, Senpai..." Yukari said, now capturing everyone's eyes at this moment. The stuttering in her voice meant that she knew the student, but was cut off because something broke through the Bounded Field she created.

"Someone broke through the barrier I made." Yukari spoke. it was at this moment she became guarded and soon enough everyone became guarded as well. The two peerages looked around scanning the area for any enemies, but after a few minutes nothing came up. But Yukari wasn't going to let down yet.

"Alright everyone, we came for what we came for and well... ended up with nothing, but we now have some type of lead of what kind of opponent the 'Faceless One' might be. So, let's head back and figure this out next time." Rias announced and everyone nodded heads went back.

Soon after everyone left, via magic circle. That is, after they cleared up the blood and carnage that happened in the alleyway. A certain someone stopping by, with hair as black as night along with blood red tips on the edge of his hair. His devil-like eyes filled with bloodlust scanning the area.

This certain someone is Fola Cruidhe, an S or SS-Class Stray Devil. He wields the Sacred Gear: Blood Spears of Abomination, a Sacred Gear that can produce demonic spears using the blood of his enemies or more precisely, their hearts. A Sacred Gear that has enough potential to become a Longinus Class Sacred Gear through sheer power and having the capability to kill a god or something similar to that of a god. Though the reason why it isn't considered a Longinus class is due to the difficulty of controlling the demonic spears. An untrained one will instantly lose control over the spear(s) if they are weaker than the spear itself.

Cruidhe was soon later reincarnated into a devil by the head of the Buné while laying on top of a recent battlefield that had transpired. He worked for the head of the clan, fighting in rating games and gaining more famous by the minute from the devil community. But due to the curse of the Sacred Gear he wields, he soon became bored due to the rating game rules not "Being of his standards of a warrior." he later rebelled and became a stray devil.

He is wanted for single-handily butchering and slaughtering the entirety of the Buné clan, although he left one single member alive. Their clan trait was to have control over dragonification and dragons in general, making them powerful dragon tamers that were crucial to the devil's military and also communication between the Blaze Meteor Dragon, Tannin. And also, to farm rare materials from the dragons due to dragons being one of the most powerful species in the world.

But after losing the Buné clan, they lost some of the market share with other factions and magician organizations. Using the rare materials from dragons, such as their tears, hearts, or generally any part of them is extremely valuable, mostly because their numbers have begun to dwindle down.

Fola Cruidhe can be summarized as being a "menace to society" because of his thirst for battle and blood. He is a monster among the supernatural community, building a legend around himself, gaining similar infamy as the "Faceless One". Having survived and tanked entire armies on his own and the killings of some of the Grigori's officials and being an overall boogeyman to the Church and Heaven.

I saw the devils leave one by one, right after the other. Though what made me confused was the faces they made. Although I killed many, if not, a lot of devils, I thought they were purely evil, just like the ones I fought against. I came back because I thought I might have missed something, but I guess I was right. And also, a nagging feeling that there's something more to it as well.

When I killed those rogue exorcists, I must've forgotten that I left some part of Kanshou's broken pieces on the ground after dealing with the rogues. "Sigh... I guess some things never change..." Usually I would've at least checked that I left some of the evidence behind, but I guess not. Just like any other I would've made a mistake some way or somehow, like that spectacled girl said. But it's something I will think over sometime after. I have a job to do.

I left the scene after dismissing the entirety of Kanshou's structure, the piece having gone away while in the devil's hand. I bought a house in this town, I thought it would be safe to live in this town, because after all, it is relatively small and well, I thought nothing would happen. But I curse my E-Rank luck for this occasion.

It has been a little over a month that I started living here, and well, it was peaceful for some time. But well, soon after, like... after a day or two, I spotted a stray devil in the outskirts, eating away at some remains of a human. So, I promptly killed it not after saying something that would make it into a superhero movie.

And after living in this town for a month, the supernatural spotting has become more rampant as of lately, now I see eight or more strays lying around and also some rogue exorcists. The rumors that the "Faceless One" is staying in Kuoh might've traveled a bit far in the world now. Not that I mind of course, but it makes me stay on high alert. But when I am not around taking on the moniker of "Faceless One" I work around the town. During the day in broad daylight, I work as an engineer type of guy, fixing appliances all around the town, making me some money. This also got me in some trouble with the police because I might have been too careless and had to sign in for high school.

I usually wouldn't mind, but going back to high school made me feel weird for some reason. It's probably because the only school in town is an all-girls academy, almost having no boys in the school. This makes me think back to when I was exiled and had to live on my own.

When I was exiled and left the small village that was lying in Kyoto, I decided to change my name. Of course, my new name now is Shirou Emiya, having ditched Reiji Himejima in favor of my previous name. Not that it mattered, considering that the clan got rid of any and all sources of my existence including my birth certificate and etc. But the only problem of getting my name changed was my age.

Being exiled at the age of nine made it worse when I tried to change my name. Considering by the time I tried to, there was no records of me even existing. So, instead of trying to change my name directly, I would change it indirectly. I wouldn't have to resort to hypnotism to change my name. And well, this is the start of a new life for me when I got exiled.

I started trying to find a job for me, so I can at least have a roof over my head when I make it back. Though being in a nine-year-old body doesn't help mostly because no one wanted a nine-year-old to work for them. So, after multiple rejections, I stopped myself in Tokyo and sat myself in a ramen shop. I was kind of depressed from having been rejected for jobs, well I was a nine-year old, so it made sense, but never mind that. I just... lounged around for God knows how long.

That was until the shop owner noticed me and well, gave me a talking. Asking the usual questions like, "Where's your parents?", "What's your name?", and "Why are you all alone?" I answered all of them of course, having to tell half-truths to not reveal the secrecy of the "Moonlit-World". The ramen shop owners name was Shirokishi Tachibana. He was an old man, he was seventy-one at the time, so he was old as one imagined him to be. Once he asked what's my name, I contemplated on the answer. Having to be rejected from multiple places and them not caring kind of hurt me, which shouldn't be possible, considering I am a hardened man and Heroic Spirit. But the reason why I was here was because of that exact reason.

So, after thinking about my answer of my name, I decided on the one thing that I wanted to do after I was kicked out and left for dead.

Changing my name.

I told Shirokishi Tachibana, that I was Shirou Emiya. He smiled at the answer I gave him. And for some reason or another, I remembered that similar smile somewhere... I started giving him a weird face trying to figure it out somehow that was until another man came out from the backdoor and guess who it was. It. Was. Kischur. Zelretch. Schweinorg.

I widened my eyes right after spotting the Wizard Marshall himself and the one who brought me here. Tachibana looked at Zelretch and he turned back around and went inside the kitchen, then he looked back at me which I gave him a poker face. I soon later found out that he was apparently working with the ramen shop owner as the co-founder. Somewhat surprising me, but after all the stunts he pulled, I got used to it eventually, so it didn't' really matter. But seeing him again made me flare up and I wanted some answers, but doing it in front of Tachibana wasn't going to help so I waited.

Shirokishi Tachibana then invited or asked me, "Hey kid, you mind wanna stay here for a while? 'Cause I need some more man power back in the kitchen." I looked at him awestruck, and I happily said, "Yes! Yes, I will!" Like the little child I was back then, which still made me wonder how I could've given an answer like that when my mental age was hundred fifty-three, but I guess it's another thing when I have a body of that of a nine-year-old.

After some time when I was working with the ramen shop owner, I pressed Zelretch for answers. Like, "Why are you here?", "Did you set all of this up for me to end here?", and "My life in this world, did you perhaps have a role in it?" He nonchalantly answered all of them, like how I would expect, but the way he answered them was unexpected. He told me he was here so he can get a front seat for watching me and also there was no mana back on our Earth, which was obvious, but what he said next wasn't. "It's because I want you to live freely Shirou." Which shocked me to some extent, so I told him, "Didn't you finish your end of the bargain when I died?" I asked. But he promptly said, "I may have made a mistake during the crossover to our Earth into this one, but I guess it will make things more interesting for me." It came out cryptically, but it didn't matter. I just sighed seeing that I wasn't going to get anything out of him anytime soon, for years I worked inside the ramen shop, making it a home base for me and the Wizard Marshall.

Throughout the years of working at the ramen shop, it gradually grew bigger and bigger, becoming one of the biggest in Japan. Me working as the assistant chef and waiter, while Tachibana was the main chef and Zelretch would help out some time or another. But anyways, the ramen shop somehow some way grew bigger and eventually became an entire restaurant. With the added bonus of all of us becoming famous some way or another. I thought Zelretch was playing some tricks, but Zelretch says it's always my cooking that always makes the cut when it got bigger.

But one would've wondered how I could've gotten a reputation like I did now. Well, taking jobs might be a way as well. But the reward for them would be answers from Zelretch himself. But well, anything I can get from the Wizard Marshall is valuable in of itself. It makes me remind myself how weak the individuals are from this world, reminding me of the time where I killed the ten assassins and two fallen angels. But, when I fought my first rogue exorcist, I thought they would at least be on the level of my world's executors, but it turned out differently than expected.

The exorcists the Church calls in this world are weak than I could've ever imagined. Their mystic codes the regulars wield are about E to D-Rank, but nothing near the Church in my world would've made. Sure, they might be effective against devils and fallen angels, but against my world's Church's Black Keys of Providence, they are like comparing straws to stones, they don't even make it close. Although like black keys, they are mass produced, but then again, they are far from conceptual weapons that attack the very concept of one's creation. I wouldn't be surprised that a Dead Apostle could snap the blade in half easily. But then again, I am somewhat of a Heroic Spirit so I guess the gap in power is very high than what they are used to. It still makes me remember how my first job or mission have gone.

Backwards: 6 Years/Location: Japan, Osaka Prefecture

It is my first job assigned to me by Zelretch, of course he would make me do something like this, being that I have been staying at the ramen shop for a while now. Getting out to do something that I am very familiar with makes me feel somewhat nostalgic. But of course, being sent to kill someone is something that is within my range and getting answers from Zelretch may help me a little more in this world. Considering the fact that I want to see how this world's "exorcist" handles themselves, getting an actual grip on their power will help me in the long run. Discounting the assassins and fallen, because I barely or don't remember anything from that time. It did all happened in a blur.

Although I was going to take the train, but knowing that I am still a child I probably won't get through security without any magecraft or using my parameters and skills, but well I could've gone on foot, but Zelretch told me he would teleport me, for no good other reason than to do so. He simply thought it would be convenient for me to do my job as fast as possible considering that the ramen shop is getting fuller by the minute and more customers are demanding seconds every time a regular comes by.

It wasn't really a surprise for me to find that teleportation is the go-to for transportation in the supernatural world, mostly because this world is still in the Age of Gods, which still confuses me to this day. How could a world like this exist? Alaya most likely would've dealt with it a long time ago considering that the "Deterioration Period" is set within quantum time locks.

But anyways, I was teleported – courtesy of Zelretch – to Osaka prefecture. Been awhile since I've been to Osaka because I spent most if not, all of my time in Europe. At this point it was for information gathering. I was told of the general location and where they might be at, so I would gather information using... unorthodox methods. I couldn't go into bars and secret pathways anymore because of my size and age, so I would use my
"cuteness" – as Zelretch would say – to gather information by going up to adults and "poison" them, getting what I want.

Soon after, I was led into the direction of a hideout of some sort. It was pretty small by anything I have ever seen in my life, but well it made for a nice spot for a hideout. The hideout was just an abandoned warehouse on the coast of Osaka. It was most likely used to store fish and what not, but never mind any of that, I used Structural Grasp. Once after I got the information stored in my head, I noted there was only one rogue exorcist, according to the quick briefing Zelretch gave me. I sneaked my way into the warehouse undetected after dispelling the Bounded Field around it.

Soon when I landed down, I came into the confrontation with the exorcist kind of on guard, like the time against the assassins and fallen. But when I actually fought him... I kind of went overboard. He immediately thought why would a child be fighting him, but once we got into the kick of things he started to back off. I was using Kanshou and Bakuya as usual, but what the exorcist saw was a Sacred Gear.

He tried to cut me in half seeing the desperation of the situation, but I parried and sliced his arm off, taking the light sword with it as well. Right after, he started spewing some nonsense as I would put it. Saying that, "Your too late! The transaction has already been made! You won't make it in time to save those children!" Once he said this, I knew there must've been more to this job than what Zelretch suggested. But after making him give out more, I promptly cut his head off, leading to a splatter over the surrounding walls.

There was more to this than I thought, not that I could've not expected something like this to happen, considering that there have been situations similar to the one I am in right now, but dealing with something like this may need more preparation. There is an entire black market full of children with Sacred Gears, sold with exorbitant prices and materials that would make my eyes bulge out and mages that would raid the facility instantly in order to get some of those materials. I could go in guns blazing, but it would alert the other rogues around the area or in on the operation.

Usually, I would rush my way there, but the problem was that it was happening on the other side of the world over in the United States. I could ask Zelretch for a quick ride there, which is actually... the best option in all of this. I raised my head after considering all my options and ran back to Tokyo on full speed, trying not to break my legs or anyone notice.

Back to the Present

After getting help from Zelretch to transport me over the states, I ransacked the facility where they were holding the children. Well, ransacked would be an exaggeration considering that I broke everyone out, killed any and all who were involved within the operation, and dismantled or destroyed the entire black market that were selling Sacred Gears in the form of human children. 'I wonder how are they doing right now...' Most of the people who were in on the operation were just rogue exorcists and some strays from the other factions who were selling children with Sacred Gears, so they weren't that hard to deal with.

This was entire incident that was called the, "United States Sacred Gear Market Dismantlation Massacre" As quoted by the supernatural, and where the legend of the "Faceless One" began. And basically, everyone in the Moonlit-World were frightened to some degree, with the devils having to throw a hissy fit for losing their Sacred Gear suppliers, Grigori for halting the development of their own Sacred Gears and their own users. And well... Heaven for gaining more numbers while some of the others who were saved, disagreed to joining any of the other factions and went back to their own families. They were stolen and kidnapped from their families, so I would've expected that they had to have gone back to them.

It took at least three years for all of it to come crashing down, with me watching making sure something like this doesn't happen ever again. But well, something other to think about some other time, but now I need to head back to my house, mostly for sleep and also to eat something. Also, to mention that I have to go back to high school in two more days, starting on Monday of course.

There have been many things that happened before my house was built. One, would be the many amounts of phantasmal species that "live" in this small town. Many of the phantasmal species that live in town usually don't harm any if not all of the humans here. They mostly try to blend in or coexist with the humans instead of butchering them like most of the beasts that I would encounter. But, just because many of them don't harm humans, many if not, most of them massacre humans. Just like the ones I faced off before, they died by my hands. They are usually stray devils, vampires, rogue exorcists, and other miscellaneous phantasmal beasts.

Another situation that popped up was with the devils "governing" this town. I don't believe them, but after learning about how they commute with the humans in this town, I don't try to stop them. But then again, if they do, well... they get an arrow through their heads. But back on course, there was a scuffle between the devils and rogue fallen angels. There were some fallen angels that were unofficially setting up a base to eliminate sacred gear users and to pick up another sacred gear user for their own means. One of the victims were Issei Hyoudou, a known person within Kuoh Academy and the leader of the "Perverted Trio" ... whatever that is. I saved him from the Fallen Angel Raynare, the leader of the Fallen who set up a base here. The other victim was Asia Argento, Ex-Holy Maiden from the Church and wielder of the Sacred Gear, Twilight Healing.

During the time where the second half of the devils were raiding the Church I intervened, killing most of the rogue exorcists and eliminating the other party that tried to come in as well. Although some of them got away, I think it was enough of a deterrent to make sure to not come back again. My reason for doing this was because... Asia was going to die because of the sacred gear extraction and my second reason was because of my roommate, Kalawarna. She defected after watching me, take groceries from the store into my... house... Okay, it was a weird meeting, but knowing that she defected from Raynare's operation for a "new life" supposedly. But well, after getting to know her after these few weeks, she isn't a bad person. It's just that... after all the fallen angels and devils I killed... they are people. And also, that I find her randomly using me as a body pillow in the mornings and that she is slightly sadistic in nature.

Just like in biblical texts, their values and way of life is different from that of a human, but I never or don't discriminate them for any reason. My dream of becoming a Hero of Justice has been completed, but... I realize that I can never stay away from it. Endlessly trying to regain what was left in the fire, I pursue the same goal that I did in my last life.

Soon after reaching my house, I took a good look at it. It was styled in the same way my old house was back in Fuyuki just bigger in a sense. Something similar to that of a traditional Japanese mansion, but keeping the same feel and look to the one back in Fuyuki. It started being built two years before I came to Kuoh and well... every time I look at it, it gives me nostalgia in a good way. Anyways, I head inside, sliding the door open and taking off my shoes. "I'm back home." I spoke. I heard footsteps coming from the hallway in front of me before a familiar lilac haired girl appeared in front of me. "Welcome back, Senpai." When she said that, I reached my hand out, not before she faded away. And instead revealing Kalawarna.

She had the similar look of Rider; her hair was styled the same as Rider, but having one side covering her left eye. The way I would describe Kalawarna is if one were to combine Sakura and Rider together Kalawarner would be that person. Right now, she was wearing the same revealing "business suit". It was crimson red, but instead of having nothing covering her legs, this time she put on stockings as I can see, but that was generally it. "I'm heading out Shirou." She spoke.

To at this, I ignored her focused on the vision I had of Sakura. I looked down at my feet, lowering my hand too with a sad expression on my face. "Sakura..." I sighed; I thought I already get away from the short visions I sometimes have, but no matter. I should just get some sleep- "Wait, who's Sakura-Hey Shirou are you okay?" Kalawarna came forward to check up on me. Seeing that she was coming forward towards me, I snapped out of my stupor. "Huh? Oh yeah, I'm fine..." I said, the last part I trailed off of and it turned into a whisper.

"You sure? Because you looked a little downtrodden." Kalawarna voiced her thoughts out. I'm pretty sure she saw me look sad, and also, I may have been too loud on to voice Sakura. "Yeah, I'm sure, Kalawarna." She backed off a little after I said this. I looked right at her seeing the worry on her face stick a little. "Alright then, whatever you say, Shirou. But I just wanted to inform you that I'm heading out." Kalawarna said.

"Hm, to where?" I said, I was thinking about where she would be going at this time, but since she is a fallen angel... "I thought you said you left the Grigori out of fear that they might retaliate against you, right?" I looked right at Kalawarna after saying this, and when I did so, she turned her head away from mine, looking downwards a little.

"Well... would you believe me that I said that only to keep myself in a little? Y'know, just... thinking about myself and what I'm going to be doing forward. I may have lied to you, but can we let that slide? I hope you can understand what I am saying, Shirou." Kalawarna spoke. I understood what she was saying. She wanted to go back to the Grigori for some reason, but will tell me why she did so later. Perhaps to apologize for why she participated with Raynare and her entourage? It didn't matter then, if she was going back then I should let her go.

At this I nodded my head, saying, "I understand Kalawarna, you need to go back. I hope you can solve your problems over there then." When I said this, she looked relieved, like a massive burden that has been lifted over her shoulders. Her face brightened, staring at me for a little longer than I expected, but nonetheless, she looked happy a little now.

"Sigh... thank you for everything that you've done Shirou. But one last thing before I go." Kalawarna said. I tilted my head a little when she said this, I wondered why she would forget something, but then she- "Mhmp-!" pressed her lips against mine, adding her tongue in as well as she started to play with mine. I-I think I was starting to get it a little now.

Wondering why she would always appear in my bed, using me as a body pillow, to sometimes pressing her breasts against my back when I was cooking to, finally this moment. I thought she was using me for emotional support because over the time that we've been together was little to say the least, but the more time we spent the more cracks there have been in her character.

It was then she separated from me, having a string of saliva fall down as she did so. Having a satisfied look on her face, she spoke. "Hm, not bad for someone like you, but I guess it is to be expected from the legendary 'Faceless One'. But I think it's time for me to tell my real name." I had shocked look on my face having a 'O' shape. But I was starting to regain my composure a little. "My true name is Camael, the Archangel of War, Strength, and Courage. Although it is a little outdated, but it doesn't matter. The Fallen Hammer that Strikes God, is what I was called in the Great War. Call me by it from now on." I finally regained my composure and filed the information she told me. When Kalawarna or Camael realized this, gave me a peck on cheek and said, "We will meet again, dear." and, instead of two black wings, twelve purple wings came out and she flew off into the midnight.

I just stood there dumbfounded for a little while, 'Wha-what just happened?' I thought to myself. I didn't know I would get a love confession today, but... I think I just need some sleep at this point.

Shaking my head and finally taking my shoes off, leaving them nicely on the ground where I used to put them back in Fuyuki. I walked through the hallways through the dark house, looking around for the same door where my original bedroom was being kept at. When walking to my room, I noted the nostalgia the moment I would reach some part of the house that I used to be at. Like Kiritsugu's room or when I stopped by the living area and the connected kitchen with it. I visualized the moments I had during this moment, looking at the bittersweet past. Seeing my guardian or surrogate older sister, Taiga Fujimura, me, Rin, and... Sakura. I smiled at this before leaving to head to my room.

Soon after I reached it, I slid the door open, looking at the futon lying down on the floor. Not before I took a shower and changed my clothes from the sweaty and hot clothes into shorts and a blank, white sleeveless shirt. I took the blanket and lied down, putting the blanket over my head, closed my eyes and let the calmness of the room take me out.

"Chirp, chirp." A sound of a bird awakes me from my sleep, drowsily waking me up. "Ugh... What time is it?" I opened my eyes seeing a bird on top of my chest as I woke up instantly, rubbing my eyes as I got up. The fluttering of wings as the bird flew to the drawer behind me. "Yawn... Goodness, why now of all times..." I looked towards the bird that was perched on the edge of the drawer; holding the pendant Rin gave me ever so long ago. "Give me that back." I reached out my hand, and I tried to grab hold of the pendant – the keyword being tried – as the bird flew away again, right next to the somehow open sliding door. "Alright, so you want to play that game, huh? Well two can play that one as well..." I immediately jumped at the bird, only for it to fly out and go straight to the living room, which I reluctantly chased after it.

I soon reached the living room, which I then used Structural Grasp to get a read on it, and just as it turned out, it was a familiar. This made me confirm that someone was playing tricks on me, which I connected it to one person and only one person. "Zelretch, I swear... I will-!" I was soon cut off shortly by massive killing intent, a person coming at me the same way Lancer did back in the grail war. Sensing someone breaking through the Bounded Field I made, I rolled over to the side and the bird that Zelretch sent me dispersed into motes dropping the red pendant.

The figure of the person who attacked me landed softly on the floor of the room. As he landed, he looked straight at me and I stared at him. He had black hair, like that of the night with the color of blood red on the tips of his hair. He had it styled upwards revealing his forehead. His beast eyes – even though it was still morning – shone with crimson red. They dripped with bloodlust and ferocity, similar to a predator. He wore a red shirt with a leather coat on and blue jeans with a chain strapped to it. But what put me get on guard quickly was the spear he was holding. It was blood red, formfitting and emanating a massive amount of bloodlust, so much that it radiated the room and outside.

"Trace, on." Quickly whispering my aria, my magic circuits and crest opened, sending the necessary information through my head and completing the seven steps in an instant. I took a glance at the spear, quickly realizing it was this world's version of what "Demonic" felt like. It was not the familiar demonic feeling I was used to instead; it was just... pure demonic energy melded together.

Judging the Concept of Creation...

It was a spear, a spear made from the blood of its enemies, using the hearts of its enemies and molded into one spear through one of God's Abominations in an attempt to recreate the legend behind Ireland's Greatest Hero through his Sacred Gear and using the blood of his previous enemies to create it.

Although it is a demonic spear; it was weaker than what I expected. The feeling not the same after analyzing the concept it was made from.

Hypothesizing the Basic Structure...

A demonic spear used to hunt the blood of its enemies and rip their hearts out. A form fitting spear made to the right length and width for its wielder and creator.

It was a creation shockingly close to the spear of the greatest hero of Ireland, but differing in it's make and uses.

Duplicating the Composition Material(?)

Even though it was made through one of the machinations of God's creations, it still had the base metals used to create a regular spear, with the blood of those who have fallen victim to the spear coats it, and cursing the spear.

It was made through the Sacred Gear: Blood Spears of Abomination, a fitting name for the creation of the spear itself, although the spear lacks something more to be complete. It rests as it's wielder's most trustful weapon, carrying it through battle after battle.

Imitating the Skill of its Making...

Although made through inhuman methods, no hand has ever touched the accursed spear, but it become full through its wielder's needs and will, forming the cursed spear that it is today.

(Error: Can't recreate the skill of its making... Authorize the use of Muramasa Magic Crest?)

(Authorized, appending for lost skill...)

The spear can't be recreated through regular means, but with enough skill through the use of Muramasa's techniques, the recreation of the spear can be complete. Such is that the skill of the Blacksmith who Has Reached the Realm of the Gods.

Sympathizing with the Experience of its Growth...

It has been through countless battles over the years, amounting into the 'monster' its wielder is now. Through thick and thin, it never broke no matter how much blood it had stained it.

No matter how much blood the spear and its wielder gained, it grew stronger through every battle, hunting down its prey perfectly each time it went through its enemy's heart.

Reproducing the Accumulated Years...

It was somewhat young compared to its wielder's peers, they ranging from millenniums, while its wielder reaching a century old. But still, the cursed spear stood by its creator's side, becoming his most trusted weapon above all others he had.

The making methods used to make this spear dating over millenniums; while its creation is simply decades old compared to the legends it had formed with the use of one of God's Abominations.

Excelling every Manufacturing Process...

Its name is Fiach Croí Fola. It will hunt down the hearts of his opponent no matter where they go, using their blood as a catalyst in order to do so. Capture them, rip them, and slaughter them.

Its wielder's name is Fola Cruidhe, wielding the Sacred Gear: Blood Spears of Abomination. He carries many demonic spears, each from using the hearts of his enemies in order to create them. A true warrior at heart, seeking to only bathe in the blood of his enemies no matter how far they run or hide.

Once I came back to my senses after receiving that information, he smiled at me. "Hoh... seems like I was correct." I stood up as he spoke, using my Mind's Eye for the correct move in this confrontation – ready to trace Kanshou and Bakuya at a moment's notice the moment he attacked. 'It's already morning and I have to deal with this? I hope Kalawarna- I mean Camael doesn't get mad at the damage. But it's good that I at least I got back Rin's pendant.' I thought to myself not taking my eyes off of my opponent. Wait... morning? I took a glance outside the kitchen window. It was still dark outside, so I must've overslept for some time.

"Hehe, so I guess introductions are in order." I didn't do anything yet, keeping my neutral stone-cold face. And reaching the height of it when I began to get into the right mindset, it was when he spoke again. "Well, it's only natural for warriors to introduce one another before the battle starts, isn't that right, Faceless One? I am Fola Cruidhe, hailing from the lands of Scandanavia." I didn't say anything just staring at him, taking subtle glances at other spots at him, letting Mind's Eye transfer the information just in case the fight begins.

"I like that face you have Faceless One..." He trailed off for some reason making me feel off put by it until he finished. "Well, I shouldn't call you 'Faceless One' now that I've seen your face now, right? I'll just call you Red... or should I say, Shirou Emiya." I didn't say anything again. As of right now, I was analyzing every single little detail and storing it, ready to eliminate this "threat".

His spear, Fiach Croí Fola, is a spear that can be described as the child spear to Gáe Bolg and Hrunting because it possesses both aspects of the weapons, but what made me relieved was that it wasn't a noble phantasm. Meaning that a "True Name Release" won't output the full potential of the weapon itself. If that were to happen though... I probably won't be able to survive without the use of Avalon to save me.

"As much as I hate that old geezer for telling me to 'gather information quietly' I think I should do it my own way, isn't that right, RED!" When he said the last part he charged at me, using his spear for a quick thrust.

At this moment, I projected Kanshou and Bakuya. I used Bakuya for a vertical thrust, letting it skid against the spear Fola was wielding, creating sparks nearly pecking my face, cutting some of my hair off. It wasn't a good idea to get hit by a spear that essentially had the same qualities as Gáe Bolg and Hrunting, just without the "reversing cause and effect" aspect of the spear.

"Ura! Ura!" He shouted, pulling back his spear and thrusting two more times. I blocked easily with Kanshou and Bakuya, but my only problem was staying in this small room. So instead, I ran, using the same path Lancer would follow me out into my backyard. "You aren't getting away so easily, Red!"

Smashing the glass open, I head outside and landed on the dirt ground, Fola appearing in front of me. We both stood a solid... 10 meters away from each other? But it was at this time and place, was where the biggest tension was building up. As much as I wanted to make him scram, it would reveal my biggest asset in this encounter which wasn't good. We just stood there, staring at each other, making sure who would make the first move.

"You ain't gonna take it first, huh? But I guess that what makes you interesting, Red. But how about one more clash, INSTEAD!" He announced. I raised my eyebrow at the exclamation, but he came at me with something on par like that of a Heroic Spirit. Blocking and parrying again with only Bakuya, we came at a stand point when we both rushed at each other. He thrusted, but I parried with Kanshou, I spun around and kicked him. He blocked with his spear, putting him off balance. "Tch-!" I ran at him, at this, he summoned his other demonic spears counting up to seven in total. Using my Mind's Eye and the experience of how the Golden King would fire his weapons, I calculated the spots where he would fire.

With seven quick thrusts he launched them at me. They were coming at a hundred kilometers per hour, but nothing I couldn't handle. I dodged and weaved between every single one of them, making sure I didn't get hit or nicked by any of them. "Damn it! I guess you were stronger than I thought you would be, Red!" Fola swiped his spear upwards and this is when I reinforced myself to the max I could, and here it became a barrage of attacks, strikingly similar to Saber and Lancer's clash in my backyard.

Right, up, sideswipe left, thrust forward- Was all that was on my Mind's Eye right now. Coming out victorious was one thing, but surviving was another. I did make progress by getting some hits on him, but they were only for marking his traces. It was when he separated from the clash we stopped. "Heh, you aren't called the 'Red Killer' for shits, am I right? It was indeed fun to fight you, but it has to stop now."

When Fola said that, I was on guard immediately, thinking he was about to unleash an attack similar to a noble- "How about this," He spoke, "We continue this tonight. That old geezer I am working for would like meet you, but I guess y'know what is going to happen if you do. That is, if you make it out alive through is army of undead of course. He's responsible for the missing people during this time. So instead, meet me at the edge of Kuoh where the abandoned warehouses are. We start at 10:00 PM."

I was dumbfounded. I didn't think he would give or sell out his own employer. Even giving me the location of where they were stationed at. But it during this time was where he left. "Heh, don't be late, Red." He jumped on the border of the house and he went and ran off.

I moved my foot a little, but I gave a thought to his challenge or duel, stopping me. 'The heart of a true warrior lies in their mind, not strength, huh? I'll take your challenge on Fola Cruidhe.' I thought in my mind, accepting the duel. I also would be figuring out why there would be random undead in the alleyways as well. It would be knocking out two birds with one stone. I also took in about how he said an army of undead, thinking back to how Dead Apostles would fight. 'This is truly going to be tricky if I am going up against something that is the equivalent to what a Dead Apostle is.'

I do have ways against them, like black keys, but the real problem would be revealing my true capabilities if the 'Old Man or Old Geezer' lives, not to mention the devils as well. If they get a report out on me, then who knows what will happen?! It is a tough decision, but if I want to save everyone in this town, it would be worth it if I reveal a little of what I am capable of. "I guess, I should prepare now... But I hope Camael doesn't get mad at me for what I am about to do..."

"Everyone should be here now. And Rias, I brought out the documented you asked for." Sona said. She placed the documents on the – for some reason massive table – in Student Council Room. Sona placed them all out, getting help from her queen Tsubaki Shinra and the other secretaries in the Student Council while everyone else watched. Including Rias's entire peerage and Sona's. They were all here for a meeting to take down two stray devils. Each of them being ranked around S-Rank, while there was one that was easily SS-Rank.

You might be wondering why both peerages are here at this moment? Well, that is because... there is a meeting to combat the two S-Ranked devils Fola Cruidhe, and Spitzner Heinly. It was an impromptu meeting as you can guess and the two Kings are having a hard time thinking about how this "operation" is going to go. Both of them are shaking, mostly because they might not make it out. While holding on some hope that "Faceless One" might appear. He did help out Rias's peerage for some unknown reason, but that was all they had.

"Rias, are you sure you want to do this? Did you even contact your brother about the situation?! We might not even make it back out!" The normally stoic Sona Sitri was breaking. Because she knew they won't be able to handle the two stray devils that were in town this time. Everyone was slightly shocked at this, for Saji it meant more to him, but for Sona's peerage it meant that Sona was mostly being right that they aren't ready to face such foes.

"We-well... I-I perhaps did, but I think-" Rias nervously said, but was cut off by Akeno. "We did, me and Tsubaki contacted Sirzechs and Serafall for both of you Sona and Rias-Senpai." Akeno said, much to the shock of her king. "Akeno! Why didn't you tell me-!"

"It's because Sona is right! We might not make it out alive Rias. I get it you want to impress your older brother, but this isn't something we can make lightly of Rias-Senpai." Tsubaki stepped forward as well, giving her two cents. "Yes, I also did it for you Sona. Although we know the 'Faceless One' is here, there is no telling that we might get targeted too if we jump in. We should let this slide for 'it' to deal with. We didn't outright notify that you were in danger, just that we might have some trouble. So don't worry if Serafall and Sirzechs come in guns blazing."

Rias took multiple steps back putting her head down as soon as the fourth step was taken. "U-uh..." Rias sounded defeated by this explanation between her childhood friend's queen and her's too. Soon after, Rias finally looked up. "Well... fine! I think it was a reasonable decision made by my queen!" She puffed up her chest when Rias said this, while everyone in her peerage had a sweat drop.

"Sigh... Rias we should get this over with already. Besides this might be beneficial to us if we find out what methods 'Faceless One' kills his victims or we might even find out his face as well! Think about it for a little." Sona exclaimed. Also puffing out her chest as well in the same fashion as Rias.

Rias just put a hand on her chin thinking about the extremely good opportunity they might find if they find out about "Faceless One's" features and his abilities. Afterall, almost everyone in the supernatural world was kind of afraid of the "Faceless One". The only exclusion are gods and buddhas of course, but you get the point. "Hm... you are right Sona; this actually might be a good opportunity. Yukari, what do you think about it?" Rias asked her contracted magician after considering the possibilities.

Yukari Himejima, a human that defected from her clan after her older brother, soon finding a way out. Even though Rias would've asked Akeno if Yukari wasn't here, she is basically the to-go tactician in this room, next to Sona. She was the one who planned most of the operations for hunting high profile stray devils of course.

"I think we should go with it. If we find out more information about 'Faceless One' we might be rewarded for our efforts. Besides we can also find out the identity of 'it' as well..." Yukari had a lecherous expression on her face after finishing her sentence, the last part coming into a whisper, but hearable to everyone because of their boosted hearing sense. No one, and absolutely no one knew why Yukari had a face like that on her person, but they went with it to get this meeting over with.

Sona spoke up right after Yukari, "Hm, well then, it's decided everyone. We leave at-" She looked to the clock in the room. "10:00 PM." Rias interrupted for some reason. But well, everyone in the room responded with a "Yes!" and left soon after to prepare for the hunt. Little did they know that what kind of battle were going at the warehouse...

Alright, finally. I finished Chapter 1 after like... three to four weeks? Yeah, I know, I probably took too long when I said the official chapter would be releasing at next Saturday or Sunday. I could've finished before that deadline, but I was too worried that I might get some harsh criticism when this chapter releases, but I'll take the hit. This chapter is below my standards as a writer and reader to be honest. I'll make the next chapter better. I promise. Just... be aware that you might not see another chapter for a week or even a month. But I'm just saying that procrastination is a bitch.

Okay, so my introduction for the first harem member is out of place if I'm going to be honest. Which is well... Kalawarna, but better I should say. Camael is her name that she is going to be known by. Her suddenly becoming Shirou's first harem member is bad. I knew I probably should've made another chapter that was dedicated to the Church Invasion. Which is what I'll be going over now.

Some might be wondering, "If Shirou intervened in the Church Invasion, shouldn't he notice Akeno and Yukari?" The reason why he didn't notice Yukari and Akeno was because he was taking out the other fallen like Millet and Dohnaseek along with other rogue exorcists. But y'know he left after seeing that the devils were going to finish it just fine. Which leads me into another question, if he ordered his new house to be built here, he would've scouted Kuoh before coming or during its building process. Meaning that he would've seen Akeno or Yukari, right?

Well, no. Not exactly. I'll make it convenient that he didn't see both of them because they might've not been out during the time. And also, I think I figured out how the power scaling will go through the story. Just check the second part to this. It's frying my brain if I'm going to be honest with you. I probably won't read the comments on this or give a shit about criticism at this point.

But anyways, this is Axngelus and Peace Out!
