Landing on a nearby rooftop Elena's eyes glared at the warehouse. She could hear the weapons being smuggled and festered inside
"Echolocation would be real nice right about now" Elena groaned as that wasn't quite the ability she possessed yet
"Guess we'll just have to do without" she mumbled before leaping into the night

Despite Lucy's teasing Danielle kept her eyes peered as the two girls continued to walk down the street
"Because I know I'm right about this one" Danielle said "all my reports and investigations lead up here. Daredevil's gonna show up"
With her hands in her pockets Lucy kicked a rock as the continued to walk down the street
"You said that last time babe, and the time before that, and the time before that, and the time before that"
"But this time I know I'm right. Please just trust me on this" Danielle pouted as she showed her puppy eyes
Lucky just groaned as she knew she couldn't resist her girlfriend's puppy eyes
"Fine, your lucky I love you" Lucky caved making the two girls giggle before leaning into a loving kiss
Sadly the kiss was cut short as the sound of guns firing mad them break apart and go wide eyed as they saw gunshots flash from a warehouse
"Holy shit" Lucy said
"I WAS RIGHT ! HAHA ! COME ON !"
"DANIELLE ! BABE ! WAIT ! GAHHH !"
Lucy had no choice but to follow the girl wearing a black leather jacket along with a black scarf as soon the two girls ran across the street towards the warehouse

Again Elena cut a slit on his wrist with her Sai making him groan in pain
"GAHHH !"
"NOW YOU ONLY HAVE 3 MINUTES TO LIVE START TALKING !"
Elena furthermore kept the interrogation but had to put in on pause when she heard the sound of a man charing at her with a crowbar
Throwing the man to the ground Elena quickly dodged out of the man's swing and immediately grabbed his arm turing him back to make him meet her foot knocking him out instantly before picking the fallen man back up
"WHERE'S HE KEEPING THE STOCK !"
"I SAID I DON'T KNOW ! ONLY FEW PEOPLE HAVE HIS LIST AND THOSE PEOPLE HE KEEPS ON LOCK IN KEY IN THAT FANCY TOWER OF HIS !"
With a groan Elena slammed his head onto a table and put her Sai away in it's holster
"Your Radial Artery isn't even that low dumbass. No wonder your a goon" Elena said as she examined the laid out body
Looking around the warehouse all she saw was knocked out bodies and bullet pellets on the ground
"Great now I have no leads and no one to tal-"
SNAP FLASH
Elena's ears immediately perked up as she snapped her head back to see two girls taking a picture of her from a opened window
One had dark skin and curly hair as she was wearing a black leather jacket and a black and purplish scarf while the other had white skin and short wavy blonde hair while she was wearing a greenish coat
"Uh oh" the two girls said before running away quickly

"SEE ! I TOLD YOU IT'S DAREDEVIL !"
"YEAH REAL PROUD OF YOU BABE ! NOW KEEP RUNNING !"
The two girls took a sharp left turning down a corner into a nearby alleyway only to be met by Elena when she dropped down right in front of them forcing them to hit the brakes as Daredevil took out her hand
"Give me the camera"
Danielle refused tucking the camera away under her jacket
"Look, we're sorry, but trust us we are not bad guys. I'm a detective Danielle Cage-"
"I don't care who you are ! give me the camera" Elena said with intimidation in her voice as she pulled out her Sai as Lucy pulled Danielle back a little
"Don't make me hurt you"
Stepping in front of Danielle Lucy held a stern look on her face as she placed a protective hand in front of her girlfriend
"Trust me. This is not a fight you want. Now walk away so I don't show you why I'm a pacifist"
All though Lucy didn't seemed threatened by Elena, the girl with crimson eyes didn't seem intimidated as she just shot forth with her Sai only to be met with a quick kick knocking the blade from her hand making Danielle gasp
"LUCY !"
Elena was even more shocked as she quickly growled clenching her fist before launching another strike to the blonde's face only to end up with the result of her catching her fist
"I warned you" Lucy said before sending a clean and swift kick to Elena's stomach sending her flying to the ground
"LUCY THAT'S ENOUGH ! WE ALREADY CAUSED ENOUGH DAMAGE !"
Elena just groaned, doing a kick up to get to her feet before a quick jab. One that was skillfully blocked as Lucy held her fist in open palms as she raised Elena's hand before sending a quick jab to her stomach before sweeping her leg making her drop to the floor
"LUCY ! SERIOUSLY STOP !" Danielle said as the blonde kept her calm breathes
Elena groaned again. Spitting the blood from her mouth and wiping the remains on her mouth from her glove
"Who the hell are you" Elena said as she rose to her feet pulling out her other Sai
She flipped the blade in her hand forcing the two girls to watch as she twirled it within her fingertips as the obviously saw she was ready to fight
"I see this will only end one way" Lucy said as she rolled up her sleeves
Danielle went wide eyed as she knew what Lucky had planned on doing but Elena was further more curious on the black dragon tattoo shown on her right wrist
"LUCY DON'T !"
Taking deep breaths Lucy got into her fighting position
But the weird thing was Elena had never seen anything like it
It was weird. The movements were so fluent almost like she was dancing ?
Gripping her Sai tightly Elena jumped in the air ready to strike as she saw Lucy strike right as she did
Her fist grew a bright yellow making Elena go wide eyed but right as they were about to collide Danielle grabbed both Lucy and Elena's attacks mid attack stopping them
"I SAID ENOUGH !" she shouted launching them both back as Lucy's fist hit a wall breaking it fully as Elena was sent into a pile of trash landing right next to her fallen Sai
The attack had everyone on edge as Elena shook her head recovering from whatever the hell that was and whoever the hell these two girls were. While Lucy's hand went back to normal
Picking up her Sai Elena put them in her holster before taking down her Scarf revealing her lips
"Who…..who are you two ?"
Lucy and Danielle just looked at each other before Lucy pulled down her Sleeve covering her tattoo
"My Name is Danielle Cage and this is my girlfriend Lucy Rand. and we know your Daredevil Elena Murdock"
Elena shot a shocked look on her face before dropping her head and taking off her mask revealing her face
"Ok. next question. How do you know ?"
Fiddling with her thumbs Danielle smiled
"Because our Parents were Friends"
"He said this was the spot right ?" Luke said
"You know Matt, always thinks he's the boss of everything. Loves to tell us what to do never loves to follow through" Jessica stated
"I'm picking up the vibe that he will tell us something very important that will change the outcome of everything" Danny said in his meditated pose making Jessica roll her eyes
"Jesus Danny what fortune cookie did you read that shit from"
"Nothing, he texted it to me" Danny said as he pulled forth his phone revealing a text from Matt
Immediately Luke bursted into laughter as Jessica just groaned
Soon enough Matt and Elektra landed on the rooftop grabbing everyone's attention
Everyone's face immediately lit up. Not because Elektra was there, they've seen her many times. It's because

Matt chuckled as they all noticed his maskless face
"Dude, secret identity. Hello. Aren't you always so keen on it ?" Danny said
"Most of the time, yes. But now now not so much as me and Elektra have some important news to tell you all"
"WERE MOVING IN TOGETHER !" Elektra shouted squealing with excitement as she immediately hugged Matt
Everyone else was a mix of emotions as Luke and Danny were over the top happy
"FINALLY ! YOU TWO WORKED YOUR SHIT OUT ! COME ON GIVE ME A HUG !" Luke said as he immediately rushed over and picked the two up making them laugh
Danny too smiled
"Yes, this is without a doubt existing. Finally your two souls have crossed as one making your selves soulmates no doubt"
With her arms crossed Jessica just smirked
"About damn time"
"That's not the only reason I wanted us to get together"
With a smile Matt continued to look away blindly as he smiled
"I want to make Elektra an official member of the team, or whatever the hell we are. But I wanted to go through it with you all first"
Elektra smiled at what he said before looking at Luka, Danny and Jessica
"SHE'S IN BY MY VOTE" Luke said with a smile
"We would love to have you Elektra" Danny said
Jessica was the last one as everyone looked at her as she kept her stern look
"Whatever, she can join. I need another girl on this team anyway"
Immediately Matt and Elektra smiled widely
"Well then Elektra" Danny began
"Welcome to The Defenders"

"Nice place you two got here" Elena commented as she walked into Danielle and Lucy's apartment
"Yeah well it's nothing special but it's quite cozy too. Go ahead and sit down. Make yourself comfortable. I'm just gonna go get some files"
Danielle left the room leaving Elena and Lucy to just stare at each other as Elena was perched against the couch holding her mask as Lucy leaned against her table
The tension was high between the two as they just stared at each other
Lucy's heartbeat was slow and erupt which frankly freaked Elena out but obviously it didn't show in her expression
"Nice blade's their sharp. Probably pack a mean punch" Lucy said
"Yeah, Ironic since you were about to completely punch my soul from my body with that glowing hand of yours"
Lucy smirked
"It's called the Iron Fist. passed down from my Father to me. Which is Ironic because that's not how it's supposed to work"
"So why does it ?"
Lucy sighed
"Still trying to figure that one out. But what I know is. Whoever was supposed to get it is gonna be pissed when they find me"
A chuckle escaped Elena's mouth
"Yeah well if they ever run into you I feel bad for them"
Lucy too laughed
"Thanks"
Danielle returned with a file in her hand grabbing both the girls attention as she plopped it at her desk
"Alright here I got it !"
Lucy and Elena soon surrounded Danielle as she opened up the file
The first thing Elena saw was a picture of her Mom and Dad making her smile as it was them with some other people
Danielle noticed her smile and emotion towards the picture
"Those two are my Mom and Dad" Danielle said as she pointed to the Picture of Luke Cage and Jessica Jones
"And those are mine" Lucy followed up as she pointed to the Picture of Danny Rand "well my father at least, my mom was Misty Knight"
"Like the woman with the metal arm"
Lucy nodded her head
"Cool"
Danielle continued to scroll though the file as she spoke
"Our parents were part of a team called The Defenders. It wasn't as big as the X-Men or the Avengers or Fantastic 4 but it was still just as important as they fought together in many battles. They were like family. It's how me and Lucy met" Danielle said as continued to flip the pages showing Elena everything
"Wow, I knew my mom and dad were heroes but I never knew of all this….this…..this is amazing"
A sense of joy ran through Elena's body as she flipped through all the news and such on the Defenders
"Sooooooo" Danielle began making Elena look at her and Lucy
"Now that you know we're friendly. How about we re introduce ourselves" she said making Elena chuckle
"Right sorry"
Elena stuck her hand out
"Hi, Im Elena Murdock, Daredevil by night Elena by day"
Danielle took Elena's hand giving her a friendly smile
"Hi Elena. Im Danielle Cage, Detective, Journalist, Photographer, Writer, Poet- you know what i'm getting ahead of myself" she said finishing with a laugh that made Elena chuckle
Elena took Lucy's hand next as the blonde gave her a smile
"Lucy Rand, I like to play guitar. That's manly it"
"Hahaha, well that's cool to"
"Now that we know each other" Danielle began "I must ask. I've been studying you for some time now. And I have to say. Why are you targeting Kingpin ?"
The question ran a shiver through Elena's spine
"Well besides the obvious fact that he and your Dad have a clear rivalry" Lucy said "But isn't that kinda ancient history, kinda like beating a dead horse"
"You guys wouldn't understand" Elena sighed
Both Danielle and Lucy shared a look before Danielle placed a soft hand on Elena's shoulder
"Help us understand. Were friends now"
With a sigh Elena took a handful of her scarf and stared blindly at the ground
"Kingpin is the reason my parents are dead"

Opening the window carefully Elena hopped inside the apartment building
Frank was asleep. She heard his snores a mile away literally
But frankly she was glad he was sleep
Walking up to the weapons wall Elena placed her Sai's up next to her father's Billy clubs
The cool metal was practically calling to her and it was a call she wanted to answer. It was a call she was going to answer as she slowly brought her hand up to them
For so long all she wanted was to use them. Just like the way her father did. To zip off rooftops the way he did fearlessly
A shiver ran down her spine as her enhanced touch and fingertips touched the cool metal and her senses went into even more overdrive as she gripped the weapon plucking it off the wall
"Hmm, feels lighter than I would've thought" Elena stated as she flipped the weapon in her hand
A smile formed on her face as the weapon felt just right within her grasp. Almost like it was made for her
"Oh this is gonna be awesome"
