The three girls were now aboard the Egg carrier. Naturally they were nervous because right now they were on Eggman's turf.
"Alright you two keep a sharp eye out. Eggman doesn't know that we're here" Bloom said
Both girls nodded. They went inside a place known as the hot shelter and made it to the very end of the room and saw that there were several children here.
"Why are these children here?" Maria asked
Helen looked at them and recognized them.
"These are all the children that have been reported missing" Helen said
"But why would Eggman kidnap them?" Maria asked
Bloom saw that they were in pods and noticed that the missing children had diamonds on them.
"They have diamonds on them" Bloom said
They gasped and walked over to them and saw that Bloom was right. Each kid had a diamond on them.
"Eggman must be using them as a power supply until he can get the chaos emeralds" Bloom said
"Let's bust them out" Helen said
Helen was about to smash the containers but Bloom grabbed her shoulder to hold her back.
"Bloom what are you doing?" Helen asked
"Don't be so hasty. Smashing those containers might set off an alarm" Bloom said
Bloom saw that there was a control panel and went over there to access the controls.
"Do you know what you're doing?" Maria asked with concern
"I've been taking some techno lessons from Tails. I should be able to at least release them" Bloom said
The redhead began typing into the keypad and in a couple of minutes the capsules were opened, and the children fell out of the tubes and started to regain consciousness. An alarm soon went off, alerting everyone that they were now going to be hunted down.
Amongst the children was the bully Riven.
"Nice going red dork" Riven said
"Now's not the time, Riven" Helen said
Meanwhile Eggman was preparing for the next part of his plan when the alarm on the egg carrier went off.
"What's going on?" Bokkun asked
Eggman brought up a monitor and saw that they chaos children were free.
"Those brats are free!" Eggman said
"Should we recapture them?" Bokkun asked
"No, I want you get me an ice cream sundae with bananas and a cherry on top covered with chocolate syrup" Eggman said with sarcasm
"Oof that sounds good" Bokkun said
The other robots nodded their heads in agreement. Eggman snapped back at them.
"Shut it fools! Yes I want you to recapture them!" Eggman said
Eggman decided to unleash some of his robots on them. He sent some Egg pawns after them to capture them again.
The children then exited the prison and made it onto the deck of the ship. They saw that egg pawns were coming after them. They ran away and made it to the sky deck.
"What now?" Maria asked
"We can escape on the Sky deck but we'll need to split up. Maria and Helen will lead one group and I'll lead another group now lets go" Bloom said
Bloom ended up leading a group of 6 girls with her. Two of them she recognized as Flora and Stella while the other four were complete strangers to her. They were running towards the center of the egg carrier and dodged all the cannons they were aiming at them. A girl with twin dark pigtails had a diamond on her right cheek ended up unleashing some chaos power and it turned out to be some wind powers and it sliced the cannons in half.
"Musa how did you do that?" A girl with short magenta hair asked
"I don't know, Tecna, I just don't know" Musa said
Bloom now knew two of their girls names.
"Aisha? Do you have any idea what we're doing here to begin with?" A girl with long pink hair asked
The girl with dark skin and dark brown hair answered.
+"How should I know, Roxy?" Aisha asked
Aisha then looked over at Bloom with suspicious eyes.
"She seems to know what's going on" Aisha said
More guns appeared out of the ground and started to shoot green laser bullets at them but Bloom managed to put up a shield in time to block the surprise attack.
"Hey you said your name was Musa right?" Bloom asked
Musa nodded in response.
"Destroy those guns so we can get through" Bloom said
"B-but I don't know how" Musa said
"Just concentrate and feel the power within you and then bring it to the surface" Bloom said
Musa didn't understand but she tried and managed to feel the power within her. She then aimed and fired some wind powers at the guns and managed to destroy them.
"I-I did it" Musa said
More cannons fired at them and they were forced to move on quickly.
The group managed to get to a safe zone and Aisha started to question Bloom.
"You have powers too. I saw that shield you made" Aisha said
Flora tried to be the peace maker.
"Now now calm down" Flora said
"NO! For all we know it was probably her fault that we got taken away in the first place" Aisha said
Tecna saw Bloom as a suspicious person too since she also knew how to draw out the powers that they possessed.
"You seem to know the person pretty well too. I don't think you can be trusted" Tecna said
Roxy came to Bloom's defense though.
"But she saved us and she defended us from being attacked so she can't be a bad person" Roxy said
"That could be part of her plan" Aisha said
Flora stepped up to defend her friend too.
"There's no way that she was responsible for us being taken" Flora said
"And how can you trust her?" Tecna asked
"Because she saved me and my sister earlier and she helped us control our powers" Flora said
Stella looked over to see Bloom just standing there and walked up to her.
"Aren't you going to say something?" Stella asked
The redhead just sighed and responded.
"It doesn't matter what I say because those two wouldn't believe me" Bloom said
"Then convince them" Stella said
"Stella are you saying that you believe me to be a friend and not an enemy?" Bloom asked
"Of course I believe in you. After all you healed me when you defeated me in battle the other day. I don't know anybody who would willingly heal an enemy" Stella said
"Are you really going to believe her too?" Aisha asked
"What can I say that will make you believe that I'm not an enemy" Bloom said
"An explanation! I want to know why we have powers to begin with and I want to know your involvement in all of this" Aisha said
Bloom didn't see that as a problem at all.
"Well if that's all you wanted to know you should've asked earlier" Bloom said
Flora was shocked to learn that Bloom actually knew how they managed to get superpowers.
"Wait you know how we got powers?" Flora asked
The redhead nodded as a response and began her explanation.
"It all began with that bright light that occurred six months ago. That white light was chaos control and it was supposed to send Sonic and his friends back to their own world but what ended up happening instead was that a part of Sonic's world was teleported here instead. Anyone within the range of that chaos control got fused with chaos energy. Although the process seemed to have been slow unlike others who have gotten it. As for why you were kidnapped. Well first of all I wasn't involved in that. Dr. Eggman found you all and kidnapped you all so he could use you as temporary power sources until he could get the actual chaos emeralds" Bloom said
Tecna decided to jump in.
"Do you have in logical proof that what you said is true?" Tecna asked
"It's your decision to decide whether you should believe me or not. I don't have proof so its up to you to decide if I'm telling the trust or not" Bloom said
"Well I believe her" Flora said
"I believer her too" Stella said
"So do I" Roxy said
Bloom sensed something coming and brought up a shield in time and blocked an incoming shot from an egg pawn wielding a gun.
"Let's move on" Bloom said
Meanwhile Maria and Helen were leading the other six children to another section of the sky deck.
A boy with brown hair was talking to his friend, a boy with blond hair.
"Okay Sky, this has officially been the craziest adventure we've ever been on" The boy said
"I hear you Brandon" Sky said
"That redheaded dork is responsible for this" Riven said
"Can it Riven" A boy with dark skin and long dark hair said
"Aren't you suspicious about why we're here in the first place Nabu?" Riven asked
Another boy with dark blue hair named Helia and a boy with golden hair and glasses jumped in too.
"But why are we being chased?" Timmy asked
"I don't know why but those two girls seemed to know something" Helia said
They group made it to a safe zone.
"We should be safe for now" Helen said
"Can you give us an explanation what's going on?" Timmy asked
"Well to put it simply you got chaos powers and that's a power that Eggman wants. Bloom said that he was using you as a power source" Maria said
"So we're just power supplies to him?" Sky asked
"Well…yes" Maria said
"I knew it was that redhead's fault!" Riven said
"You're wrong!" Helen said
"How am I wrong? Its her fault that chaos powers has been spreading like a virus" Riven said
"Come now Riven, we can't make accusations like that without hearing the full story" Nabu said
"It was thanks to her that I can walk and run. I was bound to a wheelchair before and it was thanks to her that I can even walk to begin with" Helen said
Maria also came to Bloom's defense.
"It was also thanks to her that I was able to survive. She cured me of an illness that I had and helped me recover" Maria said
"If I recall isn't Bloom that emotionless girl?" Timmy asked
Brandon seemed to remember her.
"Oh yeah! Sky isn't she the one you have a crush on?" Brandon asked
"Shut up bro! Now's not the time to bring that up" Sky said
Brandon just laughed in response to his best friend's embarrassment.
"Well I don't like her at all" Riven said
"That was made very clear already" Nabu said
"Why do you hate her so much. As far as I know, she didn't really bother you at all" Helia said
"Because she's too…perfect!" Riven said
"So you're jealous of her" Brandon said
"Quiet you!" Riven said
"ENOUGH!" Maria shouted
Helen was taken by surprise because she had never heard Maria shout before.
"The point is that Bloom has a theory that the last chaos control gave you all your superpowers. She went out of her way to save you all" Maria said
"Wow She's really brave" Sky said
"See you really admire her. She's probably made her way into your heart even more" Brandon teased
"Brandon, shut up!" Sky said
"Let's get moving and meet up with her" Helen said
The gang soon met up and they came across some planes that were being sent out in the sky.
"All of you can use those to get out of here" Bloom said
"At least we have a way to get out of here" Riven said
"Come on then lets go" Sky said
Most of them were able to use those planes to escape after they got rid of the robots controlling them and they were able to escape and survive the planes crashing because of their chaos powers allowing them to survive. Although some of them were reluctant to leave because Bloom, Helen and Maria refused to leave the battleship since they still had unfinished business to take care of here on the egg carrier.
Bloom managed to come across a green emerald shard and wondered what it was and went over and picked it up and felt some power going into her and was strong too.
"What do you have there?" Maria asked
Bloom examined the emerald and realized what it was.
"This is a shard of the master emerald" Bloom said
"You mean its part of that giant emerald that we saw in the past?" Maria asked
"Right we need to find Knuckles and give this back to him" Bloom said
Maria and Helen saw two more emerald shards and picked them up too.
"There's more of them here too" Maria said
"But why were they here on the egg carrier?" Helen asked
"I don't know but let's go find Knuckles" Bloom said
Bloom was suddenly struck in the back a dark beam and it sent her flying and she landed on her side.
The two blonds gasped and ran over to see if their friend was ok.
"Bloom are you okay?" Helen asked
Bloom groaned and shook her head to make the dizziness go away.
Maria saw another beam coming transformed into a hedgehog and performed a spin attack and managed to stop the beam just in time. They looked over to see that it was Valtor who was attacking them.
"Long time no see my lovely niece" Valtor said
"Valtor" Helen said with a growl
"Who is he?" Maria asked
"That's Valtor, he's my power hungry uncle" Bloom said
"Wait! You're related?!" Maria asked in shock
"More or less" Bloom said
Maria was shocked to hear this because she could tell that his man was very cruel and heartless. This confused her because Bloom was nice and gentle soul so it was hard to believe that they could be related.
The man looked over at Maria and saw that she had changed back into her human form.
"Ah I see you have a new friend" Valtor said
"What are you doing here?" Bloom asked
"Isn't it obvious?" Valtor asked
"Chaos emeralds" Bloom said
"Yes, but when I heard that there was a master emerald that had even greater energy I tried to retrieve it but a red echidna got in my way and I was forced to flee. However when I heard that pieces of it were scattered I went out to look for them but was unable to find a single one. I don't have the ability to sense chaos energy like you do my niece and thanks to you some shards were found. Now give them to me" Valtor said
Bloom once again refused to give her uncle what he wanted.
"Sorry but that's not happening" Bloom said
"Bloom you disappointed me once before don't make the same mistake again" Valtor said
"I would be making a mistake by handing them over to you. These master emerald pieces belong to Knuckles not you. So kindly back off" Bloom said
"Hmph very well it looks like your life will be brought to an early end and your little friends will suffer the same fate because you dragged them into this mess" Valtor said
The evil man then unleashed his chaos energy and it was causing the sky deck to collapse.
"Everything's collapsing" Maria said
"We need to run now" Bloom said
The three of them started to run off the platforms that were about to fall apart but the evil uncle was catching up to them quickly and tried to blast them to smithereens with his powers but they managed to avoid his attacks.
"You can't keep running away forever" Valtor said
They managed to make to a giant cannon and saw that it was firing at them but they managed to dodge it quickly.
"What do we do now?" Maria asked in fear
Bloom went towards the cannon and grabbed it.
"Is she going to…?" Maria started
"I think so but is she strong enough to lift that humongous thing on her own?" Helen asked
That question was soon answered because the cannon was lifted up and a giant hole was left where it once stood. Valtor soon caught up to them and just in time too because Bloom threw it at him and the uncle didn't have time to react and was hit by the giant cannon.
"I didn't realize that she was that strong" Maria said
"I knew that she was strong but not that strong" Helen said
"Girls come on in here" Bloom said
The three of them jumped into the hole where the cannon was and made it down to the second floor of the sky deck.
"Where do we go now?" Helen asked
"We need to find Knuckles" Bloom said
"But is he even here?" Maria asked
"I can definitely sense his presence here and I can also sense that he has some emerald pieces with him too. Let's hurry and find him before Uncle Valtor finds him" Bloom said
The three of them followed Bloom and saw that Knuckles was actually there and yelled out to him. The red echidna looked over to see them and he was surprised to see them here.
"What are you three doing here?" Knuckles asked
"We came to find you" Helen said
"Look I'm a little busy right now" Knuckles said
The girls brought some pieces of the master emerald, much to Knuckles shock.
"Where did you find those?" Knuckles asked
"They were on the first floor we came here to give them back to you" Maria said
"Oh…uh thank you" Knuckles said
The girls gave their emerald shards Knuckles and he was grateful that they made his search for them easier.
There was a sudden explosion of energy that caught their attention and saw that Valtor had caught up to them.
"There you are" Valtor said
Knuckles recognized him.
"Hey! You're the one who tried to steal the master emerald! "Knuckles said
"Give me those shards right now!" Valtor said
"Not a chance! The master emerald doesn't belong to you" Knuckles said
"Then I'll take it by force!" Valtor said
The evil man then flew at them but Bloom managed to react first and performed a high kick that knocked him back and landed on the ground.
"Everyone go on ahead of me" Bloom said
"NO! There's no way we can let you fight him off by yourself" Helen said
"She's right let's defeat him together" Maria said
"Go help Sonic and Tails. I sense that their here on aboard and their fighting something with a lot of power here and they'll need your help" Bloom said
"But Bloom" Helen said
"Just go! Hurry!" Bloom said
The echidna spoke up first.
"Leave this to her she's got this" Knuckles said
"Are you serious?" Helen asked
"I think we can trust her to take this creep down on her own" Maria said
They moved on ahead and that's when Valtor tried to chase after them but the evil man kick in his midsection, pushing him back downwards to the ground.
"Your opponent is me" Bloom said
Valtor just laughed at this because he believed that it was ridiculous that his niece was attempting to fight him again after the first attempt didn't go so well for her.
"Are you serious? You couldn't face me last time what makes you think that you stand a chance this time?" Valtor asked in a mocking tone
"I'm stronger than last time and I'm ready for you this time" Bloom said
"Very well Bloom, its your funeral" Valtor said
The evil uncle unleashed beams of negative energy towards his niece but she dodged his attacks. She jumped towards him but she was caught off guard by his next attack.
"Chaos Blast"
A dome of red energy was released and Bloom was thrown back several feet and smashed into a cannon. She managed to recover most of her injuries instantly and dodged another oncoming attack.
Valtor unleashed a shower red bullets upon his niece but she managed to run side to side to dodge his attack.
Valtor was about to use Chaos blast again but before he could Bloom landed a powerful punch on his stomach and Valtor was launched backwards, landing on his back. He looked up to see the redhead above him with her left leg in the air and jumped away in time because a crater was created after Bloom's leg made contact with the ground.
"She can't be this strong its impossible" Valtor said
Valtor unleashed red beam of energy upon her but Bloom created a blue shield to block his attack and it was hold up against his attack. She then jumped up and performed a 90 degree kick and hit Valtor's cheek, sending him backwards several feet. Bloom decided to perform a new move that learned from watch Rouge.
"Flaming screw kick"
It was just like the screw kick and created a mini twister around herself except she added some fire into it and made it stronger and it hit Valtor's midsection with devastating force. The evil uncle was sent through several cannons and other things that were standing there.
The rubble that covered him was blasted away and he glared at her.
"THAT'S IT! I'M DONE PLAYING NICE WITH A BRAT LIKE YOU!" Valtor shouted
Valtor's anger was affecting his powers and was surrounded by negative energy. He was surrounded by a pillar of energy that he unleashed. Bloom covered her face from the intense pressure that she was feeling.
When the pressure died down she looked and was shocked to see that her Uncle's appearance had completely changed. He no longer looked like a human. He looked like a giant demonic gargoyle. His skin was entirely red and had giant red wings and a massive red tail. He also had claws oh his hands and feet. He also had sharp teeth and cyan eyes.
"What on earth is this?" Bloom asked herself
Bloom could sense that Valtor's power skyrocketed and giving off more chaos energy than before.
"Congratulations, you're the very first person that made me go this far and I've been wanting an excuse to test out this power" Valtor said
The demon unleashed a powerful red beam that Bloom managed to defend herself against but just barely.
"I already know your weakness. You have trouble lasting against someone who specializes in long range attacks. It was pure luck that you managed to defeat your sister but that luck has now run out since your now facing me in this form!" Valtor said
Valtor unleashed more power against her and she was forced to drop her shield and dodge his attacks. The strong demon flew in the air and fired off more attacks against her but she proved to still be faster than him because she was able to dodge his attacks again.
"You can't run forever! Sooner or later I will hit you with an attack" Valtor said
Several purple orbs appeared and were fired off against the redhead but she use her better speed to dodge his attacks. She ran across the battlefield and away from her demonic uncle but he chased her down.
"You can't run from me" Valtor said as he unleashed more negative spheres upon her.
She did quick steps to dodge them from side to side. Bloom moved even faster and her body was now on fire because how fast she was going and luckily it didn't hurt at all. She did a U-turn and was now charging at her Uncle with full force and the young girl was able to charge up and tackle into him before he could fire off more chaos energy. This knocked the wind out of him and launched him across the battlefield.
Valtor unleashed some powerful shots and managed to hit her but she managed to regain her balance and land on her feet. She lifted up another cannon and threw it at him and this hit him again. She jumped up and charged downwards towards her Uncle like an asteroid coming towards earth at supersonic speed. She hit her uncle with great strength with her right foot. It was a powerful axel kick and they were sent down even further to another section of the ship.
Bloom was covered in a pile of rubble but she managed to lift the rubble off of her with one big push. She looked over to see that her uncle was under another pile of rubble. She could tell that he was unconscious and that she had won this battle. She breathed a big sigh of relief and felt the ship shaking and realized that the ship was losing altitude more than likely due to all the damage it had sustained.
Bloom managed to make it back to main deck just in time to see that Chaos had a new form and that everyone was having a hard time against it but thanks to both Sonic and Knuckles they were able to defeat it.
"Sonic, Knuckles!" Bloom said
"Bloom to see that your safe" Sonic said
"What happened to that creep?" Knuckles asked
"I managed to defeat him" Bloom said
"Heh I knew you could" Knuckles said
Bloom just blushed because she was not used to being praised like that.
"We need to get out of here! This ship is going to crash" Tails said
"I'm going after Eggman" Sonic said
Tails grabbed Amy and flew off the ship just in time.
Cream was there too and went over to help Bloom.
"Hold on tight Ms. Bloom" Cream said
"Okay" Bloom said
Cream used her power of flight and lifted Bloom off the battleship. Everyone made it back to station square. Tails went over to disable the missile that Eggman unleashed upon the city and was a hero for saving the city.
Bloom was in mystic ruins and came across the tornado and saw the red chaos emerald and decided to take it before anyone else could.
She soon met up with Sonic and Knuckles again.
"You found the chaos emerald that we need. Nice work" Sonic said
"Huh? What do you mean?" Bloom asked
"Chaos is still alive and took the six chaos emeralds that I had. It also seemed to have caused Angel island to fall again despite the master emerald being whole again" Knuckles said
Bloom handed the chaos emerald over to Sonic.
"If Chaos already has six emeralds then we need to make sure that it doesn't get the last one" Bloom said
Helen and Maria soon found Bloom and were relieved that she was safe and sound. They got the explanation about chaos still being alive.
"If that thing is still alive then we need to defeat it quickly" Helen said
Maria was still very scared of this creature but she tried to be brave.
"But where can we find him?" Maria said
A huge pillar water soon appeared and Chaos 6 was in front of them.
"Looks like he found us instead" Sonic said
Chaos unleashed water like appendages upon them and they heroes dodged its attack. It opened its mouth and released a huge blast of water on them. They were all hit by it and slammed against a rock wall.
The water creature noticed that the redhead seemed to be tired and she was thanks to her battle with Valtor. It caught her with a watery appendage and it wrapped it around her neck and squeezed tight.
"Bloom no!" Helen said
"Let her go!" Sonic said with anger
Bloom couldn't breathe properly and tried to force the water appendage to let go but she couldn't do it because she was being suffocated and she couldn't use her strength properly.
It brought the redhead front of it like a shield. The heroes noticed that it was no longer attacking them for some reason.
"It's not attacking anymore?" Helen asked
"But why?" Maria asked
Knuckles figured out why instantly.
"It wants the Chaos emerald you have Sonic" Knuckles said
Sonic looked at Chaos and then looked at Bloom was gasping for air.
"Alright Chaos I'll give you the emerald if you let her go" Sonic said
Knuckles tried to object this idea right away.
"Don't do it Sonic! If he gets that last emerald then the world is doomed" Knuckles said
"Heh…sorry Knuckles but my friend is more important to me than a chaos emerald" Sonic said
"Don't…do…it…Sonic" Bloom gasped out
Sonic walked over to Chaos and tossed the emerald to its feet. The water beast let go of the young girl, grabbed the emerald and disappeared.
Bloom coughed and gasped for air and Sonic ran over to see if she was ok.
"Are you okay?" Sonic asked
Bloom just nodded.
"Why did you give him that emerald?" Bloom asked
"Because you were in danger and your more important to me than a chaos emerald" Sonic said
Bloom looked down in shame because she had forced Sonic to give up the last emerald so her life would be spared.
"I'm so sorry Sonic, its my fault that this is happening" Bloom said
"Don't worry about it. We defeated that beast before and we can do it again" Sonic said
"But where will it appear next?" Maria asked
"Let's go back to station square and try to come up with a strategy to find it" Helen said
The group were about to go back but a glowing orb appeared in front of them and shined brightly in their eyes forcing them to cover their eyes. When the light died down they looked to see that they were in front of the shrine of the master emerald again with the female echidna again. Except the shrine and everything around it was on fire.
"This again?" Knuckles asked
"You know something about this Knuckles?" Sonic asked
"This is the Echidna tribe from the past. They were an ancient civilization 5000 years ago. I'm the last remaining member of this tribe" Knuckles said
"So Bloom's theory about them being an ancient civilization was true" Helen said
"I somewhat remember reading about an ancient civilization based on a god of an ancient culture before and I think this is what I remembered" Maria said
There were a group of Echidnas in front of the shrine but they were being halted by the female Echidna, Tikal. The leader of the tribe, Pachacamac, was telling her to get out of his way.
"Get out of my way!" Pachacamac said
"No way!" Tikal responded
"Did you hear what I say?" Tikal replied back
"We need those seven emeralds to give us total power. Its power for the people and they're your people too you know. We must get that emerald" Pachamac said
Tikal only had this to say in response.
"Greed is our enemy, once it starts you will always want more. Please don't do this I beg you!" Tikal said
"Bah! I don't need to listen the words of a child! Ready men?! Charge!" Pachamac said
The soldiers charged right through Tikal and the chao.
"How terrible!" Maria said
"We need to do something" Helen said
"Don't waste your energy. These are events that had already happened" Knuckles said
"Knuckles is right. We're only viewing the past" Bloom said
The soldiers then ran into Chaos and called it a monster and in response to that the water monster consumed all seven emeralds and completely overwhelmed the knuckles tribe.
They then saw that Tikal sealed Chaos in the master emerald along with herself and thus peace was restored to the world.
Light enveloped the land again and everyone was back in the present. Everyone reflected on what they had just seen.
"What happened in there? All I saw was war" Maria said
"That must've been the moment that most of my tribe were wiped out" Knuckles said
"So this isn't the first time that Chaos caused destruction" Sonic said
"I sensed anger in Chaos. It was angry over its shrine being damaged and having its friends trampled over. It was completely consumed by rage and hatred. It's still allowing anger to control it even after being sealed inside for such a long time" Bloom said
"Then all we need to do is to seal it back in the master emerald again" Knuckles said
"That won't work because if chaos breaks out again then the same thing will happen all over again" Sonic said
"You got any better ideas, wise guy?" Knuckles asked
"Now's not the time to be fighting with each other" Bloom said trying to break them up
The group were about to leave but Tails showed up with the X tornado and landed it in front of them.
"Tails what's up?" Sonic asked
"Station square's been flooded" Tails said
"WHAT?!" Everyone asked in shock
"A giant water beast showed and started to destroy everything in its path" Tails said
"That monster must be trying to destroy the city" Knuckles said
Everyone hopped into the plane and flew back to the city and saw that it was completely flooded and saw the giant sea monster destroying everything in its path.
"I've had enough of your little temper tantrums, Chaos" Sonic said before diving down towards it.
The blue hedgehog tried to use a homing attack on its brain, but the monster used its tentacle to block his attack. Sonic tried again but Chaos surrounded itself with a forcefield to block his attack again and tried to hit the hedgehog with its tentacles, but Sonic was able to jump over them and slide under them to avoid the attacks and found a broken board that he could use as a surfboard.
Tails flew down and Sonic was able to jump on the wing of the tornado. Chaos started to shoot some water at them but thanks to his great piloting skills Tails was able to maneuver out of the way.
The water beast then unleashed a shower of pink beams and Bloom decided to help out and produced a shield to block his attacks and the shields managed to stay whole despite the power that Perfect Chaos has now.
The giant beast then unleashed several orange beams of light at them and the shield barely held up and the beast unleashed several water tornadoes at them and the plane got up in it and everyone was sent flying away while spinning. Luckily they landed on a platform that wasn't flooded. Everyone groaned from the wild ride they just experienced.
"I-is everyone okay?" Tails asked
Everyone was dizzy but other than that everyone seemed to be ok.
"Now what do we do? That monster is too strong!" Maria asked with no hope
"Don't give up yet. There has to be a way to stop it" Sonic said
Eggman showed up with his Egg carrier 2 but it was no match for Chaos and got destroyed in one blast.
The same light from before appeared before them again but this time the light took on shape and everyone that saw the past knew who it was.
"It's you the one who sealed Chaos into the Master Emerald, Tikal" Sonic said
The female echidna appeared in the flesh.
"Chaos was once chao but was changed due to the amount of chaos energy it absorbed and it soon became an immortal being and dedicated its life to protecting its home. It protected the chao and the emeralds from all dangers" Tikal said
"So Chaos was once a Chao? That's surprising" Bloom said
"Ever since my father invaded the shrine and attacked everything Chaos has only known hate and anger. Now it wants revenge on the world" Tikal said
Bloom sensed something from Chaos and looked to see that spat out the emeralds, draining them of their power.
"Chaos has now absorbed all the negative energy of the chaos emeralds we need to seal it into the master emerald now before its too late" Tikal said
"That won't work" Sonic said
"Huh? Why?" Tikal asked
"If we seal it back in the master emerald then the same thing just going to happen over and over again. We need to find a way to stop for Chaos for good this time" Sonic said
"But what choice do we have? There's not much else that we can do" Tikal said
Sonic's other friends soon found the emeralds lying around and everyone came to him with he emeralds.
"Mr. Sonic look What I found for you" Cream said
Cream was holding the yellow emerald.
Amy soon appeared and was holding the red chaos emerald.
"Here Sonic take this" Amy said
Tails came to Sonic holding the cyan emerald, while Knuckles was holding the dark blue emerald.
Maria was holding the purple emerald, Helen was holding the green emerald and Bloom was holding the white emerald.
Eggman was also there and was the one handed Knuckles the emerald that he was currently holding.
"Why are you all giving the emeralds to him? They don't have any power left" Tikal said
Bloom smiled and informed Tikal about the true power of the emeralds.
"If I remember correctly you said that he only absorbed the negative power of the emeralds. Sonic can use the positive power the chaos emeralds and use them to their fullest potential" Bloom said
Everyone started to cheer for Sonic to defeat the monstrous Chaos.
The emeralds started to glow and got their power back.
"The emeralds are getting their power back.
With all seven emeralds together they circled around Sonic and the blue hedgehog's body went from blue to gold.
Tikal was shocked to see this.
"But I thought the power of the emeralds could only be awakened by hate and anger" Tikal said
"There are other feelings that are even more powerful" Knuckles said
"When everyone gave their chaos emeralds to Sonic it was because of our friendship. Caring is stronger than hate and that's how Sonic is going to beat Chaos" Tails said
Sonic rose up in the air and charged at the water beast and Chaos noticed Sonic coming towards him at full speed.
Chaos produced a shield to block it but Super Sonic was able to break it with ease. Chaos then summoned several water twisters and threw them at the shining hedgehog but Sonic performed a spin dash and the dissolved the twisters instantly.
Chaos then unleashed a powerful white beam from its mouth but the golden hedgehog dodged it but the white beam was headed towards his friends but Sonic sped back and got in front of the beam.
"Sonic hang in there" Bloom said
Super Sonic was perfectly fine and stopped the beam with ease.
"You can't stop me!" Sonic said
Everyone cheered for the hedgehog and Chaos tried to smack the hedgehog with one of its watery tentacles but Sonic stopped it with both hands with ease and dissolved the limb with ease.
"Is that the best you can do?" Sonic asked with a smirk
Super Sonic then charged into Chaos again and the water beast unleashed another white beam but Sonic charged right through the beam and went straight into Chaos' mouth and the water beast started to glow and then exploded in a dust of light.
"He did it!" Bloom cheered
"Way to go Sonic" Maria said
Sonic then went back to his normal form. Chaos soon appeared again in his 0 state.
"Chaos survived" Tails said
"Quick lets finish it off" Helen said
"Wait" Bloom said
"Huh?" Helen asked in confusion
A bunch of Chao soon appeared and even Cheese appeared before it and Chaos looked like it was at peace.
"Chaos doesn't look angry anymore" Knuckles said
"Sonic must have neutralized all of the negative chaos energy and anger that it was feeling and Chaos is now his old self again" Bloom said
Bloom then suddenly had the urge to make a quote about the event.
"When the servers acts as positives then the negatives will be erased. That is when the beast will be calmed" Bloom quoted
Maria and Helen sweat dropped when they heard Bloom's sudden quote.
"Um Bloom what was that?" Maria asked
The redhead blushed and looked embarrassed.
"I-I'm sorry. I couldn't stop myself from making a quote" Bloom said
"I think it was cute" Helen said
Tikal and Chaos soon rose up in the air and disappeared. Everyone then started to get to work on restoring the city.
A few days later Eggman was starting to relax for a bit and was playing an online game that this world had and came to conclusion on how to defeat his enemies.
"That's it! I've got it I know how to defeat them once and for all!" Eggman said
"You've done nothing play these game for the past couple of days" Bocoe said
"Was there really a plan involved in this?" Decoe asked
"Quiet bolt brains! I know what I'm doing!" Eggman said
Bloom was hanging out with her friends again and this time they were having a picnic to celebrate Sonic defeating Chaos.
Bloom insisted on making the picnic food herself and had the results. She made Sonic some chili dogs since she heard that those were his favorite food.
Everyone was enjoying themselves but they were interrupted by a familiar laughter, the laughter of Eggman.
"How rude. You're all having a picnic and didn't even invite me" Eggman said
"That's because you weren't invited" Amy said
"You would just ruin the whole thing" Cream said
"Well then how about we play a little game? "Eggman asked
"What game?" Sonic asked
"You'll find out!" Eggman said
Eggman shot a beam from his egg mobile and caught everyone in it. Everyone soon disappeared.
Sonic soon woke up and got to his feet and looked around and saw that he was in a forest.
"Where am I?" Sonic asked
Sonic ran through the forest and saw that there was a goblin like creature and it tried to smash him with his club but he dodged it and performed a homing attack to knock it out.
Sonic looked around some more and heard someone shouting out names and one of those names were his and ran off to see who it was.
The blue hedgehog came across who it was and it was Maria. The blonde girl was wearing something different. Maria was wearing a white robe and a transparent hood on her head. She also had brown sandals on her feet.
"Maria!" Sonic called out
Maria looked over to see the blue hedgehog and saw that he was wearing some brown leather gloves and some chainmail on his arms.
They both looked at each other because they were confused about the outfits they were wearing.
"Sonic is that you?" Maria asked
"You bet its me" Sonic said
The two of them tried to remember what had happened.
"What happened?" Maria asked
"The last thing I remember was that we were having a picnic and Eggman showed up and zapped us with some sort of beam" Sonic said
"But where are we?" Maria asked
"I don't know but I think we should prioritize find the rest of our friends" Sonic said
"Yes you're right" Maria said
With two of them together they journeyed off to find the rest of their friends.
Tails woke up and saw that he was some sort of workshop and saw his reflection in a mirror and saw that he was wearing brown leather gloves and had some goggles on his head.
"Ugh where am I?" Tails asked
He looked around and saw that there were several citizens walking around and saw that his shop had several weapons lying around. He had spears, swords, etc. He decided to investigate where he was.
Helen groaned and woke up. She looked around to see that she was in a bed chamber.
"Where am I?" Helen said
Helen looked down and saw that she was wearing some sort of maid outfit.
"What am I wearing?" Helen asked
Someone entered the room and she saw that it was another maid.
"Helen, what are you doing? You need to hurry up and get to work" The maid said
Helen was even more confused because she doesn't recall ever getting a job in the first place.
"Ah okay be right there" Helen said
Meanwhile Bloom woke up in a master bedroom and shook her head.
"What happened? I remember Eggman blasting us with something" Bloom said
Bloom got up and went over to her mirror and saw that she was wearing a blue gown with white gloves on. She also had a blue necklace around her neck. She had blue heels on and her long red hair was now curly and flowing down her back. She was wearing a gold crown on her head.
"What am I wearing?" Bloom asked
Bloom exited the room to explore but she was confronted by a maid.
"There you are princess its time to start your royal duties" A maid said
"Princess?" Bloom asked
"Come now princess. You must have your breakfast and then get started" The maid said
Bloom was escorted to the dining room and saw Helen wearing a maid outfit.
"Bloom!" Helen said
The head maid scolded her about her poor manners.
"You are to refer her as the princess and nothing else! Calling her by her first name is very disrespectful!" The head maid said
"Its okay, she's not in trouble" Bloom said
"You are too kind" Head maid said
Two other people entered and Bloom saw that it was Amy and Cream.
Cream was wearing a gown similar to Bloom's except she was wearing a pink one and didn't have a crown on her head. Meanwhile Amy was wearing what Bloom could describe as knight armor. She wasn't wearing a helmet and that made it easier for the redhead to identify her.
"Miss Bloom" Cream said
"Glad to see that your safe" Amy said
Everyone sat down to eat and everyone tried to remember the events and recalled that Eggman had zapped them with a beam.
"Whatever Eggman did I'll make sure to smack him good this time" Amy said
"But we don't know where we are of if Eggman is even in this place" Cream said
After breakfast Bloom told everyone to just play along with the events since it would more than likely help them learn about wherever they are. They all agreed.
"Remember to not stay outside of the castle for too long because the threat of the demon king is still at large" The head maid said
"U-um t-thank you" Bloom said
The three girls were now in the village and the citizens seemed to be bowing towards her in respect.
"This is weird" Amy said
"Where did Eggman send us?" Cream asked
They soon found themselves in front of a blacksmith's shop and saw a very familiar face.
"Tails!" Cream said
The yellow fox saw his friends and smiled in relief.
"I'm glad you're all safe" Tails said
"I'm glad to see that your safe too" Bloom said
Helen put the pieces together and told everyone what her hypothesis was.
"Hold on, I'm a maid, Bloom's a princess, Cream's a royal advisor, Amy's a knight and Tails is a blacksmith" Helen said
"We already know that, Helen" Amy said
"I think Eggman sent us into a video game" Helen said
"A video game?" Bloom asked
"Right, this is a basic RPG game. Its your over all basic RPG game. You play as the hero and rescue the princess from the demon king" Helen said
"So I'm going to be kidnapped?" Bloom asked
"I should've been the princess and Sonic should've been the knight. I get kidnapped and my handsome knight in shining armor would risk his life and journey all across the land to rescue me and we would get married in the end" Amy said
The others sweat dropped as Amy fantasized being rescued by Sonic.
"Maria and Sonic are the only ones missing" Helen said
The rest of the group went outside the town's gate and looked around for Sonic and Maria. They saw them exiting the forest and Amy was the first one to run up to the hedgehog and hugged him.
"There you are my knight and shining armor" Amy said
"Amy let me go!" Sonic said
"No way I'm holding tight to my hero" Amy said
Helen looked at them and knew what their titles were.
"Sonic has to be hero of this story" Helen said
"And what's Maria?" Bloom asked
"Maria has to be the wizard type character" Helen said
"Wizard? Me?" Maria asked
There was a group of goblins that appeared and roared at them.
"Incoming" Sonic said
Amy brought her hammer and slammed several goblins and sent them flying. Sonic did a homing attack and hit several monsters at once. Maria managed to make some wind to blow them back. The monsters soon ran away from them and went back to the forest where they came from.
"That was weird" Tails said
"The events on this story are about to unfold" Helen said
"I never really took you as a gamer Helen" Bloom said
"Well I got into it when I was still in a wheelchair and there really wasn't much else for me to do" Helen said
"Makes sense" Amy said
Everyone was back at the castle and Bloom was called to the dungeon because a prisoner has woken up and saw that it was a familiar face.
She was wearing a black outfit that was a two piece and it was a white bat.
"Rouge?" Bloom asked
Rouge looked over to see that it was the rich kid that she had met once.
"Well nice to see you again redhead" Rouge said
"What are you doing here?" Bloom asked
"I was zapped by Eggman's machine and when I woke up I was inside this prison cell" Rouge said
"So Eggman trapped you here too" Bloom said
"He caught me by surprise that's all. By the way nice outfit I wouldn't taking those jewels off your hands" Rouge said
"I'm guessing your character title is thief" Bloom said
Rouge pouted in response to that.
"Thief? That was rather rude" Rouge said
Bloom explained to Rouge about where they were.
"So we're stuck inside a video game? How do we get out?" Rouge asked
"I'm afraid that's the only part we don't know" Bloom said
"Well since you're here would you mind unlocking this cell?" Rouge asked
"Well Rouge, I would but in return you have to work with us in order to escape" Bloom said
"Is that's all it takes then I'll gladly accept. I'm a woman of my word after all" Rouge said
Bloom doubted about Rouge being a woman of her word but she unlocked the cell and the bat stepped out of it and stretched.
"Its nice to finally be out of that stuffy cell" Rouge said
Bloom went to another cell and saw another familiar face and saw that it was Knuckles and it looked like he was wearing some sort of assassin outfit. She came to the conclusion that Knuckles was an assassin type of character in this game.
Knuckles woke up and saw Bloom standing in front of him. He noticed that she was wearing a fancy dress.
"Bloom? Is that you?" Knuckles asked
Bloom nodded and unlocked the cell door and allowed Knuckles to step out of the cell.
"What happened to you Knuckles?" Bloom asked
"I was guarding the master emerald and Eggman showed up. He zapped me with some sort of beam and I woke up in this cell with you standing in front of me" Knuckles said
Everyone soon had a get together in Bloom's room.
"Forget it, I'm not working with a thieving bat like you" Knuckles said
"Oh come on honey, you know you love me" Rouge said
Knuckles went red in the face and got angry at the white bat.
"SHUT UP! I DON'T LIKE YOU!" Knuckles yelled
"It's not polite to yell at a lady" Rouge said
Knuckles growled and Bloom decided to break them up.
"You two can settle this later right now we need to find a way to escape this video game world" Bloom said
"Well the only thing I can think of that will allow us to escape is by completing the game" Helen said
"How do games like these usually end?" Sonic asked
"The game usually ends after defeating the final boss, the demon king" Helen said
"That shouldn't be too hard" Sonic said
"Speak for yourself Sonic, I was given the role of a blacksmith I'm more of a mechanic with technology not a blacksmith" Tails said
"It shouldn't be too hard. We still have our usual abilities so aside from the costume change we can beat this game with ease" Sonic said
The group decided to look for a map and found it at a guild that this city had and knew where to find this demon king.
"Time to travel to this demon castle place" Sonic said
"You're sounding a little too excited about this" Rouge said
"Well Sonic does like danger and excitement so it shouldn't be a surprise" Tails said
The group traveled to the castle and saw that it was emitting a dark aura.
"This place is scary" Cream said
Cheese agreed that this place was scary.
"This is nothing, come on" Sonic said
The heroes entered the castle and saw made it to the throne room.
They saw the demon king looked like Eggman but had red horns on his bald head and was wearing a black jacket.
"Mortals in my throne room? I'll feed you to my beasts for this" Eggman said
"Eggman?" Sonic asked
"How dare you! I am the demon king!" Eggman said
"Looks like Eggman didn't put himself in here" Knuckles said
Sonic rushed in and did a spin dash but the demon had shield around himself, blocking Sonic's attack.
"Shields are nothing!" Knuckles said as he charged in
Knuckles punched the barrier with rapid strikes. Rouge tagged in and hit the barrier with a barrage of kicks. Amy jumped in as well and bashed against the barrier with her hammer.
The demonic Eggman just laughed at their futile attempt to fight him.
"This is the best you've got? You disappoint me!" Eggman said
The demon king expanded his shield and knocked the heroes back.
"He's a lot tougher than he looks" Sonic said
Helen performed a lightning blast but it was repelled by the barrier .
"What do we do?" Maria asked
"Keep attacking him" Bloom said
"Honey that sounds like a strategy that Knuckles would come up with" Rouge said
"Shut it Rouge!" Knuckles said
"Please trust me" Bloom said
"Alright lets give this another go" Sonic said
Demon Eggman's shield held up against their attacks.
"Maria help them out" Bloom said
Maria nodded and changed into a hedgehog and performed a spin dash along with Sonic. Helen was instructed to keep using her lightning blasts.
"Its no use, give up!" Eggman said
"Tails, Cream and Cheese, I'll need your help too" Bloom said
She instructed her remaining friends to lift her up high over Eggman and told them to throw her down as hard they could. They refused at first because they saw this as reckless but Bloom asked them to trust her and they eventually complied and threw the redheaded girl down towards the barrier.
Bloom balled up her right hand and punched the demon's barrier. Cream, cheese and Tails grabbed onto each other and spun around until they looked like a spinning drill and attacked the barrier too. The overwhelming force was too much for Demon Eggman's barrier and it broke down.
"You little pests!" Eggman yelled
The demon then got a beat down from all of the heroes and was defeated a couple of moment later.
"We did it!" Cream said
The entire world lit up and everyone was now back in the real world. They were back at the picnic area. Everyone's clothing was also back to normal.
"We're back in the real world" Amy said
"Its about time" Sonic said
Bloom looked over to see that her mansion was being invaded by Egg pawns.
"My home" Bloom said
"Let's finish this once and for all" Sonic said
Eggman was inside the mansion and smiled at the results.
"This mansion would make an excellent new base. I'll need to make few modifications but that shouldn't be a problem" Eggman said
A black car showed up outside the mansion and a man with brown hair stepped out of the car and saw the destruction. He ran towards his house to see what was going on.
"My new base will be even better than my last one" Eggman said
A blue blur appeared and destroyed them in seconds.
"What?!" Eggman asked in shock
A red blur soon appeared and punched the robots apart. A mini twister soon appeared and tore the robots apart.
Bloom appeared and smashed several of them.
Eggman saw that the people he sent into the video game had escaped and was shocked that they had managed to get out.
"How did you all get out?!" Eggman asked
"We beat the game of course" Sonic said
Bloom jumped up and performed one roundhouse kick.
"Get out of my house" Bloom said
The kick sent Eggman through the roof, into the sky and out of sight. Everyone heard that Eggman would be back though.
Knuckles and Rouge left the mansion to go back to their usual jobs.
They heard footsteps enter and everyone turned around to see that it was a man with brown hair.
"Dad" Bloom said
Bloom's father, Oritel, had showed for a surprise visit but he got worried about his daughter after he saw that his mansion was being attacked.
"I'm glad your safe, Bloom" Oritel said
Bloom bowed politely towards her father and he just responded by hugging her.
"You aren't hurt are you?" Oritel asked
"I'm fine" Bloom said
Oritel sighed with relief.
"I'm glad" Oritel said
Sonic and the others once again saw this interaction and found it weird because they assumed Oritel would be the abusive type of father but clearly that wasn't the case.
"By the way have you seen your uncle? I've been trying to get in contact with him lately but I haven't been getting a response" Oritel said
Bloom knew she couldn't flat out say that he was gone because even she wasn't sure if he was truly gone or not.
"Uncle had to go away for a bit and I'm guessing he's been too busy" Bloom said
"I see well I sure wish he could find at least a little time to be with me. That older brother of mine was always busy" Oritel said
"I'm sure he'll respond to you soon" Bloom said
After some house repairs Oritel had to leave again and bid his daughter fair well. The others soon went back to their daily activities too.
