CHAPTER 4:
On the morning of the 16th, Flo and Unicycle had just boarded their plane from Providence to London. Debbie, Nigel, and Eliza boarded their plane from JFK to London hours later. After a long flight, Flo and Unicycle landed at Heathrow Airport around 5 p.m. GMT. Debbie, Nigel, and Eliza landed about three hours later. Not long after the newly married couple checked into their hotel, Flo's phone rang. She saw on the caller ID that it was Debbie, and she answered.
"Hey, Debbie, what's up?" Flo asked.
"Not much, Flo. We just landed a few hours ago, and needless to say, it feels great to be back again. Eliza is very eager to catch up with her old friends. So, tomorrow we'll be going to one of her friends' houses," Debbie said.
"How wonderful!" Flo exclaimed.
"So, what do you two have planned for tomorrow?" Debbie asked.
"Well, we looked up some possible places to visit here in London, and we were planning to go check them out," Flo explained.
"Well, tomorrow morning, we'll meet the two of you for a full English breakfast here at the hotel, and you can tell us some of the places you plan to see," Debbie suggested.
"Sounds like a plan. Later," Flo said, hanging up.
The next morning, Flo and Unicycle helped themselves to a full English breakfast at their hotel.
"Whoever would've thought that breakfast choices here in London are almost equivalent to ones in America?" Flo said, grabbing a clean plate.
"I know, right? Though I do question why baked beans and black pudding are options. I've never had baked beans or black pudding for breakfast before," Unicycle remarked, also grabbing a clean plate.
Each of them grabbed some bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage, and toast for their plates before they sat down to eat.
"Hey, guys," Debbie said, greeting the couple.
"Debbie, Eliza, nice to see you," Flo said, greeting them.
"Likewise. Nigel will meet us in a little bit. We figured we'd spend the week showing you around some popular places here in the city for the first few hours of each day, then we're going to catch up with some friends of ours from here," Debbie said.
"Sounds like a plan. Flo and I looked up some good tourist spots online, and we made a list," Unicycle said.
"Oh, can we see?" Debbie asked.
"Sure," Flo said as she took out a piece of paper citing all the sites she and Unicycle had agreed on.
The list included the British Museum, Tower of London, Big Ben, London Eye, Buckingham Palace, and the Tower Bridge.
