NO. 8 EVERYTHING HURTS AND I'M DYING

Today's prompt was Stomach Pain Head Trauma Back from the Dead-

So I went with Stomach pain:

Five has appendicitis. That's pretty much it..

To say he felt sick was an absolute understatement. He felt like something was stabbing into him with every step he took, and he knew what that actually felt like.

The pain just resonated from his belly button down and to the left side.

And he felt sick.

What did I eat? He tried to think through that morning and yesterday's meals.

Coffee and toast this morning, which was his usual.

Yesterday..

The same for breakfast…

No lunch, besides and apple… and…

He frowned. He didn't eat anything for dinner. His stomach was hurting yesterday, just not this bad.

Figuring he may need to try to eat, he pushed down the distraction of pain and blinked to the kitchen.

In the moment, when he was in the "between", he felt perfectly fine. Outside of time, there was no stress on his body.

But the he landed in the kitchen and felt a shock wave of pain. So hard he cried out and dropped to his knees.

"Five!"

"What's wrong?"

He heard the voices of his siblings around him, but they sounded garbled.

He feels the sensation swelling up from his belly into his throat. Before he could protest his was emptying the contents of his stomach, which there wasn't much of, onto the floor.

"Hey, Fivey… are you sick?" He felt a hand rubbing his back. It hurt to be touched though.

"You look incredibly pale."

"He looks grey," came another deep voice. "Five. What's wrong."

Five wanted to just give up. The pain was now radiating to his back, by his kidneys. He rolled over, wincing and bringing his hands to press against the pain. He hoped that would relieve it a bit, but it only gave him another aching shock wave.

He felt cool hands against his skin and whimpered at the touch. It seemed to search him for an injury, when suddenly he heard a gentle voice say, "what if it's his appendix?"

"Fever, pain…" someone else was putting the pieces together.

"We need to get him to a hospital," someone else declared. "We don't have the tools for this here."

Suddenly he was being lifted up and enveloped by darkness.

Five felt groggy as the sound of beeps and busied voices over speakers stirred him from his sleep. He felt tired, and a little sore in his lower abdomen, but the excruciating pain was gone.

"He's waking up," He heard Klaus call.

There were a few footsteps coming closer as he opened his eyes. Klaus, Alison and Diego.

"Hey…" Allison said softly to him. "How are you feeling?"

"Parched," he replied.

Klaus grabbed the cup on the tray next to him, and put in a straw, holding it out for Five to drink from.

"Years in the apocalypse… thankfully my appendix waited to burst," he said simply. "I wouldn't have survived otherwise."

Allison looked at Diego and back at her little brother. "You scared us," she said firmly. "Diego and I thought it was a repeat of the attic incident."

"I'm sorry," he told her honestly. "It came on so quick."

"We are just glad you are ok," Diego told him.

"Luther and Viktor went to grab food. Rest up. As long as everything seems alright we can bring you home tomorrow."

Five nodded and gave a little smile.

"Thanks."

This might be the shortest one, and I'm sorry for that. I really wanted to get this out today and it was a BUSY day
