Description:
Hot Dog comes from Skylands, and was previously a denizen of the Popcorn Volcano, a bizarre volcano that erupted to launch lava balls like popcorn. During a mission to take care of some renegade Lava Kings, a party of Skylanders, among them the Gillman Gill Grunt, were sent to the Popcorn Volcano to take care of them, but at the moment that Gill Grunt set up his tent and began to sleep, the Popcorn Volcano erupted, and Hot Dog was sent flying out, landing on Gill Grunt's tent and burning it in the process. Feeling guilty for his actions, Hot Dog offered to help finish the mission with them. Using his sense of smell, he was able to track them down and helped them locate the lava monster gang, and when one nearly ended up roasting Gill Grunt into fish sticks, he bravely slammed into it like a blazing comet, earning the Gillman's respect and leading him to become a Skylander, working to stop the forces of evil several times. While missing his old home, Hot Dog is simply happy to have some old friends with him and make new ones as well, wishing to fight alongside them in the name of protecting the innocent.
Hot Dog may not be too smart, but what he lacks in wisdom and experience, he makes up for in loyalty and earnestness. His friends will find someone who cares very deeply for them, and will do anything to ensure that they're safe from harm, even if it means putting himself in danger. He is also a ball of sunshine, being an absolute sweetheart for his friends, and taking any moment to be close with them, whether it be fighting alongside them or simply snuggling with them like the puppy he is. Even if he is mischievous at times, he means well ultimately, and truly wants to help others. As such, he gets along incredibly well with Fire Man, with the incinerator Robot Master taking in the little tyke as something of a little brother figure. That being said, due to being a Fire Dog, he hated water immensely, and that hatred, despite being waterproof, has not abated.
As a former Skylander of the Fire Element, Hot Dog is a true pint-sized powerhouse. A flamethrower is put within his mouth, allowing him to release small fireballs, and these fireballs, nicknamed Fire Barks, are capable of burning through most materials. He is also incredibly agile and speedy, having great ability to weave around obstacles. Across his body are numerous vents that allow him to unleash the "Pyro Pinwheel Comet", an attack where he jumps into the air while unleashing a bevy of fireballs all around him before slamming on the ground to create a massive explosion. As such, Hot Dog is one who fights with a combination of speed and power, though he isn't the physically strongest and is amongst the most frail of the bunch.
Special Weapon: Magmutt Minion
Once fired, this drone covers itself in flames that take the shape of Hot Dog's head. While these drones are released, Hot Dog is able to have them unleash similar fire barks to his own alongside him, allowing him to torch multiple foes simultaneously or concentrate their fire to melt them down. He is able to summon up to three drones, and he can control them remotely, giving him the ability to send them out in various formations.
When used by Mega Man or Roller Brawl, a single Magmutt Minion is summoned to their side and encircles them. While out, they are able to switch to other weapons and use them alongside the drone's fire barks, and by charging a weapon, they can send the drone to rocket forwards and create a massive explosion. However, as can be imagined, these drones are useless underwater and unable to release fire barks, only being able to be sent out as a weakened explosive.

Author's Note
So yeah, the first of the five is out of the way. If you're curious, I based the Magmutt Minion on a combination of Flame Stag's Speed Burner and Commander Yammark's Yammar Option. In terms of Skylanders inspiration, they're based on the Magmutt Batallion upgrade on Hot Dog's Pyro Pooch path which focused on his Wall of Fire abilities, so that lent itself well enough to a more defensive option than you might expect from a Fire Skylander.
These next few chapters aren't to say I won't be working on Chapter 11, but I figured that since I did it for Roller Brawl, I should be consistent and keep it up with the rest of them.
