The next night
Wanda sighed and sat down on a bench.
Johnny sat down next to her and whimpered, "You okay? You've been acting strange for a few nights."
"I'm fine Johnathan," grumbled Wanda.
"Do you want to walk around the party room? Drac won't mind."
"I guess."
Johnny and Wanda walked into the party room as Johnny turned the lights on.
"This reminds me, any birthdays or events comin' up soon?" asked Johnny. Wanda stood at door strangely. "Wanda?"
"SHE LIKES IT DARK!" yelled Wanda with a deep voice. Her hair went up, blood drained from her mouth, and her eyes turned bright red as Johnny yelped.
"WANDA?! WHAT'S GOING ON?!"
Wanda went back to normal and yelled, "I DIDN'T MEAN TO SAY THAT JOHNATHAN!"
Wanda's eyes turned red again and she saw light traveling through a red tunnel.
"WANDA? WANDA?!" screamed Johnny. He grabbed Wanda's paw and ran out of the party room to the elevators. Johnny ran into an elevator and pushed the fifth floor button repeatedly. "Come on, this is urgent!"
Wayne sipped on coffee and read the Transylvanian newspaper, until Johnny bursted in with Wanda.
"What the hell?!" yelped Wayne, looking at Wanda.
"She's having another episode!" whimpered Johnny.
"WANDA! CAN YOU HEAR ME?!"
Wanda's eyes went back to normal as she breathed heavily.
"Take me to Winda and Wenda's apartment," shivered Wanda.
Meanwhile...
The monsters wore red cloaks as Vlad placed candles around a circle.
"Are you sure this is gonna work Vlad?" whimpered Mumette, putting her arm behind her back. "It feels a little ... dumb?"
"It'll work if we do it correctly. I heard this specific ritual sent a vampire to the World of Darkness, and he never came back," said Vlad. He looked at Eunice and pointed at the circle. "Eunice, go in the middle. A monster needs to be inside the circle."
"I don't wanna make history by being the next person to go into the World of Darkness and never come back," whimpered Eunice.
"Everyone else except Ericka sit down and hold hands then close your eyes for 15 seconds," stated Vlad. Everyone sat down, held hands, and closed their eyes. "Ericka, place the red dust and candles around the circle. "
Ericka poured dust and placed candles gently on the circle as the monsters practiced the ritual.
"It's been 15 seconds, y'all can open your eyes now," said Ericka.
The monsters opened their eyes, but saw nothing happen.
"Ugh! Nothing happened," grumbled Dracula.
Mavis felt the ground moving and saw little red and black cracks.
"AUNT EUNICE! GET AWAY FROM THAT CIRCLE! NOW!" screamed Mavis. "A PORTAL IS OPENING!"
"The ritual didn't work Mavis," said Frank.
Crystal saw cracks forming in the circle.
"Frank, I think Mavis is right about Eunice moving!" cried Crystal, pointing at the circle.
Eunice looked down and squealed. She jumped out of the circle onto Mumette.
"Why do I have to be here every time you're in trouble?" asked Mumette to herself angrily.
The cracks formed into a dark red and black whirlpool as the monsters looked back. Murray tried jumping inside, but Vlad stopped him.
"We can't just jump inside, we don't even have a plan," whimpered Vlad.
Dracula walked in front of the monsters.
"All right. Here's the plan. Murray, Mavis, and I will stay here and see if we can distract the Mind Controller. Mumette and Vlad will stay here and help Wanda's family get the Mind Controller out of Wanda's body, and the others will go to the World of Darkness to kill the Mind Controller," explained Dracula. The monsters looked at each other. "Do you guys know anybody else who would like to volunteer?"
Winnie and Dennis ran down the stairs, looking eager.
"We'd like too!" yipped Winnie and Dennis in unison:
"This kind of stuff isn't for kids," grumbled Eunice.
"We took out bat cronies all together!" growled Winnie.
"Yeah, just because we're kids doesn't mean we can't participate in battles!" exclaimed Dennis, crossing his arms.
"We could use an extra werewolf and vampire for this mission," said Griffin.
"WHAT?! Crystal, your husband's wrong, right?" asked Eunice angrily.
"Maybe Winnie can help her family and Dennis can help us kill the Mind Controller," chuckled Crystal nervously.
"Sigh, fine," mumbled Eunice.
"Winnie, Dad, and Mumette, go to Winda and Wenda's apartment," ordered Dracula.
Later...
Wayne, Wanda, and Johnny, went to Winda and Wenda's apartment.
"What happened now?" asked Willa.
"Wanda had another episode," sighed Wayne.
"What did you see Wanda?" questioned Winda.
Wanda, still frightened from what she saw, looked at her sisters.
"It-It's hard t-to e-explain," stammered Wanda.
"Wanda, we're your family. You can tell us anything," whimpered Wenda.
"I s-saw this l-light, and i-it was m-moving through a-a red t-tunnel," shivered Wanda. "I don't know where it is."
Windy came along with drawing supplies.
"Aunty Wanda, what if you draw what you saw? It's what I do when I have trouble telling others what I see and think," chuckled Windy, placing the drawing supplies in the coffee table.
Willa gave Wanda paper then some red color pencils and crayons. Wanda frantically drew on one paper, then gave the drawing to Winda.
"I don't understand... Is this supposed to be a bridge or pathway?" asked Winda in confused as Wanda gave her another drawing. "Wait a minute, are we building a map?"
"That's what it looks like," said Johnny.
"Wayne, put the papers on the floor," said Willa. "We might have to some on the walls too."
Later...
Wanda finished drawing and out the supplies down.
"Why does this map look familiar?" asked Wayne to himself. "Like, the roads remind of something."
Windy pointed at a whole section of drawings.
"What is it Windy?" asked Winda.
"This is the road you use to take Wes and I to monster school," said Windy. She pointed at another set of drawings. "And over there's the bridge of the hotel."
"What if these tunnels are Transylvania, but in the World of Darkness?" asked Wenda.
"We'll call the police and dig a hole in the forest to see," said Willa.
"The police?! They're not going to believe us! Why don't we get Dr. Harp and the scientists from Ericka's lab? They'll believe us," suggested Johnny.
"Johnny, we're not the only ones who witnessed what the alternate stuff," grumbled Wayne. "But we could use Dr. Harp and the scientists too."
Winnie, Vlad, and Mumette suddenly came into the apartment.
Winnie nodded her head then said, "Dracula has a plan to defeat the Mind Controller."
"It's pretty complicated though," said Mumette.
"What's all of this?" asked Vlad, looking at the drawings.
"We'll explain later, just go into my hearse," said Wayne, getting some shovels.
Later...
Wayne stopped the hearse at a pond.
"Why are we here Aunt Wenda?" asked Winnie.
"We think a dimension is under Transylvania," said Wenda as Winnie gasped. "There could be alternate tunnels."
"Winda, Mumette, Wenda, stay here watch over Wanda and the girls while we dig the hole," said Wayne. He looked at his couch. "It won't be long before Dr. Harp, the police, and the scientists to come."
Willa settled her paws on the grass.
"The grass is red and black," whimpered Willa. She dug some dirt and saw red gooey soil. "The soil's red and gooey too."
The group dug through the ground until the hole was deep enough. The girls walked out of the hearse looking curious.
"Do you see anything?" asked Mumette.
"Seem's like Wanda's drawing are accurate," said Johnny.
Everyone looked down and saw a tunnel with a red atmosphere. The soil was red and gooey and most of the plants inside the tunnel were black. Vans suddenly pulled up into the area and people with flamethrowers ran out.
"What is that down there?" asked Dr. Harp.
"It's a tunnel from the World of Darkness," stated Vlad.
"It's good that you reported this," said Dr. Harp. "This thing keeps coming back and we don't have the time to respond."
"BURN THE TUNNELS DOWN AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!" yelled an officer as people jumped into the tunnel.
They turned their flamethrowers on and blew it around the tunnels, but Wanda suddenly screamed and fell to the ground.
"WANDA? WANDA?!" screamed Winda.
The tunnels burned more as Wanda moved over. She then screeched loudly and suffered a frantic seizure as people approached her on the ground.
