Peach's Castle (10 Years Ago)
"Oh, Mario! I got some news!" Peach said, holding a bunch of papers in her hand. "So I've been thinking of our recent talk about bringing in people from other worlds, and I think I got the ideal thing for it!"
"What's with the papers?" Mario asked.
"Oh, just a list of the people I've been thinking of inviting to the kingdom. I was thinking that our best way to greet people here in the kingdom is with…fighting." Peach replied.
"Fighting? Princess, what are you talking about?" Mario asked, confused, crossing his arms together.
"Well, I've decided to call this meet-up, 'Super Smash Bros.!" Peach announced.
"Super Smash Bros.?" Mario asked. Yes, this was the name, Super Smash Bros. Pretty similar to Mario's own types of adventures, don't you think?
"Yes. I was thinking of setting up a tournament of gathering all people around to show off their types of skills they had in their worlds, and so I contacted a person…or rather a hand." Peach said, putting a finger on her chin.
What?" Mario begins to be confused even more by his girlfriend's explanation of all things.
"A hand. He said his name is Master Hand. He's one of the creators of the Smash universe. Or he's planning to begin making this tournament a real thing." Peach said.
"That still doesn't explain with the papers you're holding." Mario said, pointing at Peach's papers.
"As I said, the people that me and Master Hand have agreed to visit this kingdom and show off their skills." Peach holds up the first picture which is an obvious image of her boyfriend with his thumbs up pose.
"Princess, why am I participating in this? I'm the hero of the kingdom." Mario asked, still confused by the princess' decision.
"Because, our world needs to be represented in this competition, and who else better can put up their fighting skills than you, after numerous times of putting up a fight against Bowser, and saving me." Peach explained her reasonings.
Mario puts his hand on his chin for a moment to think before he speaks up. "Well, that would be a good promotion, and other people will have the great chance to meet me. I'll do it!" He says raising his fist up in the air with a jump.
Peach smiles and puts the papers down as she begins to clap her hands together in excitement. "Oh, wonderful! Thank you, Mario!" She leans forward and kisses Mario's cheek as a thank you.
Mario rubs his cheek and blushes slightly in response. "Anything for you, princess. I love you so much."
"Me too, Mario. I'm counting on you to put on your best fighting skills." Peach said, holding up the papers again. "Oh, before you leave, can you give this to Luigi? We've decided that he's going to join in this competition as well." Peach holds up a picture of Luigi with a kind smile on his face while putting his cap together.
"Oh…" Mario said, taking the picture from Peach noticing Luigi on it.
Unknown
Waking up, in a dark area. Luigi opens his vision and it's nothing but pure darkness ahead of him, except for a spotlight that towers over him. Unsure of his surroundings, he's also unsure of his first action.
He looks around to his surroundings, until he notices a rather tall person in front of him, with long gray hair and light green eyes. He wears mainly gray and black armor with metallic shoulder pads and a menacing look on his face.
Luigi stares upon the person until he speaks up. "Do you know who I am?"
Luigi sits there without saying anything, staring at the person in front of him until he finally opens his mouth, bringing out some stammering. "Uh…uh…no."
"Well, I know who you are…Mr. Luigi." The man said, and began to walk around the dark area.
Luigi hearing his name was a surprise to be given, with his eyes widened a bit. "How…how do you know my name?"
The man gives off a small chuckle to his own amusement. "I know everybody."
"Everybody?" Luigi asked for a more clear response from the person.
"The Super Smash Bros. competition. I've been hearing about it for a long time, and since then, I've seen so many people joining in this tournament." The man explained. "I've been watching from afar, but now's the time I should give in some approach."
"Who are you, anyway?" Luigi asked.
"Me? Why should you know anything about me? I'm just a mere mysterious man, here, in the black shadows." The man responded to Luigi's question.
"Where am I, too?" Luigi asks the next question in his mind.
"Somewhere. Just somewhere. You may not even be in your beloved kingdom with your precious princess. It's sad to hear of her disappearance." The man continues to walk around the dark room, this time heading for Luigi.
"Peach?! Do you know anything about her?" Luigi asked, raising his voice a little higher.
"Oh, her? Unfortunately, I don't. But I will tell you this, she will be the biggest mystery that the Mushroom Kingdom will ever face upon. Time will be ticking until her ultimate fate will be revealed, and her beloved kingdom will be in a downfall." The man responded.
Luigi continues staring at the man with the explanation of his, but he has one more thing to say with him. "Oh, and about that girlfriend of yours, your excited princess of Sarasaland, keep a good eye on her. If you want to be a hero, protect her. Things will be intense for your kingdom."
After the talk, a woman appears behind Luigi's chair, and it's the same woman who appeared behind him at Diamond City. As the room begins to fade into darkness again, the woman charges her axe and aims it at Luigi, which hearing the sound from it, turns around at the last second, and his vision turns to total blackness once again.
Mario Bros. House
"Luigi!"
"Luigi!"
His vision was beginning to come back. His eyes could barely open. Upon trying to open his eyes up, Luigi can only see a red hat.
"LUIGI!"
One more shout fully opens Luigi's eyes. Now he can see his brother, the first person he sees after waking up. "Huh? Mario?"
"Luigi! You're up!" Mario said, putting his fears down to relief.
"Yes…why are we home? What happened?" Luigi said, rubbing his head while looking around the house.
"Luigi, you passed out." Mario answered. Luigi was surely confused as to what Mario was talking about, but it was clear he needed more explanation from his brother.
"We were leaving the city and we couldn't find you until we saw you passed out. Do you remember anything that happened before?" Mario asked.
Luigi begins to think of anything that happened previously. The only thing that came to mind was him remembering Daisy's birthday party. It was at his own actions that he couldn't really see who was behind him, though…
"I mean, I was going to be with you guys, but I started to think about Daisy more…" Luigi said. "Mario, I love her. If Wario wins this thing, then how am I going to date her now?"
Mario comforted his brother by rubbing his shoulder. "Don't worry. Daisy can do this. If anyone's a great soccer (football) player, it's Daisy. She'll win this. Speaking of which, she's down at Toad Town Park for some practice. Red, Leaf, and Pit are there too. Come on." Mario said, waving his hand up to signal Luigi to get up from his bed.
Luigi walks out and starts to remember more from what happened previously. All he could say is that he had a dream. Or at least he thinks it's a dream, one where he met an unusual gray haired person. But that could be something he'll worry about later. For now, it was time to prepare for Daisy's upcoming Strikers match with Wario.
Lavalava Island
Far away from the Mushroom Kingdom, there's the peaceful Island of Yoshis. This is where Mario's loyal friend, Yoshi, happens to live with all of his fellow Yoshi friends. They're all enjoying life together as one big happy family.
However, a sudden change of peacefulness begins to interrupt. The waves at the beach come crashing forward at the sand. Far afar, you can see the approaching vehicle in the moving sea.
A pirate ship. A pirate ship that's equipped with a bunch of cannonballs and in front, a purple-skinned woman with red eyes and a menacing smile on her face that expresses her own kind of excitement. Her figure is also very attractive towards many people as her cleavage can be shown on her bra.
She wears a red and white bandanna on her head covering her purple hair. She wears gold hoop earrings on both of her ears, a purple collar around her neck with a gold piece on it, a purple bra that's designed to look like the face of a skull which tightly hugs her curves in the best places, and matching purple elastic pants with parts of a skull being shown on the upper half.
This woman's name is Risky Boots. She calls herself Queen of the Seven Seas and an evil rival of Shantae, taking over Sequin Land. This time, however, Risky has some other plans upon hearing news she couldn't be more amused hearing.
"So…That Shantae thinks she deserves everything she wants. Including an invitation to the Super Smash Bros. tournament, and I don't get one." Risky pulls out her lipstick and applies it to her lips. "Well, I'll show her! And I'll begin by taking over one of these islands here in the kingdom! Men, steer in close! Time for some pirate action!"
The main area of the island consists of a Cabana for humans to rest in and shop. From there, a woman, who is the guardian of the island, helps out to look after the Yoshis. She has long red hair, similar in the form of Shantae's as a ponytail, and dark green eyes. She also wears a short white tank top exposing her stomach and belly button, separate white sleeves, light purple cuffs, white pants with cut-outs at the hips, and light purple boots.
This is Harmony, the eldest Half-Genie that Shantae befriended at a Half-Genie festival. After spending a bunch of time over at Sequin Land, she wanted to relax from another place elsewhere. That's when she realizes upon hearing Shantae's invitation to the Ultimate tournament, she wanted to come along and support her, given to act like an older sister to her, much like Shantae's girlfriend, Sky.
Anyways, Harmony, Shantae, and Sky all traveled to the Mushroom Kingdom, but Harmony chose to stay over at Yoshi's Island to look after all of the Yoshis and become a guardian of their own.
What she doesn't know are a few things: Risky's arrival, and the secret treasure that lies hidden in the volcano of the island. The nice peaceful environment that Harmony was enjoying laying under the sun in her lilac-colored two piece swimsuit with a gold hoop being worn on her leg.
It's a good time for her as she drinks in her tropical fruit punch until a familiar face comes up close and personal right at the half-genie's face.
"Hello, puny half-genie. Remember me?" The figure begins to smile evilly while equipping her sharp sword.
Harmony takes off her shades, and she begins to gasp slightly at the look of the figure's menacing face. "You!"
"Yes, me! Risky Boots, the gorgeous, attractive, and deadly queen of the Seven Seas! Ho ho ho!" Risky introduces herself, chuckling out loudly enough.
"What are you doing here? You know we defeated you from your kidnapping of all of the other half-genies!" Harmony said, defending herself in front of the pirate queen.
"Ha ha ha! Well, if you must know, hearing that half-genie hero of yours got an invitation to the Smash competition, and not me, I've decided to follow all of you and cause terror around to take control of my own!" Risky explained.
"So that gives you the right to come over here to my own quiet spot? Wait, why are you here? Shouldn't you go over to Shantae?" Harmony crosses her arms together.
"Heh, I couldn't find that brat anywhere after she and that pesky girlfriend of hers went off flying on a stupid bird! So instead, I went to matters of my own finding an island here in the Mushroom World and wanting to take over it! I even heard about some treasure being found here as well…" Risky explained.
"Treasure…?" Harmony whispered to herself.
"And now, I found someone even better here, you! I will capture you once more and this time…" Risky takes out a piece of tape from under her bandanna and applies it harshly to her mouth which she tries to resist, but it was no use with the strong force the pirate queen has. "...don't break yourself out of this, honey. Your vacation is at a dead end. HO HO HO!" Risky laughs evilly at her own excitement.
"Men! Aboard the island! Time for a pirate queen takeover!" Risky carries Harmony over her shoulder as the captured half-genie herself tries to scream out, but all she could do is muffle. She even tries to scream Shantae's name as loud as she could, but Risky has successfully captured Harmony, and this was one part of her plan.
However, without any notice, it seems like another visitor is at the island too, high above the skies witnessing the kidnapping and takeover in action. A woman, who's skin is very tanned, has purple eyes and long bangs. Her blonde hair is all tied back hidden in a blue headwrap, and a purple hood that extends to a cape attached to it. She also wears earrings in the shape of eggs, colored pink and blue.
She also wears a tank top girdle bra that matches the same color scheme as her earrings being pink and blue with a zigzag design in the middle and bottom of the piece of clothing being colored purple. Brown wrappings on her arm, white khaki pants, and brown boots are the other pieces of clothing that fits her hourglass figure as best.
"Oh no…" The woman holds her hand over her mouth. "I have to warn Shantae!" The woman flies back through the skies on her large pet bird, riding back to the Mushroom Kingdom as quickly as possible.
Toad Town Park
Back at the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario and Luigi arrive at the park with both Pokemon Trainers waiting for them, and Pit as well.
"Luigi!" Red sits up from the bench and hugs the green clad hero, happy enough to know he is okay. Luigi on the other hand, was taken back by Red's surprise hug, but he pats his head for comfort.
"Red, it's okay. I'm still here." Luigi said.
"I know. I got so worried when we found you lying on the grass back at the town." Red said, letting go of Luigi, a few tears running down his face.
"Oh, you big cry baby of a trainer." Leaf said, putting a hand on her boyfriend's shoulder. Red was confused by the name-calling that his girlfriend said. "What? Lt. Surge told us all to man up. I certainly did, you just still act like the same childish 10 year boy who I met when we first got our Pokemon, and now we're both 13 years olds fighting our Pokemon against other unusual people around." Leaf crosses her arms.
"Hey! I'm still a growing boy! My mom knows I'm growing up, especially in a tournament like this one!" Red snaps back at his girlfriend. "I can stop acting like a child while knowing that the princess is missing!"
"Okay, can you two stop this arguing? We have a match to prepare for." Mario said, putting his hands on his hips.
"Yes, now clear the court, please." A familiar feminine voice is heard. Everyone turns around and notices it is Daisy's voice as the chipper princess changes attire to one that Luigi found very attractive, her soccer outfit.
The princess wears a two piece soccer outfit, with her upper half exposing her stomach and belly button. The upper half also includes a color scheme of orange and teal around, along with a number 9 on her chest.
And if that wasn't attracting Luigi enough, her shorts also do the trick, and they're even a bit more shorter than regular shorts people wear. It also has the same color scheme as her upper half, and greatly shows off her legs.
No heels for Daisy this time as well, her footwear also consists of sneakers with the same color scheme as before, with teal on the top, and orange at the bottom. A large D is also at one end of the shoe too.
"How do I look, Weegee?" Daisy asked her boyfriend.
Luigi was stunned. It was either this, a swimsuit, or a party dance outfit that would make Luigi think he's dating the most attractive girl in the world for him. His eyes were glued to her body, and he can't speak a word out.
"Luigi…" Daisy leans to her boyfriend and waves a hand in front of him. "Earth to Daisy, your girlfriend. Come on, baby…"
"Mama mia…" Luigi oogles at his girlfriend.
"Is he okay?" Pit asked, making a weird expression on his face upon seeing Luigi's stare at his girlfriend.
"Well…not really. I'm not usually like this when Peach is in her soccer (football) outfit, or when we go to the beach. The only time I've ever been stunned by Peach's clothing is when we got married 2 years ago." Mario answered, explaining a bit on his side of a trance. "I still remember that day well." Sighing in happiness that he married the royal princess of the kingdom, except he did forget the most important thing.
"Um, Mario? The princess is kidnapped now." Pit reminded his fellow Smasher.
Mario snaps his head back into reality after hearing what Pit said. "Oh…right."
"Don't worry, Mario. Once I beat Wario, we will be able to find some more clues about Peach's disappearance after he tells us what he knows!" Daisy said, excitedly raising her fist
"Umm…Shouldn't someone help Luigi? He's still in the trance." Red said, pointing at his green-clad heroic friend, still staring at Daisy's attractive uniform.
"Don't worry. I got this." Leaf stands up from the bench and tosses out one of her Pokeballs. "Charizard, come on out!"
Charizard appears out of Leaf's Pokeball as he awaits with one of her commands. "Now, Charizard, use Flamethrower on Luigi!" Leaf shouted.
Charizard turns over to Luigi, who is still in a trance without noticing the large fire-type, and prepares to breathe as much fire he could and spits it out in a large amount at the Eternal Understudy who reacts in a loud scream as he looks behind noticing Charizard spitting fire at his ass.
"YOOOUUUUCHHHH! MAMMA MIA!" Luigi screams as he covers his butt up and runs around the park as fast as he could, extinguishing any fire he could get off of him. Leaf giggles at the sight of seeing Mario's brother in pain running around the park.
Mario glances over at Leaf and gives her an expression on his face with one eyebrow above the other. "Really? You want to torment my brother?!" He shouted.
"Don't worry. I can fix this." Leaf holds up her Charizard's ball and calls back to her. "Charizard, come on back!" The female Kantonian trainer pulls out another Poke Ball of hers.
"Let's go, Squirtle!" A Tiny Turtle Pokemon emerges from Leaf's Poke Ball being her own starter from Professor Oak. "Now, Squirtle, use Water Gun on Luigi!"
Squirtle turns around to Luigi, still running his ass off in the park area, and the tiny turtle Pokemon prepares to fire up a large array of water to spit out on the green clad hero.
"Weegee!" Daisy called out.
"Bath time!" Leaf shouted.
Luigi couldn't hear the shouting from either his girlfriend or Leaf, but Squirtle begins to spit out a huge amount of water directly at Luigi, as he turns around quickly to notice himself getting doused by lots of Squirtle's water.
Both Daisy and Leaf laugh loudly seeing the green hero being drenched in lots of water as they both high five each other. "Nice going!" Daisy cheered.
"Thank you. I always love being the mischievous trainer back at home." Leaf giggled.
Mario runs over to Luigi sitting down at the grass and lends him a hand. "Are you okay, bro?"
Luigi takes his brother's hand and stands up on his feet again, definitely out of his trance mind of staring at his girlfriend's hourglass figure. "Yeah, I'm alright." He turns his face angrily over at Leaf. "Hey, what's the big idea? Why did you do that?"
"Fun. Fun for myself to torture a freak staring at his girlfriend all day long." Leaf said, returning her Squirtle back into the Poke Ball.
"Staring? No, I wasn't." Luigi tried to deny his actions.
"Uh, yes, you were, Weegee." Daisy said, putting a hand on her boyfriend's shoulder. "I'm glad you think I'm very attractive, but next time, be a better boyfriend than just staring at my bod all day, okay?"
"Sorry, babe." Luigi apologized, turning away from his girlfriend, and instead looked at the ground. Daisy leans forward and kisses his cheek causing him to blush as he rubs the spot softly.
"Be sure to count on me down at the court, sweetie!" Daisy said.
"Oh, Daisy, by the way, it's been some years since we did the Strikers tournament. Do you remember anything from your skills?" Mario asked.
"Hmm…I think I do. My best features to defeat Wario are my strong legs, of course. I just need some help from teammates for me, you guys will be on the field for me, won't you?" Daisy asked.
"Sorry, Daisy. Wario only wanted you to face him, not us. You're going to need some help around with a few people here." Mario shrugs his shoulders.
"And not me or both of the trainers don't even know how to do this type of sport." Pit said.
"Yeah, what kind of sport is this, by the way?" Leaf asked.
"It's Soccer (Football), but with some twists thanks to our world of Mushrooms and Starmans around the place. It's a massive battlefield down there with a bunch of shells and bombs around." Mario explained.
"So it's kinda like the Smash fights, but you don't do any fighting." Pit guessed, crossing his arms together.
"Sorta. Just we do a lot of kicking, passing, and blocking too." Mario replied.
"Oh no…" Daisy sits down at the bench, looking worried.
"What's wrong, Daisy?" Mario asked.
"I just realized there's a lot when it comes to these Strikers tournaments. What if I screw up, and give the match to Wario?" Daisy asked, hiding her face in her hands.
"Babe, you were excited earlier about taking down Wario, now what happened?" Luigi asked, sitting next to her on the bench, patting her back.
"I don't know. It's been years since we've last done it, but I'm not sure I still have the same confidence to take him down. I had a really long good streak." Daisy answered. "I'm worried I could get rusty at this."
It's true, many years later, Daisy hasn't participated in the Strikers tournament again since she has been kart racing and partying with her friends. When Luigi feels of her own concern at testing out the sport again, he begins to comfort her, being the best boyfriend he could be.
"Babe. Listen to me. At any sport that you play, what type of player are you?" Luigi asked, putting his hands on Daisy's shoulders.
The desert princess looks up to him with a straight face. "A winner."
"And winners don't worry about losing. That's what I love you most, Daisy. One-on-one on Tennis, you beat me. One-on-one with Golf, you beat me. You have excellent talent, Daisy, and I'm sure you'll be able to beat Wario." Luigi said.
Daisy starts to smile, and forms a few tears from her eyes. She then hugs him by surprise, which he blushes lightly and pats her hair. "Thank you, Weegee. I wouldn't know what to do if you weren't here."
After that, Daisy begins to stand up and raises her fist. "Weegee's right. I'm a winner. And this winner will not back down from a match! I will kick Wario's ass!"
"That's the spirit, Daisy! Now, what do you say, we head down there and cheer on Daisy to help her win?" Mario asked.
"Uh, wait." Pit interrupted. Everyone turns around to the angel awaiting anything he has to say. "Aren't we forgetting something, like Mario said, teammates?"
"Oh, right. How can we find any in short notice if any of you can't help me?" Daisy asked, bringing her concerned face back.
"We'll help you, miss Daisy!" A voice is heard. Running to the group, a Blue Toad, Hammer Bro, and Koopa Troopa all approach the Sarasaland Princess. "We can be your teammates! We heard about your upcoming match on the news, and we'd be happy to assist you in any way!"
Daisy is pleased. She has both of her hands on her chest, just feeling happy enough to see she has teammates on her own. "Thank you. But the match is announced on the news?"
"Yes! It starts in an hour, so we better hurry!" Koopa Troopa said.
"An hour?! Where does it take place?" Luigi asked.
"Pipeline Central, up in the sky far from Peach's Castle!" Hammer Bro responded, pointing to the skies.
"That's actually pretty far. We're not sure we're going to make it in time!" Mario exclaimed.
"No worries. We have Charizards, remember?" Red said, tossing out his Pokeball, freeing his Charizard.
"That's another problem, Red. We were able to have enough people on our Charizards, but these three can't fit onto them. We need another idea." Leaf said.
Both Red and Leaf get a bit of quick thinking and afterwards, the Kanto champion gains an idea. "Wait, what about the Pokemon Center here in the Kingdom? They probably have some Pokemon for use in the tournament!"
"You're right! There's got to be some flying types in there!" Leaf said, snapping her fingers together. "Nice one, Red!"
"Heh, for being the smartest Pokemon trainer of all…" Red chuckled, while scratching the back of his head.
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get down there and pick them out! We have a match to get to!" Pit said.
"Right!" Everyone else said, running off out of the park to head to the Mushroom Kingdom Pokemon Center.
Deep Sea Metro
A pipe appears in a dark subway-like area. Emerging from it, the team of Lucario, Isabelle, Duck Hunt, and Villager arrives at the Mushroom Kingdom. Or is it really to them?
"Wait…this isn't the Mushroom Kingdom. What's this?" Isabelle said, with a concerning look on her face.
"I'm not sure…I've never seen this place before." Lucario said, as he took a look around. This is definitely not the Mushroom Kingdom.
"What happened, then? Did we take a wrong turn?" Villager asked, with a shocked expression on his face.
Everyone around shrugs their shoulders until they hear a voice approaching the group.
"Hey."
Then, they turn to the source of the voice. "You fellows need help?" A boy and girl, with pink octopus-like hair, and dark skin around their bodies. They are also wearing black uniforms and boots, with the girl's outfit showing her stomach. Both of the boy and girl are also holding a weapon, a roller of sorts. Their appearance is very similar to the Inklings.
"Who are you?" Lucario asked.
"I'm Octoling Girl, this is my brother, Octoling Boy. We live here underground in the subways of Inkopolis." Octoling Girl introduces herself.
"Inkopolis? This is Shelly's world." Isabelle said.
"Shelly?" Lucario asked, in confusion, awaiting an explanation of the name.
"An Inkling Girl from this world who has orange squid hair. Me and Isabelle met her during the Kart-Racing tournaments with Mario. I'm guessing it seems like she got invited to the Smash tournament as well, if we're here…" Villager puts his hand on his chin and thinks for a moment.
"The Smash tournament? I've heard of them…that normal squiddy girl actually joined in? I don't think we got an invitation." Octoling Girl said.
"Yeah, well, the problem is, we're trying to find our way to the Mushroom Kingdom, but for some reason, we ended up here. Do you know a way around where we can get to Peach's Castle?" Lucario asked.
Both Octolings think about it for a moment before they answer Lucario's question. "Well, how about this? We will travel through the Subway Stations and we'll see if there's anything that will take you folks over there." Octoling Boy said.
"Thank you! Oh, we never introduced ourselves. My name is Isabelle. I am a secretary of my friend, the Mayor's town, Smashville. The mayor is also called Villager!" Isabelle said, bringing in a warm smile on her face.
"And I'm Lucario, an Aura Pokemon. I belong to my trainer, Cynthia, champion of the Sinnoh region. The dog and bird you see beside us are called Duck Hunt." Lucario introduces himself and the dog duo.
"Oh, nice to meet you all. Well, come on, we got a large section of underground ink to roll through." Octoling Girl said, leading the entire group on the way.
As they were walking through, Villager begins up a chat with the two Octoling siblings. "So…you two have been down here your whole life?"
"Not really. I was told that me and Shelly met each other at Octo Valley. We both faced each other, but then someone else caused me amnesia, which was how I wound up here. Venturing through, I needed to gain my memories again, and afterwards, I knew that my home was here in Inkopolis." Octoling Girl explained.
"And what about you and Shelly? Did you two remain friends overtime?" Lucario asked.
"Well, we hang out every now and then. She still helped me participate in the Turf Wars, and made me feel welcome in the city." Octoling Girl smiled.
The group then stops at a platform, with train tracks in front of them. "So, what are we waiting here for?"
"Transportation. This is a subway station, you know." Octoling Boy responded. A minute later, a nearby subway train stops at the group and both Octolings lead the group inside.
"This is it, everyone. A subway train that will help us navigate so that you can get to your destination." Octoling Girl said, waving her arms around the area.
"And we know a couple of ladies who will guide us through as well." Octoling Boy said, speaking loudly towards a radio transmission speaker that's sitting in one of the seats.
"Did somebody call for us?!" A female voice yelled out of the transpeaker.
"Ah, You're here." Octoling Boy speaks up to the transpeaker. "I'm at the subway station with some people here. They want to find their way out of the station."
"Oh? Who would those people be?" Another female voice is heard from the transpeaker.
"Well, they said their names are: Lucario, Villager, Isabelle, and apparently some sort of dog and duck duo named Duck Hunt." Octoling Girl responded.
"Who are those people?" Villager asked.
"Oh, my guides. Their names are and DJ_Hyperfresh." Octoling Girl said.
"Also known as…Off the Hook! We're Pearl and Marina, pop stars of Inkopolis, but down here, we're a major form of help to both Octolings here!" Marina shouted out.
"Marina, did you have to shout out loud like that? This is an underground lair, for squid's sake." Pearl said.
"Oh, my bad. I just love to get myself pumped up by telling people about our pop duo!" Marina giggled.
"So, you two know how we can get out of here?" Lucario asked.
"Sure! Just sit tight during the Subway Ride, and we can find something that'll help y'all get to your destination." Pearl responded.
The subway train begins to move, as the group sits down and relax, awaiting for their destination. Everyone remains to be quiet with one another until something unusual happens.
'SCREECH'
Both Villager and Isabelle bring out faces of shock hearing that noise. "What was that?" Isabelle said, with concern in her face.
"Let me go check out." Lucario says, as he gets up from his seat.
"I'll go with you." Octoling Girl follows the Aura Pokemon.
"Both of you, please be careful!" Villager said, filled with worry.
Lucario walks over to the kid and pats his head. "Don't worry, kid. I can sense anything in my way, and I'm sure danger lurks around this corner."
Villager smiles at the Aura Pokemon and gives him a hug. Lucario was shaken by the surprise hug, but instead, he hugs back to him. After a quick hug to each other, Lucario and Octoling Girl were out of the subway.
"Mayor, what's with you and Lucario? Are you great friends with each other?" Isabelle asked.
"Well, because I've spent so much time with our animal friends, I felt that Lucario would be the closest relation I have with a fighter in the tournament. I can say he's a personal best friend of mine in the fights."
"Makes sense. He does seem to act like a dog, which I am as well." Isabelle giggled.
Outside of the subway, both Lucario and Octoloing Girl inspect around the subway to see what caused the subway to stop.
"Hmmm…nothing around right here." Octoling Girl said, looking from underneath the tracks.
"Nothing around here, either." Lucario said, looking in behind the train, but that wasn't it however. "Wait! I can sense something!"
Octoling Girl runs towards the Aura Pokemon. "Wait, how? How can you sense something?"
Lucario raises a paw in front of the dark-skinned octoling, and closes his eyes in sight. The Aura Pokemon takes a minute to look around its surroundings, but nothing in his sight, yet he feels something.
"Hmm…I know I feel something out here. I just don't know what–" Lucario said, before being interrupted by a noise. A very creepy laugh, if you will.
From inside of the train, Isabelle plays a little ball with Duck Hunt with Octoling Boy spectating to see the two fighters bond with each other. A smile on his face sees how adorable the two are.
However, the cutesy moment of bonding comes to a halt, when both screams can be heard from Lucario and Octoling Girl. "Huh?! That doesn't sound too good!" Isabelle said.
Isabelle, Villager, Duck Hunt, and Octoling Boy all look out the subway window when they see Lucario and Octoling Girl being captured by a very odd creature with gigantic looking eyes and sprouts of wings on his back.
"What the heck is that?!" Octoling Boy shouted.
Everyone runs out of the train as they see both Lucario and Octoling Girl struggling to get out of the creature's clutches, but it was no use.
"Hey! What the heck are you doing to them?" Agent 9 shouted.
"Heh heh heh. You're the Super Smash Bros. fighters, aren't you?" The creature begins to talk.
"Yeah? What's it to you and why are you holding my sister captive?" Octoling Boy asked.
"Heh heh. The name's Marx! I've come from a world where dreams are always happy and bright, but the truth for myself, I find it unpleasant to me! I want to rule that world to my demise and to do that, I'm capturing some of your fighter friends!" Marx begins to laugh maniacally to his own enjoyment.
"Wow…you're just one of the creepiest people I've ever met…" Isabelle said, with her legs shaking in fear.
"You know a person named Kirby?" Marx asked.
Both Villager and Isabelle look in shock at each other after hearing the name Marx called out. "Kirby?! What do you want with him?" Villager asked.
"And how do you know him?" Isabelle asked.
"Oh…just the thought…of taking over his world!" Marx chuckled evilly. "I want to rule his world of Planet Popstar. Make all dreams suffer to a downright hell and make all citizens bow down to my command of the land!"
Octoling Boy grits his teeth with a more serious look on his face appearing. "Grrr….I still don't know you that much, but we're taking you down!"
"Ha ha ha! We'll see about that! For now, these two will be under my captive hold! See ya at the end of the line…losers!" Marx chuckled loudly as he zooms off into the deeper parts of the subway.
"LUCARIO!" Villager shouted, with his echoes being very audible to everyone around him. The subway is in a darker mood than before. Villager sighs for a bit, then begins to dwell up tears from his eyes. Isabelle is also sad enough for a fellow dog teammate of hers is captured, but nonetheless, she pats a hand on Villager's back.
"I'm sorry, Mayor…"

Both Link and Zelda are screaming upon seeing what was in front of them after the princess found her heroic fiancée.
"WHAT IS THAT?!" Link shouted.
"I don't know…but, it looks scary. Link, please protect me." Zelda said, cowering behind Link as she expects him to fight against the creature.
"Who are you?" Link asked, preparing to use his sword and shield.
"Huh? You don't remember me?" The creature asked. "We've met many years in the Smash tournament, and you two are pretending that you just don't know me at all!"
"That's because, we really don't know you. You just have a really weird body, for all I can say…" Zelda said timidly.
"Fools! I'm Mewtwo! The all-mighty psychic Pokemon who's known to make people fall under my control!" The creature introduces himself. "I'm baffled how you don't remember me, hero of Hyrule."
"A Pokemon? Link, didn't we hear that we're going to be facing some Pokemon in this tournament?" Zelda asked.
"Seems like it, I guess that's why this…creature…has a weird body." Link said, inspecting Mewtwo's oddly shaped body.
"HEY! I still don't understand! Why are you two acting like dumbfounded idiots who don't even remember a single bit of my presence here!" Mewtwo argued, getting annoyed with Link and Zelda's behavior.
"What do you mean? This is our first time being here in the Smash tournament. We just don't know much of everyone else here." Zelda said, stopping her cowardly behavior and began to talk more directly.
Mewtwo then closes his eyes and begins to speak to himself telepathically. "Hmmm…it seems like Peach has invited another set of those Hyrule heroes. I wonder who else is making an appearance once I invade the tournament. Hopefully, that stupid trainer Red and his Pokemon will be up to a fight again!"
"Uh…Mewtwo?" Link asked. "Are you okay? You haven't said anything for several seconds."
Mewtwo exits his telepathy conversation with himself and begins to speak out to both Link and Zelda again. "You two! What are you doing here? State your business! Say anything before I wipe you out into existence!"
Both Link and Zelda were terrified again. They didn't know they are scarier fighters in the tournament, and here they are with Mewtwo. Soon after, Zelda begins to calm down and walks forward, directly in front of the psychic Pokemon.
"Mewtwo…I'm Princess Zelda, princess of Hyrule. Over there is my soon-to-be husband, Link. We recently came here to the Mushroom Kingdom to participate in the Ultimate tournament, and my fellow Princess, Peach of the kingdom, has recently disappeared. We just thought Bowser's a culprit in this since we've heard many times of Peach's kidnapping." Zelda explained.
Mewtwo closes his eyes while crossing his arms for a moment, thinking all about Zelda's explanation. After a minute, he begins to speak a response to the two. "I see. Peach's been kidnapped. And you two think Bowser's the one behind the action?"
"Yes, we're heading down to Bowser's Castle and get into some confrontation with him. If you want, mind coming with us? If you help us, we'll be able to have the tournament." Link asked.
Mewtwo once again closes his eyes and thinks for a moment. A minute later, he speaks up in his telepathy conversation. "I have a proposition. Since the princess has the tournament delayed, I still want some encouragement to fight. I still want to practice to kill Red and all of his stupid Pokemon! So…if you defeat me in a fight, I will advise you on your adventure. Do we have a deal?"
"Fight you? Since when do you have any encouragement to fight? Do we even know what your moves are?" Zelda asked.
"Oh, just try me. I've been fighting since the Melee tournament, and so many fighters have seen my psychic skills. I can easily kill anybody with these Psychic powers, and you know what? When I'm done with you two, I'm going after Red and will kill each and every single one of his Pokemon! Remember, this is Smash Bros. Sometimes, death can be inevitable when you're in a world like this. And I will end your lives too if you lose in this fight to the death." Mewtwo said, grinning his face into anger.
"Link, he scares me. This person is just like all of those monsters you've faced back at Hyrule. What if we lose this? We'll never find Peach…" Zelda said, worry in concern.
"It's the only way we can save this tournament, Zelda. We have no choice. It's either our lives or Peach's." Link said. "Come on, you're a fighter in this tournament. You need to show off your skills if we're going to find out more with Peach."
Zelda's face turns from concern to a more serious one as her own determination rises up. "You're right! Let's do this for Peach! Let's do this because we're a heroic couple together!"
"That's my Zelda!" Link then turns over to the psychic Pokemon. "Alright, Mewtwo, you've got a deal! We'll fight you."
Mewtwo closes his eyes and crosses his arms together while chuckling in amusement. "Very well. Show me what you got…Hyrule heroes."
Link prepares using his shield and sword while Zelda has her hand on her hip with her other hand igniting a light of fire as the fight begins between the two.
Club 64
Near the port in Toad Town lies a building full of adult Toads spending their time drinking down Mushroom Sodas and such. The bar has recently opened up a dance stage for anyone to join, and there's one particular person who enjoys being at this stage. A woman with a long purple haired ponytail in a gold stem stalk. She also has tan skin on her body.
She wears a red bra with a gold hoop in the middle, and red sheer harem pants. She also wears gold armor on her arms, and finally, gold earrings. This is Shantae, the hero from her world, Sequin Land.
She's been known to save her hometown from her nemesis, Risky Boots. After all of her heroic actions to save the town, she was given an invitation to join the Smash Bros. competition.
What's Shantae doing in the club, you may ask? A personal hobby of hers, belly dancing. Back in her home, she likes to belly dance in her own time as she was born of a natural dancer, especially fitting as a genie. In her own adventures, she also belly dances to transform into various animals.
She gained a lot of heritage from her mother, since she was a genie, but not too much was known about her, despite the history between her and Risky Boots. Anyways, the half-genie hero is at the club belly dancing in front of a bunch of Toads, as they cheer her on with Egyptian music playing in the background.
After a few minutes of dancing, her performance came to an end as every Toad cheered and whistled at her. Shantae feels embarrassed by her figure being noticed by a bunch of Toads, but it doesn't matter to her too much, since she enjoys belly dancing for an audience.
She sits down at a counter with a Toad bartender who is wiping all of the glasses. "Hello! One glass of Chuckola Beer, please!"
"Coming right up, my lady." The Toad Bartender said. "So, are you disappointed about that tournament you were going to join?" He pours Shantae a glass of beer for her to drink down.
"Yeah…I mean, all of my fighting skills against my enemy Risky Boots were enough for the princess to notice that I could be worthy of becoming one of those fighters." The half genie drinks part of her beer and continues with her talk. "I recently finished an adventure of saving my new half-genie hero friends at an island, and now, I'm just spending my own time here making every Toad feel so attractive to me, when I have a girlfriend of my own that I love so much, and she's my best friend."
"Who's your girlfriend, anyway? Is she another fellow like you?" The Bartender asked.
"No. She's different. She's a bird trainer that likes to fly around different places, which is what I'm thinking she's doing right now." Shantae said.
Speaking of the devil, the entrance door makes a loud banging noise as a woman calls out a name. "Shantae!"
The purple-haired genie turns around and notices that the source of her voice belongs to her girlfriend, Sky. A bit surprised, however, noticing her barging into the club. "Oh, Sky? What are you doing here?"
"Babe! Harmony is in danger!" Sky shouted as she clenched her hands on her girlfriend's shoulders. Shantae gasps under her breath upon hearing the news about the kidnapping.
"How do you know? Where is she?" Shantae asked.
"At Lavalava Island. I was flying around the kingdom for a relaxing time, and I found Harmony being taken prisoner by Risky Boots! Shantae, she's here too! She's going to find you and take over the island!" Sky explained.
Shantae's expression turns into a serious one, as she's getting ready for action. "Not on my watch. Let's go, Sky. It's time for another adventure, and save our friend! I'm Ret-2-Go!"
"If you two ladies are heading out to sea, please feel free to ride on the giant whale at the port. He can take you to the island." The bartender said.
"Thank you, sir!" Shantae said, as she and her girlfriend walked out of the club.
"Ah…it's always nice to help out such an attractive hero like her." The toad bartender rests her hand on his face.
Both Shantae and Sky are walking down the port, noticing the giant whale, when Sky realizes something on her mind. "Wait, Shantae, something's on my mind?"
"What is it, honey?" Shantae asked, turning over to her girlfriend.
"You don't have any weapons, do you, besides your hair?" Sky asked, putting a hand on her hip.
Shantae now begins to make a realization at what her girlfriend is saying. Of course, she doesn't have any weapons for use after she saved her genie friends at that island as well.
"Damn it." She cursed under her breath. "What am I going to do?" The half-genie sits down at the port.
Sky feels also a bit depressed of seeing her girlfriend in a not very excited mood. The bird trainer sits down next to her for comfort by resting an arm around her back. "Hey, you know, we can always go back and alert the other genies. They'll help you in rescuing Harmony."
Shantae looks up and directly at her girlfriend. "Well…I suppose that works."
"Plus, you are competing in the biggest fighting tournament there is. It should be an honor that your heroic skills to save home is what got you into this tournament in the first place." Sky continued. Shantae begins to smile more at her girlfriend.
"You're right, girlfriend. I'm a hero and what heroes do is to save their friends! Sky, thank you so much. You're the best girlfriend ever." Shantae said, leaning forward to the bird trainer, giving her a kiss on the cheek.
Sky, in response, blushes furiously by the kiss. "Heh heh…Well, if there's anyone that I care about most, it's you, girl."
"Right." Shantae said, putting both of her arms behind her back. "So…should we get going right now?"
"Let's," Sky said. Both of them walk out of the port and into the town when they were stopped by a familiar fighter in front of them.
"Whoa! Whoa! Hey, ladies!" Sonic said, being greeted by the two at the gate.
Shantae sighs at the sight of the hedgehog in front of the couple. "What do you want, Sonic?"
"Oh, just nothing. I'm just seeing some sort of action going on here, you might say." Sonic chuckles, crossing his arms.
"Grow the hell up, hedgehog. We're not that intimate!" Shantae exclaimed. "Besides, if you don't mind, we have an adventure to get ready for."
"Oh? What kind of adventure? Two ladies dancing through the danger?" Sonic asked, laughing a little louder.
"Grrrr…." Shantae growls, readying to power up her fist, to punch Sonic. However, Sky interrupts, stopping Shantae's hand, and speaks to her.
"Um, Shantae, let me handle this." Sky said, beginning to talk towards Sonic. "Hey, there, hedgehog. I hope you don't mind, but we could really use your help on our quest. Mind if you can join us? It would mean it for me and Shantae."
"WHAT?!" Both Shantae and Sonic exclaimed, shocked. The purple-haired hero grabs her girlfriend's arm and pulls her closer.
"Sky…what are you doing? You know I can't stand him." Shantae whispered.
"Come on, Shantae. We need all the help for this quest. You know I'm going with you even though I'm not a fighter in this competition, but we need help. Plus, you two do need to learn how to get along with each other. You're both acting like dumb children." Sky said, crossing her arms together.
"It's not my fault he's an immature 15 year old hedgehog." Shantae rebutted.
"Really? Back at home, we have someone like him and she's your friend as well." Sky reminded her girlfriend.
"Oh no…" Shantae begins to whine.
"Uh-huh. Rottytops. Come on, Shantae. Even though she does mischievous deeds with you, you still have her as an ally and took down Risky Boots with her. We're doing it again, this time with Sonic, so can you please team up with him?" Sky asked, setting a warning tone to Shantae.
"Hey, what are you two talking about?" Sonic asked.
Shantae thinks for a moment while her girlfriend gives a serious glare at her while her hands on her hips.
"Well…your decision, Shantae?" Sky asked, with a rising tone.
Shantae ends her thinking, as she finally gives out an answer. "Ughhh…fine! But I better not see any immature pranks from you, hedgehog! We're saving our friend, and it's the time for serious action! Understand?"
"Oh, I understand, genie. Just show me the way and I can put out my awesome skills on this adventure!" Sonic said, as he dashed away from the two girls.
Shantae turns around at her girlfriend, with an irritable expression on her face, staring at her.
"You'll thank me for this. I'm your girlfriend, you know." Sky said, as she begins to walk again in Sonic's direction.
"You owe me big time, Sky." Shantae muttered. "Big time."
Toad Town
The group of kids, and Kirby, walk down the not-so busy streets of the town. They were surprised as to why it looked quiet upon the princess' disappearance.
"Wow, it sure isn't busy around here. Not even Mario either." Ness said.
I wonder where they're at." Lucas said, looking around the town.
"In any case, we have to look for some clues and figure out where we should go first in order to rescue a star spirit." Shelley said.
The group looks around to find the best place as an option to start. Aqua looks up and notices the tall building in front of them. "Hey, what's that? What's with the tall building?" The blue inkling boy points to the tall building in front of them.
Everyone looks at what Aqua is pointing at, noticing the large "Nintendo" building in front of them. "What is that?" Ness asked.
"What's Nintendo?" Lucas asked.
"I'm not even sure…why is that here?" Shelley asked.
"That place might have shown up when we arrived here. Maybe we'll see what that's about later, I'm not sure that's a concern for now." Ness said.
"Ness is right. Let's keep looking around and see what else we could get a clue at." Shelley said.
The group continued to walk into the town until they stopped at a location, a building with a Pokeball symbol, front and center. Lucas takes a look at the sign next to the building as it reads, "Mushroom Kingdom Pokemon Center."
"Pokemon Center…wait a minute!" Lucas snapped. Everyone takes a quick look at Lucas at what he has to say.
"What is it, Lucas?" Shelley asked.
"Guys, this is a Pokemon Center! Red told me about these! Maybe we can ask the nurse inside and see if she knows anything!" Lucas responded.
"Great idea, Lucas. Maybe I can get a Pokemon of my own. Meeting with Red feels like I want to become a Pokemon Trainer." Ness said, as the entire group headed inside the building.
Inside the building, a pink haired nurse wearing white overalls and pink outfit turns her head around noticing the group of kids inside of the building. "Oh, visitors! Welcome to the Pokemon Center! How can we help you?"
"Hi, mam! We were just wondering…do you know anything about Star Spirits?" Ness asked. The nurse gives out a blank stare at Ness which she slowly responds, "Star Spirits?"
"Yes…" Ness said.
The quiet moment of silence begins to become intense, with Ness begins to grow a connecting look on his face. Seconds later…
"Of course I do! You kids are going on an adventure, right?" The nurse happily asked, clapping her hands together.
The group of kids stare blankly at the happy Pokemon nurse. "My name is Nurse Joy. I'm a nurse who takes care of all Pokemon! I've been recently looking at the news, and I'm sure everyone in the Mushroom Kingdom is aware of the Princess' disappearance."
"Yes. That's why we're here. We're adventuring throughout the world and see if we can figure out who's been causing the disappearance." Ness explained. "Our friends told us about Star Spirits also being stolen too. Do you have any info on it?"
"Well…I'm glad you kids came to me to ask an important question like this. I've heard of one place that you could check into within the Mushroom World." Nurse Joy said.
"What is it?" Shelley asked.
Nurse Joy speaks out an answer of where the kids will go. "Shiver Mountain."
"Shiver Mountain?" Lucas asked.
"Yes. This place is known to have a Star Spirit protected by an evil king made of crystals of ice. Recently, two kids in blue and red parkas went to investigate if this evil king rose from the dead." Nurse Joy explained.
"Red and Blue parkas?" Aqua said in confusion, putting his head into thought.
"Popo and Nana!" Ness snapped.
"Who?" Shelley asked.
"Popo and Nana, known as the Ice Climbers! They're actually here in the Mushroom World as well! They're also friends of ours in the Smash Tournaments. I'm not really sure what happened to them previously." Ness explained.
"Oh? You know those fellas? IF you know them and you're heading towards the mountain, it would be good if you catch up to them. All you have to do is head up north of the town and you'll be at Shiver City, full of residents in cabins."
"Thanks! Well, before we head out, do you mind if we can borrow some Pokemon here as well?" Ness asked.
"Oh, sure! Some of these Pokemon don't belong to trainers themselves, so we're doing our best to give them out to helpful trainers." Nurse Joy said.
"Sweet! I get a Pokemon!" Aqua said excitedly as he dashed forward to the pen of Pokemon. Many of them feature a Jigglypuff, Treecko, Cyndaquil, Oshawott, and a Grookey.
"Ooh. This Pokemon looks cute! But has gigantic eyes for my eyesight to see." Aqua said, holding up Jigglypuff with its arms.
Ness walks over to Aqua noticing the Pokemon in his use. "Hmmm….I wonder if it's the same Jigglypuff we've been fighting against previously. Seems like Master Hand always summons these wild Jigglypuffs for us to fight."
The young boy looks into the Pokemon pen and notices Grookey making a smile on his face directly to Ness.
"Hey, Ness, bud. I think this Pokemon likes you, apparently." Aqua giggled.
"This green one? I'm not even sure what it's called." Ness said, holding it up to his arms.
"That's a Grookey. It's a newly discovered Pokemon from the Galar region." Nurse Joy said. "It does have a liking for you. Why don't you take it? I'm sure you'll be a great friend to it." Nurse Joy said.
"You think so?" Ness asked, looking down at Grookey making a small cute sound shouting its name. "Aw, he's so adorable. I wish Paula could see this Pokemon."
"Wait, Ness, are you and her…an item?" Lucas asked.
Ness blushes intensively across his face by the mention of his…friend. "Oh, her? Um…she might have said that she…loves me." Ness said, with a shy attitude, along with scratching the back of his head.
Lucas gasps, squealing in excitement at his best friend. "AHHH! You got a girlfriend! MY best friend Ness has a girlfriend!" Lucas teases the psychic boy while singing a little jingle.
Embarrassed by that, Ness quickly covers Lucas's mouth with his hand. "Okay! Yes, Paula's my girlfriend. Just keep it down! I don't want any other fighters to know of my relationship with her!" Ness whispers as he proceeds to take his hand off his psychic friend.
"But, Ness. It's great! You've been waiting for a while for PAula to date you. We should be very pleased with you dating her!" Lucas said.
"Thanks, but please let's keep it shut for now, okay? We're getting a little off-topic here." Ness begins to raise his voice back to normal. "Nurse Joy, I like to have this Pokemon!"
"Oh, sure! Oh, before I forget, let me give this to you." Nurse Joy bends down from behind her desk picking up a device to give to Ness. "This is a Pokedex. Pokemon Trainers use them to scan their Pokemon and gather some info on it. You should see what moves your Grookey has."
Ness takes the Pokedex and scans his Grookey with a robotic female voice coming out of the device. "Grookey, the chimp Pokemon. When it uses its special stick to strike up a beat, the sound waves produced carry revitalizing energy to the plants and flowers in the area."
"It uses a stick? Huh, and I thought I'm the only one out of the tournament who uses a stick as a weapon." Lucas said.
"And how about you, young boy? Did you find your Pokemon as well?" Nurse Joy asked, turning her head towards Aqua.
"Oh, me?" Aqua questioned. "Um, yes. I'll take this…?" He whispers over to Ness. "What's the Pokemon, again?"
"Jigglypuff." Ness whispers back.
"This Jigglypuff!" Aqua answers back to Nurse Joy.
"Oh, well, here's your Pokedex." Nurse Joy hands over the Pokedex device to Aqua.
The blue Inkling Boy turns it on and scans his Jigglypuff with a male robotic voice coming out of the device. "Jigglypuff, the Balloon Pokemon. Jigglypuff has top-notch lung capacity, even by comparison to other Pokémon. It won't stop singing its lullabies until its foes fall asleep.
"Heh, maybe I should show this Pokemon to Callie and MArie. MAybe they'll want it for their concerts!" Aqua giggled.
"Actually, you shouldn't." Lucas said.
"Why not? Shelly asked.
"You'll see why once she starts singing." Ness said.
"Oh, you two. You don't have a Pokemon, do you? You sure you don't want to be Pokemon Trainers?" Nurse Joy asks both Shelly and Lucas.
Both of them nod their heads sideways. "No. I think we'll both do fine. Thanks though!" Shelly smiles.
"Oh, and kids, one more thing before you go out. You've already seen it, but there is a building here in town that has 'Nintendo' on it." Nurse Joy said.
"Oh! We saw that building! Do you know anything about it?" Shelly asked.
"Actually, not by too much. But my own instincts tell me that they're a game company. Some trainers in our world mention they have various game consoles made by that company, and there's even a company in our world that makes Pokemon games too, so all I could say is that we're probably video game characters, being viewed by the public." Nurse Joy explained.
That really got the kids' mind into thinking. "Video game characters? Is that what my life is based on? A kid on a plastic television?" Ness thought.
"Wait, our world is a video game as well? Do we just spray ink all over the place in front of an audience?" Shelley asks in her mind.
"Huh. That's a very interesting thought. Well, we'll keep that in mind. Thanks Nurse Joy!" Aqua said, as the group of kids head out of the Pokemon Center.
"Wait! Also, please keep this in your inventory." Nurse Joy holds out a gray tiny robot on the counter. "I'm sure you might know what this is."
"R.O.B." Ness whispers out.
"Yes. As proof of showing Nintendo hardware, I kept this onto my disposal and figured you kids could hold onto him. Maybe there's something you could do with him." Nurse Joy holds onto the toy robot.
"I don't believe it. He's been reverted to a toy somehow." Ness inspected the toy.
"Looks like we have to take him in order to figure out what happened." Lucas said.
"Legend says that after some time, he'll revert back into himself when time is truly needed for his appearance." Nurse Joy said. "I want you all to be careful with this on your disposal now. Please save him and the Mushroom Kingdom."
"Got it. Thanks, Nurse Joy!" Ness nodded, as the kids (for real) walk out of the center this time, leaving Nurse Joy to herself.
"Please, stay safe…the kids of Super Smash Bros." Nurse Joy thought, as she continued to watch the news with the kids out of her sight.
Pipeline Central
Red and Leaf, are riding on their Charizards in the sky, along with Mario and his friends on various types of Flying-type Pokemon: Mario on Noivern, Luigi on Aerodactyl, Daisy on Dragonite, Pit on Talonflame, and the Toads on different Staraptors.
It's a quick flight to the stadium, but surely enough, they are right near it. Luigi has his eyes in a squint and his hand on his forehead to take a closer look through the sea of clouds. "Wait…I think that's it! That's the stadium."
"Then let's head down there. Wario must be waiting for us." Mario said.
Daisy turns over to her boyfriend. "Hey, Weegee, remember to cheer for me on, okay?"
Luigi begins to smile at his girlfriend. Even in a very attractive outfit like that, he could still have his eyes glued on to her, but all the way, he supports her best. "Yes, Daisy. I love you."
"I love you too." Daisy smiled. Everyone flies down to the stadium with Mushroom Kingdom citizens making their way down there.
The Palace (8 Years Ago)
Today was the day of a new sport that the Mario cast gets their new skills at, Soccer (Football). But, as Mario and Peach were discussing the creation of the sport, they decided to call it, "Strikers."
The Strikers tournament lasted for a few months, but it was definitely a heated competition. One was with the matchup between Daisy and Luigi's teams.
Yes, the matchup between boyfriend and girlfriend. As far Luigi remembers it, it's a memorable time, but it's also something that he doesn't want to do often, since he's facing his girlfriend, and he loves her dearly.
"And now, ladies and gentlemen, it's now time for the match of Mario's brother, Luigi, and the competitive princess of Sarasaland, Princess Daisy!" Toad announced.
Luigi walks out of one side of the stadium with his sports attire, a sports shirt with green on the front, blue on the back, blue shorts, and green and blue sneakers. He walks in a neutral position, not too excited to battle against his girlfriend. His teammates are a Koopa Troopa, a Green Toad, and a Green Birdo.
As for Daisy, she runs out excitedly waving to the entire audience, thanking them for her presence. Daisy's sports attire is somewhat unique, she wears a two-piece orange sports outfit that reveals part of her stomach, and teal sneakers. Upon seeing Daisy's attire on the field, Luigi couldn't help, but blush a bit seeing how attractive she looks. Daisy's teammates are also the same as Luigi, but instead, a Koopa Troopa with an orange shell, an orange Toad, and an orange Birdo.
The two now meet each other a few feet away. "Hey, sweetie! Just know, I expect for you to be a fierce man during this match, give me the best shot you got!"
Luigi chuckles a little, but then gulps a bit afterwards without Daisy noticing his worriedness of how he's going to face her. Then, the loud horn begins to air throughout the stadium, signaling the start of the match.
The match, however, wasn't how Daisy wanted to expect from her man. Throughout the match, she and her teammates were able to make easy passes to each other, and she was able to score a lot into Luigi's goalie. Some people in the audience were even questioning why Luigi has been making it such an easy match for her.
By the end of 10 minutes that the Strikers match was given, it was over for both of them. "And there you have it, folks, with an easy 0-10 score between both teams, Princess Daisy leads her way into victory and Luigi easily loses the match!"
Both teams exit the stadium, and Luigi knew that he was going to have a chat with his girlfriend later about his behavior during the match.
Later…
Both Luigi and Daisy meet each alone in the locker room. "You and I need to talk." Daisy said, crossing her arms.
"Yeah, I know. I know what I did out there today." Luigi said, in a disappointed tone, while not looking at his girlfriend. "I was supposed to give you a fair match."
"Yes, and instead, you just won the game for me. What happened out there, Weegee?" Daisy asked.
Luigi sighs, before he and Daisy sit down on a bench. "Okay…well…it's that…" Luigi then stops himself before Daisy allows him to continue.
"Come on, Weegee. Just please tell me, I'm your girlfriend, and I love you."
"Yeah, that's the thing. You're my girlfriend." Luigi answers. Daisy lets out a straight expression on her face awaiting what Luigi means in his explanation.
"I never thought we would be pitted like this. We're a couple and I just wasn't sure how both of us facing each other would affect us. I just didn't want to face you." Luigi explained.
"Sweetie, why didn't you tell me this before?" Daisy asked, putting her hand on her boyfriend's shoulder.
"Because I love you. I have loved you for the past few years, but I just never had the heart to tell you that I don't want to face you. This was the first time we pitted against each other, and I just didn't want to make things affect our relationship together." Luigi said.
With this explanation, Daisy gives out comfort to her boyfriend. "I get it. I love you too, but no matter what, our relationship will stay the same, even if we battle against each other. I will always love you, Weegee."
Luigi looks at his girlfriend and gives out a small smile on his face. "Really?"
"Really." Daisy leans over and kisses at her boyfriend's cheek, which he blushes by the action. The desert princess giggles at her boyfriend's reaction.
"Heh heh, thanks Daisy. I love you so much." Luigi said.
"Back at ya, baby. Now, why don't we watch the rest of the tournament together, and later, maybe we can tell Peach she can enter me into the next Smash tournament that you've always been participating in." Daisy said, resting her arm around her boyfriend's neck as the two watched the TV screen in the room.
To be continued…
Thanks for reading the chapter. It's by far the longest I've done, and I really hope you enjoyed it.
Initially, the match between Daisy and Wario was going to be shown here, but I'm going to save it for another chapter as a part of an upcoming chapter, which you'll see soon.
Yes, there's a bunch of fanservice in this chapter too. Peach and Daisy's uniforms in the first 2 strikers games are the fanservice of the spinoffs, though being the Daisy simp I am, I'd love to have that outfit in Smash, like with the two-piece ZSS has.
Shantae is obviously explainable with its own of fanservice. Though, despite fanservice, she's one of my dream characters since I can tell she has a lot of potential for a moveset. I'm sure many of you are looking forward to the team up between the two of them and Sky heading down to the lava island to save Harmony.
Please look forward to the next chapter and I'll see you guys next time. Feel free to review and favorite if you enjoy it.
