In the meantime, here's some brief info on Hero of Konoha

As you may already know, though I will be primary writer of the story,I won't be doing it alone,as these two individuals have offered and accepted to be my co-writers;

I cannot express my gratitude towards them enough,as they have been very helpful in ensuring that this story comes to life.

Though this doesn't mean that I'm not open to suggestions from readers, these two will serve as my primary form of consultation whenever I'm working on Hero of Konoha,as I trust their knowledge and passion of both Ben 10 and Naruto greatly.

Along with them,I must also credit MiniTennyson for some of his suggestions, and for making the official cover for the story, of which you'll all see tomorrow.

He's been a great help not just with Hero of Konoha, but with my other works, and I will forever be grateful.

Now,to answer some questions I believe you may all have about the story. Though,I cannot possibly account for every possible question,so I'll limit my answers to 10,of which I will do my best to give adequate responses:

Question 1: What is the focus of Hero of Konoha?

To put it simply, the story resolves around Ben,as it follows his journey to become the 'Hero of Konoha'. This effectively makes it Ben's story,as it will follow him from the moment of his birth up to the moment his goal is finally realized.

Another key part of the story is the friendship between Ben and Naruto,as it will receive equal levels of importance as Ben's own personal journey. The origin of their friendship and the basis of how it plays out will be explored in the story.

Something to note is that both characters are so crucial to one another in achieving their respective goals, even chapters that are dedicated to solely one of them will move often than not, feature the other in a significant form.

Question 2: What characters from Ben 10 (Heroes and Villains) will appear?

Aside from obvious guesses such as Ben's parents,Gwen,her parents and Grandpa Max, characters such as Kevin and even Vilgax will appear in the story, just to name a few.

Though you may already be able to guess what their role in the story will be, I won't divulge that information for spoiler reasons, and would much rather have you see the answers for yourselves in due time.

And though i can't divulge any more of the Ben 10 cast that will appear in the story for that exact reason,i can tell you this; if the character is significant enough in terms of popularity and the overall opinion the fanbase has on them, it's almost guaranteed that they'll appear. It also opens the door to obscure characters making an appearance as well.

Question 3: Will you adapt story arcs and plotlines from Ben 10 in the story? If so how much of them will you adapt?

Yes i will, but not all. I cannot divulge how much i will adapt, but i can say this;

This story will often tread familiar ground from the classic continuity of Ben 10; from the original series up to Omniverse. This means that the more significant the story arc and the plot point is, the more likely it is to be adapted

Question 4: How will Ben be characterized?

Ben's characterization will be based on his personality across all five series in some way depending on what point of the story he's in.

Question 5: Why does Ben still have the Omnitrix in this story? Can he not use hand signs or transformation justu instead?

Yes, either of the two could serve as substitutes for the Omnitrix, but that is also the very reason why I chose not to use them. They'd be substitutes for the original source of Ben's power,of which I myself don't feel is a necessary compromise to make.

My reasons being as follows;

I) The Omnitrix is the most synonymous thing of Ben 10 itself along with Ben as the protagonist. And because of the Omnitrix is so significant with the identity of the Ben 10 franchise as a whole, excluding it from a story that involves Ben 10 would feel very off, even for a casual fan of the franchise, especially if the basis of the story isn't made better by it's exclusion.

II) This is heavily tied to the first reason I gave. This story is a tribute/ celebration of both Ben 10 and Naruto. The very reason why I sought out for co-writers is because I want to ensure that I'm able to do the Naruto side of things justice as although the franchise played a significant part in me becoming an anime fan(It's the first anime I ever watched), Ben 10 was quite literally my childhood, and is also the biggest reason why I love the superhero genre as a whole.

I know how passionate the Naruto fanbase is, and how much it's resonated with people, and as a result,i wouldn't want to do anything to discredit or disrespect the franchise,nor would I want to make any changes to it that aren't crucial in the grand scheme of things, The same goes for Ben 10.

Question 6: How much of Naruto canon will be affected as a result of Ben's inclusion?

Quite a lot actually. To give you an idea, some characters that died in canon will survive, and some plot points and story beats will play out differently as a result. All of which i can assure will have a purpose behind it.

Question 7: Will filler arcs and the Naruto movies be part of the story?

Filler arcs,yes, but not all. The first three Naruto movies from Part 1 will be included. However, they will all experience alterations to their basic structure and execution in order to better fit with the overall story.

Question 8: Will you also adapt the events of Shippuden in the story?

Ideally yes. I've even started discussing with SilverWolf1130 on some potential story beats and arcs for the Shippuden based part of the story. Realistically,it depends on if the story is able to successfully adapt the events of Naruto Part 1.

To which i also want to add this,i cannot confidently say that this story will not be discontinued in some shape or form in the future,as i don't know what the future may hold, only that i will do everything i can to ensure that it does get an ending.

But if that doesn't turn out to be the case,i will still ensure that what is written and published of the story is enough to resonate with you positively.

Question 9: Will you adapt the events of Boruto if you finish the events of Part 1 and Shippuden?

I can't say for certain if i will be able to complete Part 1 and Shippuden, only that i hope i am able to do so. However,if that does happen,i will do everything i can to ensure that a Boruto style continuation to Hero of Konoha is done if that is what readers desire.

Question 10: Have you decided on Ships?

Yes i have. Nearly all the canonical ships of both Ben 10 and Naruto will remain, with a few subject to change. The most significant change will be Ben. Both SilverWolf and i have decided on who will be Ben's primary love interest, but i will not disclose who that is.

The reason isn't that I'm not confident about the reception the love interest will get, but rather I want it to be surprise,as I'm sure it may be quite an unexpected pick. I'll give you two hints, she's tied to one of the questions I've answered, and she's a Naruto character.

An additional question i feel may be asked;

What does Hero of Konoha mean for your existing stories?

This is for those who fear that with the existence of Hero of Konoha i nay abandon some of my existing stories. I want to dispell any fears and doubts from your mind by sharing my plans with you.

I wish to add five more stories to this list. You already know the names of two of them:

Hero of Konoha.

Limit Break times 10.

The remaining three will hopefully drop before this year ends. All of which will include Ben 10 in some way.

The plan is to have these stories be my primary focus from the moment they're published up to their eventual conclusion. This means that i may only do one or two new stories by the time all 10 of them have been published, and it will remain as such until one of the has been completed.

In the next 3 years,i would like to gauge my progress with all 10 of these stories adequately. And though i will humbly admit that the possibilities both unnerve and excite me,i am confident that with your support, the outcome will be worth it in the end.
