Isabeau sweated as she felt an indescribable feeling as her eyes locked with her signer dragon.
"I activate the effect of Black Rose Dragon destroying every card on the field! But since I have my Ritual Cage Garlandolf will be safe though my spell will be destroyed!", Kaga said.
"It's that kind of effect?!", Isabeau questioned, more bothered by the nature of the effect than that effect itself and what it implied.
She looked down feeling extremely bothered by it.
"Stardust Dragon's seems to represent Flynn's kindness and protecting nature. It's reoccurrence being his perseverance, but tributing itself shows he always seems to figuratively sacrifice himself for others. Jonathan's Power Tool Dragon relies on the fates leaving everything on the whims of God. It shows his true unwavering faith that justice is on his side. Red Dragon Archfiend obviously represents Walter's reckless and aggressive tendencies. It can be a major boon or end up backfiring. So…what does Black Rose Dragon say about me…? A dragon that destroys everything?", Isabeau thought.
The wind around Black Rose Dragon became more intense as petals swirled around it and it roared. Buildings around them had deep cuts carved into them effortlessly by the petals like a knife through butter. Kaga wasn't using any of her full ritual magic, this was just Black Rose Dragon alone. Isabeau raised up her arms to guard, forming a barrier around her with her powers.
"You think that will be enough?", Kaga questioned.
All her monsters and her facedown were easily torn through like sheets of paper. Her barrier was just barely holding up against it. Kaga's cards were annihilated as well except her ritual monster. The signer dragon even destroyed itself to destroy everything. It was the polar opposite of Stardust Dragon.
Her barrier could no longer hold back the pressure completely shattering before she was sent flying back. She winced as she impacted the ground harshly thankfully avoiding hitting her head. When the barrier was shattered she got lightly cut by the edges of the petals. Isabeau staggered as she tried to sit up only to see Kaga and her ritual monster looking down at her.
"Garlandolf attack her directly!", Kaga declared.
The monster raised its hand to her releasing a shockwave that sent her flying again.

Isabeau winced as she was sent down again.
"Looks like I got what I want. You look so pathetic down in the dirt.", Kaga said.
A call from Isabeau's gauntlet drew their attention and Kaga smirked. She grabbed Isabeau's arm which had her gauntlet aiming towards her before accepting the message.
"Isa-", Jonathan was saying before his eyes widened in shock on the screen.
"Right, you should be panicked because it's only going to get worse for you, bible thumping bastards.", Kaga said.
"W-what?! Why do you have Isabeau's gauntlet? What happened to her?!", Jonathan questioned, with visible concern and anger.
Kaga angled the gauntlet down to show Isabeau in pain on the ground.
"I have a message to all you Samurai bastards who dared to cross the Ring of Gaea. None of you are safe from us. Every time we see you we'll beat you to submission or worse. But, defeating you alone is not satisfying enough. Everyone in Tokyo has to see your humiliation as an example. A week from now the preliminaries for the Hunter Tournament will start. You best be there or we'll simply have to string up your bodies as proof to all in Tokyo instead.", Kaga said, before turning off Isabeau's gauntlet.
She walked away leaving Isabeau there. Jonathan panicked as the call cut off, desperately trying to find Isabeau.

"I end my turn. Hah! Try beating this! Let's see if your worthy of sharing the same blood as Master!", Samurai Skull said as Flynn's eyes widened.
"The same blood…then the one who sent you is my uncle sir Keith?", Flynn replied.
"He is the strongest of all zombie users! He beat me so bad I switched to zombies!", Samurai Skull replied as Flynn looked confused.
"Aren't you a zombie type spirit though?", Flynn questioned.
"I was not always a zombie. You see…I was once a Samurai of Mikado like you!", Samurai Skull revealed.
"W-what?! You were among our number?!", Flynn questioned.
"Right…I was sent after Master Keith by those damned angels. Then, he defeated me and sent my severed head as a warning to the Samurai. That's probably why when I was reborn I was only a severed head.", Samurai Skull explained.
"Then why are you following him? That sounds awful.", Flynn replied, growing sympathetic.
"What are you saying?! I could never cross Master Keith! He already left my past life as a severed head as a warning clearly fighting him will only result in something similar or worse!", Samurai Skull replied.
"You follow him because you're frightened…I see. I draw!", Flynn replied.

"Kindness is not hereditary. It's something that must be nurtured.", Mezuki replied.

This made Samurai Skull very nervous.
"I will attack you with Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon! Inferno Necro Blast!", Flynn declared.
"Kyah!!!", Samurai Skull screamed as he was enveloped with azure flames.

"I activate the effect of Red-Eyes allowing me to special summon a zombie monster he destroys! Dragonic Domination!", Flynn said.
"W-what?!", Samurai Skull questioned.
"I will attack Ryu Kokki with Goku En! Azure Inferno!", Flynn said as the two monsters clashed destroying each other.
"Then, I will attack you directly with yourself!", Flynn declared as Samurai Skull squealed.

"Then, I end my turn.", Flynn said.
"Why y-you…I d-draw!", Samurai Skull said, sounding frightened as he imagined his Master overlapping with Flynn's image.

"I activate Scrap-Iron Scarecrow. It negates your attack and then sets itself.", Flynn countered.
"Fine then! I end my turn.", Samurai Skull replied.
"You do not have to serve your killer, Samurai Skull! You can liberate yourself if you have courage! I draw!", Flynn said as a fierce wind kicked up from his draw and Plaguespreader cheered.

"It's you isn't it?", Zombie Master questioned Plaguespreader as he sweat dropped.
"I summon Plaguespreader Zombie.", Flynn said.

"Yay! I get to help Lord Flynn again!", Plaguespreader cheered.
"I will tune Plaguespreader Zombie with you! From the dark depths of the grave arise, great dragon noble even in death! Your dreadful roar signals your enemies doom! Synchro summon! Level 6! Doomkaiser Dragon!", Flynn chanted.
"Here he comes!", Zombie Master said.
The spirits noticed the intense bright and positive aura was actually coming from Doomkaiser greatly surprising them. Doomkaiser looked over to Flynn before facing Samurai Skull. Flynn looked confused at the gesture.
"Huh? I feel that electricity again…this feeling pushing back the darkness. Has it been Doomkaiser all along.", Flynn thought.
The zombie dragon let out a happy noise seeing Flynn was alright right now.
"So, what exactly is Doomkaiser doing? He doesn't possess such power. But…didn't it increase from us too?", Zombie Master questioned.
"From what I've seen I don't believe it's any sort of special power at all. It's simply strong positive feelings, but feelings have their own power.", Ha Des said as he appeared.
"W-what all of that energy has been generated from feelings alone?! But there's so much of it! There's no way you can all support one person that much!", Samurai Skull questioned.
"Of course we can, Lord Flynn is so kind he'll be the greatest Lord!", Plaguespreader replied.
"There's no way…how can one person command such loyalty without fear?", Samurai Skull questioned.
"I will show you our power! I activate the effect of Doomkaiser! It allows me to special summon a zombie monster from your graveyard! I choose you! Roar of the Living Dead!", Flynn said.
Doomkaiser let out a powerful roar and Samurai Skull looked stunned. He found himself forced over to Flynn's side once more with his eyes glowing purple.
"I activate the effect of Plaguespreader Zombie allowing me to special summon it from the graveyard in exchange for sending a card from my hand to the top of my deck.", Flynn said.

"I tune Plaguespreader Zombie with you once more! Ruler of darkness slumbering within the depths! Rise up once more to reclaim your kingdom! Synchro summon! Level 6! Revived King Ha Des!", Flynn chanted.
Ha Des smirked as he was summoned onto Flynn's field. Samurai Skull looked stunned at the overwhelming power on display.
"I shall attack you directly with Doomkaiser Dragon! Death Spectral Howling!", Flynn declared.
"No way!!!!", Samurai Skull said as he was enveloped by flames.

"I walk the path of a true duelist. Taking the very essence of others by force is for cowards. My allies willingly support me with that strength we can topple any opponent.", Flynn said.
Samurai Skull fell off the Hunters head. To their shock, severing the Hunters head was a mere trick as the Hunters head was still on his shoulders. He groaned as he held his head.
"It was simply an illusion then. That coward conjured that head to intimidate our Lord.", Mezuki said.
Flynn held up the shaking Samurai Skull. Intense fear built within the spirit wondering what Flynn would do to him. To its shock Flynn smiled, making him confused. His smile gave off a comforting feeling that completely perplexed the spirit. In its life as a spirit it's never felt such warmth.
"I'm glad that was merely a trick. It seems you aren't as vile as I thought. Now, where is sir Keith? He will not get away with the suffering he's inflicted on you and many others.", Flynn said.
With Jonathan…
Jonathan had found Walter and Navarre searching for Isabeau. After a while they finally found her limping quickly going to her. Jonathan quickly healed her, Navarre looked nervous and Walter growled.
"That Ring bitch…", Walter growled.
Navarre tried to calm him down with a hand on his shoulder. He looked over, noticing Jonathan's shoulders shaking intensely.
"Kaga will not get away with this…!", Jonathan said in an enraged tone.
"Don't worry it could have been worse. I'm more worried about Flynn he's in the real danger right now.", Isabeau said.
"What happened to him anyway? How did you guys get separated?", Navarre questioned.
Isabeau then explained everything that happened leading up to her duel with Kaga.
"W-what?!", Walter questioned, after remembering Ys' prediction.
"We have to get to Flynn quickly!", Isabeau said.
With Flynn…
"I don't get it. Why do you care?", Samurai Skull questioned.
"Because when I see injustice I must do something to stop it.", Flynn replied simply.
Tears started falling from Samurai Skull's eyes.
From Mikado looking through some sort of conjured visual Keith growled. His nephew had bested him yet again.
"No wonder that old bastard actually likes him…he's just as much of a pain in the ass to get rid of as he is.", Keith said.
"I've decided…can you be my Master instead?", Samurai Skull asked and Flynn looked surprised.
Flynn felt the spirit was shaking in his arms. For his entire life as a spirit he's lived in constant fear of the one who created him and killed his previous self. It must have been truly miserable. Flynn rubbed the spirit's head comfortingly.
"Of course. It's alright now. You don't have to live in fear anymore.", Flynn replied.
The spirit handed him a card using his mouth. It was the card Samurai Skull.

"Does that mean…new friend?", Plaguespreader questioned.
Now, Keith was downright furious.
"You will regret this you little shit…", Keith cursed.
Flynn looked down at his gauntlet when he suddenly got a call of his gauntlet. He accepted the call moving Samurai Skull in his arms.
"Jonathan, did you find something already?", Flynn questioned.
"Where have you been?!", Jonathan questioned, surprising Flynn.
"Your alright?!", Isabeau questioned.
Flynn then explained to them everything that happened after he ran from Isabeau.
"Thank goodness…", Isabeau said, taking a sigh of relief.
"I'm very sorry for running off like that. I wasn't in my right state of mind. Did something happen though? Isabeau…your clothes are torn.", Flynn apologized.
"It was Kaga. She attacked Isabeau.", Jonathan replied.
Flynn froze as he felt an intense rage bubbling inside him. Samurai Skull looked scared now as the black aura briefly flared around Flynn. The other spirits looked very concerned.
"What…?", Flynn questioned, in a low tone.
"We're going to beat her ass. She's challenged all of us to participate in this thing called the Hunter Tournament in a week.", Walter said.
"She will not get away with this…we'll just have to show her and all our other enemies the power of the Samurai.", Flynn replied.
Eventually the prentices met back up with Samurai Skull staying with his other zombie spirits.
"From what we've been able to find out, apparently it's a team competition this year. Apparently they just suddenly made this change this year. Why would they do that though?", Jonathan said.
"There must be someone who's hosting it who wants to beat all of us at once. Not just the Ring of Gaea.", Isabeau said.
"We'll find out what we can. During the tournament we'll have to keep our guard up.", Flynn said.
"Perhaps the Asura Kai could be involved? They don't like us either.", Navarre suggested.
"That's a possibility.", Flynn replied.
"Yeah…though apparently we need a team name. What exactly should we call ourselves? I mean everyone knows us as the Samurai, but that's way too basic.", Walter questioned.
"Crimson Samurai?", Jonathan suggested.
"We're wearing blue.", Walter replied.
"Because the Crimson Dragon.", Jonathan explained.
"We're not all signers though.", Navarre replied.
"Doom Samurai.", Flynn said, with a deadpan expression.
"That sounds like a villain team!", Navarre replied, incredulously.
"How about Draco Samurai?", Walter questioned.
"We don't all have dragons…", Isabeau replied with a funny look.
"Oh yeah…", Walter replied, sweat dropping.
"We'll work on it.", Navarre said.
"Though the more important question is what we should do in the meantime? How long is an entire Tokyo week to Mikado?", Flynn questioned.
"Almost two years…", Jonathan replied.
"It gives us plenty of time to train if we stay there.", Navarre replied.
"Two years is a lot of time to be away from our mission though.", Isabeau replied.
"Besides this is just the preliminaries, the finals are a week after that. If we stay in Mikado we'll age a bunch.", Walter replied.
"We'd age about 4 years in between the preliminaries and the finals if we stayed in Mikado.", Jonathan replied.
"Isabeau's right that's a long time to be gone from a mission.", Flynn replied, frowning.
4 whole years was a lot of time to lose in Mikado. They lose enough time in Mikado every hour they spend here. Though he thought about everyone still back at Mikado. They all had someone waiting for them.
"Perhaps we could alternate between being in Mikado and Tokyo? That would allow us to see our loved ones without it being like we've simply been gone for 4 years. If you guys don't like that it's fine. I won't force you to lose 4 years with your loved ones.", Flynn said.
"It's a difficult decision to make…even just the minutes we spend thinking about it here loses so much time…", Jonathan said.
"I will stay here. I don't have much to go back to.", Walter said.
"What about your parents?", Flynn questioned.
"We were never close.", Walter replied, before Flynn walked over to him grabbing hold of his hands.
"But, you never know how much time you'll have left with them. You should do so while you still have time.", Flynn said, before lowering his head and Walter looked awkward.
"Oh that's right…I'm sorry Flynn. I probably sound like an ass right now.", Walter replied.
"We don't know how long we'll be in Tokyo. Best case scenario everything ends in two weeks in Tokyo time. Worst case…who knows how long…", Flynn replied.
"I suppose you will go to see your grandfather then?", Isabeau said and Flynn nodded.
Damien was strong, but he couldn't beat time. He was getting older and older. Flynn was worried he might not be around in 4 years. He…didn't want to miss the opportunity to spend time with one of his last living relatives. He didn't even know of him for so much of his life. This time he didn't want to waste the little time he had like he did with his parents…
"They died because I was too weak to save them. I have to find a way to become stronger without becoming a devil. I want to protect everyone…", Flynn thought.
