Sinking Fast-Ch 14

When Derek walked out of the shower and stepped out into the adjoining bedroom he smiled as he saw his clothes laying out on the bed in front of him. He smiled and said, "thanks guys" as he then started putting his clothes on and a few minutes later as he was tying his shoes he heard a knock on the door.

He looked up and said, "come in", the door opened to reveal Penelope, she stepped inside and said, "I don't know about you but that shower helped a lottttttttt". Derek grinned and said, "I hear ya there, I feel so much better, it's like I haven't been up for almost 36 hours", she stepped closer and leaned in and kissed his lips gently and when she pulled apart she said, "are you ready to go get our friends back"?, he winked and said, "let's get this party started".

JJ and Emily looked up from their coffee and donut and Emily said, "welllllll you two look like you feel better now"?, Penelope said, "you have nooooooooo idea how good it feels to be clean again". JJ said, "have some coffee and a donut and then we'll head out", Derek and Penelope nodded their heads as they reached for their coffee and donut.

Dave looked up at Hotch started going over the plan one final time, everything had to work out perfectly or it's hard to tell what would happen" and Derek said, "did you talk to the head of security"?, he said, "yes, he is meeting us in the security lab in less than an hour so we better get a move on".

Derek and Penelope tossed their trash into the garbage can and then walked over and stood with the others, Derek said, "alright, let's get this show on the road, we've got people to save and an unsub to bring down". JJ and Emily looked at each other and rolled their eyes and Derek said, "heyyyyyyyyy, be nice to me, you have no idea what we've been through over the past 24 hours".

JJ said, "sorry Morgan, sorry, you're right we can't imagine what you've been through, it's a miracle that you're still alive", Derek said, "for a few minutes I thought that I was a goner and if it hadn't been for baby girl here I would have been". Penelope smiled at him and said, "the important thing is that we survived that and we will survive this and bring our friends back" and Derek grinned and then followed the others out of Penelopes apartment.

Marcie and Mark walk out of their bedroom and see Ricardo standing in front of the window looking out over the city, they walk over and he turns around and says, "it's about time the two of you got up, go grab a cup of coffee and eat whatever it is you eat and then let's get a move on".

They walked over to the kitchen and poured them selves a cup of coffee, they then grabbed something out of the cabinet and then walked over and sat down at the dining room table. Ricardo stood there watching them and when they were done he said, "alright, now that you're done let's go", they looked at each other and took big deep breaths as they headed out the front door.

As the slid into the car a few minutes later Ricardo said, "I'm sure that I don't have to tell you what will happen to the two of you if you don't do what you're suppose to do, right"?, Mark said, "we know what we are suppose to do and don't worry we won't do anything around you and your trigger happy thugs".

Ricardo laughed as the driver looked over his shoulder and said, "awwww, I'm hurt", Mark looked at his wife and then said, "don't worry Marcie everything will be okay, I won't let anything happen to you". She put her hand on his and said, "I love you", he said, "and I love you", Ricardo said, "awwwww isn't that sweet, now stop with that sweet talk before I get a cavity".

It wasn't long before they were pulling into the parking garage of the building Mark and Marcie owned, after the car was put in park Ricardo said, "alright then ladies and gentlemen let's head on up and get things started". Mark looked at Marcie and smiled, he knew that he would do anything it took to keep his wife safe and as they climbed out of the backseat of the car he hoped that Penelope and the head of security got the message that Marcie was able to send to the lastnight.

As they walked toward the elevator all Marcie could think about was her friend, was Penelope, she hoped and prayed that Penelope was safe and sound and had got her message. When the elevator doors opened Ricardo said, "alright it says you need a code, so let's get to putting in that code", Mark looked at Marcie and nodded his head as he then started the security protocol.

Meanwhile upstairs in the security lab Penelope said, "they're here, Mark just started the security protocol", Hotch said, "we're heading out, do what you can do Penelope and keep an eye out on the security monitors and if you see anything let us know", she nodded her head and said, "will do", she looked at Derek and said, "be careful", he winked at her and said, "always" and then she watched as Derek and her new friends turned around and walked out of the room, she then turned her attention to the computer and started doing what she did best.
