Steven's life began as a survivor in Sonic's World. Throughout the early years, Steven's heard stories about the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends, who he wanted to be like despite his own flaws. But one day, Chaos Control happens and this caused Steven to meet Sonic, his friends along with new friends who will guide him to be one of the greatest heroes in the world.

dbehi1: Eggman, you, Decoe, Bocoe, & Bokkun need to stop harming others, while you did help stop Perfect Chaos, it came at the cost of who knows how many people died in Station Square and the city in ruins, did you have any concern for how when you released Chaos he would betray you guys and try to get Steven and everybody else killed? And now because you misused your grandfather Gerald's research the world is going to be totalled because of your own stubbornness! I also think that you keep picking on others like Tails, Cream & Cheese, & Chris by trying to capture or kill them when you know they're just young kids who did nothing wrong to you, Eggman, Decoe, Bocoe, & Bokkun, you're also to blam for Gamma and his brothers being dead, and the fact that you got so many people even Sonic and Steven and their friends killed makes you 4 and the rest of Eggman's robots guilty of attempted murder, destruction, genocide, child abuse, kidnapping, and attempted framing. This is why after we deal with saving the world, you 4 are to be hereby banished/exiled from Station Square and never to return again, sooner or later your fights with Sonic and his friends are gonna get someone killed! You idiots! Don't you have any regret for your actions?

Gotta Go Fast (Sonic X Theme) by NateWantsToBattle

A flashback plays and shows many TVs turning on with the time limit 00:27:53:00 on them in the Central Control room of Space Colony ARK. Gerald Robotnik who was seen chained up in a chair in his cell on Prison Island was also suddenly seen on many other TVs along with the time limit ones. This caused Dr. Eggman to look shocked as he looked at the monitor. "It's... it's my Grandfather, Gerald Robotnik!" Dr. Eggman says.

On the Monitor that had Gerald Robotnik, Gerald spoke while looking still looking downwards. "The countdown marking the death sentence for every human being on Earth has..." Gerald says from the monitor.

Back with Mr. Tanaka, Amy, Tails, Chris and Knuckles, they were seen looking up as Gerald continued talking off screen. "...Begun" Gerald says from the monitor off screen. "What's that on the screen?" Knuckles asked. Suddenly, the entire Space Colony ARK begun to shake tremendously. This caught Mr. Tanaka, Amy, Tails, Chris and Knuckles by surprise. "What's that...that vibration?" Knuckles asked, "If my calculations are correct..." Gerald says from the monitor off screen before Mr. Tanaka, Amy, Tails, Chris and Knuckles look back at the monitor. "...Then in just 27 minutes and 53 seconds, you will all be destroyed along with your beloved Planet Earth. Soon the Space..." Gerald says from the monitor off screen.

Back at the Central Control room, Dr. Eggman, Decoe and Bocoe continued watching as Gerald continued talking from the monitor off screen. "... Colony Ark will hurtle through the atmosphere and..." Gerald says from the monitor off screen.

Back on the monitor, Gerald continued. "...impact the Earth with cataclysmic force!" Gerald says from the monitor.

At one of the TVs that had the time limit, the time limit has begun to countdown.

"Maria's Wish, Everyone's Wish" ("Showdown In Space")

At the Docking Bay of Space Colony ARK, a Space Shuttle was seen with its door opened. "Aww, you were worried about me, Topaz?" Rouge asked off screen.

Inside the Space Shuttle, Rouge was seen typing on a keypad. "The way our transmission..." Topaz says from the radio off screen before Rouge types to the right. "That..." Topaz says from the radio off screen before Rouge types back in the middle. "...Was cut off, of course I was!" Topaz says from the radio off screen. Suddenly, a crash/rumble was heard/felt and this caused Rouge to widen her eyes in shock as well as jump from her seat. Rouge closed her eyes in pain while groaning. The rumble stops before Rouge opens her eyes and looks up. "Huh?" Rouge asked.

At the Eclipse Cannon, Sonic, Shadow and Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) were seen running/skating/flying forward towards the readers while grunting. Suddenly, Sonic, Shadow and Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) charged directly into each other and this caused a big explosion to happen in the process with a big black smoke cloud forming all over.

In another area outside of the Eclipse Cannon, the black smoke cloud broke through the area with more shakes. Suddenly, Sonic and Shadow's auras were seen popping out of the black smoke. Shadow and Sonic then land across from each other before looking at each other. "So? Have you had enough, faker? Because it looks like you can't keep up with two Hedgehogs let alone one of us!" Sonic says, "It doses't matter anymore. You and that abomination made me use more of my power than what I should. And to think you're all a bunch of normal creatures that fell out of the trash bin" Shadow says before he looks towards the area where the black smoke broke from. "But it seems I was wrong about one of you" Shadow says before he turns back towards Sonic. "You've both made a fool outta me for the last time" Shadow says before Sonic grunts a bit. Suddenly, Sonic saw something and he looks to the left a bit in surprise. "Oh" Sonic says as he noticed a Power Ring floating in the open debris. "I've had enough of these games. It's time I finish this, Sonic. Prepare to be the first one to die by my own hands!" Shadow says before he jumps up. As Shadow was in the air, he positions his left arm and swings it out. This caused Chaos Spears to form and aim towards where Sonic was. Sonic began running while also dodging the Chaos Spears as the Chaos Spears exploded from behind him. Sonic then jumps towards where the Power Ring was and reached his left hand out for it. Sonic then grabs the Power Ring with his right hand. "Got it!" Sonic says off screen, "Hmm" Shadow says as he turns around. Sonic was seen standing while his right hand with the Power Ring glowed brightly. Sonic turns to the left up while smiling before grunting and forming his Spin Dash. Sonic's Spin Dash flew towards Shadow, until suddenly, another explosion breaks through the area and a bright explosion brightens the entire area. The light slowly clears up and reveals Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) holding Sonic's Spin Dash attack with his green aura glowing left hand while growling. After a few seconds, Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) positions his right fist and this caused his right fist to have a green aura around it. Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) then swings his fist forward and punches Sonic's Spin Dash away while yelling. This caused Sonic's Spin Dash to fly straight into the wall, causing another explosion to happen and for the area to shake uncontrollably. Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) continued growling before turning around. Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) saw Shadow who was seen standing up while looking at him from across. Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) turns to Shadow while growling. "Hmph. So this is it? You finally decided to show your true power to me? How pathetic. I was expecting a well performed battle, but the way you fight doses't make up for the battles before. Look at yourself. You're un-skilled..." Shadow says before Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) slowly growls. "...Un-trained..." Shadow says before Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) clenches his fists while growling louder. "...And un-worthy!" Shadow says before Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) lets out a yell, causing another green aura to form around him and for the area to shake tremendously again. Shadow grunted as he felt the shake while holding his balance. Suddenly, Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) flies forward and grabs Shadow by the neck before slamming him and pinning him against the wall. Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) growled at Shadow while Shadow tried getting Wrathful Steven's (Second Stage) hands off his neck with grunts. "...So this is what you are now...? An un-tamable beast...?... ... Go ahead..." Shadow says. From a pile of debris, Sonic was seen climbing out of it. Sonic jumps out of the debris and lands on the ground while rubbing his head with his eyes closed. "Man... That was one pack of a punch..." Sonic says before Wrathful Steven's (Second Stage) growls were heard off screen. This caused Sonic to open his eyes and look up. Sonic saw Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) pinning Shadow against the wall. "I dare you..." Shadow says before Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) brought his other hand behind him. "Let's see if you're actually serious about who you really are..." Shadow says before Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) forms a green energy ball in his head. "Hey! Stop!" Sonic says off screen before Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) turns his head around with a growl. "Don't do this, Steven! You're not a killer! Snap out of it!" Sonic says as Shadow was also looking towards Sonic. "You're friends don't understand the difference..." Shadow says before Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) turns back to him. "...Between the real you and the beast you've become. I've told you before that your potential is a waste if this is how you handle it, but now I see a different picture to it all. You'll never know the full-extent of your power if you let it control you. Face it, you're a disgrace of your own..." Shadow says before Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) tightens his grip on Shadow's neck, causing Shadow to grunt. Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) raised his other hand with the green energy ball up a bit. "Don't do this, Steven!" Sonic says as Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) now had his hand with the green energy ball positioned. Shadow and Sonic stared at Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) with mix of different intensity. Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) raised his hand with the green energy ball, until suddenly he stopped. Sonic and Shadow noticed this before Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) closed his eyes and grunted in pain. Then suddenly, Wrathful Steven (Second Stage) reverted back to normal Steven along with the green energy ball disappearing from his hand. This caused Shadow and Steven to fall towards the ground. "Steven!" Sonic says before he runs and jumps towards Steven before catching him. Shadow was then seen landing across from Sonic and Steven before looking towards them. "So it seems his body wasn't able to handle all the power for too long. Hmph..." Shadow says in his head. Sonic had Steven layed on the ground while also shaking him a bit. "Steven. Hey, Steven, wake up. Are you okay?" Sonic asked off screen before Steven groans while slowly opening his eyes a bit. Sonic stopped shaking Steven as Steven then notices him a bit. "So... Sonic...? Is... Is that you...?" Steven asked before Sonic smiles. "Uh huh. It's me, Steven" Sonic says, "You're... You're a... Alive...? How...?" Steven asked before Sonic nods his head. "I was able to escape from almost being blown to death in Space by learning a new trick I just picked up. How are you feeling right now, Steven?" Sonic asked, "I... I feel beat... I also feel... That I... Lost control... right?" Steven asked before Sonic nods his head again. "You did, but you were able to revert back to your normal state somehow before things got ugly. Besides all that, I'm really glad to see you're actually okay, Steven. I just knew you'd survive Prison Island's explosion" Sonic says, "...Sonic... I'm sorry that I didn't show up when I needed to. None of this wouldn't have happened if... If..." Steven says before Sonic cuts him off a bit. "Hey, don't feel sorry for yourself. I know you had a good reason for doing this and I would have supported it even if I did knew. All that matters is that you're safe and that's it, got it?" Sonic asked before Steven slowly smiles. "Yeah... Got it" Steven says, "How pitiful" Shadow says off screen before Sonic and slowly Steven turn towards Shadow who was still looking at them from across. "Even after all that, you still see him as your friend? Don't make me laugh" Shadow says before Sonic grunts while Steven looked a bit surprised. "Shadow..." Steven says, "Forget it, Shadow! It's game over! Just give up already!" Sonic says before Shadow forms an evil smirk on his face. "We'll see about that. I've told you before, I'm the Ultimate and I could take you both out right here, right now" Shadow says as he positioned his right arm. Suddenly, the whole area begun to shake and this caused Sonic to almost tumble a bit. "Whoa!" Sonic says before he looks up. "Whoa!" Sonic says while Steven looks around. "What's going on here?" Steven asked before Shadow looks upwards. "Maria, it's time!" Shadow says before he turns around and escapes from a secret exit. Sonic takes a step forward and reaches his hand out towards where Shadow escaped. "Hey, wait! Huh?" Sonic asked as beeping was heard. Sonic and Steven turn to the left to see the time limit on the wall that now said 00:23:47:00 minutes while it continues counting down. "Why's that timer counting down?" Steven asked off screen as the timer continues counting down.

Inside the Central Control room, the entrance doors open and showed Chris, Mr. Tanaka, Amy, Tails and Knuckles who was still holding the Master Emerald entering the room. "What's..." Dr. Eggman says off screen before it shows his left fist banging on the control table. "...Happening? What is my grandfather doing?" Dr. Eggman asked as he sweat drops while Chris, Mr. Tanaka, Tails, Amy and Knuckles stop behind him. Suddenly, the machine began to close the area where all the Seven Chaos Emeralds are attached to while the Chaos Emeralds glowed. Knuckles then noticed this. "The Chaos Emeralds!" Knuckles says before Dr. Eggman grunts while reaching his right hand out until the machine closed the Seven Chaos Emeralds off. Dr. Eggman puts his hand down before he, Chris, Mr. Tanaka, Amy, Tails and Knuckles look at the monitor that showed Gerald Robotnik chained up in his Prison cell in Prison Island. "The countdown marking the death sentence for every human being on Earth has begun. If my calculations are correct, in just 27 minutes and 53 seconds, you will all be destroyed along with your beloved Planet Earth. Soon the Space Colony ARK will hurtle through the atmosphere and impact the Earth with cataclysmic..." Gerald says from the monitors.

At the timer, the countdown was now at 00:22:00:00. "...Force" Gerald says off screen as the countdown continued.

On Earth, a person's hands were seen holding a device that showed Gerald on the screen. "When all the seven Chaos Emeralds are collected together..." Gerald says from the device before it reveals a man was holding the device and watched along with a group of people with him. "...My plan for revenge begins" Gerald says from the device off screen.

At another part of Station Square, many citizens were watching the same video of Gerald on a big TV on a building wall at the top. "Once I initiated this program, you have no chance on disabling it and absolutely no hope of survival" Gerald says from the big TV.

In the living of the Rental Apartment, Ella, Chuck, Cream and Cheese were seen sitting on the couch and watching Gerald's video on TV. "All of you ungrateful humans took everything including my granddaughter Maria away from me. So now..." Gerald says from the TV.

Back at the Central Control room, Gerald's video continues on the monitor. "...I'm destroying everything you care about. You'll feel the same loss and despair I felt when I lost Maria!" Gerald says from the monitor before he stops talking. "Do you have anything else left to say?" a man asked from the monitor off screen, "No" Gerald says from the monitor, "Ready! Aim!" the man says from the monitor off screen before a sound of a rifle reloading was heard off screen. Then suddenly, a loud gun shot was heard from the monitor off screen as it revealed to everyone in the room that Gerald Robotnik was executed on video. This caused Mr. Tanaka, Chris, Amy, Dr. Eggman, Tails, Knuckles as well as Decoe and Bocoe who were also present to have mix feelings on their faces. "What's going on here? Who is that guy? And what does he mean?" Amy asked, "That is Professor Gerald Robotnik... He was known as one of greatest scientific minds of the world and my grandfather" Dr. Eggman says before Knuckles looks at him in a bit shock. "What?" Knuckles asked before he growls. "I knew you were behind all this" Knuckles says before he began making his way towards Dr. Eggman. "Stop it right now, or else!" Knuckles says before Tails holds him back a bit. "Knuckles, take it easy!" Tails says, "Believe me, knucklehead, I would have done this a long time ago if I had the chance!" Dr. Eggman says. Suddenly, the video rewinds before it plays back at the beginning. "The countdown marking..." Gerald says from the monitor before another sudden rumble happens in the area. "...The death sentence for every human being on Earth has begun" Gerald says from the monitor off screen as Knuckle alsos felt the rumble. "Hey, the vibration is getting worse!" Knuckles says, "It's all over for us!" Rouge says off screen before Knuckles turns his head to the left a bit. Rouge was seen walking towards everyone while the rumble continues. "You..." Knuckles says off screen, "I just..." Rouge says before the rumble stops. "...Received a message from my boss" Rouge says as she continued walking.

In Outer Space, Space Colony ARK was seen crashing down towards Earth with small debris flying out from the wing sections from the air. "This space colony ARK is currently approaching Earth at an incredible velocity. At this rate..." Rouge says off screen.

Back in the Central Control room, Rouge looked a bit defeat. "...It'll impact Earth" Rouge says. Mr. Tanaka, Chris, Amy, Tails, Bocoe, Decoe and Knuckles looked at Rouge with more mix feelings while Dr. Eggman was still watching Gerald's video on the monitor. "...And absolutely no hope of survival" Gerald says from the monitor as the video continued on. "Grandpa, you mad scientist... You've really done it this time..." Dr. Eggman says. Suddenly, Sonic and Steven enter the room with Steven having his left arm around Sonic while Sonic gave his support to him as they stand. "What's going on here?" Sonic asked before everyone except Dr. Eggman notices Sonic and Steven. "Sonic! Steven!" Chris says as he smiled. Steven then makes a peace sign. "Hey, long time no see, guys" Steven says before Dr. Eggman turns towards where Sonic and Steven were. "Well you're pretty persistent for hedgehogs, aren't you! You're both actually here and alive, huh?" Dr. Eggman asked before Sonic and Steven walk towards everyone with Sonic smiling. "Huh. Riding in a shuttle with Knuckles as the pilot on the way over here was much dangerous than you could ever be!" Sonic says before Steven groans a bit. "Please don't ever remind me of that Joyride again" Steven says before Gerald's video on the monitor replays with Sonic and Steven looking up at the monitor. "The countdown marking the death..." Gerald says from the monitor off screen, "Is that Gerald Robotnik?" Steven asked before Dr. Eggman, Sonic, Chris, Mr. Tanaka, Tails, Amy, Knuckles, Decoe and Bocoe look at him in surprise. "Huh? You know who my grandfather is?" Dr. Eggman asked before Steven looks at Dr. Eggman in surprise. "What? Your grandfather? Wait, but... How in the... What...?" Steven asked before he looks towards Rouge and Rouge sighs. "I guess I didn't tell you before, did I? Steven, Eggman and..." Rouge says before she points at the monitor screen. "...Gerald Robotnik are related" Rouge says before Steven looked a bit freaked out. "WHAT!?" Steven asked before Rouge sighs. "I figured you would have that reaction" Rouge says, "Eggman and Gerald... No way... I thought it was too true to be a coincidence, but looking back on what I've learned..." Steven says.

A flashback shows Steven inside the Study reading an article about Gerald Robotnik while Gerald's picture was seen. "...It almost makes a lot of sense" Steven says off screen.

Back to reality, the flashback stops ends with Gerald's picture reflection disappearing from Dr. Eggman's face. "Shocking, isn't it?" Rouge asked off screen, "Wait. If Gerald's got history here and that he's Eggman's grandfather..." Steven says before points a finger at Dr. Eggman while looking at everyone. "...Then someone please explain to me how this man was brought into our Home World!" Steven says before Dr. Eggman sighs and covers his face. "I should have known this would catch on quickly" Dr. Eggman says before Sonic turns to him. "Wait a minute. Steven has a point. What's this all even about, Eggman?" Sonic asked before Dr. Eggman uncovers his face. "Well you might not know this, my little blue friend or any of you, but I recently learned that I was born in this world" Dr. Eggman asked before Sonic, Steven, Knuckles, Tails, Amy, Chris and Mr. Tanaka gasped a bit. "What? In this world? It can't be!" Chris says, "I absolutely have no words to say about that" Mr. Tanaka says, "Yeah? Well I do. Mad scientists must run in the family" Knuckles says before Tails looks at Dr. Eggman. "But how is that possible? You've been terrorizing our Home World for as long as I can remember. So how were you even here to begin with?" Tails says, "I bet he's lying. He wasn't born here and that isn't his grandfather either!" Amy says, "As much as I don't want to believe it, but I think Eggman may be telling the truth for once" Sonic says before Dr. Eggman looks at him. "Heh. I didn't think you would believe anything I told you, Sonic" Dr. Eggman says, "Yeah? Well it's not hard to see since you and your gramps have the glasses, the mustache and everything I expect from an Egg-head" Sonic says, "I'm just gonna pretend I didn't hear that from you, but if you all want an honest answer, then allow me to explain" Dr. Eggman says, "Please do..." Steven says as he was slightly shaking. "...Because I am on the verge of doing something I'll regret. So you better make this snappy!" Steven says as Sonic puts a hand on his shoulder. Dr. Eggman winced a bit while leaning back on his seat. "Uh. Right" Dr. Eggman says before he looks at everyone. "You see, it turns out that both our Home World and Earth are in Parallel Dimensions that share the same position in time and space. But when Chaos Control happened, we've traveled between the two" Dr. Eggman says, "Really? So that means both of our Worlds are fused into one, right?" Sonic asked, "Yes, that's exactly right" Dr. Eggman says, "You know, Chaos Control is one thing, but Parallel Dimensions is something else. With everything we've been through before, I suddenly can't find that un-believable" Steven says, "Yes, I know, but now that I answered your questions..." Dr. Eggman says before he looks at Steven. "...How about you tell me how you know my grandfather, Steven" Dr. Eggman says before Sonic turns to Steven. "Steven, do you really know who the guy is?" Sonic asked, "Kinda. You see after I survived Prison Island..." Steven says, "Hang on!" Chris says before Steven turns to him. "Steven, how did you survive Prison Island?" Chris asked, "Yeah, we'd like to know too!" Tails says, "When we told Lucky you weren't with us, he couldn't stop crying that day" Amy says, "Really? Oh man..." Steven says as he rubbed his arm a bit. "And what did Shadow do to you back there anyway? Because when I mentioned your name to him, he just let out a laugh" Sonic says, "Oh really?" Steven says before he noticed almost everyone looking at him. "Wow. I feel I'm being interviewed... Hmm... Alright, how about this? I'll tell you all what's been going on with me. Starting from the very beginning before all this even happened" Steven says. Steven explained to everyone what happened from the beginning of the Shadow/Sonic Adventure 2 Saga up until now. Once Steven finished, everyone was a bit surprised. "So you've been through a lot on your own then, huh, Steven? Guess that explains the new outfit then" Knuckles says as he pointed at Steven's Metal Force outfit. "Yeah. It was quite a hectic Adventure for me. It's almost like what I went through with Chaos except I was technically on the run" Steven says, "I can't believe everyone thought you were Shadow, Steven" Tails says, "Yeah..." Steven says before he turns his eyes towards Rouge while giving an annoyed look while Rouge acted innocent. "... And I bet they thought we were related" Steven says before he looks back at everyone else. "Now that would be unbelievable" Chris says as he laughs a bit nervosuly. "Please don't" Steven says, "I must admit that Paddle boat of mine was the greatest idea I've ever come up with. Because if it, it saved your life, Steven" Mr. Tanaka says, "Yeah. I guess you can say Swans are a good fortune of luck" Steven says, "I just knew Shadow would do something like that. He thought that would be the best way to finish you, but since you're a lot stronger than what he thinks, you showed him who's boss, Steven" Sonic says while giving Steven a thumbs up while Steven chuckles a bit. "Yeah. I guess I did" Steven says, "Yes, yes, now enough about luck and strength. Now I want to know what you found in my grandfather's cell, Steven" Dr. Eggman says before Steven turns to him. "Well I found a lot of writing that could have possibly been related to some project he was working on in there, but something still bothers me. How did Gerald even know about the Chaos Emeralds because Shadow said that he was given the power of Chaos Control during his creation, but the Chaos Emeralds originated from our world" Steven says before Knuckles turns to Dr. Eggman. "Hey, he makes a fair point. What did your grandfather do to know about the Chaos Emeralds? Because if he knew about them, then it's possible he would know about the Master Emerald too" Knuckles says, "To be honest, I'm not completely sure myself. It's been such a long time that I didn't have any clue on what my grandfather was doing at the time, but my best bet is that grandpa may have figured out a way to travel through dimensions" Dr. Eggman says, "Dimensions, huh? Then how did he know about ours?" Sonic asked, "Like I said, I'm not completely sure" Dr. Eggman says before Steven sighs. "Then I guess we'll have to figure that out another time" Steven says, "Yes, we should. Now what else did you find anything else in that cell, Steven?" Dr. Eggman asked, "Well other than all that, nothing much else. But there was a written timer I was curious about" Steven says before Dr. Eggman looked a bit surprised. "Really? What did it say?" Dr. Eggman asked, "It said..." Steven says, "...In just 27 minutes and 53 seconds..." Gerald says from the monitor off screen before Steven looked a bit surprised towards the monitor. "...You will all be destroyed along with your beloved Planet Earth" Gerald says from the monitor. "...That's it. That's what it said. 27 minutes and 53 seconds... Wait..." Steven says before he listens to the whole video. After Steven listened to the whole thing, he was shocked before he turns to Dr. Eggman. "That's it! Whatever's happening right now is connected to what was written on that wall!" Steven says before, Dr. Eggman, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Rouge, Chris, Mr. Tanaka, Decoe and Bocoe gasped. "This is what Gerald has been working on when he was arrested on Prison Island!" Steven says, "But how can that be?" Rouge asked, "I don't know. When I did research on Gerald, I read and it said he was a scientist that only wanted to do good for humanity. Not destroy it. None of this makes any sense" Steven says, "Then maybe whatever you researched on was completely outdated. Not many people have the guts to speak the truth about a real scientist" Dr. Eggman says before he stands up from his chair and reaches towards something of the control table. "Well either way, we have to work together to get out of this mess!" Sonic says before he and Steven look back at the monitor that replayed. "The countdown marking the death..." Gerald says from the monitor off screen as Dr. Eggman was seen holding his laptop in his hand before sitting back down. Dr. Eggman then opens the laptop. "...For every human being on Earth has..." Gerald says from the monitor off screen before Dr. Eggman types on the laptop. "...Begun" Gerald says from the monitor off screen, "What is that?" Sonic asked off screen before Dr. Eggman turns to the left a bit. "When I hacked into the data bank on Prison Island, I found my grandfather's diary" Dr. Eggman says before he lends the laptop to Sonic. "A diary?" Steven asked as Sonic takes it before he, Steven and Chris who goes up to them looks at the laptop screen. ""I don't quite know what happened, what went wrong or why things turned out this way. Was it a mistake..."" Chris says as he read before Gerald's voice was mix in off screen as Chris continued reading along. ""...To try and create the ultimate life form? I thought it would be something that would benefit mankind. But then the military guards landed on the colony that day. They were sent to destroy the research project that I had been working on..."" Chris and Gerald asked at the same time with Gerald being heard off screen before the screen goes black.

A flashback plays with foot steps seen running in the halls of Space Colony ARK. ""...Because their leaders were afraid that they..." Gerald says off screen.

In a room, the doors opened and revealed Young Mr. Schmitz along with more G.U.N Soldiers behind him. ""...Won't be able to control the ultimate life form"" Gerald says off screen before it shows two G.U.N Soldiers aiming their guns at all the scientists in the laboratory room with the scientists had their hands in the air while another G.U.N soldier was holding his hand out towards them. ""I hope my lab colleagues at the research facility and my beloved granddaughter, Maria are all safe"" Gerald says off screen.

In another laboratory room, Gerald was seen sitting at a control table. ""The colony was completely shut down, probably to keep the prototype from falling into the wrong hands. They reported that the ARK was shut down under the premise..."" Gerald says off screen as behind Gerald was a experimental tube that had something floating and bubbling inside. "...Due to an accident. I found Maria's name among those victims who died when the ARK was shut down. She meant everything to me and I couldn't bear the thought that she died because of my research. I've lost everything" Gerald says off screen.

In Gerald's Prison cell of Prison Island, Gerald was seen writing on the wall while there was also a computer sitting in the middle. "I no longer had anything left more to live for... I went insane. I couldn't think of anything... But to avenge her... Somehow, someway. It scared me as I no longer was able to control my thoughts. All I could think about was that I wanted it all to end" Gerald says off screen before it shows Gerald writing down the timer 00:27:53:00 on the wall before the screen goes black again.

Back to reality in the Central control room of Space Colony ARK, Amy, Tails and Knuckles showed mixed feelings as they continued listening. ""Based on my original projections, I was able to finally complete my project, Shadow" Chris says as he read off screen as Rouge was seen next to Knuckles while also listening. Steven gasped as he heard Shadow's name. ""I designed its memory to be perfect, pure. I will leave everything to Shadow. If you wish, release and awaken him to the world"" Chris says as he continued reading.

Back in Outer Space, Earth was seen. ""...If you wish to fill the world with destruction..."" Chris says off screen.

Back in the Central Control Room of Space Colony ARK, Steven's hands were seen slightly shaking. "So... The truth is out... Gerald wanted to help everyone on Earth by creating Project: Shadow, but G.U.N raided the ARK and killed everyone that knew about it. They were afraid how dangerous the prototype would have been. Gerald even lost his granddaughter, Maria... So that's why he was arrested and planned all of this because he knew that once he was executed... His plan for Doomsday would fall into Shadow's hands once he was awakened... He just lost it..." Steven says in his head, "Oh, so that's why you released Shadow from the base!" Rouge says off screen before Steven's fists were seen clenching. Steven then suddenly walks up to Dr. Eggman and pushes him against the control table, causing Dr. Eggman to yelp in shock. This caught everyone by surprise. "Hey! What are you doing!?" Dr. Eggman asked before Steven used his right hand to pull Dr. Eggman by his shirt close while using his other hand to make a fist behind him. "I'm about to crack that egg-shapped body of yours wide open and then fry it with my own hands!" Steven says before Sonic and Chris went up to him and tried to hold him back. "Steven, don't do this!" Chris says, "Steven, stop! It's not worth it right now!" Sonic says before Steven turns to him. "Sonic, don't you get it!?" Steven says before he eyes land back towards Dr. Eggman. "This man has been using who ever he finds or creates to do all his dirty work for a long time!" Steven says before his eyes go towards Decoe and Bocoe. "He's had his robotic henchmen!" Steven says off screen as Decoe and Bocoe looked a bit nervous. "His E-Series robots, Lucky, Gamma, Chaos and now Shadow! Besides his E-Series robots, it's not fair to them that they had to go through all his demands even when when they had their own issues in the past!" Steven says before he looks back towards Dr. Eggman. "I may not like Shadow, but after everything I heard from your grandfather's diary, it made me see the real picture on who he is and why he was created. Now thanks to your manipulation, he's completed your grandfather's mission. You'll never learn, will you?" Steven asked before he slowly lets go of Dr. Eggman with Sonic and Chris letting go of Steven a bit. "How about you let this be a lesson the next time you come across someone else. You don't know who they really are so don't assume anything about them. Ever" Steven says before he turns around and began walking away from everyone. "Steven..." Chris says, "Steven?" Amy asked, "Where are you going?" Tails asked as Steven continued walking. "Steven, we're not doing this again. We need your help" Knuckles says before Steven stops and closes his eyes. "Don't worry. I'm gonna help, but we're gonna need more help than what we have so I need some time for myself" Steven says before he opens his eyes and turns back towards everyone. "Believe me. It's the only way will accomplish everything and I mean... Everything" Steven says before he turns back forward and leaves the Central Control room. Everyone continued watching where Steven left with mix feelings. Chris then turns to Sonic. "What do you think Steven's gonna do, Sonic?" Chris asked before Sonic turns to him. "I don't know, but I hope he does it fast" Sonic says, "The kid's been through a lot as it is so he must have something up his sleeve" Rouge says, "Let's just hope he keeps his word that it'll be enough" Knuckles says off screen as Sonic and Chris continued staring where Steven left.

Back at the timer, the timer was now at 00:20:48:00 and still continued counting down with beeps.

Back at Station Square on Earth, many vehicles were seen at a traffic jam while honking their horns on the streets while many civilians were still watching Gerald's video on the big TV monitor on the building wall up while also chattering. "You have no chance to reverse this program and absolutely no hope of survival" Gerald says from the TV. The President's Limousine was then seen in the traffic jam with Sam seen in the driver seat. "What's going on?" the President asked off screen.

Inside the President's Limousine, Christina was seen looking at the laptop on her lap. "We've just received high-priority messages from the Space Bureau and Military Headquarters, Mr. President. "Space Colony Ark is plummeting towards Earth with tremendous energy" Christina says before the President looked shocked. "At this rate, the impact on Earth will be the same or catastrophic then when it blasted the moon"" Christina says, "No way! If that colony hits us, millions of lives are going to be killed!" the President says before Christina looks back at the laptop. Sam's head was turning back forward. Sam then looked a bit nervous as he looked forward. "Will this be the end, Sonic?" Sam asked in his head.

Outside of a building, many police cars and Officers were seen surrounding the area.

Inside a room of the building, the doors busts open with many Police Officers aiming their guns forward. "Hey! Freeze!" all the Police Officers said at the same time while still aiming their guns forward. Inside the room were many agents that were related to the ones that were stalking Mr. Stewart and Scarlet before. "Huh?" the agents asked at the same time while being caught by surprised. Suddenly, a man was seen in front of the Police Officers before holding up a paper in his hand and in front of the agents. "You're all under arrest for attempted murder and treason" the man says.

Back outside of the building, the agents were seen having their hands behind their heads while the Police Officers aimed their guns at them. From above another building that was across was the G.U.N Commander and Topaz. "A secret organization inside G.U.N erased all records of Project Shadow. They even kept their existence hidden from the President until Dr. Eggman hacked into their system and accessed the file" the G.U.N Commander says, "Even though we've arrested them..." Topaz says before she looks up at the sky nervously. In the sky was a big pink dot indicating the Space Colony ARK was getting closer to Earth.

Back inside the Central Control room of Space Colony ARK, on Dr. Eggman's laptop was a window that had the map of the whole Space Colony ARK, a window with the timer which was now at 00:16:36:00, and another which was the temperature. Dr. Eggman then spoke while his laptop was behind him. "The overpowered energy from the Chaos Emeralds has transformed the core of the Eclipse Cannon into a highly reactive and explosive mega-bomb. If the colony collides with earth, the blast will be more massive than a supernova and that will shatter Earth into pieces like my grandfather predicted. That mad scientist!" Dr. Eggman says, "That should be you, right?" Amy asked off screen before Mr. Tanaka, Tails and Chris were seen looking a bit nervous with Tails stepping forward. "The amount of energy from the Chaos Emeralds is also what made the space colony ARK's position to be shifted and move towards Earth faster. We have to get the Emeralds and deactivate the energy somehow" Tails says before Chris turns to Tails. "But how can we do that, Tails?" Chris asked. Sonic was then seen turning his head to the left while smiling. "I know!" Sonic says before Chris, Amy, Tails, Mr. Tanaka, Rouge, Decoe and Bocoe turn around. "Huh?" Knuckles asked before he looks nervous and points at himself while sweat dropping. "What? Why me?" Knuckles says before Rouge puts her hands on her hips. "Because you're the one that told me you can stop all..." Rouge says before she points forward. "...The Chaos Emeralds with your Master Emerald's power!" Rouge says. Knuckles looks behind to see the Master Emerald glowing behind him. "That's right! If I use it, I just might be able to stop the Chaos Emerald!" Knuckles says off screen. Everyone looks at each other while Gerald's video continues playing on the monitor. "There's still time to stop the space colony from crashing, but we have to hurry. We'll only reach the core if we all work together and find a shortcut to it" Tails says before Sonic steps forward while making a fist with his right hand. "I'll lead the way. I'm the world's fastest hedgehog so stay on my heels and do your best to keep up the pace!" Sonic says before Dr. Eggman raised his right fist up. "Okay, let's get to work!" Dr. Eggman says.

Cannon's Core

In a hallway in Space Colony ARK, a flashing red light was emanating the area. "System alert!" a man says from the speakers off screen before it shows Sonic running in the hallway. "System alert!" the man says from the speakers off screen before Knuckles was seen following Sonic. "The intruders have breached the system area! Initiate debug program!" the man says from the speakers off screen before it shows Decoe and Bocoe holding the glowing Master Emerald with ropes and stick while following Sonic and Knuckles. "Hurry!" Decoe says as he and Bocoe continue running. "The plan is Sonic's group will destroy many security doors leading to the Cannon's Core..." Dr. Eggman says off screen before it shows Sonic and Knuckles destroying the door with their attacks. This caused an explosion to happen in the process. "...On their way forward" Dr. Eggman says off screen before the smoke clears up for Sonic, Knuckles, Decoe and Bocoe to enter the pathway while Decoe and Bocoe continued holding onto the Master Emerald.

In a security room, the green closed door was suddenly smashed open with smoke flying out. Rouge was seen entering before Tails and Dr. Eggman ran in the room. "Meanwhile, Tails, Rouge and I will enter the security room..." Dr. Eggman says off screen as suddenly, security robots were seen and began firing lasers towards Tails while Tails makes his way towards the control table while flying and dodging the laser power. "...And hold off any resistance..." Dr. Eggman says off screen before it shows him punching and destroyed one of the security with his right fist. "Take that!" Dr. Eggman says, "...While Tails goes to security control table "A-1002" to push the switch." Dr. Eggman says off screen as Tails made it to the control table labeled "A-1002" on it while the lasers continued firing. Rouge kicked and destroyed a security robot with her left foot. Tails closed his eyes and strained as he used all his muscles to push the levers while sweat dropping. "Once Tails pushes the switch, this will open the last security door leading to the core" Dr. Eggman says off screen.

Back in the hallway with Sonic, Knuckles, Decoe, Bocoe and the Master Emerald, a big closed door in front of them begins to open. "Thus giving Sonic's group a chance to get past the energy field" Dr. Eggman says off screen, "System alert! System alert! Primary lock system terminated. Initiate final defense systems" the man says from the speakers off screen before a sudden rumble was felt. A big wave of brown water was seen flying towards Sonic, Knuckles, Decoe, Bocoe and the Master Emerald. Knuckles punches the wall and digs his right fist in before grabbing Sonic's hand. The wave of brown water pushed through Knuckles, Sonic, Decoe, Bocoe and the Master Emerald while Knuckles, Sonic, Decoe and Bocoe held their grips and breaths. After a few seconds, the wave of brown water calms down and stops flowing. "And then once Sonic's group stays clear from the electrical disturbance..." Dr. Eggman says off screen before the door was suddenly beginning to close. Knuckles, Sonic, Decoe, Bocoe and the Master Emerald rushed in the other side. "...They will be able to make their way to the core without running into anymore problems" Dr. Eggman says off screen before the door began to close behind Knuckles, Sonic, Decoe, Bocoe and the Master Emerald. "Then finally, the rest will be all up to them now!" Dr. Eggman says off screen before the door closed with a big splash of the brown water.

ARK: Abandoned lab Colony impact: 19 minutes 50 seconds

At an Abandoned lab of Space Colony ARK, Mr. Tanaka, Chris and Amy were seen looking out the window of Earth.

Outside of the window of Space Colony ARK, Amy clasped her hands while she and Chris looked nervous. "Everyone, please make it in time" Amy says, "I wish there was something we could do to help Sonic and the others. Without Steven, who knows what could happen" Chris says.

Back in the Abandoned lab, Mr. Tanaka's left hand was seen laying on Chris' right shoulder. Chris looks towards Mr. Tanaka on the right while Mr. Tanaka smiled. "Everyone will get to the Chaos Emeralds in time and Steven will help them. Let's believe in their strength" Mr. Tanaka says before Chris smiles slowly. "It's pointless" Shadow says off screen, "Huh?" Chris asked as he looked a bit surprised. Chris turns around on the right to see Shadow in the middle of the room. Amy, Chris and Mr. Tanaka also looked at Shadow. "Shadow!" Chris and Amy said at the same time before Shadow forms an evil smile on his face.

Back in Outer Space, Space Colony ARK continued crashing down towards Earth.

Back inside Space Colony ARK with Amy, Chris, Mr. Tanaka and Shadow, Shadow continued looking towards Amy, Chris and Mr. Tanaka with a frown on his face. Amy then takes a step forward. "Shadow, we need you! Please help us!" Amy says before Shadow looks at Amy. "Why should I? It's all going according to plan. There is no reason for me to help them. Besides, there's no way to save anyone" Shadow says before Amy takes another few steps forward. "But there has to be, Shadow!" Amy says before Mr. Tanaka puts a hand on her shoulder. "Amy..." Mr. Tanaka says off screen while Chris's eyes shook slightly while also sweat-dropping and looking nervous. Chris then puts a serious look on his face. "Hmm" Chris says before he began walking forward. Amy and Mr. Tanaka noticed this. "Master Chris...?" Mr. Tanaka asked while Chris continued walking. "Please, Shadow, you can help save them" Chris says as he continued walking. This caught Shadow a bit surprised. Amy and Mr. Tanaka also looked a bit surprised as well. Chris stops in front of Shadow while Shadow glares at him. "You believe that your whole reason for being created is to be a tool for revenge, but think about it" Chris says as he takes a few steps closer to Shadow before stopping. "When I was in danger back on Prison Island, you decided to save me" Chris says as Shadow continued glaring at Chris. Chris then puts his hands on Shadow's shoulders. "I know that deep down in your heart, you know you were made to help others, not to let anyone die! That's the reason you helped me!" Chris says, "Hands off" Shadow says as he was about to bring his right fist to Chris' left wrist. Suddenly, a hand grabs Shadow's right fist roughly, causing Shadow to be caught by surprise a bit. Shadow and Chris turn their heads to see Steven holding Shadow's right fist while Steven glared towards Shadow. "Steven!" Chris says as he, Mr. Tanaka and Amy were surprised before Shadow grunts. "Chris, step away. Right now" Steven says as he continued glaring at Shadow. "Steven..." Chris says, "Chris. Please" Steven says as he didn't take his glare off Shadow. Chris got nervous as heard the tone of Steven's voice. "Master Chris" Mr. Tanaka says off screen before Chris turns to Mr. Tanaka and Amy as Mr. Tanaka and Amy also looked a bit nervous. Chris looks back towards Shadow and Steven before he slowly takes his hands off Shadow's shoulders and walks back towards Amy and Mr. Tanaka. Chris, Amy and Mr. Tanaka then watch Shadow and Steven nervously while Shadow and Steven continue to glare at each other. "You've got a lot of guts to show your face after what happened" Shadow says, "Yeah? Well too bad for you then" Steven says before Shadow tried getting his right wrist off of Steven's grip while grunting, but Steven continued holding it tightly. "Let go...!" Shadow says, "No. Not until I feel I should" Steven says, "Then what do you even want? If you're here for a rematch, then you're a bigger fool than I thought" Shadow says, "No. That's not why I came all the way over here. I just want to talk. You and me. That is if you don't try anything once I let go" Steven says, "What makes you think I won't?" Shadow asked before Steven tightens his grip on Shadow's right fist. "Don't push it, pal. Listen, whether you like it or not, we need to talk. So drop the act now because I am done listening to another one of your threats" Steven says. This caused Shadow to slightly look a bit surprised while Amy, Chris and Mr. Tanaka looked even more nervous. Shadow and Steven continued glaring at each other before Shadow closes his eyes and relaxes a bit. This caused Steven to slowly loosened his grip on Shadow's right fist and for Shadow to snatch his right arm back. Shadow then opens his eyes and watches Steven as he goes in front of where Chris, Amy and Mr. Tanaka were while he and Steven continue glaring at each other. "Now go on. Talk" Shadow says before Steven takes a deep breath. "Alright. Now I'm only gonna say this once so listen. As you've already guessed, we're running out of time and if we keep fighting like this, then we're all gonna die. So hear me out when I say this... Let's set our differences aside and work together to stop the ARK from crashing towards Earth" Steven says before Shadow scuffs. "Really? This is what you came all this way for? To make a truce? Don't make me laugh" Shadow says, "I'm serious, Shadow. We need you on board. Now" Steven says, "And why should I? If anything, it makes no difference to me" Shadow says, "Is that so? Tell me, Shadow, when was the last time you actually cared about anything in your life?" Steven asked before Shadow stayed silent. "Alright. I'll give you a hint" Steven says before he points his left thumb behind himself. Shadow looks towards where Steven was pointing and it revealed Steven was pointing at Chris. Steven then puts his left hand down. "That's right. You saved Chris and Rouge back on Prison Island, didn't you?" Steven asked before Shadow looks back at him while scuffing. "So what? I only went back for that pathetic creature for the Chaos Emeralds, but your friend got in the way and interfered on what I was originally gonna do" Shadow says, "Yeah, but even so, you still saved them. And you haven't done anything to hurt them since then. I guess you can say the tables have mysteriously turned on your part" Steven says before Shadow grunts. "Don't you see, Shadow? You try and try to ignore everything that's in the way of what you desire, but I bet there's something inside of you that makes you have a change of heart. Shadow, besides Rouge and Chris, who or what else do you care about?" Steven asked before Shadow grunts. "I don't have to tell you anything. All of you normal creatures and humans only care about your own feelings so I don't need to tell you all mine" Shadow says, "I understand that, but if it's bothering you this much, would it hurt just for me to give you a little bit of sympathy?" Steven asked before Shadow grunts again. "Keep your feelings to yourself. After everything I've done to you in the past, you want to help me anyway? You're nothing but a fool to me so stop trying" Shadow says before Steven sighs. "...Call me what you want, but I don't care anymore. Whatever anyone thinks about me, they can say all they want, but I will do whatever I can to protect my friends and those who are good or bad! Even if it isn't possible!" Steven says. This caught Shadow, Chris, Amy and Mr. Tanaka to be caught in surprise. "So I'm gonna do whatever it takes to help you regardless so just co-operate and listen to me, okay!?" Steven asked before he calms down a bit and takes a deep breath. "Now... Listen, Shadow, Gerald's main purpose for creating you was to help people, not to destroy them. So why are you following Eggman's orders to help destroy Earth?" Steven asked, "...Hmph. You ask too many questions. You're more annoying than that blue hedgehog" Shadow says, "Don't change the subject, just answer the question. Why? For the pass few days, Eggman has been using you so much to get what he wants. That's all he's about is control and he's done that so many times in the pass. As of right now, you're the last person he counts on if his side goes South so that's all he wants to do is control you. And until you realize that and break away from that, it's never gonna end. It's not making you any happier and it's just gonna keep putting you right back where you came" Steven says. Shadow stayed silent and continued glaring at Steven. "Now listen... Shadow, at the time, did you know that Gerald had a granddaughter named Maria..." Steven asked off screen before Amy, Chris and Mr. Tanaka slightly gasped. "...Who died the same day G.U.N. raided the ARK?" Steven asked off screen. Once Shadow heard that question, he gasped a bit before he slowly started to get angry while also shaking and growling. "...What... Did... You... Just... Say...?" Shadow asked. Steven noticed Shadow's reaction while keeping his guard up. "I asked if you knew anything about Gerald's granddaughter: Maria" Steven says as Shadow continued growling in anger. Chris noticed Shadow clenching his fists and slowly positioning his feet. Chris gasped before he runs towards Steven. Mr. Tanaka and Amy noticed this before gasping and looking towards where Chris was running. "Master Chris!" Mr. Tanaka says as he reaches his right hand out. "Chris, no!" Amy says. Steven gasped a bit before he looks behind a bit. "Steven, look out!" Chris says as he rushes towards Steven. Shadow then suddenly charges towards Steven while positioning his right fist back and grunting. Suddenly, everything happens in slow motion with Steven still looking at Chris, Chris getting closer to Steven and Shadow about to punch Steven in the face. Chris pushes Steven out of the way and this caused Shadow's right fist to miss Steven's face and suddenly make contacts with Chris' left wrist. Once Shadow's right fist and Chris' left wrist made contact, a sudden gust of pressure happened. This caused Steven, Amy and Mr. Tanaka to gasped in shock before time resumes normally. Once time resumed normally, Steven crashes on the floor and Chris got pushed back while yelling before hitting the ground with a thud. Mr. Tanaka and Amy gasped as they noticed Chris laying on the ground. "No! Chris!" Amy says as she was about to run towards Chris before Mr. Tanaka grabs her right arm. Amy then looks at Mr. Tanaka while Mr. Tanaka watched. "Tanaka?" Amy asked before Mr. Tanaka closes his eyes and shakes his head. Mr. Tanaka eventually opens his eyes again towards Chris. Steven groans a bit before he turns his head towards Chris and lets out a gasped. "CHRIS!" Steven says before he looks towards Shadow shortly and quickly gets up to run up to Chris. Shadow was seen looking towards Chris and Steven before putting his right fist down. "Hmph. Pathetic" Shadow says. Steven rolls Chris on his back as Chris looked a bit injured everywhere. Steven then shakes Chris a bit. "Chris, are you okay?" Steven says before he shakes Chris a little rough. "Chris, come on, wake up! Wake up! Come on, Chris!" Steven says. After a few seconds, Chris slowly stirs and opening his eyes a bit while groaning. Steven then lets out a heavy sigh in relief. "Oh... Thank Chaos..." Steven says before his expression changes to anger and swings his head towards Shadow. "...YOU...! What the heck is wrong with you, Shadow!? Attacking someone that's completely defensless and not holding back!? That's just low even for you!" Steven says, "That boy shouldn't have got in the way to begin with. Consider that as a warning when you talk about someone around anyone" Shadow says as Steven growls in anger. This caused Chris to slowly open his eyes and saw the angry look on Steven's face. "Steven...?" Chris asked before Steven snaps out of it and looks at Chris. "Chris, are you okay?" Steven asked, "I think so..." Chris says before Steven helps him sit up and lean against the wall. "Chris, why did you do that? You could've gotten really hurt" Steven says in concern. "Well... Because when you mentioned that name to Shadow. I saw the way he looked and I knew he was angry. So I jumped in before he could have did something to you" Chris says, "Really?" Steven asked before he turns towards Shadow again. "Then it looks like we might get somewhere with this" Steven says in his head before he turns to Chris. "Chris, stay here. I'm gonna try a different approach with Shadow" Steven says, "Please be careful, Steven..." Chris says, "I'll try" Steven says before he stands up and turns to Shadow. "So... You do know who Maria is then" Steven says before Shadow clenches his fists and growls angrily again. "Don't you..." Shadow says before he points his right finger to Steven. "...Dare mention that name to me!" Shadow says, "Why? You mean I can't ask you anything about someone who you could have possibly known back then?" Steven asked, "No, you can't!" Shadow says, "Oh. Then can I tell you what I know about her?" Steven asked, "No! Don't you ever say anything about Maria to me!" Shadow says, "It seems he doses't like it when someone talks about Maria. She must have been someone special to him then. I'll have to keep this up for a little bit longer" Steven says in his head, "Well listen, from the way you're acting, you obviously know who Maria was and I can tell she was someone special to you. Was she your best friend or what?" Steven asked, "I'm warning you...!" Shadow says, "If she was your best friend, then you probably knew she had an un-curabble disease called Neuro-immune Deficiency Syndrome or (N.I.D.S) for short" Steven says before Shadow gasped a bit. "How do you know about Maria's Disease...!?" Shadow asked, "Which I learned is a condition that can make the Human Body physically weak and fragile that can worsen over time and needs immediate medical attention" Steven says, "...You're gonna regret the day you were born and I promise you it'll be Legendary! You don't know anything about Maria, so stop trying to!" Shadow says. Steven and Shadow look at each other for a bit before Steven lets out another sigh. "...Listen, whatever happened with her back then must have been really personal to you, but if you could just let me help you out, then we can possibly heal the wounds, okay?" Steven asked before Shadow growls. "Don't give me that! No one asked you to help me, so stop trying to play the Hero!" Shadow says, "I know that, but still, I have to try... We're running out of time and we're not getting anywhere with this, so can you just drop the act and co-operate with me for once, please!" Steven says. Steven and Shadow look at each other while Steven tries to calm down a bit. After a few seconds, Steven looked a bit surprised. "Wait... Maybe I could..." Steven says in his head before he out a sigh. "Okay, okay, okay..." Steven says before he looks at Shadow. "How about this? How about I tell you about what I've learned about Project: Shadow and maybe it could help you get a better understanding from it all. It doses't have to be about Maria, okay? Please?" Steven asked as Shadow stayed silent for a bit. After a few seconds, Shadow growls in annoyance and this caused Steven to sigh in relief. "...Alright, then. I'm gonna do my best to tell you what I've known from the few days. So bare with me, okay?... Alright. First off, we already know that Gerald was the greatest scientist at the time and created many things like you, the ARK and a bunch of other things. His main purpose for creating the ARK was to help Man-kind with the power of Science. He had a granddaughter named Maria who had a disease..." Steven says before Shadow grunts in annoyance. "...So from what I can tell, she's been living here on the ARK to keep her condition stable because of the low gravity's aide. Which I can understand is very true since how low the gravity is, it helps the human body's immune system have a slight push at a stable pace" Steven says before Shadow growls. "Get on with it!" Shadow says, "Alright, alright. Okay... So... I think Gerald might have been working on finding a cure for the disease with the power of Science... And... Shadow, I think that may have been around the time where a research program called "Project: Shadow" came to play" Steven says. This caused Shadow, Amy, Mr. Tanaka and Chris to have mix feelings. "Shadow... Gerald didn't want to do this because he thought this weapon would get into the wrong hands and be used for war by G.U.N.. Just like he said from his diary... But I think a small spark of hope made him change his mind. And do you know what that was, Shadow?" Steven asked, "What...?" Shadow asked, "Is having another plan for finding a cure for Maria's disease" Steven says before Shadow was caught by a surprise a bit again. "So I bet he agreed to it and worked days and nights researching a formula for immortality despite how his colleagues felt about it. Now I don't how this was possible, but I think he... I think he may have learned about the Chaos Emeralds and our Home World. So... Hmm... I think Gerald may have done a lot of deep research to know that the theory of Dimensions existing in Time and Space was true. If he had discovered about the Chaos Emeralds, then he must have discovered a way to look into another Dimension - which would be my-I mean our Home World Dimension. Hmm..." Steven says as he thinks a bit before an idea pops up. "Wait... Okay, I may not be 100%, but I think I may know what he discovered back there. Because if all this is true, then I think Gerald may have found a way to travel through Dimensions on his own!" Steven says.

A flashback plays of Steven's adventures throughout the whole Sonic Adventure/Chaos Saga. "So I think after Gerald traveled himself into our Home World, he began his research on the Chaos Emeralds - Which originated from a Shrine at a land called Mystic Ruins. The Shrine was famously known as the original home of a huge object called the Master Emerald - Which controls the power of the seven Chaos Emeralds and had a Guardian watching over them and its children. Now currently, the shrine has transformed part of its land into a floating island of its own called Angel Island. Anyway, back then, the Shrine had an interest with these ancient Echidnas that were part of a Clan known as the Knuckles Tribe - Who have been fighting over the infinite power of the Chaos Emeralds. So I think Gerald's interest must have spiked when he began to notice the possibility of the Knuckles Tribe holding clues for this formula for immortality. So after more research, he may have came across a mural that showed a sea monster wreaking havoc on an ancient city. Which also had carvings of jewels that seemed really similar to the Chaos Emeralds. So Gerald's possible final thoughts were that it was possible that the creature had the ability to harness the power of the Chaos Emeralds and he began to add it to the research program" Steven says off screen.

Back to reality, Steven and Shadow continued looking at each other while Steven continued talking. "So now my best bet is that after everything Gerald's learned from all that, he's been experimenting on replicating the power of the Chaos Emeralds by possibly creating something else. Now I don't know what could it have been, but let me tell you, Shadow. They may have been given to something that could of had the title as - "The Ultimate Life form". Basically someone or something that could never get sick or die" Steven says as Shadow was caught by a bit surprise before frowning again. "Hmph... You're so full of it. How can you possibly know anything about the origins or think the Professor would create something else before me? You're delusional" Shadow says, "Think what you want. I've learned about the origins from an Adventure not too long ago, but that's a story for another time, but for Gerald, that's what I'm gonna try to get to next. So I think after everything he's learned, he began experimenting and I bet it was mostly focused on the mural, since that was the only thing he saw that showed proof of harnessing the power. So he was close to the right direction on where he was going with this, but I bet there was a problem and do you know what the problem was, Shadow?" Steven asked, "No and I don't care" Shadow says, "Well... Those experiments were Artificial. They were created by Science and not Nature. So I bet he had another plan and decided to put all the research from the experiments and put it towards the next best thing - the Prototype of the Ultimate Life-form" Steven says before Shadow shakes his head while closing his eyes. "You're being a nuisance with all of this pointless talking" Shadow says, "I'm sorry, but I need you to see the real picture in all this. Shadow, do you know anything about the Prototype of the Ultimate Life-form?" Steven asked as Shadow stayed silent for a bit. "Hmm?" Steven asked before Shadow closed his eyes while grunting again. "...The Prototype was a creature that can grow incredibly fast, regenerate itself, self-reproduce and it's organs were capable of utilizing the power of the Chaos Emeralds. The Professor thought he was in the right direction, but quickly regret it afterwards" Shadow says, "And why was that?" Steven asked before Shadow opens his eyes. "...The Prototype's limbs were weak that it couldn't walk and its nature grew violent and primitive. It became too difficult for the Professor to control. So as it grew tremendously, it required a life-support system powered by the experimental power of the Chaos Emeralds just like you mentioned, just so it can sustain its own life. Afterwards, a special room was created here on the ARK for the Prototype to live in" Shadow says, "And what room was that?" Steven asked, "...The center of the Eclipse Cannon and where the Chaos Emeralds are at right now" Shadow says before Steven looked a bit surprised. "The Center? Where the Chaos Emeralds are at?" Steven asked, "...The room itself contains a building for an object that neutralizes the power of the Chaos Emeralds... Hmph... I must admit, you actually know where you're coming from with all this" Shadow says, "Huh. Didn't take you as a complementing Hedgehog, Shadow" Steven says, "Don't patronize me" Shadow says, "So if there is an Alter, then Gerald may have also known about the Master Emerald from his research too" Steven says, "You can think what you want. The building was suppose to neutralize the Prototype's power from causing any destruction, but since the creature was too dangerous and un-predictable for the Professor or any of his colleagues to control, they abandoned everything related to the Prototype and sealed it off inside the room where your friends are heading to right now" Shadow says, "They are? Then they must have a plan to put a stop to this then" Steven says, "Like I said to your friends here, it's pointless" Shadow says, "What's that suppose to mean?" Steven asked off screen as Chris was seen slowly sitting up a bit. "They're just wasting their final moments to prevent something that can't be stopped. If any in their doses't stop them, then the Prototype won't let them get in the way" Shadow says off screen as Chris was holding on to the window sale while looking towards Shadow and Steven. "What even makes you think it can't be stopped? Huh? They won't know unless they try, right? Face it, Shadow, you know us normal creatures don't go down without a fight. And that's coming from someone you always look down to. It hurts your pride, dosesn't it?" Steven asked before Shadow grunts. Steven thinks a bit before he looks back at Shadow. "...Just out of curiosity, where exactly did you come into play in all this? Because eventually after everything we just talked about, G.U.N. gotten word about the prototype and the danger it possessed. It's most likely that one of Gerald's colleagues squealed since this Project must have been at a state where it could have possibly put at a risk in many lives. Can't say I blame them though. So the real question is, what exactly inspired Gerald to make a new Ultimate Life-form that takes the body of a creature that's heavenly famous on both Worlds?" Steven asked off screen as Shadow stayed silent. "I guess it's safe to say that I'm dealing with something completely different then" Steven says, "Like I said, think what you want. It doses't change anything anymore" Shadow says before he turns away from Steven. "Now that you figured out the truth on your own, you can go ahead and say your prayers for yourself and the rest of humanity" Shadow says, "That's what you think, but it's not over yet, Shadow and you know it. Come on. Why do you have this hatred against everyone and what is all this gonna achieve? Just because you're one of Gerald's creation, doses't mean you have to follow his footsteps, Shadow. You're your own person and I know there's more to you than just being someone's puppet" Steven says, "Be quiet. I don't need to listen to you or anyone anymore. I'll do whatever it takes to fulfill my destiny and you can't stop it" Shadow says before he looks away again. "What are you even the most upset about? The fact that I'm a Hedgehog you keep thinking is out of your league play the Hero or maybe it's the fact that you're just so angry about the loss of someone that may have been your friend keep let it keep getting into your head" Steven says before Shadow forcefully turns back to Steven and glares at him. "Don't ever talk about her like that!" Shadow says, "What do you care what I think anyway? I thought you didn't care about anyone or anything so why do you care about anything someone says about Maria?" Steven asked as Shadow stayed silent and continued glaring at Steven. Steven then sighs while rubbing his head. "You know, I thought we would get somewhere, but it looks like we're back at Square One. I tried to help you, but I guess I just can't" Steven says, "Then you've come to realize that there's nothing worth saving, including me. Now you and everyone else will die without any regrets" Shadow says. Suddenly sounds of slow walking was heard before Shadow and Steven turn around to see Chris walking towards them. "No, wait. There's still time to save them, Shadow" Chris says, "Chris" Steven says before he goes up to Chris and gives his support to stand. "It's not too late to do the right thing" Chris says, "Chris..." Steven says before Shadow looks towards him and Chris. "It's useless. I made a promise to Maria and I'm keeping it" Shadow says, "A promise? What promise, Shadow?" Steven asked, "A promise that's none of your business, so don't bother to ask" Shadow says, "No, wait. What did you promise Maria?" Steven asked before Shadow grunts in annoyance. "Shadow, listen, Maria doses't want revenge" Chris says before Shadow blinks his eyes while Steven looks at Chris in surprise. "What?" Shadow and Steven asked at the same time. "Please, Shadow, you have to listen to us. No one..." Chris says before he limp-walks away from Steven and towards Shadow. "...wants their friend to do something horrible" Chris says, "Chris, what are you doing...?" Steven asked before Chris puts his hands on Shadow's shoulders. "How can you blame people alive today for things that happened 50 years ago?" Chris asked before he closed his eyes and slightly shakes Shadow a bit. "Can't you see that's not right!" Chris says, "Shut up!" Shadow says before he pushes Chris back with gust of pressure, causing Chris to get pushed back while yelling. Steven gasped as he saw this. "Chris!" Steven says before he jumps towards where Chris was flying and this caused him to get pushed back along with Chris. Steven hits the wall with a thud before he and Chris slide down while groaning. Shadow then turns towards Chris and Steven while glaring deeply. "I've told you before there's nothing in this world thats worth saving, so don't you dare talk to me about what's right or wrong!" Shadow says before Steven rolls Chris slightly away and stands up while glaring at Shadow. Steven then lets out another growl. "Are you serious!? This is the way you act when someone wants to help you!? Come on, Shadow! Everyone in this room wants to help you and all your doing is running away from your problems! This is not how you handle it!" Steven says, "Shut up! You don't have a say in this! You act like you've never had problems in your life, so don't act like you know how it feel right!?" Shadow asked, "No, it's not like that, it... Uh...!" Steven says, "Exactly!" Shadow says before he turns his head to everyone in the room. "All you living lifeforms don't know what it feels to live with the feeling of being helpless! That's what happened to me and the reason why Maria was killed!" Shadow says off screen before Steven lets out a slight gasped in surprise. "You all don't know me! You all will never understand! Especially on what really happened here!" Shadow saysas he had a deep glare on his face.

A flashback plays and shows Shadow and Maria looking outside at the Earth from an area on Space Colony ARK 50 years ago. "Maria was my only friend. She wasn't a threat to anyone. All she wanted was to visit your planet, but she couldn't because her body was weak since birth" Shadow says off screen, "I want to get better as soon as possible so that I could go down to that planet. And I want to make many friends that are like you, Shadow" Maria says before she turns to Shadow on the left while smiling. Maria's face was seen up close with her eyes shining before the screen goes black.

On the black screen, Shadow speaks off screen. "But guess what you humans did!?" Shadow asked off screen

The flashback changes and it shows Maria laying on the floor of a lab. "In order to protect..." Shadow says off screen before the screen goes black again. The screen then shows Maria's face closer. "...You're pathetic happiness, your human leaders sent soldiers to kill her! I tried to save her, but there were too many for me to stop. I never saw poor Maria again" Shadow says off screen before the screen goes black again.

Back to reality, Steven had a shocked look on his face before he slowly faces the ground. Chris was then seen looking even more injured as he tried to stand up while holding onto the windowsill and having his eyes closed. Chris then opens his eyes. "Listen, you're right" Chris says.

Back in Station Square on Earth, all the citizens were in panic as vehicles were seen held up in a huge traffic jam while Gerald's video continued playing on the big TV. "It's true that there's fights everyday on Earth" Chris says off screen before it shows many civilians looking angry and starting arguments and fights with one another. "Everyone may be selfish, self-centered and foolish like the professor said" Chris says off screen before it shows many other civilians hugging, looking worried and nervous while also looking up in the sky. "But most of them are good and they're all trying to live! They're doing their best to live and never give up on their wishes so that they can all live together in happiness someday... I know that you'd agree with me if you only got to know them. Just like Maria wanted to" Chris says off screen.

Back in Space Colony ARK with Chris, Amy, Mr. Tanaka and Shadow, Amy takes a step forward a bit. "Chris' right, Shadow. Everyone always has a reason to be happy. That's why you should help them out...saving them is a good thing!" Amy says, "You know something...?" Steven asked off screen before Amy looks towards the left a bit. Steven was still seen facing downwards as his face wasn't showing a bit. "...After all this time, I thought you were just an evil Hedgehog, but really..." Steven says before he opens his eyes while looking towards Shadow. "...It turns out you and I aren't so different after all..." Steven says before he stands up. "...We both felt helpless for someone... I know..." Steven says before he looks towards the ground. "...Because I wished I could've saved that person back then too..." Steven says.

A flashback shows the events that happened in Episode/Chapter 32. "Remember the last Adventure I said that's 'A story for another time' Shadow? Well that's where it happened. I wanted to help that one person, but I couldn't. I felt helpless for what happened to her. So I just lost it" Steven says off screen.

Back to reality, Steven was continued talking while looking towards Shadow. "I know you might think I'm just telling lies, but believe me. I would never lie to someone like that. Especially if it felt personal for me too" Steven says off screen as he squeezed his hands. Mr. Tanaka and Amy had surprised look on their faces before it shows a tear drop dropping down from Steven's eye. "I'm sorry..." Steven says before Shadow also gives a surprise look. "...I shouldn't have told you that, but..." Steven says before he wipes the tear away from his eye. "...The thing is with me is that I have a lot of experience with meeting people that have a lot of problems. And you're one of them, Shadow" Steven says before Shadow gives a small gasped. "Everywhere I go, I see someone with a problem and I can immediately relate to that problem. Which is why I'll do anything to help them. Because that's what being a Hero is about. It's not about just taking care of yourself, it's about taking responsibility for other people" Steven says as Shadow continued looking at him with a surprised look on his face. "And I've taken a lot of responsibility for those people" Steven says.

A flashback shows Steven's heroic actions from the New World Saga. "I've helped when they felt down, I've helped save them and others, I've pushed my fear back even if I felt afraid, I've taken many risks, I've showed them relations and comfort, I've learned new things, and finally, I've put all that together and I became who I am today: A Hero" Steven says off screen.

Back to reality, Steven continued talking while wiping his eyes and looking towards Shadow. "And the funny thing is that I've actually met someone who's really similar to Maria" Steven says.

Another flashback shows the events of Chapter/Episode 14. "Her name is Helen. She's a young girl who's crippled on the legs and she needs a wheelchair for her support. I met her on the day she wanted to visit an island that really took her interest, but her family was always too busy and that she couldn't do it alone. So I decided that I'll take her there. I've made a pinky promise to her and it was quite an adventure. But while we were doing that, G.U.N interfered with out adventure and I lost it too. I was on the verge to doing something that I would have regret it afterwards, but after Helen spoke to me, I eventually got better and moved on. I couldn't ask for a better friend than her" Steven says off screen.

Back to reality, Shadow looked at Steven with another surprised look on his face while Steven kept looking at Shadow. "Listen, Shadow, after everything I told you I've been through, I understand how you feel. I do really. You feel tangled inside from everything that's happened and that you wished you could've been better, but I can help you recover from it all. I just need one favor from you. If you help us save Earth, then I can do that. Please, for Maria's sake" Steven says before Shadow gasps again. "Even if you can't save your sorrow now, you can still make it better... You see, someone once told me that sometimes we have to accept the reasoning for why these things happen. It wouldn't be good for us anyway because we still have our own lives to go through. And you still got a lot to live for a bright future too, Shadow. Not just you, but for everyone living on Earth. It's all about Living and Learning. You Live to know you're mistakes and you Learn from them to make it better" Steven says before Chris groans off screen. Steven turns his head to see Chris struggling to stand up before reaching his right hand out towards Shadow. "Steven's right, Shadow. Don't take that future away from everyone. Please, Shadow..." Chris says before he struggled walking towards Shadow before stopping. Amy looks back at Shadow and clasped her hands. "Yes, Shadow, we beg you, please do it for them. Give them a chance" Amy says off screen, "...Maria... Would want you to as well" Chris says before he was about to lose his balance. Steven quickly went up to Chris and held him for support. Steven then looks back towards Shadow. "Please, Shadow. Do it for not just us, but for Maria too. Please grant her that wish" Steven says. This caught Shadow by surprised again.

Another flashback shows Maria's face close up while she was on the floor. "Shadow, I beg of you, please promise me..." Maria says before she struggled to raise her right hand up. "...Someday as..." Maria says before she brings her right hand forward towards the readers. "...My replacement..." Maria says before she slightly shakes. Shadow was then seen in a capsule far across from Maria. "Maria!" Shadow says. Maria's face was brought close up again with her eyes shining. "For all people who live on that planet... Please give them a chance to attain happiness for the future and be friends with them. I'm sure you'll be very happy down there, Shadow. I only wish I could go along with you" Maria says.

Earth was then seen as the flashback continues. "The world looks so beautiful from up here in space, but my grandfather says the people who live there..." Maria says off screen before the screen goes white.

The flashback continues on Earth with the sun shining from the sky with trees around a peaceful grass area. "...Have to face many problems. Please grant everyone's wish to let them live for their dreams. Shadow, I know you can do it" Maria says off screen before it shows her sitting on the grass next to Shadow who was standing and looking at her while smiling. "That's the reason why you were born and brought into this world" Maria says off screen before it shows Shadow's and her shadow reflection were on the grass. "You're like a shadow that always watches over us. To help those people and be their friend. Sayonara, Shadow the Hedgehog" Maria says off screen before the screen goes white.

Back to reality, Chris groans as he tried to hold his balance while still reaching his right hand out. Eventually, Chris puts his right hand down and was about to collapse. Chris closed his eyes and was about to fall towards Shadow. "Chris..." Steven says as he was about to fully catch Chris, but suddenly, Shadow used his right hand to catch Chris and Chris was now unconscious. Steven was surprised a bit before he looked towards Shadow and let out a small gasped. A tear was seen in Shadow's right eye before it poured down to his cheek. Amy looked as she felt bad. "Shadow..." Amy says before Mr. Tanaka was seen walking up to Chris, Shadow and Steven. Steven takes Chris from Shadow and passes him to Mr. Tanaka. Mr. Tanaka then takes Chris from Steven and holds him bridal style while smiling. Steven smiled as he looked towards Chris and Mr. Tanaka before turning his head towards Shadow with concern. "You're all right. That is what Maria wanted. That's what I promised her and I'll keep that promise. That's what she really wished for" Shadow says before Steven smiles towards Shadow. Steven then walked towards the exit door before stopping and turning to Shadow. "Come on, Shadow. We're not defeated yet" Steven says before Shadow turns to him. "Steven, you said you felt helpless when you couldn't save someone special to you. But you seem to have gotten over it quickly. How exactly did you move forward from it?" Shadow says before Steven lets out a small chuckle. "To be honest, I don't know how I got over it the quick way. It just happened. Sometimes I don't even know what my real purpose is or why everything around feels adaptable. I've got a lot questions to answer on my own" Steven says, "Hmm..." Shadow says, "But for how I moved forward, I didn't go through it alone. I've got a lot of friends and a new friend too" Steven says, "A new friend?" Shadow asked, "Yeah. You" Steven says before Shadow looked a bit surprised again. "You see me as a friend now?" Shadow asked before Steven nodded his head. "Uh huh. After everything I've learned from you, you're actually not so bad after all, Shadow. Once this is all over, you'll get to live on Earth and make so many new friends" Steven says as he and Shadow continued looking at each other. Suddenly, Steven reaches his right hand out towards Shadow while smiling again. "You don't have to live with hate anymore. You can live freely just like Maria wanted you too, right?" Steven asked. Steven and Shadow continued staring at each other before Shadow forms not an evil smile, but a real positive smile on his face. Shadow then reaches his left hand towards Steven's right hand and they shook hands. "Alright. I'll keep my promise to Maria and all of you" Shadow says before he and Steven let go. "Then let's go fulfill it, friend" Steven says. Shadow and Steven turn around before skating/running towards the exit with Amy and Mr. Tanaka who was still holding Chris bridal style watching while smiling.

Back at the timer, it was now at 00:15:27:00 and continued counting down.

ARK: In the core Colony impact: 15 minutes 27 seconds

In another area of Space Colony ARK, Sonic, Knuckles, Decoe and Bocoe continued running while Decoe and Bocoe still held on to the Master Emerald. Suddenly, Sonic, Knuckles, Decoe and Bocoe come to a stop. "Whoa!" Sonic says. The room Sonic, Knuckles, Decoe and Bocoe were all in was the core of the Eclipse Cannon. There was a big pool of water in the center of the room. Across from Sonic, Knuckles, Decoe and Bocoe was what appeared to what looks like the shrine to the Master Emerald like on Angel Island. The Chaos Emeralds were also seen on top of pedestals like how they were originally from the flashbacks of the shrine. Sonic, Knuckles, Decoe and Bocoe then noticed the Shrine. "There! It looks just like the shrine of the Master Emerald!" Knuckles says, "They probably designed the core like the shrine to harness the power of the Chaos Emeralds" Sonic says, "All of you ungrateful humans..." Gerald says suddenly off screen before Sonic, Knuckles, Decoe and Bocoe looked shocked. "...Took everything..." Gerald says off screen before his video footage was suddenly filtered over the screen. "...Including my granddaughter Maria away from me. So now I'm destroying every you care about. You'll feel..." Gerald says from the filter video footage over the screen. "Guys, here it comes!" Sonic says off screen, "...The same loss..." Gerald says from the filter footage over the screen before suddenly, many footages of Gerald's video with different filters were seen flying through the whole area. "...Despair I felt when I lost Maria!" Gerald says from the many flying filter videos. Suddenly, the video's audio gets the same one merge with the original by 1 second. While this was being heard, sparks of electricity were heard and this caused Sonic, Knuckles, Decoe and Bocoe to look up while Decoe and Bocoe were seen looking nervous. Above was sparks of electricity shooting out from where the many flying filter videos were seen coming out. Suddenly, the electricity forms a bright light and a huge figure began to appear from it. This caused a sudden rumble to be felt. The two audios by 1 second merge stop playing and a huge lizard-like creature lands in the center of the core with a heavy thud and water splashing upwards. The creature raised its head up before roaring while the light around dies out. The huge lizard-like creature that just made a big entrance in the core was known as the Prototype of the Ultimate Life form: The Biolizard. Decoe and Bocoe wailed as tears came out of their eyes while still holding onto the Master Emerald. "It's huge!" Decoe and Bocoe said at the same time. "This must be the prototype of the ultimate life form that was supposed to be encapsulated!" Knuckles says. Suddenly, Shadow was seen walking and stopping on Sonic's left. "Leave that thing for us!" Shadow says, "Huh?" Sonic asked before he looks at Shadow on the left with a surprise look on his face. "Shadow, what are you doing!?" Sonic asked, "You and the others secure the Chaos Emeralds while we take care of this!" Shadow says as he continued looking forward. "We?" Sonic asked before Steven appeared in between him and Shadow while also looking forward. This made Sonic gasped. "Steven!" Sonic says, "Sonic, we'll handle this from here! Get the Chaos Emeralds and the Master Emerald to that Alter!" Steven says off screen as the Biolizard looked towards Shadow and Steven. Sonic looks at Shadow and Steven for a bit before Shadow looks back at Sonic. Steven also looks towards Sonic before smiling and nodding his head. Sonic saw this and puts a slight smile on his face before Shadow and Steven look forward and ran/skated with Sonic watching.

THE BIOLIZARD: THE PROTOTYPE OF THE ULTIMATE LIFE

Back in the core of the Eclipse Cannon, Shadow and Steven continued skating/running before jumping. Shadow and Steven form into their Spin Dash before hitting the Biolizard on it's right and left side. This caused sparks to appear on where Shadow and Steven hit the Biolizard before Shadow and Steven stop Spin Dashing. This also caused the Biolizard to roar in pain. "Let's go!" Sonic says before he, Knuckles who were both grunting ran. "What's going on?" Knuckles asked as Decoe, Bocoe and the Master Emerald follow Sonic and Knuckles. Sonic, Knuckles, Decoe, Bocoe and the Master Emerald ran passed the battle.

At the battle between Shadow and the Biolizard, the Biolizard began firing red energy blasts from its mouth towards the ground. Shadow and Steven were seen skating/running while also zig-zagging away from the explosions of the energy balls before jumping. "So this is the prototype of the Ultimate Life form!? I can see why Gerald couldn't control it back then! Now's he got it as his backup for his Doomsday plan!" Steven says before Shadow looks towards him. "Pay attention! Don't hold back any of your power on this thing! Use your full power to win!" Shadow says before Steven looked surprised. "Huh!? My full power!?" Steven asked.

A flashback shows Steven in his Wrathful forms throughout the story.

Back to reality, Steven continued to look surprised. "Oh...!" Steven says.

At the bottom of the Space Colony Ark's core's Master Emerald Shrine, Sonic, Knuckles, Decoe, Bocoe and the Master Emerald ran up the steps.

Back at the battle between Shadow, Steven and the Biolizard, Shadow positions his right arm. "Get out, you ugly prototype!" Shadow says before he swings his right arm out as sparks of electricity formed around him. Eventually, they turn into Chaos Spears and the Chaos Spears hit the Biolizard's life support system that was on its back. This caused a huge explosion to form on top of the Biolizard. Shadow lands on the ground before looking towards Steven from across. "What are you doing!? Why aren't you using your power!?" Shadow asked before Steven turns to him. "Don't you remember anything for the passed few days!? I have trouble using it! You know that!" Steven says before Shadow looked surprised and grunted angrily. Suddenly, Shadow closed his eyes. "How disappointing..." Shadow says. Suddenly, the Biloizard's tail was seen swinging forward towards Shadow and Steven. Steven saw this before he and Shadow quickly jump away from the tail. Shadow and Steven then land from across each other. Shadow faced Steven while still keeping his eyes closed. "You say you have trouble using it..." Shadow says before Steven looks towards him in confusion. "And yet you... Even..." Shadow says. Suddenly, the Biolizard spits out a few large dark energy balls out from its mouth and towards where Shadow and Steven were in curved formations. Steven noticed the large dark energy balls while Shadow continued facing Steven with his eyes closed. "...Call yourself..." Shadow says before Steven looks back at him. Shadow then opened his eyes again and glared towards Steven. "...A Hero!?" Shadow asked. Steven quickly jumps out the way from the dark energy balls that immediately exploded in the process. Steven lands back on the ground, but suddenly, Shadow appeared in front of Steven and punches him on the stomach with his right hand. This caused Steven to gasped while also spitting out saliva out of his mouth. Suddenly, Shadow goes behind Steven and kicks him across the area with Steven grunting while flying away. Shadow than skated towards where Steven was flying. As Steven opened his eyes, he saw that he was flying towards the wall before about to use his hands to pick himself up. But suddenly, Shadow quickly appeared from behind Steven and immediately started rapid punching him on the back with Steven grunting. "Don't you ever give me that excuse!" Shadow says before he kicks Steven again with Steven grunting.

Back at the bottom of the Space Colony Ark's core's Master Emerald Shrine, Sonic, Knuckles, Decoe and Bocoe turn towards where the Biolizard was before gasping. Sonic, Knuckles, Decoe and Bocoe saw Steven flying and Shadow looking towards him. "Why is Shadow attacking Steven!?" Knuckles asked as Decoe and Bocoe sweat drop. "H-His evil nature isn't coming back to him again now, is it?" Decoe asked, "I hope not. We got a lot of problems on our hands as it is!" Bocoe says before Sonic turns to them. "We can't waste anymore time right now! We've gotta stop the ARK from crashing! Let's go!" Sonic says before Knuckles, Decoe, Bocoe and the Master Emerald continued running up the stairs towards the Alter. Sonic glared in Shadow's direction before slowly looking away and continues running up the stairs.

Back at the battle between Shadow, Steven and the Biolizard, Steven opens his eyes and saw he was about crash towards the wall. Steven positions himself as he was about to wall jump, but suddenly, Shadow appeared in front of Steven and immediately kicks him downwards towards the ground with Steven grunting again. "I'll admit, I'm very surprised you managed to survive everything that's happened in your life, but life's not always gonna give you good luck!" Shadow says before he quickly teleports himself to where Steven was. Steven was seen struggling to stand up before Shadow appeared and kicks him across the room again. On the other side of the room, Shadow quickly appeared and saw that Steven was flying in his direction before punching him downwards to the ground with smoke flying everywhere. The smoke slowly clears to show Shadow looking down to Steven who was had scratched marks all over his body while having his eyes closed with grunts. "I..." Steven says, "Hmm...?" Shadow asked, "I can't..." Steven says. Shadow grunts before he forcefully grabs Steven by the collar bone of Steven's Metal Force Outfit and lifts him up. "You! If you give up..." Shadow says before he tightens his grip on the collar bone of Steven's Metal Force Outfit while also lifting him up a bit more. "...I'll kill you!" Shadow says. Steven struggles to open his eyes before looking at Shadow a bit while grunting. Steven saw Shadow glaring deeply at him while still grunting. "But... I..." Steven says, "Fine... I'll end you with this" Shadow says before he positions his right hand. Suddenly, Shadow's right hand began to glow. "But once I kill you, I'm gonna let this prototype crush everything in the Space Colony ARK including your friends into bits!" Shadow says before Steven's eyes began to open up a bit more. "Then there won't be anything left to save Earth or your loved ones! You'll die as a failure and live on that forever!" Shadow says. Suddenly, Steven's eyes opened wide before he instantly punches Shadow away from him. Shadow grunts before he skids himself to a stop. Shadow looks forward before gasping. Shadow saw that Steven was facing downwards with his eyes closed and with his body was shaking while also growling. "Don't you ever..." Steven says before he opens his eyes with his eyes shining and glared at Shadow. "...Say that to me!" Steven says. Suddenly, the whole area begun to shake tremendously. This caught Shadow by surprise as he kept his balance while still looking at Steven who kept glaring at him. "If you ever let the ARK destroy Earth..." Steven says before he stands up straight. "If you ever lay a hand on any of my friends..." Steven says before the ground below him started to crumble from the weight. Steven then clenches both of his fists tightly. "I'll..." Steven says before veins suddenly started appearing from his face. "I'll...!" Steven says before his eyes began to form yellow. Suddenly, Steven lets out a loud scream and this caused a large green aura appeared all over Steven as he continued screaming. Suddenly, a gust of wind flies out and flies towards Shadow. This caught Shadow by shocked as he shielded his eyes and himself a bit. Steven was now seen back in Wrathful Steven (First Stage). Wrathful Steven (First Stage) continued screaming with the large green aura around him as well as electricity sparking out through his body. Suddenly, the large green aura around him got bigger and this caused everything around him to crumble and fly up in the air while the whole area continued shaking tremendously.

At the Space Colony Ark's core's Master Emerald Shrine, electricity was seen flying everywhere with the Master Emerald in the center. Sonic and Knuckles were looking at the Master Emerald while Decoe and Bocoe were sitting down in exhaustion. Electricity was also seen flying around where the Chaos Emeralds are standing on. "I must remember, the servers are the seven chaos. Chaos is power..." Knuckles says off screen before he appeared to be sweat dropping with electricity continue flying everywhere from behind him. "...Power is enriched by the heart. The controller is the one that unifies the Chaos" Knuckles says before Sonic looks at him on the left. "Calm down, Knuckles!" Sonic says before Knuckles takes a very deep breath. Knuckles then closes his eyes, faces downward and raised his hands up. "Master Emerald, only you can do this! Please stop the Chaos Emeralds!" Knuckles says. The Master Emerald began to spin rapidly and glow brightly in front of Knuckles. Suddenly, the whole area shook tremendously and this caught Sonic and Knuckles' attentions. Sonic and Knuckles turn their heads to see debris flying and the large green aura from where the Biolizard was. Sonic and Knuckles gasped at the sight. "What's happening now!?" Knuckles asked, "That's Steven!" Sonic says.

Back at where Shadow and Wrathful Steven (First Stage) were, the whole area continued shaking tremendously with Shadow still looking at Wrathful Steven (First Stage) in shock while Wrathful Steven (First Stage) growled with electricity and the large green aura formed around him while debris rise up from the crumbled ground. Shadow then slowly smiled. "That's it! The trigger to unleashing the potential of a life form is anger! Now channel that power and put it into your command!" Shadow says as Wrathful Steven (First Stage) continued to growl. "Come on, Steven! You want to be the Hero, right!? Then you have to use your full power at an all out battle! This is your only chance to prove that you can take on anything, so stop making excuses and just use it! Show everyone who you really are! Are you an un-tamable monster or are you Steven the Hedgehog!?" Shadow asked off screen as Wrathful Steven (First Stage) lets out a sudden gasped.

Another flashback shows Steven's memories of himself on all the adventures that he, Sonic and everyone else have been though ever since teleported to Earth to now battling against the Biolizard. "Everything I've been through has always been a dream of a lifetime. Who knew someone like me could have so much experience to being a basic Hero? But it turns out I'm more than just a Hero. I am someone that shows everyone Bravery, integrity, grace under pressure, compassion, and above all, dignity. I am... Steven.. The... Hedgehog!" Steven says off screen before the flashback shines brightly.

Back to reality, Wrathful Steven (First Stage) lets out another scream and the large green aura glowed brighter, causing the area to shake once again. Shadow shields himself and his eyes a bit. Suddenly, a bright yellow light shoots out from Wrathful Steven (First Stage) and begins to spread all over while Wrathful Steven (First Stage) continued screaming. Shadow continued to shield himself while the bright yellow light engulfed where he was. The Biolizard roared as the bright yellow light engulfed it too.

Back at the Space Colony Ark's core's Master Emerald Shrine, the bright yellow light made it's way where Sonic, Knuckles, Decoe, Bocoe and the Master Emerald were with Sonic and Knuckles grunting and shielding themselves from the bright yellow light as it also consumed the whole area.

The entire core of the Eclipse Cannon was now engulfed by the bright yellow light.

Back at the Space Colony Ark's core's Master Emerald Shrine, the bright yellow light slowly dies down with Sonic and Knuckle still seen shielding themselves. Unnoticed to them, the whole area wasn't shaking tremendously anymore. Knuckles was the first to un-shield himself. "What was that bright light...?" Knuckles asked before Sonic slowly un-shields himself. Sonic opens his eyes slowly before opening the wide with surprise. From across towards where the Biolizard was, a green calming aura was seen. "Whoa..." Sonic says while still looking a bit surprised before slowly smiling. "...He did it..." Sonic says.

Back to where Shadow was, Shadow begun to un-shield himself and open his eyes slowly as sounds of flames were heard. "Huh?" Shadow asked before he closes his eyes quickly and covering them. Shadow then slowly open his eyes again before opening them wide in surprise. In front of Shadow was Steven with the same big green aura and electricity sparks flying around his body, but the big difference was that Steven was now seen much calmer as he had both of his eyes closed and both of his fists clenched together. Steven quills were seen flowing everywhere on his head and he didn't show any signs of veins on his face, an angry expression or an un-controllable behavior. Steven was now at a state where he now has complete control of his Wrathful form by harnessing its full power without letting it take over. Steven was now known as Primal Steven (First Stage). Primal Steven (First Stage) opens his eyes they were still yellow, but were much calmer than before while looking forward at the readers. Primal Steven (First Stage) brings his hands up and looks at them. "So this... Is my true power?" Primal Steven (First Stage) asked with a calm voice, "That's right. Always remember that feeling" Shadow says off screen. Primal Steven (First Stage) looks towards Shadow who was walking towards him with a surprised look on his face. "Shadow..." Primal Steven (First Stage) says before Shadow stops and looks at Primal Steven (First Stage). "Because of me, you've just successfully managed to keep your power from going out of control. Now that powers remains yours and yours alone. If you use it more frequently, then you'll have the potential of going even further in beyond" Shadow says, "Further... Beyond...? Then all that you just said... That was...?" Primal Steven (First Stage) asked, "That's right. Don't ever forget that pain" Shadow says off screen before Primal Steven (First Stage) slowly smiled. "...Shadow... Thank you..." Primal Steven (First Stage) says. Suddenly, sounds of the Biolizard roar was heard. Shadow and Primal Steven (First Stage) turn to see the Biolizard was looking upwards while summoning many eggs from the air. Shadow and Primal Steven (First Stage) glared at the Biolizard before Shadow turns to Primal Steven (Fist Stage). "Why don't you give your new power a test run?" Shadow asked before he disssapears from Primal Steven (First Stage). Suddenly, the Biolizard looks downwards and launches the red eggs like projectiles downwards. "With pleasure" Primal Steven (First Stage) says before he clenches his left fist upwards a bit. As Primal Steven (First Stage) did this, this caused green energy balls to rapidly shoot out from the green aura and fly upwards in the air. Many green energy balls made contact with so many of the eggs and this caused the eggs to explode along with the green energy balls in the process.

Back at the Space Colony Ark's core's Master Emerald Shrine, Decoe, Bocoe, Knuckles and Sonic were seen watching the green energy balls and the eggs explode in the air. "Look at Steven go!" Decoe says, "He looks so cool with that green fire around him that he doses't look like he's struggling!" Bocoe says, "I didn't exactly expect Shadow to help someone for once. I wonder why he helped Steven?" Knuckles asked, "Shadow's a Hedgehog like me and Steven. After everything they both been through, Shadow and Steven accepted their differences and decided to help each other out. And that's what they both did. Steven helped Shadow show who he really is and Shadow helped Steven get a feel of what he's truly capable of and now that's how their gonna win his part" Sonic says before he turns to Knuckles. "But right now, we've still got our own part to win. Knuckles" Sonic says, "Right!" Knuckles says before he and Sonic turn back to face the Master Emerald. "Master Emerald, time is running out! Please stop the Chaos Emeralds now!" Knuckles says. The Master Emerald began to spin rapidly and glow brightly in front of Knuckles once again.

Back at the battle with the Biolizard, the eggs and green energy balls have stopped flying. Primal Steven (First Stage) then sets his left fist down before glaring up at the Biolizard. "This is my power! And I'm not using it for destruction anymore. I'm using it to protect my friends!" Primal Steven (First Stage) says. The Biolizard growls while looking towards Primal Steven (First Stage). The Biolizard faces upwards while letting out a roar as many more eggs were summoned in the air. All the eggs then aimed towards where Primal Steven (First Stage) was while Primal Steven (First Stage) continued glaring at the Biolizard. Primal Steven (First Stage) slowly gets in an olympic running position before closing his eyes and face downwards. From a short distant, Shadow was seen watching. Primal Steven (First Stage) then opens his eyes and glares back at the Biolizard. After a few seconds, the Biolizard looks downwards and this caused the eggs to shoot out towards Primal Steven (First Stage). Primal Steven (First Stage) then begun running forward while the eggs exploded on the ground behind him. As the eggs exploded from behind Primal Steven (First Stage) Primal Steven ran passed the Biolizard and ran on the water towards the wall. Primal Steven (First Stage) then jumped up off the ground and on to the wall. Once Primal Steven (First Stage) was on the wall, he immeditely does a wall jump towards the Biolizard. As the Biolizard looked around, Primal Steven's (First Stage) blur was seen making an attack contact with the Biolizard's head and this caused the Biolizard 's head to get pushed back while it roar in pain. Primal Steven (First Stage) continued wall jumping and attacking the Biolizard by the head before he began to do it so rapidly that it caused the whole core to shake tremendously and for a bright green light to form all over the Biolizard. Shadow watched this with a surprised look on his face. After a few more attack hits, Primal Steven (First Stage) does a skid stop next to Shadow. The Biolizard was then seen in a painful state as it's head and neck swayed back and forth. "It's condition is now weakening" Shadow says before he turns to Primal Steven (First Stage). "Now's your chance to put it down! Do it!" Shadow says before Primal Steven (First Stage) stands up. "No" Primal Steven (First Stage) says, causing Shadow to look confused a bit. Primal Steven (First Stage) turns to Shadow with a smile on his face while reaching his right hand towards him. "Let's put it down together!" Primal Steven (First Stage) says before Shadow lets out a small gasped. "It's like you said before, we both possessed great power that no one has ever seen. So let's use this opportunity to do an all out double powerful finishing attack!" Primal Steven (First Stage) says. Shadow continues looking at Steven before smiling and taking his right hand. The Biolizard was then seen facing upwards and summoning more eggs in the air. Shadow was seen in a running position while Primal Steven (First Stage) were seen in a Olympic running position. The Biolizard faces downwards and this caused the eggs to shoot out forward. Shadow and Primal Steven (First Stage) ran/skated forward while jump dodging away from the explosion of the eggs from the ground. Shadow and Primal Steven (First Stage) then do backflips and use one of the eggs to jump off. Shadow was then seen having a yellow aura around him while Primal Steven (First Stage) had his green aura around him as they continued using the floating eggs to make their way higher above the Biolizard. Once Shadow and Primal Steven (First Stage) were high above the Biolizard, Shadow and Primal Steven's (First Stage) aura lights disappear from their bodies and look at each other from across before nodding. Shadow and Primal Steven (First Stage) then look towards the Biolizard's life-support system before forming into Spin Dashes down and dive down to it. Shadow and Primal Steven (First Stage) attack the Biolizard's life support system and this caused an explosion to form along with a bright light. The Biolizard roars in pain as it looks up while the bright light continues to shine like crazy.

Back at the Space Colony ARK's core's Master Emerald Shrine, Decoe, Bocoe, and Sonic continue watching Knuckles and the Master Emerald as the Master Emerald continued spinning rapidly and glowing brightly. Suddenly, it began to shoot out electricity along with a bright light forming. Suddenly the Chaos Emeralds from on top of the pedestals powered down and fell on the ground. Knuckles turns around as he noticed this before smiling and making a fist with his left hand. "We did it!" Knuckles says before Decoe and Bocoe show happy eyes. "Good work!" Decoe and Bocoe said at the same time. "Gyaaaaah!" the Biolizard says off screen, "Huh?" Decoe asked as he, Bocoe and Knuckles look confused and surprise. Sonic and Knuckles turn around to see the Biolizard roar and look upwards. "Gyaaaah!" the Biolizard says before a bright light surrounds the Biolizard and it makes the Biolizard disappear with sparkles flowing down. "It's gone!?" Knuckles asked before Shadow teleports on the Space Colony ARK's core's Master Emerald Shrine staircase while Primal Steven (First Stage) lands on the staircase next to Shadow from the air. "No, it was Chaos Control!" Shadow says, "I can sense it's energy! It's outside of the ARK!" Primal Steven (First Stage) says before another sudden rumble was felt and heard. This caused Knuckles, Shadow and Primal Steven (First Stage) to grunt as they held their feet. Decoe and Bocoe also tried to hold their balance with Bocoe having dizzy eyes and Decoe looking upwards. "What is happening?" Bocoe asked, "We are we still heading toward the planet" Decoe says, "This doses't make any sense! We stopped the Chaos Emeralds...so why is the space colony still on a crash course to earth?" Knuckles asked as he and Sonic were trying to keep their footings. "Come in, Sonic. Do you read me?" Dr. Eggman asked from the speakers off screen before Sonic and Knuckles look up. "The prototype is still alive, and he's controlling the space colony as it's falling to earth! It's become..." Dr. Eggman says from the speakers off screen as Shadow and Primal Steven (First Stage) also look up.

Outside of Space Colony ARK, the Eclipse Cannon was seen. "...One with..." Dr. Eggman says from the speakers off screen before the Biolizard was suddenly seen appearing over the Eclipse Cannon. "...The space colony, and is determined to keep it on its collision course!" Dr. Eggman says from the speakers off screen as the Biolizard was now the Eclipse Cannon itself. This made the Biolizard now be known as the FinalHazard.

Back inside the Master Emerald Shrine of the core of the Eclipse Cannon, Knuckles looks at Sonic. "Sonic!" Knuckles says before Sonic looks at Knuckles for bit before looking downwards at Shadow. Shadow was then seen looking upwards at Sonic. Sonic and Shadow then looked towards Primal Steven (First Stage) who also looked at them. Knuckles, Decoe and Bocoe watched as Sonic, Shadow and Primal Steven (First Stage) looked at each other with slowly surprised looks on their faces. Then suddenly, Sonic closed his eyes along with Shadow's shortly. Suddenly, the Chaos Emeralds powered up and began to rise up. Sonic and Shadow then slowly rise up in the air along with the Chaos Emeralds with Primal Steven (First Stage) watching. Suddenly, Primal Steven (First Stage) looked away and positions his feet, arms and fists. Primal Steven (First Stage) then closed his eyes and suddenly, his green aura began forming around him. Primal Steven (First Stage) then began charging up his energy as this caused the whole area to shake a bit. "That powers remains yours and yours alone. If you use it more frequently, then you'll have the potential of going even further in beyond" Shadow says in Steven's head off screen. As Primal Steven (First Stage) continued charging up his Power, this caused his green aura to grow powerful. After a few seconds, as Primal Steven (First Stage) continued charging up his Power, he opens his eyes and his pupils twinkled few a second. Primal Steven (First Stage) then looked upwards before a sudden flash of light formed above him.

In a rapid bluish, reddish and greenish background, the Chaos Emeralds were seen spinning rapidly around Sonic and Shadow, Sonic was seen on the right holding his left hand out, Shadow was seen on the left holding his right hand out and Steven was seen in the center of Sonic and Shadow while looking upwards as there was also a flashing light shining above them all. After a few seconds, a sudden big flash of bright light engulfs around Sonic, Shadow and Primal Steven (First Stage) in the process.

Back inside the Space Colony ARK's core's Master Emerald Shrine, Decoe, Bocoe and Knuckles exclaimed as they watched with Knuckles having his right eye closed.

Back at a resembled rapid background which was now Blue, Gold and Green, the bright light disappears and it revealed that Sonic and Shadow have transformed into Super Sonic and for the first time ever Super Shadow. Then suddenly at the center, Steven was now seen slightly more muscular and bulkier then in his Primal (First Stage) form, but much less then from his Wrathful (Second Stage) form. Steven's quills were also seen positioned spiked upwards as if he was in a Super form. Steven was now at the next Level of his Potential Power. Steven has now achieved and transformed into Primal Steven (Second Stage). Super Sonic, Super Shadow and Primal Steven (Second Stage) eventually flew upwards.

Back in the Abandoned Lab where Mr. Tanaka, Amy and Chris who was still unconscious in Mr. Tanaka's arms, Amy and Mr. Tanaka continued staring out the window before Super Sonic and Primal Steven (Second Stage) appeared. This caught Amy and Mr. Tanaka by surprise before they turn around towards Super Sonic. "Sonic?" Amy asked before gasped as she noticed Primal Steven (Second Stage). Mr. Tanaka and Chris fully turn towards where Super Sonic and Primal Steven (Second Stage) before Mr. Tanaka also lets out a gasped as he noticed Primal Steven (Second Stage) as well. Super Sonic and Primal Steven (Second Stage) flew towards Chris and Mr. Tanaka before they both put their hands on the sides of Chris' left side of his face and his hair. This caused Chris to groan a bit as he continued having his eyes closed. Super Sonic and Primal Steven (Second Stage) then smiled towards Chris. "Steven..." Amy says before Primal Steven (Second Stage) turns to her. "...Is that you?" Amy asked before Primal Steven (Second Stage) smiles towards her and gives a peace sign, making Amy gasped happily. Super Sonic puts his hand on Primal Steven's (Second Stage) shoulder before giving Amy a thumbs up. Super Sonic and Primal Steven (Second Stage) then disappeared disappearing shortly.

Back outside Space Colony ARK, Super Shadow, Super Sonic and Primal Steven (Second Stage) appeared in front of Space Colony ARK and the FinalHazard. Super Sonic, Super Shadow and Primal Steven (Second Stage) then flew towards where the FinalHazard was. The FinalHazard noticed this before firing a blast towards Super Sonic, Super Shadow and Primal Steven (Second Stage). Super Sonic, Super Shadow and Primal Steven (Second Stage) saw this before they quickly moved out the way as they continue flying forward with their fists out. "Sonic, Shadow, Steven! Can you hear us? He's very weak without his life support system. Aim for the red swelling area to damage him!" Dr. Eggman says from the speakers outside Space Colony ARK off screen, "He's right and you three need energy to stay super-charged! Before your energy is depleted, remember to change places with each other!" Amy says from the speakers outside Space Colony ARK off screen, "So listen, when you take a hit, you won't be able to move so make sure to time your attacks wisely and change places with one another to conserve energy as soon as you can!" Knuckles says from the speakers outside Space Colony ARK off screen, "Once you've change places, make sure to fly in front of him to get to the other side! Good luck to the three of you!" Tails says from the speakers outside Space Colony ARK off screen "You three have made it this far so you three are the only one's who can stop him now!" Afterwards, Super Sonic flew on the left side of the FinalHazard, Super Shadow flew on the right side and Primal Steven (Second Stage) flew back in the center. Super Shadow than looks towards the FinalHazard. "Even with that attack, he's still very powerful. What kind of monster is this?" Super Shadow asked before he looks towards Super Sonic and Primal Steven (Second Stage) across from him. "How are you doing, Sonic and Steven?" Super Shadow asked as Super Sonic grunts a bit while looking towards Super Shadow. "I'm alright, Shadow, but man!" Super Sonic says as he looks towards the FinalHazard. "Where does he get all that power? Is this the power of the Chaos Emeralds?" Super Sonic asked before he looks towards Primal Steven (Second Stage). "Steven, are you okay over there?" Super Sonic asked. Primal Steven (Second Stage) then looked towards Super Sonic and Super Shadow. "Yeah... I'm good, you two. I've just gotta take a breather from that last attack, but..." Primal Steven (Second Stage) says before he looks at himself. "...This power is too much for me to handle right now. I've only just learned how to keep under my command and now I've reached the next level so fast" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says before he looks back towards Super Sonic and Super Shadow. "I've gotta use it wisely or else I'll be washed out, guys" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says, "Yeah...?" Super Sonic asked before he looks towards the FinalHazard again before looking back towards Primal Steven (Second Stage). "Alright, here's the plan! Steven, I'll collect some energy for you!" Super Sonic says before he looks towards Super Shadow, "Shadow, keep the prototype busy for awhile!" Super Sonic says, "Very well!" Super Shadow says before he looks towards Primal Steven (Second Stage). "Steven, keep the beast distracted! I'll destroy it!" Super Shadow says before he flies towards the FinalHazard. "Okay!" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says before he flies towards the FinalHazard as well.

Back in the President's Limousine on Earth, Christina's laptop showed the same windows Dr. Eggman's laptop had and the timer was now at 00:04:14:89 and counting down. "The space colony is still rushing towards us, Mr. President. We're only a few minutes away from impact" Christina says before she looks at the President across from her. This caused the President to hold his head while groaning. Sam's head was then seen moving towards the left before Sam noticed something. "Hey, what's that?" Sam asked.

Outside of the President's Limousine, citizens were still around the area of the traffic jam before Sam was seen stepping out of the drivers seat along with the President and Christina from the back seat. Sam, the President, Christina snd many of the citizens looked up in the sky. In the sky was the same pink circle indicating Space Colony ARK, but there were also three small glowing blue, yellow and green circles flying around the pink circle. The blue circle indicated Super Sonic, the yellow circle indicated Super Shadow and the green circle indicated Primal Steven (Second Stage). Christins then looks back at the laptop she was holding. "We've detected three hedgehogs underneath the colony. They're entering the atmosphere" Christina says, "It's Sonic and Steven. There's no doubt about it!" Sam says, "It's absurd! What can three hedgehogs do at a time like this?" the President asked as he, Sam and the civilians continue looking up. "Sonic... Steven..." a woman says off screen.

Back outside Space Colony, Super Sonic, Super Shadow and Primal Steven (Second Stage) continued battling the FinalHazard while Space Colony ARK continued to be pulled downwards. Super Shadow was seen looking towards Super Sonic. "I'll collect some energy, now it's up to you, Sonic" Super Shadow says before Super Sonic looks at him. "Okay, Shadow. Take a rest. Let me and Steven give it a try" Super Sonic says before he flies towards Primal Steven (Second Stage). Primal Steven (Second Stage) then noticed Super Sonic flying towards him. "Sonic" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says before Super Sonic stops in front of him. "Here, Steven" Super Sonic says before he places a hand on Primal Steven's (Second Stage) head. Super Sonic's hand glowed over Primal Steven's (Second Stage) head for a few seconds before the light dies down. Super Sonic then removes his hand from Primal Steven's (Second Stage) head. "How do you feel now, Steven? A lot better?" Super Sonic asked, "Yeah, much better. Now let's get 'em!" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says before he and Super Sonic fly towards the FinalHazard. "Sonic, we're in danger! The colony will enter the atmosphere in about four minutes!" Knuckles says from the speakers outside Space Colony ARK off screen, causing Super Sonic and Primal Steven (Second Stage) to look a bit shocked and stop flying towards the FinalHazard. "You three heard that!? Hurry!" Dr. Eggman says from the speakers outside Space Colony ARK off screen. Primal Steven (Second Stage) then looks down towards Earth. "Crap! He's right! I can feel the heat pressure increasing!" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says before Super Sonic grunts. "We've gotta end this fast then!" Super Sonic says before he looks towards Super Shadow. "Shadow, how's your energy gathering? We've only got four minutes left so we've gotta end this quick" Super Sonic says before Super Shadow grunts in surprise. Super Shadow then noticed something as he looked at the FinalHazard. Super Shadow noticed many red swellings appearing all over the FinalHazard. "The red swelling may be a weak spot..." Super Shadow says before he looks at Super Sonic and Primal Steven (Second Stage). "Sonic, Steven, let's aim for the red swellings on his body!" Super Shadow says before Super Sonic and Primal Steven (Second Stage) notices the red swelling as well. "Oh! Of course!" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says "All right, let's do it!" Super Sonic says before he and Primal Steven (Second Stage) charge towards the red swellings on the FinalHazard.

Back inside the Abandoned lab of Space Colony ARK, Knuckles, Tails, Rouge, Mr. Tanaka, Chris who is still in Mr. Tanaka's arms and Amy were watching Super Sonic, Super Shadow and Primal Steven (Second Stage) fly all over in Outer Space from the window. Amy was then seen clasping her hands while Chris was also seen awake. "I know that they'll succeed. I believe in them" Amy says, "Sonic... Shadow... Steven..." Chris says. Rouge was then seen looking at her radio in her right hand. "Topaz, can you hear me?" Rouge asked.

Back on Earth with Topaz, she, the Police Officers and the Rogue Agents were also looking up in the sky with Topaz holding her radio in her right hand and in her right ear. "Yes, Rouge. I can hear you! What's going on there? It's Sonic and Steven, right? We can see them too!" Topaz says.

Back in the sky, the big pink circle was still seen along with the three glowing blue, yellow and green circles. "That large red star is the result of a crime that the government covered up 50 years ago" Scarlet says off screen.

On top of a building in Station Square, Scarlet was seen giving the news report with the cameraman recording across from her. The big pink circle along with the two glowing blue and yellow circles were also seen from above behind Scarlet in the sky. "Our generation must take..." Scarlet says as behind the cameraman was Mr. Stewart watching. "...The responsibility" Scarlet says.

At another area in Station Square, Danny, Frances, Helen along with another kid and two grown ups were also looking up at the sky. with mix feelings. "Because looking away from the truth..." Scarlet says from the speakers off screen.

Back outside Space Colony ARK, Super Sonic, Super Shadow and Primal Steven (Second Stage) continue battling the FinalHazard while Space Colony ARK continued to be pulled downwards. Super Shadow was seen on the right side of the FinalHazard, Super Sonic was seen on the left and Primal Steven (Second Stage) was seen on the middle. "However..." Scarlet says from the speakers off screen before the FinalHazard was seen firing a blast towards Super Shadow. "...Three Hedgehogs are..." Scarlet says from the speakers off screen while Super Shadow quickly reacted and dodged the blast. "...Fighting on..." Scarlet says from the speakers off screen as Primal Steven (Second Stage) was seen attacking the FinalHazard by the neck. This caused the FinalHazard to face upwards before turning towards Super Sonic. "...Our behalf..." Scarlet says from the speakers off screen as the FinalHazard fires a blast towards Super Sonic with Super Sonic reacting and going to the right a bit. Super Shadow had a bright light around him as he made his way towards one of the red swellings on the FinalHazard's neck. "...Despite..." Scarlet says from the speakers off screen as Super Shadow went up and Primal Steven (Second Stage) flying above the FinalHazard's neck. "Our..." Scarlet says from the speakers off screen before it shows Super Sonic flying downwards a bit and Primal Steven attacking the FinalHazard's neck. downwards. "...Sins!" Super Shadow was then seen after the bright light around him disappears on the FinalHazard's right side while Super Sonic flies up up a bit and Primal Steven (Second Stage) going back to the center. Suddenly, Super Sonic and Primal Steven (Second Stage) felt something was off before looking towards Super Shadow. "Shadow! Your power is suddenly getting weaker!" Super Sonic says before Super Shadow stops. "Huh?" Super Shadow asked before he felt suddenly weak. This caused him to have his eyes open half way while in a uncomfortable positon. "Gutha!" Super Shadow says, "Shadow!" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says before he flies towards Super Shadow. "Shadow, what's wrong?" Primal Steven (Second Stage) asked, "I don't know, but I don't have enough energy to stay in my Super Form for too long!" Super Shadow says before Primal Steven (Second Stage) brings his right hand out. "Here, let me give you some of my energy" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says as he was about to put his right hand on Super Shadow's but, but Super Shadow grabbed it. "No! We need all the energy we need to stop the ARK!" Super Shadow says before Primal Steven (Second Stage) gasped a bit. "But Shadow...!" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says, "I'll be fine. Just focus on your own energy" Super Shadow says before he closes his eyes and growls while trying to get his strength. Super Shadow stops growling and opens his eyes slowly. "I won't go down that easily" Super Shadow says before Super Sonic flies up to him and Primal Steven (Second Stage) says. "How are we doing over here?" Super Sonic asked before Super Shadow turns to him. "We've only got a minimum of energy left and were wasting too much time just to destroy the prototype. Soon this Planet will be nothing but a rubble!" Super Shadow says off screen before Primal Steven (Second Stage) looks towards the FinalHazard. "We've already took out most of the red swelling on it's body and every attack we give it, it keeps getting back up! There's gotta be one last thing we haven't tried attacking it at!" Super Sonic says off screen. "Double Boost. It's when two people team up and create a speed up that's doubled than my average speed up" Sonic says in Steven's head off screen, "Double Boost... But..." Primal Steven (Second Stage) says in his head before he looks towards Super Shadow. "But there's three of us... So what if we make it... A... Super Triple Boost...?" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says in his head before he clenches his fists. Primal Steven (Second Stage) then looks towards Super Sonic and Super Shadow. "Okay, guys listen!" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says before Super Sonic and Super Shadow turn to him. "I've got an idea! Now I don't know if we can pull this off with the three of us, but I think we can one-shot this if we work together!" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says, "What is it, Steven?" Super Sonic asked, "Let's perform a Super Triple Boost" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says before Super Sonic gasped in surprise while Super Shadow listened. "A Super Triple Boost? Steven, are you sure about this?" Super Sonic asked, "Steven, what are you talking about?" Super Shadow asked before Primal Steven (Second Stage) looks at Super Sonic. "Sonic, remember back when we first arrived on Earth that you said that when two people team up, they can create a more powerful speed up than a normal speed up, right? Well if we use this opportunity to perform not just a Double, but a Triple Boost. And this could be a good thing too because we're above a limit with strength and speed that can effect the prototype. So if we do a Triple Boost in our Super forms, then I think we can defeat the prototype, stop the ARK from crashing and save Planet Earth and millions of lives!" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says before Super Sonic groans a bit. "I don't know, Steven. I've never done a Double Boost in my Super form and I've certainly never done a Triple Boost before. It may be too much of a big risk" Super Sonic says, "I know, but look. We aren't strong enough to..." Primal Steven (Second Stage) says before he looks towards Super Shadow. "...Defeat the prototype by just taking turns..." Primal Steven (Second Stage) ays before he looks back at Super Sonic. "...But there's three of us" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says before he puts his right hand on Super Shadow's shoulder and looks at Super Shadow. "Your strength in following your pride..." Primal Steven (Second Stage) says before he looks at Super Sonic while putting his left hand on Super Sonic's shoulder. "...You're strength in following your heart and my..." Primal Steven (Second Stage) says as he looked up a bit. "...Strength in giving hope. Together" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says as he looks at Super Shadow. "That's how we'll win" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says, "So this is where we put all our differences aside to work together and save the one thing we desire. Hmph. Very well then. I'll follow along" Super Shadow says before Primal Steven (Second Stage) turns to Super Sonic. "Sonic...?" Primal Steven (Second Stage) asked. Super Sonic stays silent for a bit before slowly smiling. "Okay. Let's show this ugly beast what we're really made of!" Super Sonic says before he, Super Shadow and Primal Steven (Second Stage) turn their heads towards FinalHazard. "This is it" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says as he, Super Sonic and Super Shadow face the FinalHazard. "This... Is our... Moment!" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says as he, Super Sonic and Super Shadow glare towards the FinalHazard.

In the forest of Mystic Ruins, Big and Froggy were seen looking upwards. "Hurry, Steven!" Big says before Froggy hops and croaks.

Outside of the Rental Apartment building, Chuck, Ella, Cream, Cheese and E-77 Lucky were seen looking upwards. "Please, Sonic and Steven..." Cream says.

Inside the Rental Apartment, Cream, Cheese and E-77 Lucky looked worried. "Chao, chao!" Cheese says, "Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep!" E-77 Lucky says.

With Bokkun, he was also seen looking up while standing on something. "Don't give up!" Bokkun says before it revealed he was standing on the Egg Golem's left shoulder while the Egg Golem was seen standing on top of Dr. Eggman's Hidden Base pyramid.

Back outside Space Colony ARK, the FinalHazard fires a three-way blast from it's mouth. Super Sonic, Super Shadow and Primal Steven (Second Stage) saw this before dodging them. "Alright! Are you two ready!?" Super Shadow says before he turns towards Primal Steven (Second Stage). "You know it!" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says before he turns to Super Sonic. "Sonic!?" Primal Steven (Second Stage) asked, "Okay! There's nothing..." Super Sonic says as he boosts forward. "...The three..." Super Sonic says off screen as Super Shadow boosts forward as well. "Of us..." Super Sonic says off screen Primal Steven (Second Stage) boosts forward too. "Can't achieve together!" Super Sonic says before it shows him, Super Shadow and Primal Steven (Second Stage) forming an upside down triangular formation. As this happened, Super Sonic, Super Shadow and Primal Steven (Second Stage) showed signs of burst auras in the front with Super Sonic having a blue burst aura, Super Shadow having a Red burst aura and Primal Steven (Second Stage) having a Green burst aura. "Victory is ours for the taking!" Super Sonic says before he, Super Shadow and Primal Steven (Second Stage) begin to spin at a rapid torpedo way while charging towards the FinalHazard. "SUPER TRIPLE BOOST!" Super Sonic, Super Shadow and Primal Steven (Second Stage) said at the same time as they continued spinning before yelling and charging forward. Super Sonic, Super Shadow and Primal Steven (Second Stage) charged straight at the FinalHazard's life support system and smashed through the glass area. This caused the glass area of the life-support system to shatter and for a huge explosion to happen in the life support system in the process. As the explosion happened, this caused the FinalHazard to get caught and get disintegrate in it, marking the end of its lifespan.

Back outside Space Colony ARK, Space Colony ARK was about to enter Earth's atmosphere and this caused the air to heat up with fiery flames along with a bright light in the center of Space Colony ARK. This also caused the area to slowly go red all around. Super Sonic, Super Shadow and Primal Steven (Second Stage) fly up to Space Colony ARK in the front. Super Sonic then brought his hands out forward. "You're stopping right here!" Super Sonic says before Primal Steven (Second Stage) brought his hands out forward. "Here we go!" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says before Super Shadow grunts and brings his his hands out forward too. Super Sonic, Super Shadow and Primal Steven (Second Stage) held their position as Space Colony ARK and the bright light continue diving closer. Super Sonic, Super Shadow and Primal Steven (Second Stage) grunted as they felt the push force getting stronger while they still hold their own. Super Sonic, Super Shadow and Primal Steven (Second Stage) grunted as they felt the push force getting stronger while they still hold their own. "Hang in there, Sonic!" Tails says off screen, "Hang in there, Shadow!" Dr. Eggman says off screen, "Hang in there, Steven!" Big says off screen, "We're counting on the three of you!" Rouge says off screen, "Don't give up!" Tikal's voice says off screen. This caused Primal Steven (Second Stage) to gasped. Suddenly, Tikal was seen transparent from behind Steven while smiling towards him. Tikal's transparent physical form puts a hand on primal Steven's (Second Stage) shoulder. "Remember my promise to you, Steven" Tikal says before her transparent physical form disappears from behind Primal Steven (Second Stage). Suddenly, Primal Steven (Second Stage) looked serious and growled. Primal Steven (Second Stage) then lets out a yell before his green aura appeared all around him and charged up his power. Super Sonic and Super Shadow noticed this before turning their heads towards Primal Steven (Second Stage). Suddenly, Primal Steven (Second Stage) flies forward passed Super Sonic and Super Shadow with them looking shocked. "Steven!" Super Sonic and Super Shadow said at the same time. Primal Steven was seen flying forward while the pressure kept intensifying and pushing him back. Suddenly as Space Colony ARK continued getting close towards Earth, Primal Steven began to show signs of the air heating up all around him as he continued flying forward. This also caused the entire area of Space to slowly almost get fully red. Primal Steven (Second Stage) grunted as he kept pushing himself forward until he he stopped and positioned himself. Primal Steven (Second Stage) puts his hands and a suddenly, the pressure shield from Space Colony ARK made contact with his hands. This caused Primal Steven (Second Stage) to get slowly pushed back. Primal Steven (Second Stage) grunted as he felt the force pushing him back as he kept holding on. Primal Steven (Second Stage) then turned his head behind a bit. "Sonic, Shadow, I've brought you some time! Quick! Now's your chance!" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says as Super Sonic and Super Shadow looked surprised. "Steven..." Super Sonic says before turning towards Super Shadow. "Shadow, now's our chance to use Chaos Control! Let's go!" Super Sonic says before he flies forward. Super Shadow watched Super Sonic and Primal Steven (Second Stage) from afar before grunting and flying forward. Super Shadow made it to Super Sonic's level and they both held their hands upwards with Super Sonic holding his left hand up and Super Shadow holding his right hand up. Suddenly, a big golden light formed all around Super Sonic and Super Shadow as they continued flying upwards. Primal Steven (Second Stage) was seen still holding his grip of Space Colony ARK while getting pushed back and grunting. Suddenly, Primal Steven's (Second Stage) Metal Force Outfit began to show signs of crumbling due to the intensified heat.

In a rapid golden background, Super Sonic and Super Shadow were seen still having their hands up and fly upwards. "No way that's getting through!" Super Sonic says.

Back outside Space Colony ARK, the golden light that Super Sonic and Super Shadow were in kept flying towards Space Colony ARK.

Back in the rapid golden background, Super Sonic and Super Shadow continued having their hands up and flying forward. "Shadow, I beg of you...!" Maria says off screen, causing Super Shadow to be surprised. "Maria!" Super Shadow says before Maria's face reflection was then seen over Super Shadow's face a bit. "Please grant everyone's wish. Give them a chance to be happy" Maria says before her reflection disappears. Super Shadow then looked serious. "I am Shadow!" Super Shadow says before he grunts and swings his arms up. "Shadow..." Super Shadow says before he brings his hands down. "...The Hedgehog!" Super Shadow says. Suddenly, Shadow's inhibitor rings along with the red straps fly off of both his hands. This caused Super Shadow to release his Full Power aura. "Can you hear me?" Super Shadow asked, "You bet!" Super Sonic says before he grunts while swinging his arms up and puts them down. "I..." Super Sonic says before he releases his Full Power aura. "...Can hear you!" Super Sonic says.

Back outside Space Colony ARK, the golden light Super Sonic and Super Shadow were in increased in size and flew faster towards the Space Colony ARK. Eventually, the golden light merged into Space Colony ARK.

Back in the rapid golden background, Super Sonic and Super Shadow were seen next to Primal Steven (Second Stage) who was seen in between them. Suddenly, a big ball of light was seen in both Super Sonic and Super Shadow's hands. Primal Steven (Second Stage) looked at the big ball of light before gasping and looking at Super Sonic and Super Shadow. "Sonic, Shadow!" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says before Super Sonic looks towards him. "Steven, get ready to push this towards the ARK!" Super Sonic says before he looks towards Super Shadow. "Shadow, now's the time!" Super Sonic says before he looks upwards. Primal Steven (Second Stage) positions his hands before looking towards Super Shadow who continued looking upwards. "Shadow!" Primal Steven (Second Stage) says before Super Shadow looks up at him for a brief moment before looking back at the big ball of light. Super Sonic and Super Shadow then turn towards each other. "Chaos Control!" Super Sonic and Super Shadow said at the same time before the big ball of light they were holding expands and this caused Super Sonic and Super Shadow to get pushed back away from it and Primal Steven (Second Stage). Primal Steven's (Second Stage) hands made contact with the huge ball of light and Primal Steven (Second Stage) lets out a yell before the big ball of light bounces away from Primal Steven and fly upwards towards Space Colony ARK. This caused Primal Steven (Second Stage) to get pushed back as well.

Back outside Space Colony ARK, the big ball of light gets flown towards Space Colony ARK and it expands tremendously, engulfing Space Colony ARK and causing a bright light to happen all around the engulfed Space Colony ARK in the process. This also caused flashes and electricity to spark throughout the engulfed Space Colony ARK. After a few seconds, the bright light eventually gulfs up the entirety of Space Colony ARK, the whole area of Space and the screen.

After a couple of seconds, the bright light dies out and everything was now suddenly calm with only Earth being seen. Suddenly, Steven who was seen reverted back to normal was seen unconscious while floating in Outer Space upside down. After a few seconds, Steven stirs a bit before opening his eyes a bit.

In Steven's point of view, his eyes were seen blurred out as he looked around Outer Space and Earth. "Did we... Do it...?" Steven asked off screen.

Back in Outer Space, Steven slowly reached his right hand towards his eyes while twitching and groaning. After a few seconds, Steven rubbed his eyes. "Oh... I... I think I... I pushed my body too much... That last move... Really... Worn me out so much... I don't have the... The energy to move anymore..." Steven says as before he moved his right hand from his eyes. Steven then slowly opens his eyes and saw he was floating in Space. "Everything looks so... Calm now... Wait... Where are Sonic and... Shadow...?" Steven asked before there was a golden figure being seen slowly getting pulled down towards Earth's atmosphere. "What... What's that over there...?" Steven asked before he adjusts his eyes a bit. As Steven adjusted his eyes, his eyes focused on the golden figure. After a few seconds, Steven's eyes were then seen clear and the golden figure revealed to be Super Shadow. This made Steven gasped a bit. "Shadow... Wait, why isn't he...? Wait... Don't tell me he..." Steven says before he gasped again. "No... No, no, no... No, no, no, no, no! Shadow, hey! Wake up! Shadow! Shadow" Steven says before he grunted and slowly begin to move his whole body around. After a few seconds, Steven manages to roll over right side up. "Shadow!" Steven says before he began doing swimming movements. This caused Steven to move forward towards where Super Shadow was. Steven grunted as he kept swimming faster in the Space air towards Super Shadow. "Come on, body...! Hurry!" Steven says as he kept swimming in Space towards Super Shadow. "Almost there...!" Steven says before he reached his hand out towards Super Shadow. After a few seconds, Steven grabs Super Shadow's right hand before sighing in relief. Steven then grabs Super Shadow by the shoulders before shaking him. "Shadow, wake up! Hey, Shadow!" Steven says. Suddenly, Super Shadow stirs a bit. Super Shadow then looks towards Steven. "Steven...?" Shadow asked before Steven smiled. "We did it, Shadow... We fulfilled Everyone's Wish... Even Maria's Wish... Just like you promised..." Steven says before Super Shadow slowly smiles. "That's good..." Super Shadow says, "Come on... We've gotta find Sonic... And... Get outta... Here..." Steven says before he began pulling Super Shadow while also trying to swim in mid-air Space. Super Shadow looked towards Steven with a neutral look for a bit before putting a hand on the wrist Steven was grabbing him from. "Steven..." Super Shadow says before Steven turned towards Super Shadow. "Listen... You need... To take good care of everyone... On Earth for me..." Super Shadow says, "Huh?" Steven asked before Shadow looked towards Earth down on the right. "Take care of everyone? But... You, me and Sonic can do that together, right?" Steven asked off screen as Super Shadow continued looking towards Earth while Steven kept looking at him in confusion. "You can finally live on Earth in peace just like Maria wanted you to, can't you Shadow? Shadow?" Steven asked off screen as Shadow kept staring down at Earth. Steven didn't like where this was going. "Why would you say that? Shadow, what are you talking about...? What do you mean 'Take care of everyone on Earth'...?" Steven asked before Super Shadow looks at him. "...I want you to continue living your life as well as getting stronger with your new found power..." Super Shadow says before Steven looked a bit surprised. "...As for me, I'll finally get to be with Maria again..." Super Shadow says before Steven gasped. After a few seconds, Steven then looked angry towards Shadow. "...Y-You know remember when I told you how helpless I felt when I tried to save that special someone!? Well I told myself I wouldn't make that same mistake if I ran into a problem like that! So don't you tell me you're just gonna throw everything you've work hard for the whole time you were awakened away because I'm not gonna let that happen! Come on! Stop messing around and let's go! You're not dying on my watch, okay!?" Steven asked off screen before he began to swim in mid-air faster while still holding onto Super Shadow. "Steven... Stop it... You know these things have to happen..." Super Shadow says before Steven stops swimming in mid-air and looks back towards Super Shadow. Steven's eyes were then seen to be shining. "And for what!? What is you sacrificing everything you've went through gonna do!? Nothing! Everything you've accomplished for the passed few days and even on the day you were created will just be a waste if this is how you want to end it! Nobody won't remember or know in the future who Shadow the Hedgehog was or what he did to save all of humanity! It'll all just come back to either me or Sonic!" Steven says before tears began to fall from his eyes. "Come on, Shadow! You've still got a whole life to go through and even if you still have a small grudge against humans back then, I can still help you make it for the better! So stop being an idiot and just let me help you!" Steven says before he realized what he said and puts a hand on his mouth. Steven and Super Shadow looked at each other for a few seconds. "...Steven... From what I've learned about you from then... I've finally realized... That you are someone I can considered to be known as a true Ultimate Life form..." Super Shadow says before Steven looked at him in shock. "Huh!?" Steven asked. Suddenly, Super Shadow looks down towards his left hand and brings it up. In Super Shadow's left hand were his Inhibitor Rings that came off when he let out a powerful aura. Super Shadow then brought his left hand with the Inhibitor Rings towards Steven. "Here..." Super Shadow says, "...Shadow... What...?" Steven asked, "...If you wear these Inhibitor Rings, your energy will be conserved and you won't have to use too much power on the battlefield... I'm giving these to you now..." Super Shadow says.

A flashback shows an event that happened on Chapter/Episode 34. "If I'd..." Shadow says as he raises his right fist up while looking towards Sonic who was on the ground. "...Have taken off these Inhibitor Rings, you would have been dead" Shadow says.

Back to reality, Steven continued looking at the Inhibitor Rings on Super Shadow's left hand. "Steven..." Super Shadow says before Steven looks at him. "Please... I need you to continue using your Power for good and for protecting everyone on Earth... I know you can do this..." Super Shadow says. Steven and Shadow looked at each other again for another few seconds. Steven then closes his eyes before wiping them a bit. "So..." Steven says before he opens his eyes as he still had a few more tears in his eyes. "So this is it...?" Steven asked before Super Shadow nodded. "Hurry... You're running out of time from falling into Earth's atmosphere... Please, Steven..." Super Shadow says. Super Shadow and Steven looked at each other again before Steven slowly and hesitantly reached his hand out towards the Inhibitor Rings. After a few more seconds, Steven accepts the Inhibitor Rings from Shadow. Steven then looked at the Inhibitor Rings in his hand. "Steven... There's something you must know..." Super Shadow says off screen before he slowly smiles. "...You've never ceased to surprise me..." Super Shadow says. Steven looked at Super Shadow in surprise until suddenly, Super Shadow karate chops Steven on the neck. This caused Steven to yell before closing his eyes unconsciously. Super Shadow picks Steven up before looking forward. Suddenly, Super Sonic makes his appearance and looks at Super Shadow. Super Sonic then flies towards Super Shadow. "Shadow, I understand now" Super Sonic says off screen before he stops in front of Super Shadow and unconscious Steven. "And don't worry. Steven will too" Super Sonic says off screen before Super Shadow nodded. Super Shadow then handed unconscious Steven towards Super Sonic before Super Sonic takes and Steven. Super Sonic looked at unconscious Steven while smiling. Super Sonic and Super Shadow then looked at each other again. "You two get out of here... I'm counting on you, Sonic..." Super Shadow says, "Right" Super Sonic says before he turns around and flies upwards with unconscious Steven while Super Shadow watches. Super Sonic then stops and turns to Super Shadow while smiling. "Shadow, thanks..." Super Sonic says before Super Shadow smiles and chuckles a bit. "I should be thanking you, Sonic..." Super Shadow says, "Nah. We both played a part in Steven's life and we loved every minute of it... " Super Sonic says before suddenly, Super Shadow was seen getting pulled towards Earth intensively. "Goodbye, Shadow..." Super Sonic says before he and unconscious Steven fly off. Super Shadow watched them leave before he brings his arms out. This caused for him to get pulled towards Earth quicker. "Maria... this is what you wanted, right? This is my promise I made to you" Super Shadow says in his head before he disappears towards Earth with a twinkle in the end, thus ending the Ultimate Life form's life. Suddenly after a few more seconds, Space Colony ARK reappeared above Earth with sparkles flying out as it was now at its staple state once again.

Back at the timer, the timer was seen paused at 00:00:50:29.

Back in Station Square on Earth, all the citizens cheered while there were small colorful orbs gliding down from the sky. "They did it! Thank you, Sonic and Steven!" the civilians said at the same time.

Back at the area where the President, Sam and Christina who was on the phone were, they and the rest of the civilians also looked up at the sky while more colorful orbs continue gliding down. Christina puts the phone down and looks at the President on the left. "The Space Bureau..." Christina says before the President looks at her. "...Just reported in. They said that the space colony has stopped at position L1" Christina says before the President looks up again. "They're heroes" the President says before Christina takes her glasses off while having her eyes closed. "Now that we're adults, we could never have accomplished such a feat" Christina says, "No it's never too late..." Sam says before Christina and the President look at him on the right. "As long as we never give up, just like them" Sam says before he looks at the President and Christina. "Don't you agree?" Sam asked before Christina looks up at the sky. "Yes, I suppose you're right. You know after everything that's happened, I feel we should help rebuilt and pay for any expenses at Steven's home as well as resign him back to G.U.N as a way of apologizing to him" the President says before he turns to Christina. "Wouldn't you agree?" the President asked, "I'll make the call as soon as possible" Christina says, "Great" the President says before he and Christina look back up in the sky. "Sonic, Steven... Thank you" Sam says in his head.

Above Station Square, the small colorful orbs continued gliding down from the sky. "My grandfather was truly a genius who accomplished great things in his life. Ever since I was child, he was my one true hero and I always dreamed to become a great scientist like him" Dr. Eggman says from a radio off screen.

Back inside the ARK: Research Facility of Space Colony ARK, Mr. Tanaka, Chris, Amy, Tails, Knuckles and Rouge were seen looking out the window of a Space Shuttle leaving Space Colony ARK and towards Earth. "But... I wonder if he really meant to kill us?" Dr. Eggman asked from a radio off screen before it reveal Tails holding a radio in his right hand while still looking out the window. Amy then turns to Tails. "I don't know. But what I do know is... We accomplished what we had to do together!" Tails says, "That's true. But next time, I'm going to accomplish what I have to do. I'm going to conquer the world!" Dr. Eggman says from the radio off screen before Amy gives a questionable look with Tails looking at her. "Huh?" Amy asked before she puts her hands on her hips and gets her face closer towards Tails and the radio. "You're still not giving up?" Amy asked, "Affirmative!" Decoe says from the radio off screen before Tails and Amy look at each other questionably. "Next time we meet, we're showing no mercy!" Bocoe says from the radio off screen before Tails looks back at the window. "Same here!" Tails says. Chris, Amy and Tails watch the Space Shuttle continue flying away from Space Colony ARK and towards Earth while Dr. Eggman laughs maniacally from the radio off screen. Suddenly, sounds of a door opening was heard before Chris, Amy, Tails, Knuckles and Rouge turn around with Chris, Amy and Tails smiling in surprise. Sonic and Steven who was awake were seen at the doorway and also holding one of Shadow's Inhibitor Rings in his right hand. "Sonic! Steven!" Amy, Tails and Chris said at the same time off screen before Sonic smiles. Steven then walked towards the windows while Mr. Tanaka, Chris, Amy, Tails, Knuckles and Rouge watch him. Steven reaches the window and puts his hands on the glass while looking out the window. "Steven..." Chris asked before he turns towards Sonic. Chris then walks up to Sonic nervously with Sonic looking at him. "What's wrong with Steven...? And where's Shadow?" Chris asked before Sonic looks down, closes his eyes and shakes his head slightly before opening his eyes a bit. Chris, Mr. Tanaka, Amy, Tails, Knuckles and Rouge had mix feelings as it slowly came to an understanding to them. Chris, Mr. Tanaka, Amy, Tails, Knuckles and Rouge then looked towards Steven who kept looking out the window while also having his eyes shine again. "Oh..." Chris says before he turns back towards Sonic. Sonic brings his right hand out towards Chris and it revealed one of Shadow's inhibiter rings. Chris takes the inhibiter ring from Sonic's hand before looking at it while Sonic puts his right arm down. "Do you really think... That Gerald created Shadow to carry out the revenge on all those who live there, on Earth?" Rouge asked, "He was who he was: a brave and heroic hedgehog, who sacrificed his life to save his planet. Shadow the Hedgehog..." Sonic says off screen before tears began to form in Chris' eyes. Chris closes his eyes as he held the inhibitor ring closer to himself. "He's Shadow the Hedgehog" Sonic says off screen as Chris' tear from his right eye falls on the inhibitor ring, causing a sparkle splash to happen. Everyone still had their mix feeling looks while Knuckles and Rouge had their eyes closed. "I guess you're right..." Rouge says off screen as Steven kept looking out the window. Footsteps were heard and a hand was seen going on right shoulder Steven's shoulder. Steven then looks on the right to see Sonic who as smiling at him. "You okay, partner?" Sonic asked before Steven looks back at the window. "...I don't know... It's just a lot to take in..." Steven says before another hand was placed on his left shoulder. Steven looks to the left to see Rouge looking at him. "I understand it wasn't easy, but remember, we have to move on at some point" Rouge says before Steven looks back at the window. "I know... It's just... Well after everything that's happened... I've learned that morality isn't always about who's right and who's wrong as some people think" Steven says.

Back outside Space Colony ARK, Steven continued talking from the window with Sonic and Rouge still looking at him. "...Sometimes you do things because you think it's right even if everyone else thinks it's wrong..." Steven says.

Back inside the ARK: Research facility of Space Colony ARK, Steven continued talking. "...I think Gerald was just angry because Maria was taken from him. Maybe... Maybe Gerald, Shadow and even me are more alike than I thought... We felt helpless for what happened to that person and tried to stop it, but in the end, it didn't work out well... And because of that... We lost it... I think it's safe to say that we all have our good and bad days and... We have to do our best to overcome it... So that we can do it for the better... And that's what I wanted to do for Shadow... He was never evil. Eggman just manipulated him when really, Shadow was a Hero in the beginning of his lifespam" Steven says, "He sure was" Sonic says, "Yeah. Hmm... Him and Maria would have loved to visit Earth... I wish I could do something to make that happen" Steven says before he looks down on his right hand that had the other Inhibitor Ring. "Us too, Steven. Us too" Rouge says, "Steven?" Chris asked off screen before Steven, Sonic and Rouge turn towards him. Chris was seen walking towards Steven while still holding on the other Inhibitor Ring. Chris then stops in front of Steven. "Did Shadow..." Chris says as he holds his hand that had the Inhibitor Ring. "...Give these to you?" Chris asked before Steven smiles a bit. "Yeah. He told me he wants me to continue getting stronger so he gave me..." Steven says as he holds his Inhibitor Ring up. "...These so I won't have to use too much of my power. I still can't believe I have full control on it now so now I've got a lot of training to do now" Steven says. Chris looks down at the Inhibitor Ring in his hand before looking serious. Chris walks up to Steven and takes Steven's other hand. "Chris...?" Steven asked before Chris hands Steven his Inhibitor Ring on Steven's other hand. "Then take advantage of it. You need these more than I do so I'm giving you mine" Chris says before Steven looked a bit surprised. "Steven, promise Shadow that you'll grow strong" Chris says before he walks up to the window next to Steven. "So he can see who you truly are" Chris says. Steven looks down at the Inhibitor Rings before smiling a bit. Steven then clenched both of his fists that had the Inhibitor Rings. "I promise..." Steven says. Mr. Tanaka, Chris, Amy, Tails, Knuckles, Rouge and Sonic watch as Steven looks down at his hands before he begins to put the Inhibitor Rings on his wrists. Once the Inhibitor Rings were on Steven's wrist, they glowed for a second before stopping. Steven now had the Inhibitor Rings in his possession. "How do you feel, Steven?" Knuckles asked, "I... I feel like... I can do anything now..." Steven says before he looks out the window again. Steven then slowly smiles. "Thank you, Shadow..." Steven says. Sonic then puts his hands on Chris and Steven's backs. "Come on, guys" Sonic says off screen as he pats Chris and Steven's backs. Chris and Steven turn to Sonic while Sonic removed his hand from their backs. "Let's go home" Sonic says before he turns to everyone else. "Back to the..." Sonic says before Steven and Chris fully turn around and look at everyone while Chris smiled slightly. "...Planet as cool and blue as me!" Sonic says before Steven chuckles a bit. "Yeah. I can't wait to go back home too" Steven says before he realizes something. "Oh wait. I forget my home's been raided and I've gotta see Lucky to let him know I'm okay. Oh man, I've gotta a lot to do when I get back down there" Steven says before Sonic turns to him. "Don't worry. Remember, with the two of us, we can do anything" Sonic says before he brings his fist forward towards Steven. "Right" Steven says before he and Sonic do a fist bump. The window of Space Colony ARK that showed Earth was seen to the readers. "The Shuttle is ready for takeoff. It's time to go" Tails says off screen. After a few minutes, Amy, Rouge, Knuckles, Mr. Tanaka, Chris, Steven and Sonic were seen walking out of the area. Sonic and Steven stop walking as everyone else continued walking before the room behind Sonic and Steven lights turn off. Sonic and Steven then look at the room which was now dark and only had Earth glowing from the windows. "Sayonara..." Sonic and Steven said in their heads at the same time as Steven did a small wave. "...Shadow the Hedgehog" Sonic and Steven said in their heads at the same time. After a couple of seconds, Sonic pats Steven's back and they turn their heads around and leave the area. The door to the room then closed behind Sonic and Steven. The area continued being seen with Earth still glowing from the windows.

Back in Outer Space, Planet Earth was fully seen. Suddenly, an image of Shadow appeared in front of Earth while being surrounded by a purple glow before words formed at the bottom. The words were "A new day brings new adventure. But for now... Rest easy heroes". With that beings said, this now finally concludes the entirety of Steven the Hedgehog's story in the Shadow/Sonic Adventure 2 Saga.
