{ A Chief's Duty Part 2 }

... I will not blame the entire dragon race for something small. It's simply stupid to even think of doing that. But, I would completely blame these who attacked my town just because I was a "servant" of Kkulf Kkulf.

To be honest, I kind of expected this to happen.

My eye gleamed as I glared towards the dragons, gaining some information out of them. There were two green dragons, one Gale Dragon and one Wind Dragon, and the others were just ordinary Brown Dragons. All around Level 130 - 140 and Level Caps were around 200 - 248. Combined, they were all pretty damn strong, even if my level was seemingly higher then theirs.

Still, I do not have the intention to back out.

And then, a big battle came loose.

I stood my ground, and extended my hand towards one of the dragons, especially the weakest one of the bunch, and immediately fired a Zetton towards it.

In surprise, the dragon and two others near it weren't able to react and were heavily wounded from the explosion.

Of course, because some of the dragons sensed the danger, they were able to dodge, yet sustained minor injuries that wouldn't hinder then.

The remaining dragons that were alive roared at me angrily in response, no need for other words and went straight to the point.

I clashed claws with the dragons several times, making loud sounds and powerful shockwaves that destroy the ground and everything surrounding me and the dragons.

Eventually, I was hit by a quick whip from the Gale Dragon's tail, sending me back a few meters away.

"Die!!!" The Wind Dragon shouted, sending a powerful blast of wind towards me.

I breathed out air, and felt my heart beat faster and louder. Is this the feeling of adrenaline? The feeling that everything has become intense?

I braced myself, crossing my arms and receiving the blast of wind to my entire body. I was being pushed back, but I held my ground and dispersed the blast of wind with some difficulty.

Wiping the blood from my mouth, I prepared myself.

"Reinforcement, Level 1." I whispered, sending a pulse of mána around my body and magically enhancing my entire body.

Then, I leapt towards the dragons, who I know were not going to retreat, and then gave one of the brown dragons a kick to it's jaw, then blasting it's face with a Black Destruction Beam, killing it in the process. I then proceeded to kill the other brown dragons by piercing their hearts using magic.

And of course, I feel a little drained from the continous usage of mana, but I'm still fine!

"Damn you...!" The Gale Dragon shouted in rage, and his comrades shared the same feeling as him.

Then, the Gale and Wind Dragons went side by side and started charging up something very dangerous.

Winds started blowing harder, and were starting to converge towards both dragons.

This is what they wanted to do, right?

Fine, I'll use my own finisher move too. Just a simple finishing move that uses up intense amounts of mana, but I don't thing using up a huge part of my mana would make a difference, dragons are very powerful creatures, after all. They don't even think they intend to hold back now that I have killed some of their own.

Guess I'll use up 90 percent, no, all of my remaining mana. I'll take a massive gamble, right now.

Mine and my tribespeople's lives, or theirs.

I leaned forward, focusing all of my mana to flow towards the space between and slightly above my horns.

I could feel it, my body weakening, yet I stood my ground, an orb made out of my own mana was ready to fire.

I glanced at the sides, and all the Lis were looking at me with hopeful expressions.

I only gave them a toothy grin that is full of confidence, one which made sure that their hopes never die.

"Kayblis... METEOR CANNON ATTACK!!!!" I shouted, willing the ball of mana into a massive blue laser, obliterating everything in front of me, even overpowering the combined attack from the dragons very easily.

I don't know how powerful it was, but when the attack was over, the mountain that was probably tens of kilometers had it's top removed pretty easily. Unfortunately, I was forced back into my fluffball Lis state. Anyways,

"Well, let's get out of here now." I said to my tribespeople, urging them to go with me somewhere, following the river's stream.

But, we had to first pack up, and eat what we can, our journey is long and requires a lot of energy.

Did I mention I had to cook dragon meat?

A boy stood nearby a shore, looking at the morning sky. Of course, we already know him as the MC, Kayblis.

"Hm, things are progressing greatly." He said confidently, turning around to see that a village, bigger than what he had expected it to be.

Several Lis were doing some jobs, and even though they were all different, like for example, there were horned Lis, and hornless Lis. All round, as expected from the Round Ones. Plus, the evolutionary trait did something like a birth of the new Lis race.

Humans.

No, not kidding. Humans, as in Humanoid Lis that were born as strange humanoids. Though they all look more human than humanoid.

One triggering difference is that even if they grow up fast, they would only grow up to be around 130 to 145 cm tall. Meaning, they're all shotas and lolis.

Currently, there were only 10 of them, including him.

Strangely enough, they were very intelligent, and learned faster than ordinary Lis. And they can do what normal Lis could not do.

Oh well, he's got more jobs to do right now.
