the next day ben walked to his school thinking about what to do 'I need to help the two of them to make nanites and make an acceptable paper, then make those floating cars then make the ultimate smoothie then open up an smoothie shop'.
Ben arrived at the school a little early compared to usually he was still thinking where will it lead him to his current decisions some he looked forward to some he felt complicated like the nanites spoke homeroom started and ben saw that Miss smith was not present and instead of her all ben got was an old man who talked like an dead ghost.
'Where did she go, as much as she hates work she isn't one to take an day off like that'.
ben asked around for her but no one had seen her and the teachers said that she was tired so she took an leave but ben knew that it wasn't true cause he had seen her just yesterday evening and she seemed fine.
Soon school ended ben aside form discussing with Melissa and Brenna about the nanites during lunch.
they were discussing where to make them Melissa proposed that her dads lab will be best but both ben and Brenna shot that idea down her father wont let her make nanites cause he'll think that Melissa was obsessed with having an quirk and will talk her out of it. two if the higher ups ended up discovering about this then they will cancel it no matter what cause they will think that it will break the balance of the world and even if they agreed ben knew that they will think about the money and and its weapon potential and snatch there work from them.
after an hour later the three of them decided that Ben's lab will be the one where they will make there semi HQ where majority of development will take place, Melissa was the head of the whole operation, she was responsible for micro-engineering and artificial intelligence Brenna was responsible for bio-mechanical integration and system and ben was responsible for second checking there work and coding. Ben's job was basically to check there work, test it and make sure that all doesn't hit an shit storm, that's the biggest reason they decided to make Ben's lab there HQ since Ben's job comes at the last step.
Later they decided to make plans about there nanite project.
"Well this is the first day of our nanites project today we will be discussing there production" Melissa said wearing glasses while pointing at the blue hologram.
"How about an nanite factory?" Breanna raised her hand and said "you know we build an factory where you can refill your nanites in case you ever run out".
"Yeah that's good and all but with that she will have to go to the factory every day to raise her nanite levels" ben pointed out "not to mention that if she ever runs out of nanites in an battle then she might die".
"I can die!, if I run out of nanites?" Melissa said shocked.
"Well with an project as delicate as this you have 50% chances of dying when we inject you with nanites". Brenna said.
"only if we screw up that is" ben reassured her.
Melissa nodded but was still a bit shaken.
"well we can figure something out later first we need to make nanites" ben said seeing her like that.
They all nodded and walked to there table which was showing an hologram of the nanite that Melissa made "I made 2 designs and only one of them worked remotely close to what I wanted" she told them they looked as she pointed to an square with rods poking out from its sides "this is the first one it failed, I couldn't make the nanites coordinate with each other".
Then she pointed to chip like one "this one coordinated with other nanites but something was wrong anything that i commanded it to make they all broke broke after an second or two" she said "I haven't figured out what was wrong with it".
"Well we can work with them" Breanna said.
"Maybe we should make new design for it" ben said remembering the nanites in Rex's world "something new which have the best of both".
The two of them thought about it it was an good odes but will take too much time Melissa and Brenna looked at each other and nodded and soon the three of them went to work. Just like that they spent the next few months working on nanites, ben was no genius when it came to that stuff but thanks to Ben's memory and working with alien technology since he was an 10 year old helped also due to ben being able to transform into an living nanites was a big help (upgrade). Well formerly that is, being able to transform.
They all spent majority of there time working on the project that they lived in the lab for most of the time, sometimes even slept there, of course there parents asked what it was about but they told them that it was an personal project that they were working with an friend, Ben's parents were happy that ben was finally making friends and Melissa's dad was just curious he knew that an scientises work sometimes required late hours but he still told his daughter to not to sleep too late.
9 month's later the 3 of them were eating dinner in the lab today was not of those days which they had to stay late.
"It kind of feels like an sleepover" Melissa said.
"Really cause I think that it's more like living together" Breanna pointed to there tooth brush, extra cloths on the table and 3 beds at the back "it feels like that these days we are living in here more than in our own house".

Melissa smiled at them "guys thank you for this".
"I told you that you don't need to thank us besides you are working twice as hard as us" Brenna said to her.

"Also no eating while working" Brenna added much to Ben's annoyance "I honestly don't know how can you live while eating those filthy and unhealthy things and work at this rate you'll get fat and die".
Melissa nodded "here you should eat this, I made it myself" she said with an hint of pride as she passed him some sandwiches and took his burger.
Breanna looked at Ben's chilli fries and her sandwiches "here I'll exchange this with your chili fries" she snatched the fries fries and gave ben her food without permission "you should eat healthy food".
Melissa nodded.
"honestly sometimes I wonder weather you have smoothie and chili fries as your blood and muscles" Brenna said sarcastically.
Bel blushed a bit "oh look schematics are done" he said a bit embarrassed and tried to divert there attention.
They then looked over there work and went to sleep at 12 ben decided to recheck everything to make sure that there is no accident honestly he would really appreciate if another nanite event doesn't happed especially in this world since most of the people are obsessed with quirks that they had stopped most of the old topics and research entirely and if an nanite event occurred in this world then well by-by peace and welcome apocalypse. at 2 AM ben rubbed his eyebrows and got up.
"well i think that everything is in order" ben thought and walked to his bead after saving there work.
he looked at Melissa sleeping with an book next to her.
ben walked to it nd picked it up and saw that it was diagrams for the nanites and many complex calculations ben smiled at the blonde sleeping she she was in her casual cloths red shirt and white shorts and was laying on the bead without an blanket and pillow her arm was hanging from the bed.
ben shook his head looking at her like that. then he looked at Brenna who was wearing black T-shirt with red outlining and black shots with same red outlining she was all over the bead without an blanket and her tablet laying on the bed.
ben picked up both the tablet and Melissa's notebook and placed them on the table on the side then he came back with pillows and blankets for them and then he corrected there posture and covered them with the blankets.
"really you two work too hard" ben shook his head and walked to his own bed but then stopped 'maybe i shoulder check everything one more time' and went to check his work.
in an old abandoned factory an yellow portal opened and from it came out an blond haired man, he was wearing blue jeans and red shirt but they all were in tatters his face was beaten up it looked like he had just gotten out of fight or else he would look like an top Hollywood star.
He had an page in his hand he looked at it and smiled widely like he wasn't beaten up before.
"soon" he said "my master will be here and cure this cursed world of its diseases.
He started to laugh "Ha Ha Ha".

The next morning Brenna woke up on the bed right next to Melissa and let out an groan 'I think I sprained my neck' she thought as she sat and got down from the bed planting her feet on the cloths and food packing scattered below on the the ground.
'Dammit ben, it was your turn to clean up' she thought as she picked up the clothes and threw the trash in the trash bin.
Then she looked around to find ben but didn't saw him anywhere 'where could he be he was not sleeping when I woke up' she thought, she walked to the lab and there was ben laying down on the ground with the hologram showing schematics of the nanites which she could tell had been edited by ben she then looked at ben laying down in the floor and shook her head and walked up to ben and lightly nudged him on the face with her foot looking a bit annoyed with ben.
"Wake up you dweeb" she said to ben but he wasn't moving a bit instead it looked like that ben went to an even deeper sleep.
"Oa Oa ben wake up you dolt" she said to ben a little loudly this time she nudged his face to left and right a little hard but ben didn't wake up much to her annoyance but instead ben hugged her leg tightly with both of his hands.
"the hell are YOU DOING YOU IDIOT?" She said in disbelief looking at ben snoring away on her leg.
"Let go you idiot!" she screamed as she tried to pull away but ben tightened his hold on her forcing her to use her other leg to kick\push ben away but she fell on the floor beside ben.
Now she was trying her best to push ben away by pushing Ben's face away with her leg while trying her best to not hurt ben too much.
"What happened" Melissa ran to the room "I heard screaming" her voice died at the end of her sentence as she looked at the spectacle in front of her.
"What the? Oh Ah um I understand" she said as she turned her blushing head away trying her best to avoid eye contact " I understand that you are into that-".
"Like hell, I am!" She bellowed "this idiot is doing this on his own I ain't into this shit".
"Oh" Melissa looked relieved "that's good I was worried there for a second".
"Shut it and help me get away from this imbecile".

"How did it happened anyway, I mean how did he grabbed you like that?" Melissa asked as she tried to pull Ben's arms away from brennan's leg.
"I was waking ben up but then he suddenly hugged my leg out of nowhere" she said.
"How could he hug your leg from the-"she asked confused but Brenna cut her off.
"Look first help me then we can talk" she said.
Melissa nodded and went back to freeing her leg from ben.
"Smoothie, chilli fries, burgers" ben drooled in his sleep and then out of nowhere but Brennan's thumb out of nowhere.
"Bloody hell!" Breanna exclaimed as she felt Ben's teeth trying to bit her toe.
"Melissa a little help" she said.
melissa nodded and hurried up in helping her but a second later ben started sucking it like he was trying to drink smoothies.
"Just a second I almost got -" then it was freed from Ben's clutches. They both breathed heavily tired from there struggle.
"Thanks I owe you one, if you haven't gotten here then who knows" Berenna looked at the Drooling ben with fear " who knows I would've lost my leg".
Melissa nodded "you ok?" She asked concerned.
"I am fine" she replied then her eyes widened "look out" she tried to warn Melissa but it was too late and ben bit her hand.
She looked at her hand which she used to free Brenna and saw that ben was biting it. "Ahhhh" Melissa took a few steps back and fell on Brenna.
"Maybe we should let ben eat fast-food, at least on days we need to bunk in the lab" Melissa suggested looking at Brenna.
"I guess so" Brenna agreed with her then they looked at each other for a second then they burst out laughing out loud.
"Ahh what? Who?" There laughter woke ben up he looked at the two of them laughing "why are you laughing? And why does my mouth tastes like sweet and ... roses?" He said in confusion.
"You ate my foot!" Breanna screamed.
Ben looked at her like she grew an second head "say what?".
"and my hand" melissa said looking angry.
"You tried to eat my foot while you were sleeping!" She said through her teeth gritting.
"Ah?" Ben looked at her confused which made both of them madder and annoyed.
A while later Ben was on his knees apologizing to them both "I am really sorry" ben said while sweating under Breanna's gaze.
"You are the most lazy and annoying person I've ever met in my entire life" she said infatuated "I me-".
"Maybe you are being a little too hard in him?" Melissa cut her off but it seemed that she herself was a but hesitant.
Ben looked her touched "Mel" he said gratefully.
She looked at him which ben noticed and hurriedly said " look I really am sorry I'll make it up to you, I promise like really whatever you want" he said before she had an chance to even speak.
She opened her mouth but was cut off by ben "I'll even let you take anything I've got from my early 2000 music collection".
"Its fine I forgive you only if you do one thing we tell you to" she said.
Ben nodded hurriedly "anything you say" ben said.
"I'll hold it off for later" she said "what about you" she asked Melissa.
"I'll hold it off too" she said smiling slightly.
Ben looked at then smiling and said "you had already forgiven me and weren't mad at me were you?, this was all part of your plan" ben realised.
"Maybe maybe not" Melissa said.
"You" he pointed at her and then at Brenna "you've corrupted her" he said in disbelief.
"I didn't did nothing" she said while Melissa gave a knowing smile.
Ben's eyes twitched a bit "you both are really-".
"Once in an million year geniuses" Melissa said with an little smirk.
With that they spent the next few days working and stopped only on special occasions like holidays and a few weeks later was one such day it was Melissa's birthday.
