(Author's Notes: Hey everyone! How are you all doing? Well, I hope. We have only have four reviews, but that is okay! Numbers do not matter, as I have learned. While I would like for the story to be high in reviews, I also believe that the quality of the review matters more than quantity.
Before I say or do anything else, I want to give praise and honor to the Lord. God, thank you for helping me with my story projects. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed on how many projects I have in the works, but you give me the strength and endurance to see them all through. Also Jesus, you have helped me also outside of my stories. You have guided me away from the toxic and wrong things that sadly the world is still immersing itself into, and for that I am eternally grateful that you are helping me like so.
I ask you Jesus to continue to looking out for my family, my friends and also those out there in the world that still obey and follow you. Lord, I eagerly await the day when I become a more effective servant/soldier for you & also when the world starts to come to its senses. That the people realize what they have been doing since 2012, and start to work together to undo all of this New Normal junk that has been going on since then.
Thanks to the eager energy and impressive mindset & imagination of my partner/friend/sister Author Dreams Come True 996, this third chapter is all ready to go! Dreams is again a brilliant mind & also a very insightful Author who has helped me to spot gaps in the story development. So that it is fixed, and lets the story & characters flow more.
And I will say this proudly; God, thank you for guiding me to such a good, true and real friend like Dreams who is very close to you & also gifted with a powerful imagination that comes from you! Continue to hone her, forge her and strengthen her so that she shines brightly with your light!
In this chapter, Maria and the PPG arrive at the SWAT Kats universe devise a way to break free from their prison. And also back in the PPG world, friends are called over to deal with the current situation of the little ladies vanishing. But… in the process, the news travels to certain enemies who will try to take advantage of the situation in a negative way.
Again, me and Dreams are not pleased at all on what is being shown in today's media. We are not that impressed on what has been appearing in movies, cartoons, TV shows and the like. They seem to lack depth, character growth, plot development and more. And sad to say… many are trying to showcase something that we believe is not right or true at all, and it hurts us that many a good character now have been changed/altered in order to appease certain toxic groups and fan-bases.
We see and believe that the media that was shown in the past, like in the 1970s all the way up to the very early 2000s, have more potential, promise and truth than what is shown today. And with this story, we will try to bring back what sadly is now becoming a lost art.
And that is a good story that shows character & plot growth and development in many areas. It will take time, planning, collaboration and more. But I believe it will be worth it in the long-run.
We cannot please everyone, nor do we ever wish to do so. I believe in the words of my pastor Rick Godwin from Summit Christian Center at San Antonio and it is this: If you try to please everyone, you lose yourself entirely. So while others may not be pleased at this, it is what it is. Our aim is not to please all, but to write a worthwhile story that follows Truth. No more, no less.
There will be NO kind of characters or reference to slash or femme-slash of any kind. There will also be no trans characters or notions in this story series, nor in any of my other stories. See my Profile bio to see where I firmly stand in and at. In this I am VERY serious about!
And that is my stance on this story, and all others I have made and will make in the future. And again, this story will feature Christian elements and faith! And that I am not sorry at all for!

Powerpuff Girls is a cartoon series that was created by Craig McCracken. Directed by Craig McCracken and many others over the years. Executive producer is Craig McCracken. Production companies are Hanna-Barbera Cartoons and Cartoon Network Studios, distributor was Warner Bros. Television Distribution. Series aired on Cartoon Network on November 1998.
Swat Kats is a cartoon series that was created by Christian Tremblay & Yvon Tremblay, directed by Robert Alvarez. Executive producer was Buzz Potamkin, production company was Hanna-Barbera Productions with distributors being Turner Entertainment & Turner Program Service. The series was released and aired in September 1993 and ended on January 1995. The original network it aired on was TBS.

Somewhere Out There is a song from the 1986 animated Don Bluth film An American Tail. The song is a single, sung by duet Linda Ronstadt & James Ingram, from album An American Tail: Music From The Motion Picture Soundtrack. The album was released in November 1986, available on audio cassette, vinyl record and CD. The label were MCA Records originally, than to Geffen Records and Intrada Records in 2013 & 2019 respectively. Producer for the album was James Horner. For the single, the songwriters were James Horner, Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil. Produced by Peter Asher & Steve Tyrell. Journey is a 2001 song done by group Eiffel 65. It is an Italian music group that was formed in 1997 by the record company Bliss Corporation, the members being Jeffrey Jey, Maurizio Lobina & Gabry Ponte.

~Intro, insert Journey
The camera is entirely black for a few moments, than turns completely white. But almost immediately following it, an elongated oval shape appears. Its shape looks like an egg that has been turned on its side. After a moment, someone appears to drop down within the shape. It is a young woman, one with brown hair, fair white skin, blue eyes and red lipstick on her lips.
It turns out to be Maria Neverdomski, who is in her human form. And to her right are the words in dark-pink HANNA-BARBERA. Maria smiles, than a golden ring of energy appears on her left side and starts to go over her. The scene freezes at the moment where the golden ring is exactly at the halfway point, in the middle of Maria's face.
It shows half of her face; on the left is her halfa-form, which shows golden hair, bronze-colored skin, her eye is now green with a beauty mark near it, her lips now having blue lipstick coloring & she seems to be wearing bands in her hair & on her neck that shows the colors of blue, red and green.
The logo stays in place for a few moments, than it fades as the scenery changes to show the city of Townsville. The narrator is not speaking, as he is not part of the intro. Everything seems to be peaceful… until the silence is shattered by the sound of a police alarm! The camera zooms towards the city, many buildings passing by in a blur until it stops in front of a bank. The scene now shows the entrance to the bank, where police were coming in on the scene in their vehicles. When they arrived, they got out of their police cars and took positions behind it & drawing out their guns.
The camera shows the door to the establishment, which are soon blown open with some smoke coming out from them. And a close up is done as some red latex boots come walking out. When they stop, the camera slowly pans upward to show that the boots are thigh-high types that belong to only one villainess. The camera pans upward to show the alluring curves wrapped in red and black outfit, and soon comes to the smirking face of the one called Sedusa! The camera zooms outward to showcase the entire seductive frame of the villainess, who is holding a bag full of money in her left hand, while her right hand is covered in a black gauntlet that has a red gemstone on the back of it.
The scene shows Sedusa striking a sensual pose, which makes the male officers grin dumbly and lower their weapons. Hearts shoot out of their beings as they are entranced completely by Sedusa's form. However, the female officers are not affected and very much looked more ticked off now as they fire their guns at her! Sedusa smirk increases as she lifts the gauntlet in front of her, the camera showing the red gemstone glowing red. Rings of magnetic power appear in front of Sedusa, stopping the bullets in their tracks. The metal projectiles float in midair a few feet from her, causing the female officer to cease fire and look in shock at the action.
The villainess than cackles and sends the projectiles back at the law officers with twice the speed! The policewomen duck down behind their cars just in time, some pulling their still-stricken male partners to the ground so that they are not hit. This seems to snap them out of their lust-induced trance.
Sedusa cackles as she seems to be the one in control… but then flashes of pink, blue and green appear in front of her. She turns her head, and her smirk turns into a snarl as the camera does a round-about turn to show that floating a small distance from her were… the superheroines- the Powerpuff Girls! They are now ten years of age, showing that indeed they do & will age like normal humans. On the left is Bubbles, in the middle is Blossom and on the right is Buttercup. The trio are wearing their signature clothing that has not changed, but the wear is more suited for their pre-teen looks, as they look seriously at Sedusa.
The camera changes to show the villainess letting out a shriek and raising her gauntlet up, firing now red laser energy beams at them that erupt from the palm of the gauntlet. The girls scatter, zipping here and there as their trademark colors appear from their wake. This keeps up for a few moments, than the camera zooms out to show the whole of Townsville like before… but this time a golden comet streaks in, heading towards the city!
It soon changes back to the fight, where Sedusa is being able to hold off the PPG with her newly acquired item. However, the camera shows her facing the 4th wall and her eyes widen. The camera changes to show the golden comet that was streaking for her… and the comet shifted/changed to show that it was the halfa heroine Maria Angel, partner to hero Danny Phantom from Amity Park!
The camera shows the determined look on Maria's face as she flew in towards Sedusa, veering left and right to avoid the laser blasts until she was close to her quarry. The camera showed her connecting with a rising uppercut punch that sent the villainess reeling upwards! The camera than showed the PPG coming in from all sides; Bubbles took the bag of money and tossed it down to one of the policewomen below, who caught it. Next, it showed Blossom using her Freeze Breath on the gauntlet, which turned into ice and then shattered into pieces, revealing the now free hand of Sedusa. And finally, Buttercup came in with a punch to the villainess face that sent her crashing back down to the pavement!
The camera turned to show an aerial view of Sedusa, who was knocked down and out with a bruise on her chin and cheek.
The camera went back to ground level to see the PPG coming back to the ground, followed by Maria who congratulated the three on a job well done. Two policewomen came to the crater of Sedusa, bringing her up and cuffing her before taking her away. It seems that all is well… until a swirling white portal appears behind the superheroines!
The camera shows their faces of surprise, shock and fear. Before they could do anything, the portal sucks them in and quickly collapses on itself and closes.
The scene changes to showcase a tunnel of swirling white and blue energy, the PPG and Maria flipping through the area. They are soon enveloped in white energy until only their outlines show… and it starts to change as well!
The scene changes again, this time in front of what appears to be a large building. The portal opens up, and it seemingly spits out the four superheroines. However… they have changed! They are now anthro cats, and seeing themselves as such causes looks of panic and shock to come on their faces.
They are now in Megakat City!
The camera shows the changed superheroines looking to their right, and see the villains/villainesses of the SWAT Kats! The camera shifts to showcase the various bad guys and girls from left to right; the Metallikats- Mac and Molly Mange, Chopshop, Dr. Viper, Dark Kat with his Creepling minions, Ci-Kat-A, Turmoil, Hard Dive and Pastmaster.
The camera changes back to show the ladies very much confused and scared, then they hear something and turn around to look to their left. The camera shows many Enforcer sedans, Peace-Keeper tanks, Enforcer helicopters coming in & honing in on them! The sedan doors opened up, many male and female officers wearing Enforcer uniforms filing out with laser rifles at the ready.
After showcasing the arrival of the Enforcers, a special kind of sedan different from the rest comes forth. Getting out of the car was Commander Ulysses Feral, and by his side was his loyal officer Sgt. Talon. Coming out from the other side was Lt. Commander Steel.
The camera showed Feral with his swagger stick in hand, raising it up in the air and soon bringing it down and pointing at the PPG and Maria!
The camera changed back to show the PPG and Maria looking very much scared at this particular moment… than something happened that caused them to look up!
The camera changed to an aerial view, showing all of Megakat City… and a familiar black jet streaking in the sky! It was the TurboKat aircraft, the signature vehicle utilized by the vigilante heroes- the SWAT Kats! The camera showed the jet streaking over the city, going to where the action was down below. The canopy blasted open, and two objects ejected from it. The jet than did a U-turn, now on autopilot as it seemed to disappear over the horizon.
The two beings coming down in their specially designed ejector seats were Razor and T-Bone, the duo showing themselves to the camera as they aimed for Maria and the PPG!
When they landed, they looked at the ladies and smiled, also doing a small wave to the superheroines. The PPG look surprised, but Maria looks very much scared and it shows. The SWAT Kats faces show worry on why Maria is like that. The camera shows Buttercup, Blossom and Bubbles turning to their friend and giving her a hug. It seems that it was what was needed, as Maria seems to relax and hug them back.
The camera changes to go up in the air, giving a bird's eye view as it shows the SWAT Kats, the PPG and Maria in the middle between the Enforcers and the various bad guys and girls of the SWAT Kat world. A few moments later, a blue helicopter appears and the camera shows it as the sliding door opens to reveal three female anthro cats.
The one with the wireless microphone in hand is Ann Gora, the lovely reporter from Kat's Eye News. Above her in the middle is the beautiful blonde Deputy Mayor known as Callie Briggs, who looks curiously at the situation. And above her with laser pistol in hand was Lt. Felina Feral, niece to Commander Feral. She too has a look of curiosity, but also determined to see which side to favor before making said decision.
The camera stays on them for a while as they look down at the action, than the camera turns to show the SWAT Kats, Maria and the PPG look towards the camera in battle poses. They soon charge at the camera screen, where the action freezes to show to all their charging battle poses.
The camera zooms awhile a little, where the characters are surrounded by an entirely white backdrop. Above them appear the words in red THE POWERPUFF GIRLS, and below them were the words in black RADICAL DIMENSION.

Maria and her charges were not happy with the current situation they were in. The four were still in the Containment Room, huddled together and relying on one another for mental and emotional support. Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup held onto Miss Neverdomski, who was glaring at the glass window even though no one was there. The only ones in the place were the two guards assigned to look after the four beings from an entirely new universe, but they were out of sight unless one would get closer to the window and see their body frames on the sides.
Blossom looked to her friend/babysitter/adopted sister and stated, "Maria, this is just crazy…".
Buttercup added, "Yeah! I mean, we have been in tough and bizarre situations before! But I think this tops them all!". It was no joke there. The PPG and Maria had some interesting & way-out there adventures back in their home realm, but this was a new one for them. They were turned into anthros, and also a bit unsure if their powers would function well.
The halfa heroine had learned some time ago that powers could be affected by new areas and circumstances, such as when she discovered that her mortal form when in Purgatory (a.k.a. Ghost Zone) would gain abilities like being able to walk through ghostly walls and such. And that spirits there could not touch or possess her like they did in the mortal realm.
She and the PPG could feel their powers still intact, but now it raised the question if their abilities & techniques were altered/changed by being in a completely new realm of reality.
They heard the faint sound of doors opening, and soon appearing at the window were the scientists Obadiah and Reese. In their hands were the packs of the young women; Maria & Blossom's packs in the hands of Obadiah, Bubbles & Buttercup's packs in the hands of Reese. This caused Maria to rise up from her position on the floor, the PPG doing the same but with Bubbles hiding behind the legs of the halfa heroine.
Both male kats offered the girls an apologetic smile, but sadly it was not returned as the ladies had glares on at them. It was Obadiah that spoke through the microphone, "Here are your packs. All of their contents are back in proper order.".
Maria inquired in a tight voice, "And how are we supposed to get them?".
Reese was the one who answered, "The slot underneath the window here. We'll slide them in to you.".
The ladies looked under the window, and indeed there was a hatch that was there. It looked like the ones on mailboxes used at the Post Office. The scientists deposited the packs into the hatch, and it was Buttercup who made the first move as she went towards the hatch. She glared up at the male kats and stated roughly, "If I find any of my stuff missing, I'm going to turn your faces into my own personal scratching post!".
The adult kats faces soon sported nervous smiles, as their sixth senses told them that she was not joking. While she looked like a regular kitten, something was telling Obadiah and Reese that ticking her off was not a good idea.
Buttercup pulled open the hatch, peering inside of it to see that indeed all of their packs were there. However, she still did not trust the scientists and subtly used one of her powers which was X-Ray Vision. Her eyes took on a subtle, soft light glow as she seemingly glared at the packs. Invisible to the naked eyes, a beam of energy shot forth and Buttercup scanned the packs. The black kitten wanted to make sure that everything was in there, and also not little 'additions' that would give them problems.
Thankfully, all of hers and her sisters' and Maria's possessions were in there. And as she had hoped, the anthro felines did not see her eyes change. They were none the wiser of noticing her ability. She switched off her visual power, took the packs, gave one last glare to Obadiah and Reese before turning her back to them and going back to the others.
Each of the young ladies from another universe took the packs and opened them up, peering inside and finding that all of what they had brought along were still there.
Maria looked up and to the two scientists and asked them in a neutral tone, "How long have we been here?".
It was Obadiah that answered, "It's been a little over an hour since you came here. It's now 12:45 p.m.".
It was Blossom that remembered the time in her head, and realized something. She thought to herself, 'It was at that 11:30 a.m. that we got sucked into the portal. I believe that time flow the same here as in our world. And yet… I feel that while time is flowing normal here, there is something different. I can't quite put my finger on it…'.
While this was going on, Keisha was outside the facility building and waiting near the entrance. Other employees passed her, some leaving for the day while others were either returning from lunch, or going to lunch now. The female scientist scanned the area, hoping to find what she was looking for. And indeed she did, when arriving to the parking lot was a dark green car. If one from Maria's world had a good look at it, they would say it looked like a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray model. However, it had gullwing doors that looked to have come from a Mercedes-Benz 300SL. And to top it off, the headlights looked to be similar to a TVR S series vehicle, a type of sports car that was introduced in 1986 at the British International Motor Show.
The unique car parked in one of the parking slots that was usually reserved for high-level employees… but this one ranked above them all even though the person was not part of the facility. The vehicle also belonged exclusively to one person, and when the door opened up, said being emerged from the car to reveal… Deputy Mayor- Callie Briggs!
The lovely blonde she-kat looked quite professional in her attire, and it seemed to only enhance her beauty as she walked towards Keisha. Miss Briggs had a certain quality/character/allure/spirit that made both very attractive on the eyes, but also to be taken seriously when need be. She had a light side to be sure, knowing when to take it easy and to make the people around her comfortable to be in her presence. But when push came to shove, she could be serious and quite a force to not be taken lightly.
The scientist greeted her with a warm smile and handshake, in which Callie warmly returned the gesture. Keisha spoke up, "Good afternoon, Deputy Mayor. My name is Keisha Wizmur, and it's good to see that you came here, and quite quickly I might add.". The duo then turned and walked inside the building, continuing their talk as they walked.
Callie replied back in a light, easy tone, "Well, you can thank traffic for that. It's actually light, considering that today is a Saturday and also the start of Spring Break.". Keisha nodded her head, knowing full well that many kats had left the city in order to go on vacation.
When they got to a certain door, Keisha used her card to open the door via electronic card lock. Once it slid through, the red light on the slot panel turned green & the doors parted open. Once they went inside and continued onward, Callie looked to the scientist and inquired in a curious tone, "So, what is it that wanted to tell me? It sounded quite urgent over the phone.".
The dark-brown haired scientist looked to the Deputy Mayor and answered in a tone that showed a hint of nervousness, "It is. Deputy Mayor… are you familiar with other worlds? Other universes and dimensions?".
That kind of answer perplexed the blonde beauty, who responded in a tone that conveyed the emotion she was feeling, "Ummm… not really. I have seen many crazy things happen in this city, but I don't think I have encountered anything like what you just said. Why do you ask?". It would appear that Miss Briggs was not told by the SWAT Kats concerning their adventure in an alternate world; one that where she was a villainess & that she was in league with the evil versions that was dubbed the Nega-SWAT Kats.
Keisha looked to her with worried look on her face and answered her, "I believe that me and my colleague Obadiah may have just done something that could either prove beneficial… or disastrous for all of kat-kind.".
Now this now intrigued, but also worried the public servant. Over the span of her career as Deputy Mayor, she had been on the end of many fantastic and radical events. She had endured mutations, megalomaniacs, homicidal metallic robots, delusional zombies with the power of time travel, vengeful supernatural ghosts from the past, and much more!
And it was that she was eternally grateful to the One Above that she had the opportunity to meet with the ones that had saved her and the city many times, which was the SWAT Kats! While their first meeting was somewhat unconventional & unusual, she saw & felt that they were heroes. Two men on a mission to truly help others, and were not letting any kind of red tape and other political nonsense get in their way when it came to kicking some serious bad guy or girl tail!
The female scientist led her to their destination, Keisha opening the door to the room and was mildly surprised to see Obadiah and Reese already there. And it looked like they were huddled over something. The two male kats turned around, straightening up from their hunched positions, and it was Reese that spoke up, "Oh! Miss Briggs! It's nice to have some fine beauty in this dismal establishment.".
He did a theatrical bow, which had Obadiah sigh in resignation as he was used to the antics of the young lad. Keisha just rolled her eyes, but a small smile was on her face as she found Reese's antics and mannerisms quite amusing in a comical way. Callie just smiled and answered back, "I see that you're quite the smooth talker.".
Reese brought himself back from his bent position, smiling and replying in a carefree tone, "I try to be, thank you very much!".
Keisha just chuckled softly and stated, "Miss Briggs, meet Reese Feliks. He is the resident flirt of this facility. While he considers himself a Casanova, he has some honor to him. And personally, more of a goofball.". This made the male kat go red in the face and turn to his colleague with a look of betrayal on his face, which made Miss. Aniela just smirk at him. This in turn made Callie giggle, which was quite melodious to hear.
Obadiah spoke up, "And I am Obadiah Kotecki, a senior staff member of the facility. And while young Reese here is quite light-hearted in many things, he is quite brilliant when it comes to his work in engineering.".
Callie looked to the middle-aged male kat and stated in a civil but warm tone, "Good to meet the both of you. So, what is it that you were hunched over? Does it have something to do with what Keisha here told me earlier over the phone? And also something concerning other universes and worlds?".
This had the men, and other woman in the room, to take on looks that were a mixture of worry and seriousness. Obadiah and Reese parted from the table they were at… revealing to Callie Briggs the Dimensionator! Callie was mildly surprised to see such the unusual object, going closer to get a better look. Keisha spoke up once more in a tone that showed her nervousness, "Miss Briggs, I think we better tell you what we have been working on. And also what has happened…".
So Callie was soon told on what had happened an hour ago, as well as how the project came to be. Needless to say, she was stunned to hear about it all.
~In the human universe~
While all of this was occurring in the other dimension, a battle was being raged on at the town known as Amity Park in South Dakota. The city was besieged by many various ghost animals, spirits of animals that had died but they were not ready to depart to Heaven to receive judgement. They had stayed behind, settling in either the place known as the Ghost Zone or finding a spot on Earth to haunt.
But right now, those spirits had gone into a frenzy and were apparently summoned to the town. It would appear that Amity Park was located on a supernatural nexus of sort, causing many supernatural forces to gravitate towards it. However, it seemed to mostly cater to spirits instead of other supernatural entities such as vampires, werebeasts, etc. Some say that the REALLY weird stuff to see would be at a place in Oregon called Gravity Falls.
In any case, the various animal spirits had been causing some mayhem as they had come in swarms like a plague of locusts!
But fortunately, the town had some protectors who were quite versed in the art of subduing spirits… and that was the Fenton family!
Emerging onto the scene was the Fenton Family Ghost Assault Vehicle, a chrome-looking RV that had been heavily modified by Jack & Maddie Fenton. It was loaded with all sorts of technological equipment over the years, from detecting any kind of specter energy to being able to battle against the spirits. It also had been modified to traverse through the place where the spirits inhabited instead of going to Judgement, similar in aspect to their floating vehicle called the Specter Speeder.
The speeding vehicle crashed through some of the spirits, the paint job on the RV having a coat of a special bonded shell that made it capable of delivering damage to spirits. Once the specially-designed car had come to a stop, the doors to them opened and emerging from it was the Fenton family! First up was Jack, followed closely by his lovely wife Madeline a.k.a. Maddie.
Jack had changed over the years; no longer was he large in fat, but had slimmed down. Not by much, but the fat that he once possessed had changed into solid muscle. You see, last year he had suffered a heart attack due to his unhealthy lifestyle of eating too much sweet foods. He had managed to survive it… but the scare had left a deep impact & impression. Both on himself and his family.
It was then that Maria had suggested going on a diet, but this time one that Jack would keep to his word. Thanks to the nutritional food and drinks highly recommended by Maria, ones that she made herself due to the many Polish cuisine that she learned from her mother, plus with Jack practicing and increasing the level of self-control/self-disciple/self-restraint along with help from his family, he was able to get into healthy shape.
All had been impressed on many levels towards Jack, as he had changed physically and mentally. He still enjoyed sweets, but this time he had firm discipline to not over-indulge like before. And also that he intended to still stick to his new diet, as he wanted to be around more for his kids… and hopefully grandkids in the future. And also, Maddie was not complaining at all at his new physique. She loved his new look; firm and muscular in many places, yet still loveable as a teddy bear much to her delight. And his new look did not go to his head at all.
The duo were still wearing their latex hazmat suits, but there was a difference. They were now donning black and white suits, in honor of their son Danny.
Jack was wielding the Fenton Bazooka, a modified high-powered weapon whose ammunition was energy blasts that was capable of severely damaging spirits. Maddie had the Fenton Ghost Gloves on, but they were modified to no longer be bulky & large. These particular ones were crafted for her hands; fitting like a second skin and increasing her striking power times ten!
But the duo had learned some time ago this; the gloves may have been powerful against ghosts, but not so against mortals who had natural strength. Buttercup and Blossom had played with a set during a visit, and the green-garbed heroine easily broke the gloves after using a weak punch.
So they had to change the gloves so that it could handle both mortal and supernatural strength. While not completely indestructible, the gloves could now handle the strength of those like the PPG.
Maddie had also invented the Fenton Footwear, which now adorned her feet. She was wearing knee-high boots that were metallic-silver with the Fenton logo on it. These were inventions she actually created a couple of weeks ago, utilizing the same technology and aspects that made the gloves she was wearing now. The boots were now going to be tested in the field under real, actual combat conditions.
This was the classic set-up for the couple; Jack utilized mid to long-range weapon fighting, while Maddie was the expert when it came to close-quarters combat.
Jazz emerged from the vehicle, also garbed in a black & white outfit but it was more in her own style instead of a bodysuit like her parents. But one thing was for sure; she was quite alluring in her fighting uniform. She was wielding footwear like her mother, and also having two Fenton Booo-merangs in her hands. The metallic weapons had been modified, their edges being coated in a special substance that would be able to cut and deliver moderate damage to spirits.
The young redhead called out, "Mom, we have been fighting these animal spirits almost all day! And we still don't know where they are coming from!".
Maddie got herself in a stance as the trio was being circled by a gaggle of animal spirits. She replied in a firm tone, "I know honey! There seems to be no end to them, and they don't seem to be in the mood to talk about it!".
That was another thing that had changed. Thanks to Maria and willingly converting to Christianity, the Fentons saw things more clearly. The science-tinted lenses that they had been wearing were removed, and they saw that ghosts were spirits that had been removed from the mortal coil… some in natural ways, some not so much.
Jazz had become a rising star psychologist, both for the living and the deceased. She had actually been taking lessons from a world-renowned psychologist known as Dr. James Harvey, one of few legit professors in the area of applying psychological help to spirits. He had come over from his manor home, one called Whippstaff Manor which was legally his now due to some… ahem, unfortunate circumstances involving a former employer by the name of Carrigan Crittenden. He had been living in a town called Friendship in Maine with his only daughter Kathleen a.k.a. Kat… and also the residents of the manor who were ghosts that went by the names of Casper, Stinky, Stretch and Fatso!
Said daughter was now all grown up, living in the manor with him along with the ghosts. Casper was a friendly ghost who only scared people unintentionally, and only on purpose if it truly called for it. Stretch, Fatso and Stinky were his uncles who were known infamously as the Ghostly Trio who loved to go out into the mortal world to scare the daylights out of living beings in a unique way that was all their own!
In fact, it was due to them that Dr. Harvey had been making incredible headway in the realm of psychology concerning spirits. They drove him nuts yes, but also helped him to acquire much patience, perseverance and endurance to tolerate the trio.
In any case, Dr. Harvey had come all the way to Amity Park to see the place for himself. It was there that he met Jasmine, who had recognized him instantly due to being a fan of his work. The duo had hit it off, and the professor actually started to tutor the young woman with the knowledge that he possessed. After six months, Jasmine's tutoring was complete as she absorbed everything that she could learn from him.
And in exchange, Dr. Harvey had come to know the residence of the town, both mortal and spirit alike. In fact, he actually made headway with some of the ghosts who were actually friends of the Fenton family thanks to Maria & Danny! He had met & actually had some sessions with Desiree Amani, Princess Dorathea Deira, Ember McLain, Kitty Florinda and also Frostbite! The five spirits actually provided suitable lessons for Jazz as the doctor from Maine did small sessions from them, the young Fenton lass just absorbing every word, action, detail… everything!
And when it was time for him to return back home, James Harvey had given his letter of recommendation to Jazz, which had aided her in attending the college of her choice.
It was also that Jazz managed to help turn her parents from being obsessive Ghost Hunters to Spirit Reformers. With some aided help from Maria, the Fentons had decided to switch from actively hunting and hurting spirits to helping them, especially to move on to the next level which was to make the choice to ascend to Judgement. They had modified their weapons to restrain a spirit, but to never do any kind of permanent harm. And would only break out the more hardcore weapons when it was ABSOLUTELY necessary!
Now Jazz was on vacation from her college, the school having closed down last week due to a campus-level prank. The school had been bombarded with stink bombs by some fun-loving fools who seemed to not have any kind of limits for the levels of pranks they pulled off. The whole campus had stunk up, and so thus classes were cancelled until the smell and chemical make-up of the stink bombs were examined and neutralized. And it could mean Jazz missing out on her Finals, which really ticked her off as she was hoping to complete her studies with excellent marks like before.
A young man soon came to Jazz's side, garbed in outfits similar to Jack's. He looked to be around twenty-nine years of age, a year older than Jazz. He had brown hair that seemed to be styled so that it formed a point in the front, brown eyes, light tan skin and was a head taller than her. Her had a wiry frame, but there was some serious muscle power if one were to see closer.
He looked to the young woman, wielding the Fenton Rod expertly in his hands and spoke in an annoyed tone, "Uhh, sweetheart… I knew that you wanted me to both meet your parents and see your hometown… but I didn't think it would get this crazy!".
The young man that was speaking to her was Tristen Taylor, who was native to Domino City, Japan but had moved to the United States some years ago. And apparently, he was also Jazz's fiancé!
Tristen had lived in Domino City all of his life, and seemingly not much out of the ordinary happened. However… that all changed when he and his other friend that went by the name of Joey Wheeler met a young lad that went by the name of Yugi Motou! The duo had been bullies in the past, even going to bullying Yugi. However, they were beset by another bigger bully that went by the name of Ushio. Amazingly, Yugi had come to their aid despite all the mean things they had did to him.
After the bully was taken care of, Tristen and Joey became dependent and loyal friends to Yugi… but it was then they soon got themselves on a roller coaster adventure they would not soon forget!
And it started with Yugi winning a duel against billionaire Seto Kaiba, a teenager with a huge ego but also an IQ that went with it. The young man was brilliant when it came to technology, soon running his own company called Kaiba Corp. and was featured exclusively to promote a popular card game known as Duel Monsters. He was also obsessive on three things; safeguarding his little brother Mokuba, finding rare Duel Monster cards & being the best at said game. He already was, considering he had powerful monsters at his command along with some potent Trap and Spell cards.
But when Yugi managed to defeat the egotistical young man, it started a ripple effect that would have Tristen be involved in a mystical war that had started 3,000 years ago in the days of Ancient Egypt!
Shortly after the duel that was televised for the entire world to see, Tristen had gone with Yugi, Joey & beautiful aspiring dancer Téa Gardner to an island called Duelist Kingdom that was owned by billionaire Maximillion J. Pegasus. The white-haired man had created Duel Monsters, and also was an eccentric adventurer of sorts as well. Apparently, Pegasus had done something to Yugi's grandfather Solomon Motou… which was stealing his very soul!
Mr. Taylor had soon discovered quickly that magic was apparently real, and there was a race by some to find the most powerful magical artifacts that could channel this Shadow magic as it was called. They were golden objects called Millennium Items, and Yugi was in possession of one called the Millennium Puzzle… which could change him in both the physical and mental way! The puzzle had the ability to transform him into a completely different being called Yami Yugi, who was like the opposite of Yugi in many ways!
The Items granted extraordinary power to its wielder, but said power was often specifically specialized in one area… and also the power came at a cost. And those who sought the items had plans to use them for nefarious purposes… but Yami Yugi had wanted to find them so he could find out about his past, which was terribly fragmented in his head.
Tristen had seen many things in his short time being buddied with Yugi; from going on a dangerous island that was filled with all sorts of unique characters, being part of another tournament that was created by Seto Kaiba, being in a virtual world that was run by a lost sibling of the Kaiba family and so much more! And in the end… he had seen Yugi dueling Yami, who found out that he was a powerful pharaoh named Atemu that has sacrificed his life, soul and even name to seal up a powerful demon named Zorc Necrophades.
The little guy managed to win against the Pharaoh, showing that he had truly grown into his own during all that times. And when he won… the Pharaoh was allowed to go into the afterlife, and the magic that had brought Duel Monsters to life was sealed away with him.
When it was all said and done, it was back to the real mainstream world for them. Tristen had managed to graduate from Domino High School, only after taking up summer classes to make up for all the days he missed due to following Yugi and company on his quest. Once he managed to pass, he managed to acquire a scholarship… but it was to an American college overseas!
That meant he would have to move, saying goodbye to his friends one last time as he packed up and moved to the United States of America.
It was there that he attended a college that was actually a rival one to Jazz, and they met at a café that was situated between the two campuses. Tristen had gone to protect a freshman from some burly senior upperclassman, but he wound up being beat up badly. But it did accomplish two things; he did manage to protect the young freshman, and also met Jazz who witnessed the whole thing.
The two introduced one another, and that is where the romance started to blossom. It was slow to be sure, but it started to grow and gain strength as the days passed on. Days turned into weeks, than months, then about two years. They talked to one another, went out on dates, helped one another in their studies and with other things that cropped up in life.
Jazz had introduced him to her parents via webcam last month, the Fentons saying that it was a pleasure to meet him though they would like to meet him in the flesh and blood. And it was made more apparent when young Jasmine showed them a tasteful silver ring, which was an engagement ring! Tristen had proposed to her a week before the webcam meeting, and she had said yes!
Tristen's opportunity to see his fiancée's family and hometown came when the large-level prank occurred, and so far he had been welcomed by the family… although he was surprised by the spirits that did roam the place, and also grilled a bit by both Maddie and Jack as per the usual parent custom. But it was a good time all-around for the young man.
He had been put into the Guest Room of the Fenton household, and so far he had a good few days with the Fenton family… until the day of the massive influx of ghostly animals, and it was then the Fentons were called into action! And seeing that his lady love was going into action, he insisted on being part of it.
And now here he was; Tristen Taylor in a new fighting outfit aiding his soon-to-be wife in fighting unusual spirit animals that seemed to be in a frenzy of sort.
Jazz looked to her soon-to-be husband and replied in an apologetic tone, "Sorry honey! I'll make it up to you as soon as this is over! I promise!". She was at the ready when a fusion of a bear & raccoon rushed towards her wildly, but Tristen rushed to it! He extended the rod out, then using some impressive strength actually catapulted the spirit upward into the air!
The fused beast had a look of utter confusion and disbelief as it was sailing in the air, but the look changed to that of pain when two metallic boomerangs managed to actually cut through its spirit form! When it landed on the ground, it looked up to see the couple together as Jazz expertly caught her weapons without even looking for them. She was that good!
The bear/raccoon fusion roared at them… but smartly retreated from the fight.
Tristen looked to Jazz, a small smirk on his face and stated, "I think this is good. I get to see you in action, and also that we're teaming up together like this. So no worries about making it up to me.".
This caused the Fenton lass to blush lightly and smile at her intended. Tristen was actually good when it came to combat, having learning some of the basics of karate back when he lived in Japan. And after his adventures with Yugi and company, he started to work out and get back in shape. He learned more of the martial art when he got to the United States, and also learned some moves from Jazz!
The young woman showed that she was quite proficient in the fighting arts due to receiving some self-defense training from her mother. The two had actually started to take up martial arts while dating, and while not as potent as Maddie, they were quite formidable on their own & when they did team up when some of the more Neanderthal-like bullies had tried to gang up on them due to wanting revenge against them for spoiling their fun, which consisted of picking on the weak.
The couple soon went back into the fray, and that is when they received some help from above! Coming in from the air were three beings; two certain halfas while one looked to be a woman dressed in a red battlesuit riding on a red hoverboard with a cute little green puppy on front of her board
The one in red was Valerie Gray, but she was sporting a new superheroine name instead of the old one. Now instead of being called Red Huntress, she was now known as Crimson Angel! And the green pup was Cujo! Her physical form was as fine as ever, and she had opted to keep her long hair instead of getting it into the cut that her alternate future self had.
Valerie had undergone some changes in her life just like the Fenton's did, all thanks to Maria. She had seen the error of her ways concerning her hatred for ghosts, especially for Cujo when she finally got it through her head on how the pup died. The Polish-American managed get through the thick shell of Miss Gray, and in turn this changed her to a certain degree.
She managed to reconcile with Cujo, who took an instant liking to the African-American beauty and was now always by her side. Also, she decided to change her name as the old one she had connected her with her past self & she wished to show to all that she had changed.
With the help of the Fenton's & also her father Damon Gray, she also changed the design of her hoverboard that had been changed due to Technus some time ago. It actually looked like the one that her alternate future self rode on, the design provided by Danny when he told them on what he saw in the alternate reality future some years ago.
And while she did sport weapons on her flying craft and in her battlesuit, they were non-lethal to spirits. While they did pack a punch to be sure, Valerie made it so that it would stun or disable spirits. And also Cujo would help, as his huge dog form was a truly helping hand (or paw in this case) in subduing ghosts that were unruly.
The two halfas beside her was of course Danny Phantom, who had seriously matured in body/mind/soul/spirit to have an air of confidence and strength that increased his capabilities many fold!
The other halfa was Danielle 'Dani' Phantom, who was a clone of Danny thanks to a now-banished Vlad Masters a.k.a. Vlad Plasmius. Now, she was the adopted daughter of Jack and Maddie Fenton!
Some years ago, Dani had decided to end her trips around the globe. While it was fun for her to see the many sights and cultures… she felt it was time for her to settle down. She missed her friends back at Amity Park, and also yearned very much to be part of a family after seeing so many of them during her travels.
So taking that big leap of faith, she went back to the town and called in Danny, Maria and Valerie to meet with her at a secluded location. The young halfa heroine had managed to keep in contact with the trio during her travels. Dani saw Danny as a big brother figure instead of a cousin, Maria and Valerie as sisters/best friends. When they arrived, Danielle told them on her plan which was to be truly introduced to the entire Fenton family.
Of course, Danny and Valerie were hesitant on the idea of Dani revealing themselves to Jack and Maddie. But Maria had smiled, saying that it was a good idea and that she supported her. It took some coaxing, but Danny and Valerie were also on board with the idea.
And after some thought to the presentation, Danielle was introduced to the rest of the Fenton family.
Needless to say, all of the members were stunned to see Danielle and learn of her origins. Dani's fear that she would be rejected evaporated like water on a sidewalk in summertime when Jack scooped her up and swung her around playfully! He declared proudly that it was great to have another addition to the family, Maddie coming in to start a group hug with the duo. She stated with joy in her tone that it was wonderful to have a new addition to the family, and that they would make sure to make some papers later on so that she would be legally part of the family.
Danielle was on the verge of crying tears of happiness… but the dam broke when Jazz came in, hugging her tight and declaring with family pride in her tone that she it was awesome to have a little sister around the house. When she started crying, they were worried… but their concerns were settled when Maria explained to them that she was crying tears of joy, not of sorrow.
And when Danny joined in, the whole picture was complete and Dani felt like she had a real home… a real family. And later on, the papers were completed and turned into the legal system where now the Fenton's had an adopted daughter that would forever be part of the family.
She had grown up into a real beauty inside and out… but of course, she was embarrassed when Danny had played the part of an overprotective big brother & Jack the father who took her daughter's well-being seriously.
And as she grew up, her powers developed and were different than Danny's. For instance, she discovered that she had an Elemental core like he did… but instead of ice, her powers were of the element lighting! And also that she could apparently utilize a bit of actual magic, which she acquired during her travels around the world & also taught by Desiree herself! The magic was strictly limited, as it allowed her to change clothes that she wore into anything else. But once taken off or torn, the clothes would change back into what she originally wore. This also included wigs & various other accessories she wore on her being
And she had developed her own ultimate attack- the Vibration Sensation! While her big brother had his Phantom Wail which utilized soundwaves that were augmented by his ecto-energy, hers was different. She used her lighting element to charge up the air with much static electricity, and she could either focus it into a beam or a cloud area effect. Anything that was hit by her attack, they would be charged up with electrical energy and start to vibrate.
That is where Danielle would control the intensity of the vibrations, and also judge to either have the vibrations be external… or internal. Or even both, it was all up to her! And she could control the intensity from one feeling like they were in a vibrating chair… to something that was like a mini-earthquake inside of them! The longest she could hold such an attack varied; if it was in a cloud effect, she could hold it for about an hour until she got too exhausted enough to maintain it. If it was due to a beam effect, the effects would last about thirty minutes due to how Dani had to focus & concentrate said beam.
The trio started to blast the frenzied low-level spirits with their ecto-rays, Crimson Angel using her metallic-silver energy blasts to stun the animal spirits. She called out to the Phantoms, "Man, these spirits are persistent! Why are there so many here?!".
Danielle called out as she blasted a vulture ghost on her right, "I don't know! But something has them stirred up badly! They look like they are going crazy!".
Danny also shouted to them, "I know! Maybe it has to do with this strange ringing that's going on!".
Crimson Angel looked to them, and she saw that the halfas had grimacing expressions on their faces, one that spoke of pain. She soon heard whimpers and whines coming from Cujo, turning to her trusty animal partner who was bending his head & pawing at his ears in an effort to stop what was bothering him.
The alluring mortal woman dodged some of the attacks of the spirits and called out, "Ringing? What do you mean by that Danny?".
The halfa hero answered while blasting some of the frenzied ghosts back, "Ugh! It's… this annoying ringing… like constant fire alarm… it started early this morning! I thought it was… just a little bit of an annoyance… now… it feels like its getting stronger!".
Danielle called in a strained tone, "Same here… feels like… my head… is about to… explode!". Soon, both halfas clutched their heads with their hands, grunting and gritting their teeth as they were in some major pain.
Valerie knew that this was serious if it was affecting Danny and Danielle like so, and also Cujo who soon floated on his own and was starting to change into his large-form! She knew that if he went crazy in his immense form, he could do some serious unneeded damage!
She looked to her right wrist, which had a mini-computer inside of it that could perform some amazing technological feats as a small video screen made itself known by sliding out of a secret compartment. It was all due to Tucker's ingenuity that it was all possible. She spoke to herself, "It sounds to me like it's a signal of some kind, one that is attuned so that it only affects spirits! If I can find that frequency…". She started to push some buttons on her wrist, looking at the screen as a wavelength image came up.
For some time, she had her mini-computer have a dedicated channel to the frequency that ghosts were attuned by. She than saw something that seemed to be interfering with the spectral wavelength, a purple wave band that seemed to corrupt the usual wavelength that was attached to the spirits. She thought to herself, 'It seems that the signal is actually weak, which had only affected the lower level ghosts here. Cujo is more or less above their rank, but he is slowly succumbing to it! And Danny and Danielle are halfas, so it's more like a migraine that is gaining strength! But now that I've isolated the signal, I should find a counter-signal for it easily since it looks to be weak!'.
She typed in fast and furiously, trying to ignore the chaos that was swirling under her & around her. Danny and Dani were clutching their heads, the ringing in their heads slowly becoming unbearable! Cujo had finally morphed into his full beast form… and was now growling, green drool coming down his jaw as he turned to see his victim that would be a chew toy in an effort to relieve himself of the pain that was in his head!
The Crimson Angel worked furiously, and then found it! She declared in victory, "Yes! There!". She found a baby blue-colored wavelength that clashed with the purple wavelength, and it seemed to do the trick! An invisible ring pulse escaped from her being, showing that the signal was being broadcasted!
The effects were almost immediate; the lower-level animal spirits suddenly ceased their actions, stopping in mid-attack instantly. They looked confused, wondering on what was going on. This caused the Fenton family and Tristen to also cease their actions, looking on in puzzlement as the spirits they were fighting now looked to be docile.
Danny and Danielle slowly unclutched their heads, feeling relief seeping in quickly as the pain & pressure subsided swiftly as well. And Cujo… well, he was stopped in mid-bite, his fangs open wide and over Valerie's head. Once the pain was gone, his eyes became wide as he was now wondering what was going on. He quickly changed back to his pup form, hovering at his owner's head-level.
Valerie looked to see Cujo back to normal, smiling and taking the pup in her arms. She cooed to him, "Oh Cujo! Oh, it's good to see you okay, boy!". The pup looked to his owner, a smile replacing his confused looks as he licked the visor.
The halfa hero and heroine floated to the Crimson Angel, their faces showing naked confusion. Danny looked to her and inquired in a confused tone, "Okay… what just happened?".
The African-American beauty looked to the duo and spoke, "Come on, I'll explain it to everyone!". She headed downwards, holding Cujo who enjoyed the ride down. While he could have flown down under his own power, he enjoyed it more when his mistress was holding him like so. Felt so much better to the pup. Dani and Danielle looked at each other for a brief moment, than followed their friend downward.
When they landed, they saw the spirits looking about for a moment before calmly flying back towards the Fenton household where the portal was situated at. The trio and pup were soon met by Jack and the others, the patriarch of the family speaking in a confused tone, "Hey, what they heck is going on?".
Valerie pressed the button on the right side of her neck, deactivating the visor and showing her face to the others. She explained, "I found that a frequency of some kind that was making the ghosts go crazy. Cujo was affected, but it took him awhile to let it get to him. Danny and Danielle were affected by it too, but in the form of some terrible migraines since I think it's due to them being half-mortal. I managed to find the counter-frequency and used it now, which seemed to snap the ghosts out of their rage.".
This caught the group by surprise as Maddie spoke in wonder, "A frequency? You mean that some sort of radio wavelength was set to get them all in a tizzy?".
The Crimson Angel answered back, "I think so. I don't know if it was exactly like a radio frequency, but it sure had the ghosts get mad. But it was weak, and thus easy to overpower once I found the counter-frequency to it.".
Tristen opted to say, "Maybe that's why it only affected the animal spirits? I mean, you all did show me other ghosts besides these ones & they weren't here causing trouble like these were.".
Jazz lit up to see that her beau had made a good deduction like so. While Tristen was not a genius per say, he did have his moments when his brain formulated a good question or insight. The redheaded beauty added in a slightly upbeat tone, "I think Tristen is right. I mean, think about it. It took Cujo awhile to get affected like the other ghosts, and I did not see Kitty or the others around. So it must have affected only lower-ranking ghosts.".
Jack than asked the million-dollar question, "So… does this mean? Did someone do this by accident, or was it intentional?". Now this had the minds of the group working, as that was a good question. Was the frequency sent out on accident by someone… or was it intentional, to truly rile up the ghosts in the town? And if intentional, then for what purpose?
Danielle spoke up, "Well, we all do know one thing. And that is it can't be Vlad, since that jerk is no longer here on Earth.". This had the others nod their heads at this. Tristen was aware of who Vlad was, both his mortal and halfa form, and the events that occurred that most will know for all time as the Disasteroid Event.
Danny put in, "Yeah, you're right. And also, even if he was back on Earth, it's not his style.". He would have said more, but his cell phone rang off. One would be amazed that a regular cellular device would be functioning after a battle, but this particular cell phone was hand-crafted by serious professionals who made sure this particular device could handle any form of punishment. It would take an extremely powerful force to even make a small crack in the screen and casing!
He pulled out his cell phone, looking at the screen to see that the ID was from the Utonium family. He said to himself in confusion, "The Utoniums? I wonder why they are calling me?".
The halfa hero accepted the call and spoke, "Hello? Mr. Utonium? What is the…? What…? WHAT?! Are you serious?! Okay, okay! I'm coming over right away! I'll be right there soon!". He immediately hung up and looked ready to fly away, when Maddie went to him and touched his arm.
The mother had a worried look on her face as she asked in a worried tone, "Danny, what's going on? What did David say to you?".
Danny looked to his mother and answered, "It seems that Maria is in some kind of trouble, her and the Powerpuff Girls! I'm going to Townsville right away, and I'll let you know what I find out once I get there!". He then quickly zoomed into the Fenton household, phasing through it & soon phasing back out before hitting the spectral after-burners! He shot out from the town like the Toho monster Rodan, going at supersonic speed westward towards California!
The Fenton family and friends saw the young man vanish quickly over the horizon, worried looks on their faces. Tristen had been told about Maria as well, and also their relationship with the Utonium family. The young man stood by Jazz's side and asked, "What do you think could have happened to powerful women like Maria and the girls?".
Jazz answered back in a worried tone, "I don't know. But one thing is for sure… Danny's going to do what he can to help out. Anything for Maria.". When they could no longer see Danny, Jack announced to all that it was now time to see what could be cleaned up around the area. The animal spirits may have in peace now that the problem seemed to be resolved… but there was some property damage, and also a lot of ecto-essence around.
Maddie and Jack discovered that while a small amount of the spirit essence was harmless… enough concentration of it could be problematic, as it could bond with living beings & more or less mutate them from the inside out over time if not spotted in time.
While the group left to clean up what the spirits had wreaked havoc on… they did not see someone in a nearby building that was close to their location. This being was peering through the window blinds, showing that this being had light purple eyes with black irises. The eyes narrowed slightly before disappearing behind the blinds…
As Danny flew fast towards his destination, he felt the object in his right pocket. It was something that he got for Maria that he was hoping to present her with soon. And that… was an engagement ring! It was silver ring with a golden heart on it, with the initial etched within the heart. He had worked at his job with NASA, which was engineering & training to become a genuine astronaut one day, for many months in order to pay for the ring which included the customization of it.
He was hoping to ask Maria's hand in marriage one day, and now he was taking it with him… as he just had a feeling that it might be useful somehow.
But for the time being, his focus was getting to the Utonium residence to see exactly on what the problem was.
~At the SWAT Kats universe~
While this was all happening, several things were happening at the Puma-Dyne Advanced Technology Research Facility. Callie was pinching the bridge of her nose in annoyance and mild aggravation, Keisha and Obadiah having finished explaining on how the Dimensionator worked & what they used as a blueprint for said weapon. They even showed her the watch of the Pastmaster, which made her annoyance rise up even more.
She spoke out in a tone that conveyed her emotions, "So, let me get this straight and clear. You three here… you all tampered with a magical watch that was used by a megalomaniac multiple times. And in studying it… you made a device that can actually break through time and space… into other worlds and dimensions. Into other universes. And now there are four female beings from a completely different universe in this building, being held in a containment room against their will. Am I hitting the bullseye on this so far?".
The scientists nodded their heads, Reese amazed still that their project had been a success… though it had its drawbacks, as he was seeing now. Which was the unintended kidnapping of others from their own universe, and now having an irate Deputy Mayor facing them.
Callie shook her head and spoke, "This is just great… not only did you do something this dangerous without informing me, Mayor Manx or even Commander Feral, but now we may have just caused an incident which I think goes WAY beyond even our judicial system!".
The kats saw that she had a point; they did not really have any laws or such that covered anything that was not of their planet, let alone from a completely different universe. Heck, the citizens were still amazed to learn that alien life existed after the arrival of the space pirate known as Mutilor!
Keisha and Obadiah believed that now would NOT be a good idea to tell Callie that they actually had alien parts in the facility. Some of Puma-Dyne's own salvage teams managed to get parts of the wreckage of some of the Alien Marauder Fighters, space crafts that were built for combat that were led by Lord Mutilor. The aliens that had piloted the crafts were taken into custody by the Enforcers, and soon returned back to the peaceful aliens known as the Aqueons who would contain them & hand them over to the proper space authorities.
The salvage teams came back with a treasure trove of space wreckage that contained alloys that were ten to twenty times stronger than any substance found on Earth, technology that was many light-years ahead of what they could conceive… and also some weapons that could do some SERIOUS damage if it fell into the wrong hands. The higher ups in the Puma-Dyne company decided to keep this kind of information from the law enforcements and bureaucrats until they could examine every scrap of what they collected.
Reese lifted up his hands in a gesture for the Deputy Mayor to calm down. He stated in a positive tone, "Hold on there, Miss Briggs. I know you're upset at this whole thing, but there is not much that we can do right now. All we can do is to just give them a few tests, and then we can send them back home. Simple as that.".
Callie gives him a look the young scientist, one that showed very clear skepticism and replied in a tone that conveyed said emotion, "A few tests, you say? Simple as that, you say?".
Reese nodded, but Obadiah and Keisha could see that Callie did not really believe him. Said Deputy Mayor spoke in a tone that was firm like forged solid steel, "I highly doubt that it will only be a 'few tests', as you said. If I guess right, your bosses saw these visitors and most likely they want to keep them here for a LONG time. And these simple tests might be done over and over again, with increasing danger and damage to these visitors.".
This had Mr. Feliks realize that the blonde beauty was right, and that made his hopeful face fall swiftly. Miss Wizmur & Mr. Kotecki could only grimly acknowledge that, as they knew some colleagues who would most likely make up tests for the visitors that would be quite… questionable.
Before anyone could say anything else, a teenage male kat wearing a scientist uniform but one that was green to indicate that he was an Intern came in and spoke, "Dr. Wizmur, Dr. Kotecki. The new room for the new visitors is all set up now. We can move them from the Containment Room to their new living space.".
Callie than looked to Obadiah & Keisha and inquired, "You're certain you can send them back home, right?". Dr. Kotecki nodded his head, stating that the Dimensionator was currently locked onto the frequency of the world Maria and the PPG were from. And just in case, wrote down the coordinates in his notebook & had Keisha memorize it. And it was good news indeed since said she-kat had a photographic memory.
The four scientists then looked to Callie, wondering on what her final say was. After a moment, she sighed and said in a tired but firm tone, "I'm coming with you to supervise this transfer, and also to see what these new visitors are like. But know this… I will be talking to your superiors about this, and also about these projects that involve weapons of mass chaos and destruction.".
The look and stance she showed displayed that she was not going budge on the issue. Reese, Obadiah and Keisha were starting to see a bit more clearly on why Callie Briggs was considered the REAL power behind the desk. Mayor Manx was nothing more than an empty politician, while the blonde bombshell was the real potent work in running Megakat City.
Obadiah answered in a calm voice, "That is understandable, and perhaps in this case the best choice in the long run. Perhaps with you around, we can make it so our visitors can leave back to their home universe in peace soon.". He and the others were always up to gain knowledge and understanding, but even they had limits that they set on themselves. And keeping living beings against their will like so was one of those limits.
Callie nodded, hoping that perhaps she can speak with the higher-ups of the facility to make sure that nothing serious would come to pass. And, with some form of good luck, she could make it that the visitors could leave this world on a positive note. This way, there would be no form of retaliation.
Miss Briggs was no fool. While she had complete faith in the SWAT Kats to come and save their tails like they did in the past, even she was not sure if they could handle something that was completely unknown from a completely different universe. The four scientists than escorted the Deputy Mayor so they she can meet Maria and the others.
Speaking of which, said little ladies from a different reality and time were all tense. They had put on their backpacks and had talked to one another, but in whispers so that the guards on the other side could not hear. It was at 1:00 p.m. that Keisha and the other scientists had returned, the guards a bit surprised to see the Deputy Mayor with them. Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup huddled towards Maria, who used her tail to wrap itself around them. While waiting, they decided to test their new appendages.
Callie looked through the window, surprised a little to see the new arrivals looking like regular kats. But just as Dr. Wizmur and Dr. Kotecki told her, they looked different from the normal kats in subtle ways. Some a bit more obvious, like the size of the eyes of the little ones. Maria glared at her from the other side, still not quite trustful even to newcomers.
The blonde beauty spoke through the microphone, "Hello there. My name is Deputy Mayor Callie Briggs. What is your name, ma'am?".
Maria answered with caution in her tone, "My name is Maria. And these little ones are my charges. And you… you are in charge of the town called MegaKat City, correct?".
Miss Briggs was a bit surprised and inquired, "Why, yes I am. How do you know of the city?". Maria pointed to Keisha, saying that she told them the name of the city & the facility they were in earlier.
Callie spoke once more in a polite tone, "Listen, I was told the entire situation. I'm very sorry that you had to come here to our universe like this. I will try to do what I can to make sure that your visit is short, and that we can send you all home in peace.".
The PPG and Maria were skeptical, and it showed on their faces. Callie saw this, any hope for any kind of positive reaction fading fast. She knew that the newcomers would not be quite receptive to her, but she had hoped for it. The beautiful and smart Deputy Mayor knew it would take some major action of some sort to earn the trust of Maria.
One of the guards spoke up, "Okay now, time for you ladies to get to your new dwellings! Come on!". His comrade opened the door, his weapon at the ready and gesturing for the superheroines to come forward. Maria and the little ones glared at the guard, then at Callie and the scientists. It was the halfa heroine that walked towards the guard first, her cool gaze upon the armed kat. Following close was Blossom, Buttercup and finally Bubbles.
Once they were outside, both guards pointed their guns at the newcomers and ordered the four to follow them. The PPG knew they could take them on easily and escape, but Maria had forbidden them to use any of their visible powers or abilities. It was not wise to show your opponent all of the cards you held until it was absolutely necessary.
They started to comply… when Bubbles did something that would secure their escape! She saw a red object on the wall close to her position, which was a Fire Alarm lever! She remembered a time during a field trip with her classmates to the Townsville Museum of Natural History and Art when the local prankster Mitch Mitchelson pulled the alarm. It caused the entire building to let out the wailing siren, red lights at certain points around the place flashing & all of the doors to open up! The kids, the other patrons and the workers of the establishment evacuated from the premises as per the instruction drills that they were taught.
Mitch had gotten in BIG trouble when it was discovered that it was him who created the false alarm.
Bubbles quickly formulated a plan, hoping that what happened at the museum would happen here in this new universe. Just as the guard behind her was about to tell her to move… she used a very slight burst of speed to rush to the lever and pull it down! While not anywhere close to her super-speed, it was enough to make others believe that she was just swift for her age and size.
The guard tried to stop her… but it was too late! The alarm sounded all over the facility, the yellow lights in the room replaced now with red emergency lights! The sudden noise and changes caused the people in the room to be disoriented and confused… and also the doors opening up completely and swiftly! It was part of the facility's fire safety protocols; that in the event of a real fire emergencies, all of the doors would be open to allow any occupants to evacuate from the premises!
The blonde haired & furred kitten called out to the others over the sirens, "Maria, girls! Come on!".
The trio were very much surprised to see Bubbles pulling a stunt like so, but at the moment, were not going to complain nor look a gift horse… or cat in this case, in the mouth. Maria kneeled down slightly quickly, grabbed Blossom and Buttercup in her arms, made a dash to scoop Bubbles in her arms before beating feet and retreating from the room!
The guards who managed to get their acts back together tried to stop them, but it was too late. The PPG and halfa heroine had gone through the open doors, and still kept going.
One of the guards exclaimed, "Get them! Don't let them get away! Call for back-up!". The two armed security detail followed the fleeing visitors from another universe, one of them pulling out a large, purple walkie-talkie and speaking into it.
As they watched the scene, Callie and the other scientists were still stunned on what had just occurred. Keisha went to the Deputy Mayor and exclaimed over the noise, "Miss Briggs, what do we do?!".
To her, that was a very good question. She thought, 'I should call in the… wait! If I do call the SWAT Kats, they might do something that may cause those four to do something drastic! And we have no idea what Maria and the others can do! So… well, hope I'm making the right call.'.
She looked to her and the other two scientists and ordered, "Obadiah, you and Reese go back to the rooms where the Dimensionator and that pocket watch is at! Make sure they are secured, along with the notes retaining to them! Keisha, go and call the Enforcers in! Let them know the situation, but tell them to come over here first so that everything can be explained to them!".
The three workers of the facility nodded their heads, going to where they needed to be. Callie soon rushed out the doors, wanting to see if she could possible find & locate the newcomers. However, she discovered that many kats were leaving the building as it was per the protocol that came when a fire alarm was sounded off. A majority of the kats were taking boxes & various items with them, most likely things of great value that they not dare leave behind.
Callie saw that looking through the crowd in the building was next to impossible, so she rushed outside to where the many employees were going to in designated spots. She looked this way and that for Maria and the little ones, but there was no sign of them. She said to herself, "We need to find them quickly! There is no telling what could happen to them… or if they fall into the wrong hands!". She had decided to stay behind to do damage control, as well as do something to make sure the Puma-Dyne executives & the Enforcers do not do anything that will make the situation worse.
The adventure of Maria and the PPG in the world of the SWAT Kats was now taking off!
~Outro; credits & song Somewhere Out There
The music plays as the screen is black, then shows a scene where a bedroom was at. The credits rolled upwards from the right side of the screen, going from the bottom all the way to the top. It was a simple bedroom with a dresser and old-school TV set. On the bed, covered in a large blanket, are Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup. They are in their anthro forms, snuggled together cutely as they are asleep in their new pajamas. The camera focuses on them for some moments, than slowly pans to the right to show someone looking out a window. Said window showed that it was nighttime, the stars shining brightly in the sky.
The being sitting near the window on a stool was Maria in her anthro kat form, also in some new pajamas as well. As the song lyrics came up, the camera slowly transitioned to show the face of Maria. Her eyes showed longing and sadness, looking through the window. The scene changed so that everyone could see what she was seeing, which was MegaKat City. The lights of the city were aglow, showing much activity there. The city was shown for several moments, than panned upwards towards the starry sky.
The camera changed to show Maria's face, a lone tear coming down her face.
The camera zoomed in slowly on her face for a few moments, than changed immediately to show the sky full of stars and a full moon.
After some moments, the camera switched and lowered down to show the house of the PPG. Three people could be seen from the middle window of the room on the top floor. The camera switched to show a close-up of the window, and it showed an older Danny Fenton on the left, Mrs. Alice Keane-Utonium in the middle and Mr. David Utonium on the right.
The camera showed David hugging Alice close, both showing extreme concern on their faces. Alice held her husband close, a tear slipping from their eyes as they showed they missed their daughters very much.
The camera than panned towards Danny, who was also looking worried as he looked at the moon. The camera soon changed to show said celestial object, and zooming into towards the silver orb. Soon, the face of Maria appeared in it but in her human form.
It soon changed back to show Danny, the scene now becoming wavy to indicate that something was taking place in an imagination realm. The scene becomes entirely black, than it shows Danny and Maria hugging each other lovingly and tightly. The scene stays like this for a few moments, than both images fade but the scene is still entirely black.
Appearing in a fade-in was Maria, who was still in her anthro form. She was still looking down, until someone appeared to wrap their arms around her. The camera showed that it was Danny, but in an anthro form as well! He had black fur, a white t-shirt on, blue jeans on & also a long black tail. He looked to be done in the body form of Jake. His tail wrapped and intertwined around Maria's own tail.
The two hugged one another lovingly, than something happened. The image appeared to shrink in size slightly, and appearing underneath it on the right-hand corner was Maria. It seemed that this was a night-dream sequence of sort. As Anthro-Maria appeared, so did Danny across from her. The image of him and Maria in her human form appeared above him, the two images directly opposite of one another.
The four images were shown like a formation of a square, in the middle as the moon as the credits rolled on by and finished up along with the song.

But mostly for the better, as I believe these certain characters have potential and true character possibilities that sadly were not expanded in the cannon universe.
And also, it will show Samantha Manson in a light that we believe to be correct. So to all those who are Sam fans… not sorry at all!
Bubbles does a daring move, allowing her, her sisters and Maria a chance to escape which they do! Now they are in the world of the SWAT Kats with not much information to go on, but in the next chapter you will see how clever and resourceful they are! Also, the last names of the Keisha and Obadiah are of Polish origin & also selected by my dear friend and partner Author Dreams Come True 996! Keisha's last name is in honor of legendary Polish voice actress Joanna Wizmur, and Obadiah's last name in honor of a character from a Polish TV series called Ranczo called Stasiek Kotecki.
